Kept my new 2023 Santa Cruz truck for three months after it experienced engine failure at 19k miles without providing a loaner. Rude on the phone to myself and my family. Technician scratched up my paint to the metal with his belt buckle. Told me I d need to wait until everything was done to obtain help to pay for a rental car for that period of time, which ran me into the ground financially at $419 a week. Disgusting experience overall.

We purchased a new car from you at the end of December. Once we signed the papers, we were completely ignored. The salesperson didn t even show us the features of the car. When we got home, we noticed that the roof rail was damaged and there was a crack in the front passenger window. We went back the next day to show this to them and they stated that we probably did this, but they would cover the damage. We got the window done right away but the rail has been a nightmare. First, they got the wrong part and had to reorder it. We were never contacted as to the status, we always had to go to the dealership to find out what was going on. When it finally came in, we set up an appointment to get it replaced. We waited in the waiting room for over two hours before they finally said that it had to be sent out to get painted. Checked on part again a couple of weeks later and found the part sitting in the salesman's office and the rail was painted the wrong color. We took the rail ourselves over to get it painted and they installed it for us. This is now the end of March. We have bought a new car every 2-4 years for the last 40 years and have never been treated this unprofessionally. I would never buy another vehicle from this establishment.

My car has been here for a recall since November last year. No one seem to know the time frame in fixing the ABS Brake system on my vehicle. I've been calling back to back and left countless messages to their advisor and manager who still hasn't Contacted me back. By far the worst experience I've ever had to deal with. To put the nail on the coffin they won't even give a loaner vehicle to ensure transportation. A joke

They are truly a ripoff. Military, veterans and senior citizens do not patronize this business. They are scam artists and you better not let them run your credit because they will continue to do it without your permission. Going through disputes currently because of this company. All they do is apologize they are so full of it..WARNING STAY AWAY

I am appalled by the service. Not only did I have to call every time I wanted an update I was greeted with only attitude by Melissa. My car was at this dealership for a year. I kind of understand that and was very forgiving to that fact. Melissa told me she would call when the car was in the shop to give me a heads up and I never received at call. Then a week later after she told me she would let me know, I get a call that It was done. Completely in shock because the last two times I called it had 2 cars in front. Then to be told that we needed to pay $430 for a battery. I have never spent so much on a battery. That should ve been paid for by the dealership for the reason that it was there for a year. That s not even the worst part we finally got to our car to see paint damage on the whole back spoiler. I went inside to ask what could be done and I was basically treated like I was incompetent. This happened under the care of the dealership. The last problem is that one of our tires can not hold air for more than a day. These are all things that should have been fixed considering the engine blowing was a warranty issue. I am distraught at how I was treated and the fact that a car we owned for a month before the engine blew now has so many expensive repairs.

I just bought a car from this dealership. It was an amazing experience from start to finish.Shanda was amazing great personality went the extra mile to get me exactly what I wanted. I came in from Savannah so I was very grateful of the care for my time and I was in and out very quickly.I can t say enough good things. I would definitely recommend buying a car from this dealership. And if you do make sure to ask for Shanda.

Hyundai Brunswick definitely made my dreams come true. Thankfully they were getting the vehicle I wanted in and agreed to reserve it for me. Once I finally got in Shanda Williams helped me through the whole process, she was so pleasant and fun to work with!! Big shout out to the entire team that was there!

Very unprofessional service dept. Called ahead to schedule an appointment. Arrived to drop off my Hyundai Sonata. I had to give my information to 3 different people before finally getting to Michelle Murks who started to check in my vehicle. Michelle was very dismissive and you could tell she was already in a bad mood. She didn't fully listen to our explanation of what was wrong with the car, she instead jumped straight to telling us that it probably isn't covered by the warranty and that they do not accept all warranties. She started to look up our warranty information and became agitated that we didn't have our entire policy memorized by heart. We have had our vehicle serviced there before, so they should have all of our information on file. Instead of being helpful and looking up our warranty, Michelle accused us of being too negative and said we should take our car somewhere else to get serviced. When we objected, she became very confrontational and used profanity while storming off. The service manager came over and refused to help as well. Instead of finding out the issue, he instead told us to leave and that we would not be welcome at that dealership ever again.I understand that people have rough days and are in bad moods, but there is no excuse for taking it out on customers. You could tell from how Michelle refused to check-in our car and how quickly the service manager jumped to her aid, that confrontations with upset customers is something they deal with often. The customer is not always right, but there is no reason to be so rude and dismissive just because you don't want to take the time to help people. It is apparent that this service department devotes more time on how to quickly get rid of customers who question the poor service they are receiving rather than focusing on how to provide the best service possible.

