Did a great job on our truck. Was quoted many prices, but those folks didn't sound much like they were gonna fix the problem, just band-aid it for a bit, and for more than was charged here for a complete rebuild with better parts. Thank you guys

These guys are the only shop that services my fleet of vehicles seeing 100k miles each year. Labor rate is fair, parts are not marked up a ridiculous amount to compensate either. This is one of few places you can bring your vehicle and not have to worry about what happens after you drop it off. I used to be a Ford fleet mechanic and can tell a garbage repair shop from a good one.I could take my vehicles anywhere in the country and I bring them here because my expensive equipment and time is actually respected.

Amazing service!!! Great people to deal with!! I was moving from Mississippi to South Carolina and my transmission went out. Had it towed to them on a Sunday and Tuesday they had a great quote and diagnosis. I needed my transmission completely rebuilt. They worked with me on paying them. Bob was very professional and understanding with me about everything!! Picked up my truck and went back to Mississippi then back to South Carolina truck didn t miss a beat!! Wish they were closer to me I d use them to maintain my vehicles regularly!!!! For a professional and great experience USE THESE GUYS!!! JOB WELL DONE IN MY BOOK!!Service: Transmission

These folks gave me an upfront price and they stuck by it.... they got the work done quickly as promised. The transmission in my minivan seems to be working perfectly now. I'm very happy with the service I received and I would highly recommend this business.

All around excellent experience. I brought a transmission in out of the vehicle for them to rebuild and they did it reasonably and in a timely manner. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and care about their work. Their transmission guy took time to explain a few things I needed to know when reinstalling the transmission in my van. Communication was great through the entire process. This shop is highly recommended!!!

I took my Jeep to another place recommended by a friend. They had it for a month didn t do any work but told me I needed a new transmission and transfer casing and it would cost $6,000. I took to Bob and team they fixed in a week for $2,500. Now I am taking all my work there. Pinking up my fianc�es car now it was done in a day. Totally satisfied!!!! 5 star all the way.Service: Transmission

Took my car here and they were super friendly and helpful with the whole thing. They even went above and beyond and welded my exhaust leak. Transmission runs great and Im not saying id want to be a returning customer, lol, but if i ever needed to or recommend anyone itd be here.

Dealer said I needed to replace my transmission and some other parts for $6800. Saw the reviews were good and called for a quote. The quote was about half. Took it over there and they checked it over and couldn't find any issues. They could have charged me $3000 and I'd have thought I got a bargain, but they said everything looked fine, didn't even need a service at this time. They said it might have been a fluke, or an issue with a sensor and if it happens again to bring it in so they can check the codes. I paid the diagnostic fee and drove it home. Wonderful place! I ve have had to call them twice for their service and they were so nice and immediately came to my rescue! Within 20 minutes they picked up my vehicle and within a couple hours called me to update me on the issues. The service was fast. I m a single woman and they made everything so easy for me and didn t over charge me. I will not use anyone else.

This was my first time using this shop and I'll definitely be back. Bob and Daniel are the best. They installed a transmission in my truck and it works great. Prices are great and the customer service is the best I've seen in a long time .

Best auto shop around!!! Took my 2012 escape in on Friday for a diagnostics and picked up on Monday running like new. If they can fix it they will without any EXTRAS!!!

Very pleased with my service at west georgia auto. Everyone from the owner to everyone else I talk to was very nice and helpful. I'm new to this side of town and didn't know a good place to take my car and my brother recommended them. I would recommend them to anybody for their auto repair needs. Our older car (2003) was having some problems that we thought were transmission-related, so we brought it here. After fixing the problem, the car still was not running right. They looked through our car exhaustively and had to replace a few things looking for the answer. When they finally found out what the actual problem was, they only charged us to fix that and did not charge us for any of the other things they replaced in attempting to fix it since they did not end up being the problem. We were absolutely blown away at how kind and genuine and ethical of a business they are. If you have any doubts or concerns about a mechanic cheating you, these people will NOT ever do that. They are honest and fair. That's hard to find and a great resource for our community. I don't think we'll ever take our cars anywhere else now. Will be recommending to everyone when they need a mechanic.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

I got my transmission replaced here about a month and a half to 2 months ago. I can't remember the guys name who did it for me but my car is still doing great, this business is very knowledgeable and they already knew the Nissan CVT transmission for my car needed reprogramming. Fair prices as well. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone!! Thank you!

Down to earth prices. Never over estimated costs. Alway job well done. One time I even took something in to be replaced thinking it was broke. And it was only disconnected didn't scam me told me the truth hooked it back up for minimal labor charge. 100% would recommend

They fixed an issue that my dealership couldnt seem to fix. I appreciate this place SOOO MUCH! I m a 21 year college girl who drives a lot. I haven t had any problems out of my car at all! Definitely recommend!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

West Georgia Auto is a family run business with a group of wonderful people behind the counter. Every time I walk through their doors it s a pleasant experience and doesn t leave me with out a penny to spare. I was first referred to them after another local shop gave me a inflated and wallet gouging quote that had me in a panic, however one call to West Ga. Automotive and I was feeling very relieved. On top of the reasonable pricing and wonderful customer service I haven t experienced one problem with any of the repairs or services done to my vehicle. I wouldn t suggest any where but here for your mechanic needs!

After sending my vehicle to two dealerships and waiting a week for a diagnosis from the first and getting an outrageous quote from the second dealership a friend told me about West GA Auto Transmission & Repair. Took my vehicle to them and had a diagnosis within hours and a quote significantly lower than the dealership. I called to check on my vehicle and found they had encountered another problem unrelated to the repair and they had already taken care of it for me. I was pleased to know the issue was taken care of rather than put back together to be someone else's problem. This place is ran by good honest people and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Outside of friendly service, fast, and honesty. West ga transmission did quality work. After having my truck back for a few days I even received a call from them to ensure I was not having any issues and yes, I'm very satisfied with the work performed by west ga transmission.

We took our Chevy Cruze to Daniel and Brandys shop last week with an oil leak around our valves . They had our car fixed in just a matter of hours . We highly recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for kind and dependable service.

Mr. Daniel treated me like he knew me for years. He checked my daughter car up and down. He repaired everything and more. Then he test drove it his self. I will be using him in the future for my daughter car at West Georgia. I highly recommend this shop.

Had ac compressor changed in 2000 ford taurus. They were great and worked with my schedule to make sure the repairs were completed in time for me to not miss work! Reasonably priced and worth it. Daniel, pretty sure thats his name, was very nice and knowledgeable. Thank you!
