We stayed in October and had a blast! The office staff was super accommodating and let us move spots to be closer to some friends that we were camping with. Great location with easy access. Some spots could be a little tricky to back into but hey, what's the fun without that. Kids enjoyed the playground and the camp store was great to have.

Great clean spots. Accommodating of large rigs, we re a 43 for fifth wheel and had no problem pulling in, make a plan to pull out though as one of their rows has a steep incline on the exit side. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very close to Helen, GA made for an easy drive, hiking trails all around it.Safety: Seemed pretty safe to us

This campgrounds location is an absolute gem for visiting Helen or the surrounding areas. It s easy to get in/out of off the highway and it s easily found. The staff is friendly and the grounds are very well kept. There was plenty of availability for walk in campers. Checkin/checkout was smooth however I felt like the girl who was at the desk didn t pay that much attention to us and was distracted the whole time. Tent camping was very tight and the sites were a little blurred as to which was which. You are right on top of your neighbors. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. However if you are on a motorcycle I DO NOT RECOMMEND this campground. We were on our bikes and it was never made mention when checking in that the roads were a large loose gravel footing. Along with a very awkward steep gravel hill that going into the tent camping area. This hill could have been avoided if we were informed of it. The two of us basically had to slide down the hill because of the loose rock and weird angle. Even trucks with campers were sliding down this hill and another.

If your new to this RV camper camping stuff like I am do best not to come into this new way of calm blind. Do your homework before you venture off to quiet time. If you love your RV but hate your bathroom, take advantage of the bathhouse. Hottest water in my lifetime and the water is hard but so is life. If your wanting quietness, mountains at your backdoor and just for whatever your reasons are to get off the grid so ta speak, if you get a spot your in like Flynn. Honestly I just don't like the small bathroom chit. I'll head to the bathhouse and be good with it. But the good thing is that it's different and quiet. And if anybody bothers me it's going to be caused by me n me only lol . I'm James. One Huge huge down fall for me and the fiancee is that having to go to the library to be able to get your work from home work complete only because the library has good wifi, the campgrounds wifi I'm sorry yall but unless you've got the hook up your not doing much nor want to. Other than that welcome folks. Absolutely. Lot#22Nearby activities: Helen is real close like 3 miles so that's a plus

Wife and I stayed for 6 days. Its a nice campground. The people running it/working there are very nice. They seem to have activities for people and people with children. Wifi was a plus. Campground is a little tight and pretty well lit(that could be a draw back for some). The location is awesome, arguably unbeatable. 10 minutes from Helen, 45-60 minutes from blue ridge lake, lake chatuge, 10 -20 minutes from various hikes and waterfall trails.

The sites are pretty close together, it's well lit at night so dark sleepers might have an issue, it's right off the highway so you hear trucks and loud cars and motorcycles at all times of the day and night. Not really a spot if you want to feel as if you're away from civilization. Not a bad experience though. Might be a repeat.

We have stayed here many times and love it. The people are very friendly and accommodating. It's clean, quiet with an all around good atmosphere. Close to whatever you need. Love it, will always be my first choice for camping near Helen, Cleveland and Hiawassee.

This is a large campground. It is very convenient to both Cleveland and Helen. Sites are level but some of the roads and backing into the sites could be challenging. I would recommend doing a little research before you select your site. Very clean.

Quaint, adorable campground, close to the road (only reason the review is 4 stars,) yet very well maintained. Clean bath house, tent sites arranged along a tiny, trickling creek. Make sure you ask for the grassy area if you have a tent. Gravel area seems best for trailers and RVs, most of which are long term campers. Super close to Helen. Super close to grocery store too. Highly recommend!

This was my first trip to this campground. I had gone up to meet a friend Saturday for the rally in Helen. The only issue I had with this campground was the restroom. I don't even know if this issue could be fixed. The humidity in the restroom was just terrible. There was a fan set up, but it was just not enough. Perhaps a screen door?

