I've been in the auto business for over 40 years. I've dealt with many business owners over the years and Mike is one of the most stand up guys in any walk of life. Years ago he stood behind a job that he did so far above what was fair I was blown away. Not only is he the type with good morals and character but he is flat out good at his trade. He is the last of a dying breed. What's even better is his son has the same character. So good business at Cherokee Transmissions will continue for awhile longer for sure.Service: Transmission

If you live in Cherokee County and you find yourself with transmission problems, there is simply no reason to go anywhere else. . I have nothing but good to say about the whole experience. Mike, in particular gave me a lot of confidence the way he communicated with me about my truck. He went above and beyond customer service. These guys were awesome! My husband's truck needed a new transmission, I ordered one that took forever to get delivered, but they didn't charge us any storage fees or anything. It's running like new now! Any transmission work we ever need will be done at Cherokee Transmission

I have used Cherokee Transmission in the past and have always had great service. Not only for transmission work but for just about everything automotive. Well this time Mike & Jeff helped me basically piece back together a classic car. It turned out amazing. They have so much knowledge! I would recommend them again and again as they have taken care of our family for years! J.M.

The most amazing people. They care about every person that brings there car to the shop. Jeff will do anything and everything he can to fix whatever is wrong! If you ever need a good mechanic this is definitely where you need to go. Love this business and the people that run it!

Stop in to get a engine code cleared so I can get my Emissions, the young guy didn't want to help so he told me he couldn't read a Land Rover. I asked why it's just a Ford Eco-Boost? He said that the electronic was different. I did oh okay but I know better I have done this for 35+ years just don't have access right now because of work. Hell even the parts store can read it they just can't clear the code because of liability issues. If they will lie about something do simple what else will they lie about?Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Thanks for the blessing of these guys! Unfortunately our fleet of pool trucks had 2 transmissions go out in the last two weeks. Fortunately, Cherokee Transmission got us back on the road in the most expedited manner possible! Knowledgable, honest, reasonably priced and friendly service. What more could one ask for. All of us at Merodynamic Pools highly recommend this establishment. Thanks again to all you guys that work there.

Very honest and extremely helpful in getting my cars issues figured out. Asked him to also get my oil changed and he let me know to go to another shop since the can get the oil cheaper and save me money. I will definitely be using them for any other problems my car has.

Had my transmission done here. 20,000 miles later it quit and Mike the owner was not willing to work with me so I hauled it to the dealership I do agree it was out of warranty by a few thousand miles but to pay $3000 and only get 20,000 miles. I'll never go back or refer anybody to him, he only cares about the money.

These guys just saved me $2,000. The other transmission place in town said I needed a whole new transmission. Father & son operated Cherokee Transmission test drove my car and said it was not the transmission, but rather the ignition and only a $500 repair! Thanks guys!

The guys at Cherokee tramsmission Are some of the nicest most helpful people you will ever meet they are willing to go out of there way to help In any way possible. Family owned and operated for many of years they know what there doing when it comes to fixing anything your having issues with. I didn't like the costumer service from there, I had a really bad time trying to get the guarantee from a transmission. i won't recommend it .
