Forget about every preconceived notion you have about motels; this place is beautiful! The rooms are spacious cabins meticulously decorated to a theme. Ours was Room #1, Cowboy Wisdom.They are clean, newly renovated and have all the amenities you need. We stayed one night after visiting the town of Helen for the Christmas parade, etc. The motel is only a few minutes drive outside of Helen.The service was a unique setup with self-checkin/checkout. It worked flawlessly. It was a pleasure to stay here.I can see why this is rated so highly; it delivers on the high expectations!Rooms: The room was clean, felt newly renovated, and the decorations were a pleasure right down to the smallest detail. (Cowboy hats hanging up and boot near the door)

We just got home from this beautiful cabin Nacoochee motel in 6725 Clarkesville ga . Is 2:17 am I m writing this review because I m very disappointed The room is beautiful but. It was hair on top of the sheets, the quilt it s never been washed and in top of that the shower didn t work. If You are the owner who is reading this review let me tell you your housekeeper it s no doing the job.

The best motel experience I've ever had. The owner Renee was extremely helpful and accommodating especially after I had to reschedule my trip. I stayed in 2 rooms over the course of 10 days and it was an amazing time. I love the cabin like aesthetics and everything was cozy and perfectly set up. Couldn't be happier with my stay. If you are planning to vacation in the area or visit family around those parts I highly recommend this motel. It's only about 15 minutes from Mount Airy and maybe 10 from Helen.Thank you Renee for making my visit so enjoyable and stress free. It was the best time I've had in years.

We left after a few hours. The room looks good but the furniture is shot and the quilt and linens smelled like they hadn't been cleaned since the 70's. Very disappointed.Rooms: Hair on the sheets, did it for my wife.

My wife and I spent 3 nights over this Memorial Day weekend celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. Room, staff, amenities, everything was top notch. Owners are just fabulous people. The staff at the Dugout restaurant/bar were just as great...CANNOT wait to go back again. Quiet clean and a hidden jewel. You owe it to yourself to stay here

This place was fantastic!! Contactless check-in was easy and smooth. Housekeeping was helpful and kind. Just Wonderful people and a peaceful, quiet, cozy atmosphere! It was cold weather during our stay and our family was quite warm and comfortable in our room. Big bathtub in tub/shower combo for the kiddos to have their bubble baths. Beds are comfortable, pillows were softer so side-sleepers may want to bring an extra firm one or two. Kids had a blast running around in the large open space in the back so we only used the TV in the room once. Spent the vast majority of our time in nearby Helen. This was a fabulous alternative to staying downtown in the hustle and bustle!This place was reasonably priced, relaxing, clean, and just felt like home. We loved it so much, we booked another stay in the fall! Can t wait to come back!

Absolutely perfect! We stayed there three nights last week for our son's wedding over in Cleveland. The room was adorable, spacious and clean. We had a sitting area and a kitchenette. We had a comfortable king size bed and two closet areas. The bathroom was very nice. The customer service was second to none. I would highly recomment and I plan to go back for another visit!!

Unfortunately, I have to leave a one-star review because of the booking issue my fianc� and I faced. We had booked through their website about 1-2 months prior to our mountain getaway. We had plans of exploring the area and taking an excursion. However, my fianc� gets a call about 7-9days before our trip that the Nacoochee Valley Motel had a reservation system failure and that the computer cancelled our stay. They acted like it was no big deal, so we looked desperately for another place to stay, but since it was the weekend of Labor Day, everything was already booked. We ended up having to cancel our excursion and got stuck with a cancellation fee as a result of Nacoochee Valley Motel cancelling our booking due to the system failure and then unable to reschedule us because it was essentially double booked.The first time we stayed here in Nov 2021, we absolutely loved it and had plans on coming back so many times to support a beautiful and clean motel like this one. Our first stay was amazing! The motel is tucked away in a beautiful location, the room was so clean, and there was so much heart into the upkeep of the motel. However, we will not be back because of the customer service we received. I know mistakes happen and I am very understanding of that, but the motel made no effort to try and rectify the booking issue, and as a result, we were stuck calling off our entire trip altogether and being faced with cancellation fees from an excursion.I hope they got their reservation system fixed because I don't want anyone having the same problem we did.

Our house keeper Lynn is awesome. She goes above and beyond. She makes you feel very welcome and responds quickly. She left towels for our dogs. This place is awesome. We staid in Duck Down. You feel just like you're in a cabin. The restaurant next door is very affordable and delicious. It is peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Very close to downtown Helen but also has privacy.

Awesome! Very nice and beautiful room!! I can t say enough great things! The decor was just nice! We had a nice deck out back with a beautiful view of nature! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was very nice and accommodating. Expedia messed up my reservation but the owner made sure I was fine and the other family that was double booked for the same room! Expedia is just hard to trust. Can t wait to go back!!!!

We stayed in the suite at the Nacoochee Valley Motel. It was the nicest room and Lynn is great, she makes you feel right at home just like you are family! This was a nice Valentine's Day surprise for my wife! Thanks for making the weekend so nice!

My daughters and I stayed in the Big Horn Suite this past weekend and it was awesome, and marvelous. The suite was plenty big, homey and warm. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The motel was centrally located for our adventure between towns that we hopped around in. Will be staying again, so much nicer than a hotel. No noise, quiet and peaceful.

Listen folks!!! If you haven t stayed here, you are missing out. Super affordable vs a typical hotel stay, and the rooms are super customized log cabins. Also, you literally don t have to talk to anyone... pay online, and your confirmation comes with a key code to access your room. If you do need staff, they are extremely friendly, and helpful. In-room coffee game was great with a Kuerig, and more than two sugar packs!! :D The biggest thing that stuck with me was the bed... most comfortable bed, and best nights sleep I ve had in years. This alone is reason enough to return.

What a great roadside motel! Every room is decorated differently but with the feel of being in a cabin. Very friendly owners. Nice outside picnic area with horseshoes and a fire pit. Every room has a back deck also. There is a nice bbq restaurant within walking distance.

We were thoroughly impressed with this beautiful lil getaway!! The rooms are so pretty and immaculately clean! The whole staff made us feel sooooo welcome and a part of the family! We came to bear hunt and made friends all at the same time! We can t wait to come back next year!

This is a hidden gem! My sister and I throughly enjoyed our stay at Nacoochee Valley Hotel. The room was clean and had a lot of character. The staff was welcoming and accommodating.I definitely recommend Nacoochee Valley Motel.

Wonderful CLEAN rustic cabin styled- & dog friendly- @ great prices just down the road from Helen GA & Chattahoochee National Forest! Room offered everything you d want for a vacation landing pad: keurig w/ supplies, mini fridge & kitchenette, private outdoor patio, Hulu etc smart tv, & toiletries supplied. Easy self check-in & check-out. Walk to BBQ restaurant next door & a Dollar General! Accommodating manager helped get me in @ a great rate after a last minute AirBnb booking mixup. WILL return for sure!!
