I was just going to let it go but I got an email today offering a chance to win a gift card for a review and it would be great to claw back some of the money I had to pay them. I went to this dealer because it was the only Chrysler dealer within 100 miles that didn t have a wait time after dropping off the car, that should have been a clue since it seems like everyone else already knows to avoid this place. My second clue should have been while waiting in the lobby a man pulled up to the service desk and started yelling at the service techs that they had ripped him off on a brake job and they were crooks, then he left. Ignoring these signs to turn around, I asked for help with an air conditioning issue, i had done my own troubleshooting and strongly suspected the compressor was bad. I communicated this to the service tech (who apparently is not a mechanic, and it was not communicated to the actual mechanic). I was quoted $180 to diagnose the AC, which seemed fair. I was fairly certain the compressor was bad but not for sure, $180 seems fair to be sure the compressor was bad before going through with replacing a $600 part. The dealer goes on to recommend checking every part but the compressor, I feel I was very clear with the service tech that I wanted the compressor checked but again, they wanted to check the wires between the dash and the compressor, the ac lines, everything but the compressor. Annoying because it takes a lot of time but if that s what their ac diagnosis calls for, whatever they want to spend all day doing is fine as long as the diagnosis comes out to the quoted $180. Anyway the following day they decide to finally check the compressor and lo and behold it s what s bad. Great now I know for sure. I go to get checked out and get told the cost is $550. That s insane. I ask to speak to the manager and get berated by the incredibly unprofessional man behind the curtain, I wish I remembered his name but anyway they knocked down the price to $300. Hopefully I win this gift card and get closer to the $180. Don t be like me, trust your gut, turn around, go literally anywhere else . Not sure if every dealer is this way (the other dealers in the area have long wait times, maybe they provide better service) but I know I will never EVER go back to a Chrysler dealer for service outside of warranty due to this experience and will recommend the same to anyone I know.

The process for getting my paperwork was super fast and simple. I came in with a pre approved loan and they got me a better deal through their own banks. When one bank wouldn't accept my bill for proof of residency the finance specialist submitted automatically with another bank. Overall an awesome experience. Highly recommend for all my friends.

Normally I gloss over any issues I have during a car service appt., but I can't anymore. I got several Recall notices from Jeep about two recall issues with my Grand Cherokee. When I called in, I made a point of telling the appointment setter what the recalls were and the recall numbers. That done when I got to my appointment I was told (we can fix one, but we will have order parts for the other. DON'T waste my time!!! When a customer calls in with specific repair information it should be checked BEFORE!!! an appointment is set up so that the Service department can actually do the repair parts ready when the customer comes in! It is a major safety hazard type Recall repair that I now have to wait for the dealer to call me to set up yet another appointment. A simple fix to the appointment system would solve this issue. The appointment office should be able to coordinate with Service and the Parts departments when it is known that parts will be needed for the repair appointment.UPDATE: Thanks to an alert staff (and Parts department) at Autonation the parts for my Recall repair were quickly found and I have already been in for the repair.A BIG thank you to Autonation for responding to this review so quickly and resolving the issue I faced.

This was my first visit at this location. Christian Clinton was my Service Advisor. I give him a 5. He was very informative, knowledgeable and kind. The oil change took 2 hours. Less than 5 minutes after leaving the service center, my battery light, check engine light and low oil pressure came on. I called, the call center was not able to get in touch with anyone at the service center. I made it back to the service center, they said the "O ring" broke because the mechanic put the seal on too tight, they fixed the problem. My suggestions, make sure there is a way for customers to contact the service center in case of emergencies, if there is a problem make a follow up call to make sure everything is still good and give the customer a refund if you make a mistake.

Every time I have set an appointment to have my Jeep and my Yukon serviced at the AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM South Columbus location, Josh and the service department have been awesome! I can tell that he (and they) have sincerely looked out for me and my family's well-being when it comes to us having reliable transportation. He makes sure to explain and talk with me about the servicing of my vehicle and what I need to do until it is time for the next check-up. They make us feel like more than a customer, but a member of the AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM family. Thank you for all you guys do.

Chris was amazing. He called with daily updates on my jeep and he even checked for recalls while he had it which i didn t even think about. They had such a friendly and nice environment. I would definitely recommend 10/10.

Showed up unannounced requesting service on my 2016 Challenger Hellcat. Tito without any hesitation honored this request promptly and professionally. My vehicle service was complete in less than an hour. On top of that the windows was wiped clean. I m impressed

My Sevice Advisor is Christopher W.On the two occasions that I've been in, he ensures that I understand what the service inhaled. Chris also listens intently if there is concern, which is very much appreciated!The Technicians seem to work well with the advisors and do good work.

Autonation on the south side is where I ve been for my last three vehicles! My main man is Dale Livingston and he made me feel so important as he searched for my car. He took time out of his very busy schedule to do this! Dale also included Jason Hammonds to help me when he needed assistance due to their business. It's ok, the gentleman helping was nice. They did keep my car close to 2 weeks, when I went to check 1 of the mechanics said they had the part 2 days prior. Their seems to be a disconnect between the front counter folks and the actual mechanics. I should've had my car probably by Monday, got it Thursday. Patience is a must with this place.
