We came out to this location from the northside of Atlanta because Fulton county DDS's didn't have road test appointments available for several months. We were able to schedule one asap by coming out to this office. The staff was helpful, polite and easygoing. We were able to efficiently and quickly get the licensing completed. I'd recommend the drive and location to anyone who can't wait 3 months for a road test in Fulton county. Outside of the driving time, it's just a far more pleasant experience and the employees are not power tripping, militant, nor cruel as you'll find they are at some Georgia DDS locations. It's also very scenic and pretty.

5 stars is not enough but that is all I could give, The staff at the DMV in Cedartown were the BEST!! They were so kind and understanding, but also followed the rules. My son has Autism and he passed his drivers exam today. The sweet lady who administered the exam was so excited when he passed.Thanks for a great experience at the DMV :)

I took my grandson to get his license and all the staff were very nice and it helped my grandson to feel comfortable. This is by far the very best place to go. I really hope they never close this place. Thanks guys and girls for making it a great day for Jordan.

The employees were helpful and courteous. We arrived at 10:30 as instructed when the appointment was made on line, the appointment was for 11. They were short on employees and we didn't leave until 12:20. Nearly two hours is unacceptable.

Not crowded at all,no long waiting period. Service was good and staff was very friendly. What changed was now you get an ID and a Drivers License.

Why stay open until 6pm, but then claim to me at 4:45 you take your last appointment at 4:20. Not only did I get my license here without an appointment. My fiance did as well. I walk in today with my little sister to help her get my license. They claim that there is no possible way for her to get in today to get an appointment. The lady took extra steps. Rude steps to explain herself. I'll be back because I'm going to make you provide services to us despite the fact that we are both minorities. It's 4:45 and they are scared it will be dark outside? By the time it took me to get through all of this. The test would have been done. Small minded bigots

Today I took my nephew to get his License and when I got there he was in on the reservation. We look at the confirmation number and realized that his appointment was for 8/20. He said he couldn't take us so we decided to sit down and make a new reservation. During that time the gentleman working the counter called my nephew up and told him to fill out this paper and told us that he would work us in. He did and my nephew was able to get his license. I couldn't be more thankful to the gentleman behind the counter and the tester. Thank you so much!!

This is my new location for the DDS. The ladies and gentlemen there are so kind, caring, understanding, KNOWLEDGEABLE and the explain everything in detail. Cheryl is the lady that helped me today when I went in. I had an appointment and she took time to listen to me and help me in every way. The manager of that location Tammy is the very best she express her care and goes above and beyond to help customers. I have to honestly say I ve not been to a DDS location in the State of Georgia that has exceptional customer service! I mean this was so pleasant and I made some friends along the way. Anytime in the future I am required to go to the DDS my DDS IS IN CEDARTOWN GEORGIA

2 years in a row I went here to get my license ,staff is very friendly and helpful. Cheryl helped me and the guy at desk 1 went out of his way and called the main office to make sure my paperwork can be verified. I live in Rome but have to drive to Cedartown. Overall the staff here is helpful and friendly.

Ruuuuuuude. Rude. Rude. Rude. Rude. The lady with shoulder length blondish grayish hair maybe 5'5. Ill gladly drive 50 extra miles round trip to Rome to avoid her. I NEVER said it was her fault the system went down twice in one week both times I was there Tuesday and Today. I simply wanted to confirm what she was able to do if I could just take the hazmat endorsement without taking the picture today or whatever. She just wanted to argue like an angry teenager. Never going back there!!!!

This place is a haven for COVID as they pack customers in a small area with no social distance due to the over crowded office. The office is over crowded because they never have enough people serving customers at the counter. Its 7 counters for assisting customers but they never use more than 2-3. In addition they are super slow with no one to assist those coming in the door for help. Worst DDS office in the state of Georgia!

Yeah. Too bad I can't give it zero stars. Absolutely the worst office in Georgia. Save the hassle, go to Rome. From the time you go in the door, they are rude, condescending and just plain horrid. If you have papers folded up when they ask for them you better be braced cause they don't like it. Have your papers ready when you walk in the door. Also. If you follow directions they yell at you. If you don't, they yell at you. Be prepared to be yelled at. They also don't explain anything. Just tell you to go online. I heard the phrase "thats not my problem" more than once. And when you ask any questions they tell you that you can check the website.Drive to Rome or Cartersville. Avoid this place like the plague

They were very helpful. We had a fun rat race getting documents, in the end I wish this crew worked back in Florida they are the best DDS crew I ever spoke to.

I have been in here numerous times over the past few years and every time there is a heavy set white woman with dark hair who is on her cell phone the entire time I am in the building - sitting at one of the counters. She talks loud so you have to listen to her personal conversations. It is very annoying and a waste of tax payer money.

They have a typical Gov. maze when calling.... there is no way to talk to a person. The options always lead to a dead end. Or it hangs up on you... I gave it one star because there is nothing lower. Sad service !!!!

worst possible people working here!!! They refuse to do there job and constantly take joy in making something so simple a true nightmare... The best thing that the State of Georgia could do is replace every employee in that building because clearly they don't understand what it means to have a job...

Miserable customer service and very unhelpful! Went to another Department of Driver Services 40 minutes from home and had everything handled within an hour! I do not recommend wasting your time here go to Carrolton instead they will have better information!

I went into the DMV to get a license, and when I walked in I was greeted with rude attitude, slouching on the desk, and when I politely asked the lady what documents I needed to get a license she rudely gave me a sheet of paper and aggressively circled what I needed I felt so disrespected I left will never come back here again .

They were a little crowded, and there was a little wait, but the ladies there were super helpful and sweet. I would definitely recommend going there. It was worth the wait!

Trying to get an appointment to change the address on my license is a bad joke. Waited on the phone line for 15 minutes and then was told I would need to go on line to make the change. I had already been on line and filled out the paperwork and received a confirmation number and was given the phone number to make an appointment. (Government) our tax dollars at work!

I have been to two different DMVs including.this one to take my CDL learners test. The book and the DMV website says that there are 50 questions on the knowledge test and 25 for air brakes. I know all the answers to the questions from the book. I have studied it from back to front. Everytime I get to the 50 question mark and I am passing the test it keeps going until I miss one more and then it fails me and the say with the air brakes. These test are rigged. It is set up for failure. Who ever is programing these test has no clue what they are doing.
