Wes and his team are absolutely awesome! Viking Automotive is a super nice, well kept facility, and the service and knowledge at this shop is amazing. Customer service here is a priority and they stand by their work. I have taken multiple vehicles to this shop and they have always treated me with respect and all vehicle issued were addressed and repaired. It has been a great pleasure to bring my business to a place that truly cares and is honest. If you ever need your vehicle repaired I highly recommend Viking Automotive!

I will definitely be coming back to see Wes and his team if I need work more done. They were very helpful and I felt like I was in very hands for their diagnosis. My service needs were covered under Honda's warranty so I'm having to take my car there, but I appreciated the time Viking took to give me my best options for repair and didn't even charge me for this trouble. I highly recommend them for their customer service alone, especially when I was feeling stressed about my car troubles. Thank you Wes and team!

I have brought my car to Viking Automotive Repair more than once. They are knowledgeable people who cared about doing a good job on my 2004 Corvette.Recently I brought the car to them, dropped it off at 8 am Monday morning and picked the car up at 6 pm, same day.The job entailed the removal of the differential, transmission, and torque tube, because the transmission is in the rear of the car on the C5 Corvette. Plus a few other components had to be undone and reinstalled. Fluids like transmission and gear oil had to be refilled. Then a 4 wheel alignment to finish off a job done right. All completed without issue in 1 day.The first time I brought them the car they happily installed a cat back exhaust system and brand new Bilstein shocks and new upgraded sway bar links. In addition I brought a 3.15 gear ratio differential to replace a broken 3.73 gear ratio differential.A tune was also done on the car because of the addition of a cat back exhaust and cold air intake and different gear ratio differential using HP tuners software.I would take my 2004 Corvette to them again for any major repairs or custom upgrades.

First visit: Superb, extra-mile service on a front-end alignment for an older car. It did cost $350 but they weren't happy until it was right. It's taken over a year to find s shop that I thought I can trust. Well....Second visit: Took my wife's Mazda in for belts, they did a fuel system clean out which was hidden under a 90K service. Picking it up they were amazed at the smoke the M3 created. Long story short, their work burnt out the catalytic convertors and it cost me another $950. The car had around 97,000 miles. The Mazda dealer, where I had to pickup the new manifold/catalytic convertor said never do a fuel system cleanout. Other shops agreed. Viking never took responsibility by covering the damage. Today, 2/4/24, after watching oil being siphoned out of the M3 at a Valvoline shop, I learned Viking put 6 quarts of oil in a motor needing 4.5 quarts. I'm lucky that didn't damage anything and I'm lucky I'll never go back.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Stay away from Viking automotive if you're looking for smart experienced mechanics. I brought my car here for a simple 4-wheel alignment on January 18th, 2023. They notified me I had a loose wheel bearing and they would regrease and tighten it for $100. However, they failed to follow the factory tighten spec and over-tightened both of my wheel bearings. My driver-side outer wheel bearing failed a few days later luckily I was close to the shop and had them replace the bearing and tighten it to proper spec, I also informed the tech to check the passager side wheel bearing and correct it. And by no surprise, they did not adjust the passenger bearing. A few days later go by the passenger side inner and outer wheel bearings failed while I was doing 80mph on the highway which put me in a near accident/death experience. I brought the car back to them to let them fix what they damaged. They replace my passager side spindle and wheel bearing. In this process, they managed to damage the rear seal and the reflector ring inside of it causing the abs sensor to not work. This also caused traction control to stay off. As he is very well aware of the dangerous situation he leaves my car in he sends me to drive it home telling me he's ordering a new hub (Feb 10) Another week goes by he finally gets the new hub in. Improper installation AGAIN of the rear seal which allowed for it to grind on the brake dust cover with clear deep markings and destroyed the seal and the reluctor ring inside which the abs sensor reads. leaving me without abs and traction control. This final time he tells me he s ordering 2 new hubs another 5 days go by (Feb 21) he tells me they have come in but he doesn t have time for me for another week. Another week goes by and he had no audacity to call me in to fix my car (march 2). At this point, it's been over a month and 3 failed wheel bearings. All I came in for was an alignment. If they can't do a simple wheel bearing what else can you trust them with? If you don t want your car going through this mess of a shop stay away and go to a more reputable shop. They have good equipment with the wrong people behind it. And a mess of a shop needs some organization skills. Seems like they are far too busy to fix what they damaged. So I don't know why you would waste your time here. Few other good shops around. I was recommended by a friend but after he witnessed what happened to my car he will not take his car to them anymore. So if you took your time to read this don't be silly and go somewhere else. Conclusion: I purchased 2 oem wheel bearings and installed them myself to manufacture specs and replaced the driver-side spindle that was damaged that he did not want to replace. No more abs light and everything is smooth as butter. Hope I save someone from wasting money with them.Service: Wheel alignment
