This place is a true scam. The owner even brags about how he is lying and hiding stuff so his ex wife doesn t get anything in the divorce. Unprofessional is an understatement. He had his new girl hanging out at the shop multiple times when I stopped to check out my SUV. I told the owner I would be there in 3 days to pick up my vehicle he started screaming at me about not having 3 months and charging me a fee for it sitting on his lot. After he calmed down and realized I said 3days he then apologized saying he hears what he wants at times and he has the same issue at home why tell me all your personal issues keep personal problems to yourself. My SUV is still not fixed I had it towed back home from his shop. Now I need to find a better mechanic that can fix everything this shop couldn t plus the damage they did while it was there.I already expect the owner to write something rude back to me as he has to all his hardworking customers reviews. We are who pays him our hard earned money to keep his shop open to keep him paying his employees. He can t even be humble , kind or honest! Please take your engines elsewhere don t let this happen to you.

Do not use this shop! I'm in my 60's and live week to week. I paid this shop $2600 for nothing. I now have to take my car to another shop to have it done right. I should have read to reviews first. Please read all his reviews! Just look at the way he talks to the people who spend hard earned money at his company. Anyone can do a simple oil change and get a good review. All his big jobs all his engine work or big job reviews are horrible and he talks very disrespectful to his customers. When I pulled up to the front gate I hear him yell "who is this pulling up here now". It's a auto shop what does he expect. Don't waste your money or time.

We were driving a Corvette that I purchased in Florida back to Ohio and started having an issue with it in Georgia so I found this shop on Google and stopped in to see if they could help and they were awesome. They are a great, friendly people and had us back on the road in less than an hour. I am so glad we found them and highly recommend.

Zero absolutely do no recommend this company $3000 and my vehicle can't make it to the gas station. He said he would fix everything they messed up and he lied. The shop put used oil back in a new motor. Don't trust this shop. You don't mess with people's vehicles like that. Families could die driving around in unsafe automobiles. I was recommended by a friend who is now going through a similar situation with this company. This is exactly why no one trust auto mechanics anymore.

Absolutely wonderful people! We re from out of town and had our check engine light came on and threw our car into limp mode. The father and son duo were able to get us right in under 30 minutes and made us very comfortable right when we pulled in! Don t waste your time at another shop. So my AC suddenly stopped working and I was melting in this hot my truck was blowing fire hot air, auto parts and others didn't check the AC so I found this place near by on Google. As I got there, the guys came out ans assisted me right away asked what was wrong with and we're so quick to figure out the problem. It took him barely 10 mins to fix my AC and release pressure and told me all set good to go have a nice day and I was like how much do I owe you and he was said nothing it's all good. They won my respect, their attitude, customer service and professionalism was great and I glad to have found them plus they do everything tore change brakes engine like anything. I have posted some pics of the road too because I was a bit confused with GPS it made me turn to a landscaping but it was accurate I was just doubting it. It actually is right infront of the landscaping easy to find. If you have a car problem, please go to the first before going anywhere.

This is the 3rd vehicle I have brought to Josh. Primary fuel pump in a Duramax, timing chain in a Malibu, and not he s putting a motor into my Explorer.Quick turn around time and affordable. If you need a mechanic, call Simpson Reliable Automotive.

We run a mobile RV repair company and work with a lot of contractors and repair services. It s rare to find a quality, straightforward shop like Simpson. Josh is excellent and these guys run a tight shop. No nonsense and we appreciate that. We plan to bring our three vehicles here for everything possible. Thank you!

Incredibly helpful and responsive. When we broke down overnight nearby, they had the car ready in the morning and even delivered it to us at the hotel. Top notch people. Would highly recommend.

I am humbled by the kindness and customer obsession here. Car broke down at Buccees overnight driving from Miami to Chicago with my young family for the holiday. They prioritized us and had us back on the road in a couple of hours for what I thought was going to be a terminal issue. They had every opportunity to take advantage of my situation but offered a low price, transported me back to the hotel, dropped my car off and trusted I d come back to pay after loading my family into the car. The shop itself is no frills but don t judge the service quality based on that - it s a place for repairing cars and they do just that. The whole crew was fantastic. Not just honest mechanics, honest compassionate people. Then later that evening the owner called to check in and make sure everything was still going well with my vehicle. Who does that? Other perks: They have the sweetest shop dog you ll ever meet and they aren t too far from a Starbucks if you need to wait somewhere comfortable.

