Amazing! From the moment you call to the moment you receive your car back, the staff is super welcoming and friendly. It s the first time I have taken my car to this place for a car repair. I took my car in because it was making a loud noise when I would move the steering wheel. Mike explained to me in depth was wrong with it and guaranteed they could fix it and that is exactly what they did! I am super happy with the result of my car. Mike, Gil and Yaksi went above and beyond to make my experience here as nice as possible. I would 100% recommend the Canton AAMCO location!

We have taken our station wagon in to have the transmission replaced. Paid $5000 and had to take it back over 10 times and 8 months for transmission codes. We have had to take it back again. We were charged another $500 to fix a transmission code that part of the rebuild. My son just took his Jeep in for a flush and it sat for 11 days without anyone looking at it. When they finally look at it today to pick it up, they say there's metal in the transmission and can't flush it. Can't say we believe them. There was nothing wrong with his transmission. I will be getting a second opinion and never using their service again. Lawyers will be contacted.

They put a Transmission in my 2009 GMC truck . It went out on me Friday February 2nd. 2024. It was under Warranty. The truck was towed back to them. They had to wait until the people sent them a transmission to replace the one under warranty. Mike kept in constant contact with me about what was going on and when the transmission would possibly be replaced. He called me regularly. ( damn near everyday). My truck needed extra work done. He explained to me about the cost of the main seal having to be replaced and the cost. I asked him to replace the fly wheel. He called me and explained the cost for replacing the flywheel as well as the starter. Mind you I called him sometime. However I didn t have to . He promised me he was going to keep me updated on the repairs AND HE DID JUST THAT. I had the prevolidge of speaking to the owner and he was nice as well. He went over my file thoroughly and reexplained everything to me. All the knocks and clinks that was going on under my truck was all totally resulted and TRUST ME THEY RESPECTED ME , mMY TIME AND MY CONCERN AS TO WHEN MY TRUCK WOULD BE READY. I got to the shop and my truck was ready. I was short on the money I needed for the starter. Mike went in his pocket and paid the difference so that I could take my truck home. They did outstanding work on my truck. It rides smooth and quiet. I will recommend them above all shops. They kept their word on when my truck would be ready and it was ready a few days earlier. Yes Mike said Friday the 16th. It was ready in Wendsday the 14 th of February. I was extremely happy for the work they and the time frame in which they did it.

Poor communication. Four different times I was told it would be done on a certain day and on that day I would be told it would be a few more days. Not only that but I now have to put my bumper on myself due to the fact that they are severely understaffed( noted after they are the ones that bent the bumper in the first place). If communications were better and the work done was done on time it would be different. I will not be returning to this shop again. To much of a headacheService: Transmission

I went in thinking that I need some transmission work but Mike was very helpful, told me what he felt when drove it, instead of charging me transmit work he suggested I get a tune up and should get rid of the issue i had and it did. I would recommend AAMCO in Canton GA. if you have any transmission issues and ask for Mike he will shot you straight. Thanks Mike I really appreciate it.

NEVER GO HERE, 1st they pushed an old man to pay up front with LABOR. 2nd they told lies to everyone in the family. 3rd it has a warranty on the transmission and we have took it back 2 times with the same problem. They say they are certified for transmissions but they can t fix one . When we got it back they say on paper that the mass airflow sensor can cause transmission issues, but I don t think air to fuel ratio that goes in the engine, can mess up a transmission, but wait there is more the truck is a 1994 z71 350 it doesn t even have a mass airflow sensor witch is the best part. They don t know what they are doing and don t ever take anything to this shop.Service: Transmission

I am extremely happy with their services..........I had a check engine light in my truck which no one could ever fix.... Finally these guys fixed all the issues in the truck.... It has been an year now and the truck is doing great....they explained me the reason for frequest check engine light and provided a very good overview of how it can be fixed economically....very honest, transparent, and economical place....this is my to go place for all the trucks in my family!Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Terrible place! Do not go here for ANY car repair. The mechanics are unexperienced and the owner can barely speak English. Mike all he wants is your money and will tell you any lies just to get your money.My mother's car was there for 3 months!! We had it for 1 week and it started doing the same thing it was doing when we took it there the first place. We took it to another shop and found out that not all of the parts that go into a rebuild transmission were replaced!!! They just cleaned up and painted the original parts that we paid for to be replaced NEW.This place is a scam and I do not recommend!!Service: Transmission

This shop went above and beyond to help me solve the issue that I had. I had gone to 4 different shops before going to this one. Every shop told me something in order to make money out of me, and a lot of them were wild guesses. Guesses that would cost me around $300 dollars with a 20% chance of fixing the car. I finally by God's grace drove passed this shop and decided to go in. I talked to Mike and he had me come in. I ended up saving $900 + thanks to him. He had an idea on what the issue could be and ran a diagnostic for me. After the diagnostic, he knew exactly what it was and set an appointment with me. My experience with this shop was really smooth. I did not have all those bad feeling that I usually have when dealing with other mechanic shops.The workers in this shop made me feel at home, and explained everything that I needed to know before they did anything. I am glad that this shop, compared to others was not out to just make money off of me but to actually fix my issue and build a lasting relationship. I do not see myself taking my car to anyone else other than this specific AAMCO. I also want to thank Martin and Chris, these are two wonderful employees who are extremely experienced in there fields. I spoke to them with the issue that my car had and these employees did not make me feel stupid or like I was a burden. John is friendly and professional. He worked hard to get me the best deal on a transmission with warranty. I went back for an unrelated issue, and he was reassuring about what the problem was and whether I could wait to have it fixed (yes; it's safe to wait a bit), and told me what to look for. Fixed it up quickly and professionally when I did bring it in for repair. I got good service, and never once felt that condescending attitude that so many mechanics have when a woman brings in a car. He assumed me to be an intelligent person in my own right. I would recommend him to anyone.Service: Transmission

We were having problems with the transmission in our 07 Ford Edge. We took it to our trusted local mechanic who recommended we take it to Aamco transmission. They said we needed a new transmission and gave us a price on a rebuilt transmission. The price was very competitive(much better than the dealer) with a very good warranty. The work was done very quickly and no surprises on the quote. Clara kept us informed on the progress and the transmission has performed great so far. It has been a couple of months so we are very satisfied.