After months of having hyundai dealers call me and try to talk me into something I don t want, Shanda changed the game and got me the EXACT car I wanted sent to the lot with NO DEPOSIT! Could not ask for a more hassle free experience :)

DO NOT GO HERE TO SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE. My salesperson Shanda was amazing. She was the best thing about purchasing here. Unfortunately her service department doesn't support her effort. DO NOT GO HERE TO SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE. The service staff was nasty and rude. The person who TRIED to replace a part on my vehicle damaged it further and the service woman had the audacity to blame me for their mistake.

Great experience at Step One Hyundai Brunswick. I love value and in this market it is very hard to find. I needed a car for my new driving teenager that would be safe, stylish, reasonably priced and low maintenance. Thanks to the great efforts of David, Ashley, and Megan, I was able to come to the decision that a new Elantra was the best choice.Thank goodness that this dealership is not adding extra mark ups to MSRP. (Most are adding 2 to 4 thousand) Used cars are even higher.I had a very nice experience and they did what they said the would. David even took time out of his day to get me home with the new car so I could surprise my teen!I'll definately shop there again.

I tried to make a service appointment for a safety recall on my vehicle. It is impossible though, since they keep putting me on speaker phone (I asked them not to). I am hearing impaired and can t understand them. I am going to wait for the service appointment in Savannah instead, even though they have a longer wait.

I took my 2020 Hyundai sonata hybrid to 2 different Hyundai locations. One under warranty and the other 6000 miles out of warranty. The same issue I described the first time was found the second time and Hyundai denied the warranty claim. Not to mention they had my vehicle for over a month. I will be seeking legal action.

I purchased a vehicle entirely from home and was able to have it delivered by the dealership. The sale was very prompt and generally painless. I haven't heard a word from the dealership after delivery and sale to check in and make sure everything has processed and going well, which is disappointing. The reason for 5 stars is due to delivery man named Matt. He drove 2 hours to deliver after dealership was closed and was followed by his wife and baby to pick him up. I had not idea what an inconvenience this was for him, but he was so happy to help. That is wonderful dedication for customer service. I feel so grateful for their time. He even followed up with extra key fab and a replacement windshield wiper. That is definitely going above and beyond. Happy with the purchase of my car so far!!

Stopped in for an emergency traveling home from Florida to Michigan with an issue due to key fob that locked the security system from being able to start the car. Although the advisor and tech were swamped for the day and only two hours before close they set things aside to assist and figure out the problem for us.Was able to fix the issue and get us back on the road instead of being stranded for a day or more and having to stay in a hotel.Both had patience and understanding for our emergency and willingness to do what they could in such a dire situation. Very appreciative for the prompt service.

EDIT...Now waiting until they can program the key. STAY AWAYDO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!Promised me a second key on Tuesday when I brought the money for the extended warranty, handed them $31000 and NOW NO KEY EXISTS AND THEY REFUSE TO GET ONE MADE. ABSOLUTE TRASH!!Will update COB Friday. Up to them as to the final rating.Spoke to Ann at customer service. Will wait for reply to update

Their service department ran my 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe completely out of gas and told me to bring a gas tank when I came to pick it up. Unbelievable. It had gas in it when I dropped it off. To top things off, they didn't even fix the problem. When I complained, they told me they wouldn't service my car now and I had to take it somewhere else.

After struggling for years with my local Hyundai dealership in Savannah, I decided to bite the bullet and drive 77 miles to Hyundai Brunswick. I don't even think there are words to express how positive the experience was for me. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and vastly different from other dealerships. The cleanliness of the facility also added to my delight. The issue with my car was identified and repaired in short order.I can't end this review without raving about my service advisor, Michelle Mukes. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and will forever be my "Go to person". She is a tremendously valuable asset at this location.To summarize my experience, I will not hesitate to drive an hour and 20 minutes for this high level of service. Kudos to everyone at this agency.

I brought my vehicle to the dealership for service and to replace a tire and swap out a rim on a 2021 Elantra. We bought the car from this dealership brand new. We started having problem with the backup camera after 21 months of owning the vehicle and 28k miles. The service department wants to blame this voids the warranty because we had a - certified shop install a sub woofer on the car. Everything we brought to their attention their excuse was it voided the warranty. Need to take tint of the window etc. now I will remind you the car worked perfect for the first 21 months. The tint and subwoofer were installed within 2 weeks of owning the vehicle. There are know backup camera issues with 2021 models. I explained to the clerk that I would like to speak to the service manager. The guy came out and said call Hyundai we will not get reimbursement for a warranty repair since you have a sub woofer connected. I said I would call and talk with them, while waiting to get my keys back a service woman in uniform came in to pickup her vehicle and was told by the same lady I delt with it s not ready and won t probably be tomorrow either. The lady said the vehicle was schedule to have work done today and would get it back today. After a pause I said to the service woman in uniform , the best bet is find another dealership this one is lacking in customer service and doesn t want to fix or help the customer . The clerk said you can t talk about the dealership, said I m getting the manager. The service manager comes out hands me my keys and tells me to leave. I m like I need to pay for the he tire balance and alignment and he said you need to leave now. Both the woman in uniform and myself were shocked. I have bought 4 new vehicles in 7 years from this dealership and will not buy anything else and make sure to let people know how people are treated. It s not hard to be courteous to your customers especially the service manager.