We were on a 24-hour roadtrip when we had a major issue with our wheel bearing. We stopped here and they stayed late to get it fixed for us. These guys went above and beyond, they were so friendly, and the work was exceptional. The best part is their greeter, Fat Boy, who is the best dog in town! Thanks for all your help, you really saved the day.(p.s. we made it to Tampa!)

The transmission went out in my infiniti and they quoted me a very reasonable price and had it fixed within a week for me. Honestly very well priced and very friendly staff. Will be taking all my vehicles here to be worked on. Thank you so much Simpson Reliable automotive yall did an amazing job.

I can honestly say that these guys Get the job done! They do an amazing job, very affordable, and don t waste no time getting your car back to you! I ve had my wife s car fixed twice and my truck and they ve all had it back with a quickness. I highly recommend them. Customer Service was definitely some of the best I ve seen in years!

I had a transmission failure out of nowhere and these guys took care of me better than any mechanic I ve ever used. They drove out to my car to inspect it so we could try and avoid using a wrecker, he s been extremely communicative about the process and what to expect for costs, and those costs have been much better than I would have expected considering the nature of the repair. He s also going to deliver my car to me all the way up in Chattanooga so he can properly road test the work he s done and ensure it s good to go. Just outstanding service in an industry that is plagued by bad experiences and poor communication. I could not recommend this shop more highly.

Simpson Reliable Automotive are life savers. I had took my car to a different shop and when I got it back it was loud. So I took it to Simpson and immediately they noticed the problem with the exhaust system and said that could have caught fire so they immediately fixed it no questions asked and did an oil change. I was in and out of there and now my car is quiet again and rides smooth. They are definitely very friendly and know what their doing. I definitely recommend Simpson Reliable Automotive in Calhoun Ga!

Fabulous service with southern hospitality helped me get through a very bad situation. I was driving from Illinois to Florida by myself. I was an hour into my second day of my drive, and several red warning lights popped on, and then I started to overheat. I pulled off the highway. I did a Google search and I found Simpson Reliable auto service. My lucky day!!! AAA tow was going to take 4 hours to get to me. Josh knew a tow truck driver. He called him and the tow truck was there in 20 minutes. They got my car on the lift immediately. They diagnosed the problem, showed me the bad parts, found replacement parts and drove to Atlanta to get the new parts! They dropped me off at a hotel, they did the work, fixed my car, and then brought my car to me at the hotel. From my first call to them, to delivering my car, it was only 8 hours. I am incredibly grateful to have found them. I highly recommend this place. Especially in an emergency!! Thank you to Josh, William and the rest of your team for rescuing this damsel in distress!! Forever grateful!!

Josh was great to work with, very knowledgeable, and so that you are satisfied and know the exact service you re getting, Josh goes the extra mile by taking pictures/ videos and keeping you updated throughout the entire process. He said he could rebuild the motor in my 84 chevy s10, so I drove it to his shop, it was just smoking real bad burning oil. I would go to his shop to check on my s10 often, and every time he needed something I would give him the money to buy the part. I gave him about $3000. The last three weeks it was there it sat outside and they never touched it again. Drove it to his shop and four months later I had to tow it home.and i had to take it to a different mechanic.

Long-ish review, but I'll get to the point in a minute.My wife and I had headed down to the Atlanta area from Tennessee on a Friday for me to buy a newer truck. The truck we went to see was in rougher shape than I was led to believe, so I began searching for more trucks around the area. We found one in Iva, SC...which was about 90 minutes from where we were at the time. We drove up there and bought the truck. We wanted to go back to Acworth, GA to eat at our favorite pizza place, stay at a hotel and go back home on Sunday morning. On the interstate headed back to Acworth, the truck began to squeal. I drove it on to the hotel and investigated once I was there. I determined it was likely the tensioner pulley for the serpentine belt.Late Sunday morning, we headed north for home, but 30-40 minutes into it, the truck started making that horrible squealing again. I didn't want to risk further damage by having the belt slip off or the pulley disintegrate, so I picked up the phone and asked Google to "show me auto mechanics near me that are open today."Simpson Reliable Automotive showed up and I called the number. The guy answered and I told him what I suspected was up. He checked parts availability with me on the phone and said he could do it right away since I was traveling. I hung up with him and called my wife in the car behind me to let her know the plan. It was the very next exit where we got off and the shop is like 2 miles from the interstate.We got there and the shop owner had already sent a runner to get my parts (tensioner pulley and a new serpentine belt). We chatted for a while and then my wife and I left because she wanted to do some shopping while the truck was being repaired.About an hour and 20 minutes later, I got a text saying the truck was ready and noise-free. We checked out and went back to pick up the truck. Sure enough, it was running and quiet the entire trip home, which was another 2+ hours on the interstate.No, the shop isn't the cleanest. They fix cars there, not cater to bougie women....but the people running it and working there are very friendly, knowledgeable and quick. And they're open on Sundays!!If you're ever in the area and need car repair, or if you live in the area, don't hesitate to give these guys a call. They'll treat you right!

