Hello, my name is Daniel, on Saturday I went to this place for an alignment, but I told them that the car was making a noise when the steering wheel was turning, the person who attended me heard the noise and told me that they were going to check it why It sounded ugly, after checking it they told me that the steering rack was destroyed and they had to change the CV axle, I told them how much the fix would cost and they told me 900 for the steering rack, 400 for the CV axle and 100 for the alignment, then 1400. dollars plus taxes.Today, Monday, April 8, 2024, I left my car early so they could fix it hours later. They called me saying that my car was ready. I went over to pay the manager. I asked him if everything was okay. If they had noticed anything else, they told me it was okay. all that they had not noticed anything wrong, the car was fine, I finished paying, I put my little daughters in the car and it turns out that I moved the car in reverse, the same sound was heard that it made when I left it, I drove the car through the parking lot, It sounded and felt the same. I am disappointed because I spent more than 1,400 dollars to fix that sound and it turns out that the car continues the same no matter how I drive it.I went back into the store to talk to the manager, and he told me that when he tested the car he hadn't heard anything that sounded good, that I should come back tomorrow so they could check it, now I don't know if they tricked me or they really don't know how to do their job. job.I trusted them to fix my car and it turns out it's still the same. Tomorrow I will be there first thing in the morning to solve the problem, in the meantime I am still disappointed in that place and I am not going to stop until they solve the problem for what I already paid.

I just moved to the Buford area and was looking for a good place to get my oil change done on my car. I took it to Mavis and was extremely happy with the work they did. Chase was wonderful! Very friendly and very knowledgeable. My husband and I will definitely be bringing both our cars here in the future!

I recently went to this location for my oil change and I m very satisfied with the way Mavis runs their business. Chase was the mechanic who worked on my vehicle and he did a fantastic job. Great customer service and had me out in 30 minutes. I will be returning to this location for future maintenance.

The customer service at this location is A-1. Not only did Kyle wait for me to arrive after I called to say that I was 4 miles away but he was patient and kind upon my arrival and ready to assist me. He took great care of my tire need and went above and beyond to ensure that I was safe to continue my drive. My tire emergency was for my company s fleet vehicle but I can guarantee that I will return for my personal vehicle needs in the future. Thank you Kyle and Mavis!

Changed my ranking from 5 to 1 and here's why... I went in on a Monday for a slow air leak in my tire. They took my car in and 30 mins later was done. Awesome, right? The manager told me they found a razor lodged in my tire. Paid $40 for the repair and drove home, about 5 miles away. Well, woke up the next morning to leave and the tire was flat. Called Mavis and they said bring it back. Now back at Mavis, a rep rolls the tire out to me, after examination, and says "we found a razor in your tire." I said "really, you found the same razor yesterday." Now he tries to locate yesterday's patch job and pointed to a spot in my tire that looked nothing like a patch job. Then he told me he couldn't repair the tire! It was a simple razor, half inch, stuck in the tire. I told them to put the tire back and I left. Drove to Discount Tire and they fixed it, for FREE. I will never go to Mavis again. Very shady, very disappointing.

I love using this Mavis on Buford Dr. Picked up a project trailer they were able to check my tires and order new tires for me. Tyler is the man if you need help with anything.

We have a large Sprinter RV, and it is often difficult to find a service location that can work on brakes, tires, and oil changes. Kyle and the team here did a fantastic job today checking on my brakes.They are honest and fair in their dealings with customers. We will be back when we need more services on our RV.Thanks, Kyle and team!!!!

I just got home from a road trip and picked up a nail in one of my tires. I pulled in to Mavis and they got us all patched up! We ve taken all 3 of our vehicles there and they ve always taken great care of us. Chase has especially gone above and beyond for us! We ll be back, but hopefully not anytime soon!

I highly recommend the service provided at this Mavis location. I interacted with Steve & Chase. Chase showed me the old part & why it absolutely needed replaced. I had brakes, rotors & shocks replaced on a car. They were extremely courteous and didn't "mansplain" the work to me but treated me with respect and kindness. I let the issue get pretty bad but they didn't reduce my ignorance into a joke but gave tips on what to look for next time. It's never fun spending a lot of money on maintenance but I feel confident that I will be safe for another 100,000 miles.