My SUV was there for a year before I got it back. I had to pay people to take me and my mom. To Doctor visits. I had to pay people to take me to work. This was so hard on me. The money that I had saved is all gone.

Not sure how they can keep your car for 2 weeks over a air condition issue covered by warranty. They said they couldn't work on the car until my boyfriend bought a new tire so they could run a test on his ac? Seems sketchy to me. We live a hour away and have already brought our car in here 3 other times. The lady on the phone is extremely rude and doesn't seem to understand why a customer would be upset they're car took 2 weeks to fix and they hadn't even started in it after 2 weeks. Don't buy a car with a warranty here they have no idea how to fix the simpilist issues. We unstand that there are safety concerns with driving the tire to do a test in the ac. What we don't understand is how it's been a week since we gave permission for a new tire and today we got a call saying they were just being ordered. Whe. Asked why it wasn't already ordered he was told that the person he had spoke to was sick, he continued to ask do you not have more than one person to order tires? And that he really needed his car as it's been 2 weeks. To which the lady on the phone told him I'm a rude tone that he could come get his car today. To be clear our issue was not the tire as much as it is the way the customer service acted when he expressed concerns of needing his car and asked questions that any customer would.

Hyundia of Brunswick service department is a joke!!! Factory engine replacement and then it runs hot and they want you to pay to have it towed up there after you ve made the payments and pays sir a rental for 10 months while it sat there because they re understaffed!! They have no loaners . But I bet they got to work just today with no problems to their vehicles . How about you do your job in the 10 months it say there and this wouldn t have happened!!!! And don t expect a call back from them EVER!!!!

Great experience from the time I drove up to the dealership. John Inman greeted me, walked through each of the cars I was looking at, facilitated the signing process and replied promptly to each post-purchase query.Management worked with me to close the deal.I always felt welcome and appreciated.....a model for others.

Had a great experience with these guys. Worked with me and found a solution to fit in my budget. As a first time buyer I can t begin to explain how helpful they were in explaining everything in clear cut detail.Came into the dealership a year later to trade in the initial vehicle I purchase. Shanda was hands down one of the best sales people I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to. The trade in process went smooth as ever, and walked out a couple hours later with a brand new car. No markups, no dealer add-ons, just how I wanted it. I will not hesitate to buy another car from here.

Had warranty work needed. It was just a software update. The wait time was estimated to be 4 hours despite having an appointment. If possible choose another shop to work on your car.

I DEFINITELY recommend everyone at least stopping by this dealership and giving it a chance and I especially recommend asking for Brandon as a salesman. Buying a car is never easy or fun, but of the experiences I've had with dealerships, this was definitely the best.First and foremost, I was already leaning towards doing business with them after working with Brandon and not getting the first slimy car salesman feeling. He genuinely comes across as honest, patient and lets YOU talk. I never got a pushy feeling and never felt like a game was being played.The process itself takes a while, as it does with buying a car anywhere, but they were all straight forward and it was pretty simple. I do wish we had been offered a bit more for our trade in but it was at least pretty fair and I didn't fight much anyway so I can't really complain much there. Besides, the used vehicle we bought was already a great deal.But here's what really made me NEED to post a gushing review: Just under a week after buying it, one of the tires sprung a leak which is not covered in my otherwise comprehensive warranty. But given how recently I purchased it, Brandon worked with the service team (or whoever) and they absolutely took care of us in a surprising way and for free. It just needed a patch but they went above and beyond to help facilitate my family's schedule when they did not have any sort of requirement to do so.So definitely check them out! I can't speak for other salespeople there (everyone seemed friendly), but definitely enjoyed Brandon and the process overall.

I had a great experience buying a new car at Step One Hyundai Brunswick. They were very responsive and professional during the entire process. I was able to work with them to find the vehicle I wanted. It made what could have been a very painful process extremely easy for me (even though I was from Florida). I really appreciate how well I was treated the entire time. Highly recommended.