Wow. absolutely terrible service. I bought a van back in April that broke down on my way back up north. Josh quoted me $3,000 and 3 weeks to replace the engine. In the past SEVEN MONTHS he s had multiple deaths, had to get a new phone several times, and even had me buy tickets out to georgia when it wasn t ready.My boyfriend ultimately went out to his shop and Josh had done nothing on the van and refused to do anything until my boyfriend threatened to call the police. Ultimately, he fixed the van by putting in another broken engine and stating that it s not driveable. Waste of time and waste of money. I cannot recommend against this shop enough. It s scammy, shady, and their work is not honest.DO NOT GO HERE. Save your money and go anywhere else.ETA: gas was never put in the engine. He completely destroyed my van and it needs major repairs.Since getting the van back from Josh I ve had 4 mechanics state how poorly done the job was. A man threatening legal action for every bad review is very telling. Just be careful guys.

Just had my 04 Honda Odyssey fixed and it was the most comfortable, reliable, and friendly experience I've ever had going to a mechanic. I'm very happy with the service my husband and I were given. Highly recommend.

Josh and his team are incredible. Our car broke down near his shop on the Sunday after thanksgiving and he was the only shop nearby who was open and ready to help. He was responsive, prompt, and professional. We are so thankful for them!

Fantastic service! We hit something on the interstate otw to Nashville and it leaked all the trans fluid out. I called here and he was at the shell station in 15 minutes to inspect my car! Nicest and most helpful mechanic I ve ever met. Had me towed to his place and on the road in a couple of hours on a Saturday!! Thank you so much for making a bad situation so much better. We were driving from Michigan to Florida and started hearing what sounded like gravel hitting the under carriage. When we stopped we saw our serpentine belt was shredding and out of an inch wide had less than 1/4 inch left and had wrapped some around the fan. We stopped at an auto parts store and then came to Simpson s, they took apart the top portion of the engine bay to get to the pulleys for the belt (we had the wrong belt) and William took us back to the parts store to seal it out for the correct one. All of the guys were extremely kind, friendly and knowledgeable. If we ever have issues in this area again, I know where I m going.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance

Such an amazing place! I was having tire problems driving back to TN and needed help before getting back on the highway. Considering I just showed up with no appointment or calling first, not only were they so quick (under an hour), they were very kind and as a young female not knowing much about cars they helped me understand what was happening and made me feel reassured before getting back on the road. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Bad service. Had husbands truck for 8 months and still didn t get it done. Last time he checked in on the truck my husband was told it s too cold to work on it. Very unprofessional. Personal item was stollen from truck, seats were returned dirty. They do not respect others property. Very unpleasant experience. Do not recommend.

I have meant to write this review so many times, but realize that it's been several weeks since we visited this amazing shop, and I'm still so appreciative of all they did. We were on our way to West Virginia on one of the hottest days of the summer, when we heard a loud BANG and the a/c was gone! We looked online and found Simpson's Reliable Automotive. It was late afternoon and the thought of any shop taking us on the fly was unimaginable. But, Josh said, "Bring it over!" When we got there, his team all came up to the car and started diagnosing. Our dog was panting uncontrollably, so Josh immediately took action and had us sit in the cool air of his lounge. The repair only took a couple of hours, and Josh's team did a PHENOMENAL job! It's been over a month, and the a/c still blows cool as a cucumber. The best part, is how reasonable Josh was with the pricing, even though it was an emergency situation.I wholeheartedly recommend this amazing team for all of your auto repair needs. The team is absolutely stellar, and we are forever thankful!Service: Air conditioning