I don t really do this reviews but in this case is a plus. Mr mike is the best he is super helpful tries to help you with any issue you may have and solve it, I recommend him with my eyes close he communicated with me the time my car was in the shop and didn t take them long to get my car out i gotta say he solve the issues with transmission and now my car drives smoothly, once again Mr mike is the best.

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give. The people here are friendly, professional and very, very honest. I went there with the understanding it would cost a couple thousand dollars to fix my car and it ended up costing under 100. They are very honest and will definitely go back if needed.It is very hard to find someone to work on your car who are honest and reliable but you can best believe you can trust them 100%.

They seem to do good work but. . . It takes them forever to do it. I dropped it off on a Friday. At 5 they said they would call me with an estimate on Monday by 1230. On Tuesday, I called them and got 2 estimates, one for rebuilding the transmission, and on for replacing it. I decided to replace it. Their timeline was 2 days to get the transmission in and 2 days to do the work. 8 days later I called them to see if I could pick up my van. They had not started. They said it would be started that afternoon. I stopped by the next day. My van had not moved. I went in to ask about it --it would be started that afternoon. I called about it Friday afternoon (they had the van for 15 days at that point). They were have problems with the valve body. On Monday afternoon, I called. They were waiting on parts to fix my new transmission, it would be ready tomorrow. That went on for 2 days -- always it will be ready tomorrow. On Tuesday evening, I wrote a letter to AAmco national explaining the situation. On Wednesday, they were replacing the transmission with another one. The owner of the franchise went to pick it up so they didn't have to wait on shipping. I finally picked up my van on Friday, 3 weeks and a day after I dropped it off. During the time Aamco had the van, I received on phone call to let me know I caould pick it up. I never got a call letting me know it was going to take longer than expected. Since it took so long, they gave me 10% off the estimated price. Not enough in my book. Without the use of my dad's truck, I either could not work or I was renting a truck for $650+/week

Receptionist was very kind lady. The man took my car for a drive to try to figure out was wrong. Figured 30 lbs too much air in tire that was recently fixed at Sam s. I m so glad I did not ignore the instrument panel like I would normally do and I m so grateful this place was so convienjent. I may drive across town to give them my business I was so impressed.

What can I say, Mike was awesome to work with. Customer service is hard to come by these days and Mike hit it out of the park. I was extremely happy with the service I received at AAMCO in Canton After a transmission rebuild and a couple other repairs that they recommended, our 200K+ mile Explorer is running like a new truck now. They also made sure I brought it back in a couple weeks for a checkup to make sure everything was running good. Great service, great followup, great experience.

Took my 4Runner here to have my transmission worked on. They were nice respectful and not over priced. But when I got in my truck to leave my electric seats were broken. Someone left their moldy half a cup of coffe in there (not that big of a deal) but still. Then my abs was freaking out and trac control lights came on within the next day. I didn t ask them to fix it or even notify them of this. They may have fixed it if I asked but honestly I don t want them anywhere near my car again, which is why I didn t want them to fix it. Kinda odd things to break while working on the transmission. Again staff was friendly seemed pretty knowledgeable and didn t try to over charge me, but will not be returning.

These guys do an absolute fantastic job. John and the guys were very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend them and their customer service was nothing short of refreshing. 10/10 will be going back for any future car repairs.

This place is absolutely one of the worse displays of robbery and dishonesty I have ever been. Back in September I brought my vehicle in here for a misfire on a cylinder they charged me 4 hundred and something dollars to do I m not sure what because my receipt said Fluid and labor, did I mention I was there from 8-3, the mechanic came up front from the back to try to confused the life out of me talking mechanic lingo and in that chat mentioned they had NOT replaced any of the ignition coils which is specifically what i went in there for i was to the point of frustration and just wanted to leave, as I was leaving the vehicle was still doing the same thing it did when i brought it in there but this time was making a fun new noise to accompany the issue that was not resolved. After cooling off for a few weeks I decided to go back and see if they would right their wrong, I was assured they would by the manager Jon, when I took my vehicle back there it was another entirely different issue per the manager who was telling me the vehicles issues ranged from transmission being shot to engine issues, mind you this vehicles engine is under a year old. Finally I got smart and I decided to get my vehicle the heck out of dodge and took it to the Aamco in Woodstock where they actually pride themselves on honesty and not robbery. The owners were absolutely night and day different than the used car salesman Jon who thinks he could sell ice to an Eskimo. They advised me that the only issue my vehicle was having was my brakes needed to be replaced they found nothing wrong with my engine or my transmission . I cannot believe that 2 of the same company s a few miles apart with different owners could be so different . If you are looking for someone honest drive the extra couple miles to the Aamco In Woodstock and stay away from the nightmare that is cantons Aamco.
