As a 50 years plus motorcycle rider, and former motorcycle shop owner, I can assure you that if you are looking for the best Harley Davidson repair shop in South East Georgia, Southern Thunder is the place to go. If I could give six stars, I would. Very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and trust worthy.

I was looking for a local bike shop to put new tires on my husband's bike because we prefer to support local businesses. I'm so glad I found this place. Less than 24-hour turnaround time, super nice folks, Fair pricing. We're new to this area and I'm glad we found our go-to guy for our bike. Stay away from Harley-Davidson for your motorcycle Maintenance needs and support local!

Brandon has always taken good care of my Harley. He's a great mechanic, and is very honest, and upfront. His wife is a very nice person as well. Always a good experience doing business with them at Southern Thunder.

Broke down on 95 at exit 57, with front brake issue, called Southern Thunder and Brandon not only hooked us up with the tow truck driver but when we asked what his hours were he said he how ever long it took to get us back on the road he'd be there. Fixed and back on the road within an hour! Amazing to still be able to find an honest & friendly motorcycle mechanic that really knows what he's doing with very reasonable rates. As a first time Harley buyer, I had a lot of questions about exhausts and other performance upgrades, parts and compatibility, etc., that I needed a professional to answer. Brandon, at Southern Thunder in Brunswick, GA, was exactly what I needed! He took the time to return my call and answer the laundry list of questions I had to ask. I then, without making an appointment (walk-ins are welcome), dropped in on his shop when in the area on the off-chance I d be able to meet him and ask him some more questions. He was there working on a bike and stopped what he was doing to again, answer all of my questions, and he also provided me with in-depth explanations and recommendations as to which parts I should go with, and why. He is a subject matter expert, extremely knowledgeable, not at all pushy (he didn t try at all to up-sell me on anything I didn t need), and most importantly, very very patient. I believe, in fact I know, that most people would have become frustrated with dealing someone new to HD and who had so many questions to ask. He and his wife are very friendly and Southern Thunder is exactly how one would picture and imagine a TRUE, old school with advanced capabilities, motorcycle shop. If you re like me, new to HD, or if you ve owned one for a long time, this is the place to go for all things Harley Davidson. He came very highly recommended to me by others who have ridden HD s their entire lives. I can t wait for the parts to come in and for he and his crew to do the work. I know it s going to be done RIGHT, which seems to be a rarity these days. I also know he ll be my go-to for as long as I own the bike and live in this area. Thanks again to Brandon, his shop-mate, and his wife for being so patient and friendly with me!

Got lots done after recently moving here from up north. Electrical, rear brakes, flushed all fluids, air filter and more. So pleased from start to finish with customer service! I have taken my bike to Southern Thunder exclusively. I have never had a mechanical problem what do ever. They always do an inspection and let the owner know of any problems or possible problems. Great experience every tome

had an accident with my ultra classic. they came and got it from my house- good service . Insurance company ok'ed work and sent me a check right away. Here's where it went wrong. I called and ok'ed work. 30 days later ST calls me asking for the money so he can order parts. I assumed he did business like every one else. Do the work and get paid. I was annoyed i lost 30 days waiting and offered to pay for all the parts so they had no out of pocket expense. ST wanted ALL money BEFORE they did any work. Against my better judgement I paid them in full- labor and material plus my deductable beforehand. Waited another 30 days for parts. Finally - job completed- they did a great job however when i picked the bike up i was told i owed another 178 dollars. this came out of my pocket instead of insurance - he said he forgot tax on parts.Just not a professional experience. Take it or leave it attitudeWill not go back