I had previously had 5 stars as my review for this place but that was back when it was NTB. Even up to last year, I had great service here. But I won t ever return after this last two trips.I first went in January for my brakes to be inspected since the car was shaking horribly when braking. I was also there for a tire rotation and oil change. They had a new guy working the counter and he was very apologetic about the wait and not knowing what he was doing which is completely fine. I work in retail so I totally understand being new. He had to wait for help from his trainer who was on the phone taking a personal call in the waiting area. This man was condescending to not only the young man he was training but also to a young woman who was cleaning the shop. Then he tells me that they were able to change my oil and do a tire rotation but my brakes looked fine. I reminded him of the shaking and he said it was probably the rotors but they didn t have a mechanic to work on them. So I came back later, about a week and a half, paid $500+ for my rotors to be fixed. I m told by a different guy at the counter that the car runs much better. It did not. It shook terribly. Maybe worse than before.So I took my car to the dealership because if they couldn t figure it out, then no one can. I told them the brake pads and rotors on had just been worked on/replaced. They came back and said everything looked great but the rotors needed to be machined. I get the car back within two hours and it runs smooth like butter. I am beyond annoyed that I went to Mavis in January for this problem and again in February and they were not able to fix it. All together, I spent around $700-$800 at just Mavis and they couldn t get it fixed. I won t be returning again as this place is a joke. I do all of my maintenance there, even buy new tires from them but will be going to the dealership instead.

The service in which I experienced was top notch. Everyone was friendly knowledgeable and the work was done in a timely manner. I now have a go to for help and that is the Mavis in Buford.

This location is truly the best. The manager Steve truly values customer service and delivers some of the very best. They will make sure things are done correctly the first time and that your expectations are met. So happy to have found this Mavis with such honest associates.

Have always used Mavis for tires & oil change. Went in today because I ran over construction debris that fell from a truck on the hwy. & there was something broken on the undercarriage of my car.Steve was not only able to identify the problem was actually a piece of plastic guard that broke off from my car, but was able to repair it quickly. Not only did it with a smile, but did not charge for the repair.Never have an issue with Mavis, great start to the New Year!

Went in @1215p, didn't get tires installed, til after 4. I left at 420p. Decent service, gave me a reduced price for wait but it was a while for just two tires.

I rolled in early AM after changing my tire out in 7 degree weather 01/17/24. Chase took care of the issue on my blowout ( bad valve stem ) no charge, had me back on the road and back to work ASAP. Great crew!!!

I called multiple places to see about getting a tire patched, including other Mavis locations. Everyone told me I wouldn t be able to get in until the following day, soonest. I walked right into this location just hoping they could help me out and they did. Eddie was so kind and attentive and took my tire in for service immediately, even being as short staffed as they were. So appreciated. Thank you!

I give this 1 star because there is no 0. My husband had an appointment and arrived within the time window and still waited 4 hours to replace 4 tires. They broke 2 of his sensors and told him one was already broken and had him pay for it. The waiting area is uncomfortable with metal chairs for people to sit on for hours. I m very unhappy with the service, wait and incompetence of the staff.

They fixed up my 2012 Toyota tundra on Sunday and got her new alternators and tires within 1 day, they were able to get me back on the road so I wouldn t have to reschedule or miss any work I already had scheduled months ago.

Stopped in this morning due to slow leak in tire. My vehicle was serviced immediately and found root cause to be nail in tire. Mike and his team patched it up and I was on the road again. My service experience was excellent.

I ran over a curve and needed a new tire. Mavis Tires & Brakes did a great job of putting on a new tire. They had the tire in stock, were reasonable and fast. I was even able to do work at their work station while waiting for the tire to be replaces. Would definitely recommend. Ed R.

I had a on going issue with my Alingment on my car. I first went to the Mavis on 1920Buford Mill and they robbed me of my parts that I brought and my money. They never did the alignment and they supposedly checked it several times. So I called another Mavis in which Steve answered and got me right! He told me nothing was wrong with my car to the point where I couldn t get an alignment.