Before arriving we were informed water would be turned off due to freezing temps. We understood but looking at the weather for the week temps would warm up within 2 days at least. We arrived on a Sunday, by Wednesday still no water. We attached our hoses in anticipation of the water being turned back on. Someone detached our hose while we were out. We asked several employees several times and were given very vague answers. By end of Thursday we decided to cut our trip short due to lack of action and concern from them to turn the water back on. In talking to other campers we also discovered we seemed to be the only ones without water.Bathhouse was cleaned ONCE during our entire stay.Park is quiet and close to tourist attractions.A little communication would have gone a long way with us regarding the water but they had gotten our money for the week so I guess they just didn t care.

Nice campground. We stayed in site 13. Level site. No issues with full hookups. Very convenient to Helen GA.

Really nice campground with full hook-ups. Lots of trees and very hilly, but the pads seem pretty level from what we saw. Their rates are very good if you plan on staying a while. Right in between Cleveland and Helen, so perfect to explore the area.

We greatly enjoyed our multi-day stay here! The staff was friendly and accommodating (to including helping us get back to our vehicle at the nearby Mt. Yonah trailhead after we managed to come down a different way right near the campground) and our site was of great quality! We didn t utilize the facilities or amenities very much but everything seemed to be of high-quality. The location is convenient both to Helen and Cleveland. The only downside, if it matters to you, is the lack of laundry on-site.

This is one of the best campground we have had the pleasure of visiting. We stayed 5 days and honestly hate to leave. The sites are clean and shady and are landscaped with rock so there was no mud even with heavy rain. The people are extremely nice and very friendly. The whole time we stayed here was a pleasure. I definitely recommend. We will be staying here again whenever we are in the area.

We visited family that was staying here, it was a cute campground, well kept, has a game playing area, a pool (open during the summer season), a front office with various camping necessities you can buy. There is an Ingles not far if you need more substantial groceries. Helen, GA is 7-8 miles down the road with all their attractions. Cabbage patch land isn t far either. Cute campground surrounded by plenty to do but far enough away for a quiet camping experience as well.

This was the first and last time we will ever stay here!! Let me start off by telling you they have a 10pm rule that s quiet time, and that we could no longer play corn hole (at the front of the park or at our camp site, on a Saturday night) but we could congregate and hang outside our campers and listen to music. But when we got to our campers to do so, keep in mind we have 3 kids with us so we were not partying, his young boy that was driving him around anddrove up in their golf cart and sat in the dark to watch and make sure that we weren t being too loud. Then drove up and got out and told us we needed to keep it down. We were sitting underneath our canopy of our camper and listening to music from a phone, not a speaker. He proceeded to tell us that there was a 75 year old man trying to sleep behind us, whose RV had colorful flashing lights around the slide outs which was directly in our window to where we were sleeping. Not to mention there were cars coming and going (pretty quickly) right next to where we were parked. But we were being too loud with 3 kids, some seltzer beer, and some music playing from a cell phone speaker. Also I d like to say how unprofessional and creepy it was for him to keep lurking to see if we were going to be loud. If you re thinking about staying here and hanging outside your camper after 10 pm, DON T!!!!! If you like to go to bed early and not socialize and make memories after dark, this might be the place for you. It was that gentleman who was harassing us that was so ridiculous everybody else that we talked to was nice. In my opinion if you can t do anything outside of your camper after 10 you shouldn t be able to drive through the camp ground either.

Will not be going here again first time and last the quiet hours are ridiculous and there s somebody that rides around on a golf cart and harasses you for just sitting outside your camper. The other thing is the place is obviously infested with what we call stink bugs being from Florida. We don t have them we noticed one or two while we were there inside the camper, when we got home I put a bug bomb inside and noticed 6 to 7 of the dead two or three them still hanging on. They cram everybody in every site and every nook and cranny possible. There are a lot of long-term campers and they all have the best sites up on top of the hill, when we asked if they delivered firewood to us, they actually laughed at us recently having a knee operation it would ve been nice never again
