Dropped my truck off and gave a list of whats needed to chad. He and the staff are professional and listened listened to my concerns. Hope to hear from them when they open and are able to fix the situation. will update when I hear...when a trucker is down for repairs it adds up to loss of revenue and I believe they have my best interest at hand...

Not my first visit to powertrain but definitely my last. Had a trans rebuilt it lasted 11 months. Second rebuild along with 2 PTO's developed a leak after 5 weeks on a hydraulic hose off the pump due to chaffing caused by poor installation. Stopped in and asked to have it looked at. I was told I needed to leave the truck and they'd work it in in a couple days. Wouldn't even look to see what the issue was. Their customer service leaves much to be desired. Customer service starts with the owner and works its way down and I ended at the top with the same lack of service. One should not have to lose days of revenue for what would have been a simple fix that shouldn't have happened anyway.Long story short, consumer beware if you should find yourself at this establishment.

amazing!! We were told by another company our car had a major problem that was going to be expensive to repair. We brought it to powertrain and they worked on it. They got down to the real problem, fixed it, and saved us a lot of money!!

Our first experience with them has been a learning experience for sure. We never had a drive shaft modified before so we gave them the incorrect information. And of course it didn t work. But we called them , then went back and they worked with us to get exactly what we needed. It took 3 times for us to get it right. But they were patient, helpful and didn t charge us for the re-dos. Would definitely recommend them. Their establishment is impeccably clean and organized.

Called Powertrain after having zero luck with any other local shops within a 50 mile radius to get a my rear diff rebuilt on my Ram 1500. I was in a time crunch as I m from Canada and talked to Chad and explained my situation to him. He was super professional and friendly and told me to drop my truck off on Monday and he d have me fixed up before the weeks end. They had my truck fixed up and ready to go by Wednesday! Definitely did me a big favour by being able to get me in and out so quickly ! Would highly recommend

Took then 6 weeks to order the correct part for an install that took two days. The customer service was terrible. The man at the front desk with tattoos running down his arms (who also should not the the guy answering the telephone by the way since he has absolutely no patience) was rude, uncooperative and standoffish. I could not get anyone to actually help me until I talked to the owner, who made what the guy at the front was making a big deal not one at all. Took me an hour just to pay my bill and get out of there.

I needed a center cluster for my Dana 44 differential; they obtained one for me next day, at the price they quoted and everything worked out well. Staff was friendly, professional and helpful. I will be a repeat customer.....

It sucked! Call rep rushed us off the phone and talked over us the whole call. After giving her viable information, she still kept asking if I was sure that we called them. We hung up after being told 2 different prices by two different reps.

I wish there was a way to leave a bad review for just one employee. The biker guy behind the counter was RUDE and UNHELPFUL. As a business owner myself I would be ashamed to have an employee like him working for my company, aside from giving wrong information to me, he had zero customer service skills to boot. The other guy that works up front that has curly hair and wears a headset is very helpful and typically friendly in my experience so if you chose to do business here try to go to him otherwise good luck. If biker guy reads this they DO make a 1310 to 1350 conversion joint, it is moog #348.

Called, they said bring my truck by, they looked at it right away and told me what they needed to do. Said it may take a week, called with estimate of repairs, It took a week and cost what they said. Good review because they were honest and did what they said and I have had no problem since.

I dropped my truck off at power train because it developed a vibration somewhere from the engine to the rear axle caused by the drive shaft. It's a 4 wheel drive truck. I have done business with Terry in the past and have always been very happy

Well straight to the point rear end lock up on truck was unsure where to take I we decided to have it towed etc they called the following week which was fine I knew the estimate wouldn't be good 1965dollarsI asked about the gear ratio, how many miles on reverend etc well guess what? This indis individual said he did not know but they sure had a estimate.oh yeah said it was coming of truck they had in yard and my normal self would spoke up which 9 out of ten times I do especially ror 2000 dollars and not getting a brand new parts.so far not too bad but Fri morning im guessing the boss said noise was coming from year and that's normal when u get new gears REDFLAG was told parts where coming off truck anyway he said it it go bad our good u have a 6mos warranty another red flag new parts and only six months so my suspicion is way up plus the truck sat there all day Friday until I finally called oh yeah pick it up.i got there expecting a little courteous service after that much money but everyone was rude I couldn't get a straight answer on truck.i give me 0 stars forgot debit cards had to call bank so my fault didn't explain what the did I asked why did it lock up said all grease leakout well I'm not a mechanic but 110 thousand miles just didn't make sense still making noise so going back next week and get a little detail on parts and where they come from one said new and the other off wreck truck.I hope I'm all wrong but didn't show Mr the bad parts why it leaked etc.i hope this goes poor compunction to I know what the heck happen hope I'll change t 5 stars tbc

Was told 2-3 days to get my truck in. 12 days later still haven't even looked at it. They might do good work but you'll go broke waiting. I won't be back.

Had them rebuild my transmission put it back in my truck put fluid in it and right when I started my truck it was draining fluid from every seal. Front input shaft was dumping fluid. The rear shaft going to transfer case was leaking. Inspection plates were leaking. And where the housing bolted up was leaking.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Don't go here for driveshaft work. Brought it here because of a drive line shake. Price was fine, almost lost my driveshaft 2 days after work was done due to a used bolt not being replaced per Spicer's recommendation. U joint strap bolt broke off. Was told the shaft was fine when it was first in the shop, then I insisted it be balanced and they stated it was 78oz out afterwards. Only balanced to within 18 oz. Said the u-joints were fine. Then I find out there was excessive side to side play in my front joint meaning it was not properly balanced. Weights not properly welded to the shaft nor was the old weight removed prior to balancing. It was all done wrong. Won't be going back. Replacing the joint and stripping off the weights myself fixed the problem. All is fine now.The downtime alone cost me more than a new driveshaft. Unacceptably low quality of work. They had one job and we're more worried about getting my truck out of the way rather than making it right.

The folks at Powertrain are great to work with. My 1953 Willys CJ3B is so much closer to being finished with the new/shortened driveshafts. Reasonable pricing also.

Needed my front wheel drive CV axle rebuilt, not replaced due to substandard parts at auto parts store. Employee at counter said they don't "do" any CV axles. How is a CV axle not a drive line part? It connects from transmission to wheel on a FWD vehicle, no different in theory than a drive shaft that connects transmission to the rear drive axle on a rear wheel drive. Also all 4 wheel drive vehicles have CV axles to the front wheels, so they don't "do" those either. It baffles me how a drive line shop can say they don't work on drive lines. Disappointed to say the least. Website even says: Powertrain manufactures and repairs all types of driveshafts:AgricultureAutomotiveLight thru Heavy Duty TruckTwo wheel and four wheel driveImportsWhat exactly is "All types" of drive shafts?
