I've been using Bob Barnes auto for years! They service all of my families vehicles. I've purchased tires and had mechaical work done also. Great people, great service, and great prices! I would recommend them to anyone! Not once have I had anything other than a great service at a great price!

Best place in town hands down. Will return for any work needed, they took care of my 2012 wrangler. seriously 258 cheaper than one place and 522 cheaper than another place that I got quotes from in town and those two quotes were without a left rear sensor that got added to the repair at Barnes. They have earned a customer for life

Barnes Auto was recommended to me by a neighbor, and I am so glad I listened. Customer service was great. They got me in as quick as their schedule allowed. They serviced my vehicle in a timely manner, had parts on hand, and charged a fair amount! Excellent service! I had to replace 5 travel trailer tires after leaving Jekyll Island. We parked out front in the big public lot and I would roll each tire in as I got it removed from the travel trailer. They replaced the tire very promptly and I would roll it back out and do the next one. Price was very reasonable as well. If I lived in Brunswick I would definitely use this shop!

Love coming to this shop! Honest work with a smile, Tammy is great... integrity and good prices. I have been using them since we moved to Brunswick a few years ago and couldn't imagine taking my car anywhere else. Will continue to use them and would advise anyone looking for a mechanic they can trust with excellent customer service to take their vehicles to Bob.

Cheap and good brake job but decided on his own to change my oil. I had just put full synth in and it had less than 100 miles on it but instead of asking if i wanted it done he tried to sneak it on my bill and charge me for an oil change i didnt want. Also, had to call and find out if my truck was ready rather than receiving a call when it was ready.Service: Auto brake repair

Took our vehicle to another shop in town because of a popping noise in rear. They said nothing was wrong and they couldn t hear anything. Took it to Barnes and it was a dried out Universal joint. They replaced it right away and the price was excellent! We also had brakes and shocks put on our work truck. Bob is friendly, knowledgeable, and his crew gets the work done fast. He has earned our trust and business. One thing to note...a lot of people feel the same and his shop is busy! Worth the wait!Service: General repairs & maintenance

It's been a month since I had my alternator replaced at the local dealership. From that time until now, my car had been overheating and was giving absolutely no A/C, and the days have been getting hotter. I've had enough. Not wanting to bring my car back to that dealership, I searched for local auto shops for comparison pricing, expecting to spend hundreds to address and fix my issue. After settling on this venue, due to it's proximity to my home, I am greeted by a friendly "hey there" and am assisted immediately.I cut to the chase with the manager about my issue and am given a short list of possible causes before I even put the period at the end of my sentence. I am informed that my vehicle can be looked at right away. I give Bob my keys, my contact information, and a goodbye.I barely get a chance to sit down when I get home when I get a call from Bob telling me that he fixed my car and was ready for pickup! Apparently whoever installed my alternator didn't plug in all the connections properly, and Bob was kind enough to plug everything in correctly FOR FREE. I was equal parts pleased with Bob and displeased with the "experts" who had ONE JOB at the dealership. So much so, that I expressed my gratitude with buying new tires my car desperately needed from the hundreds of dollars I saved here for very agreeable prices.TL;DR - This place is the real deal with people who know what they're doing. They've secured my future business as well as my recommendation for others.

Best shop in town ! They are very kind ,fair and fast. They do not try and overcharge you which is aways a concern of mine since I don't know much about cars. He has actually saved me money more than once. This is the only place I will take any of my vehicles.

They give the best of service. I was using my Denali SUV and was moving and had to have it towed in. They kept it in their shop for protection so no one could steal the items in the car, until I can get there after the weekend to pick up the vehicle.

I knew the reviews for this place were good, but they don t do justice for just HOW GOOD Barnes Auto is. I was vacationing in Brunswick from Atlanta when my wife s car appeared to overheat. Coolant was bubbling and looked like it was leaking. I let them know what I thought and they were able to take a look SAME DAY! Not only were they able to check and pressure test the coolant system for leaks, we weren t even charged! Apparently if there is nothing to fix, they don t charge you! My wife and I are incredibly grateful for the service provided at Barnes Auto and we wish there was a place like them in Atlanta!

He s worked on my 05 mustang multiple times (brakes, car lift, exhaust). He s the only AUTO SHOP in Brunswick I trust to look at my car. They are very honest, and he also has a great team of employees. The beautiful lady at the front desk was sooo kind, even when I asked a million questions she never got upset lol. Thank you so much!! I m very picky and anxious about who I take my car to as you should. But when I take my car to them I m always at ease knowing the job will be done correctly. They will get the job done, and if he can t do it he will lead you to who can!Service: Electrical repair

I ve been dealing with auto mechanics and shops for over 25 years and I ve always had to watch them...never a high level of trust. I must say that Bob Barnes is very refreshing. His honesty and quality of work made me feel like a received a bargain! Wouldn t think of taking my truck anywhere else.

Had to get my back brakes done. Was in a hurry because I had to get to class but needed my car back right after. No problem they told me..i dropped my car off, picked it up 2.5 hrs later. It was coming off the lift I was walking in. Great prices (And I have a foreign car), great service,friendly staff..From now on my go to mechanics as long as I live in town!!!

Great shop with great people! I had a very small puncture in one tire causing a slow leak. A different shop told me I would have to replace the tire (which only had 10k miles on it). A Plus very quickly checked the tire and did a patch without any issues. In fact they charged half the price of the other shop I had check the tire. Will always go here first in the future!

I had the opportunity to use A+Tires to fix a water leak on my 2003 Suburban. The price was more than fair but more important than that, they were very courteous and took the time to accurately diagnose my problem. They got it right and in a timely manner. A BIG Thank you to Pete and everybody at A+ Tires for getting it right and at a fair price. I will use them again and would recommend them Highly!

Finally, I found a repair shop I can trust. They didn't have the tire I needed but they found one in town and had it installed within the hour. GREAT PRICES!! and friendly staff. Just left Barnes Auto and wow what an honest and professional owner and crew. We are traveling through Brunswick and my truck steering wheel went to the 10:30 position. It was driving me crazy. I tried another national chain tire store up the road however they tried their best to rip me off and pull a scam. Bob at Barnes was extremely honest and told me nothing was wrong with my truck other than the alignment was out. He also noticed that my tire pressure was extremely low. I had just check it before going to the national chain tire store. Bob Barnes is a true honest professional man with integrity. He fixed what the other shop messed up and his prices are extremely fair.

I was in town for work and the cover on the undercarriage of my car came loose. It was making a terrible noise so I knew I had to get it fixed before I went home. I came in without an appointment and they got my car fixed in less than an hour. If I lived closer they'd be my go to for all of my car issues. Amazing! Thank you so much!

After getting a small screw in one tire, another mechanic said we'd need to replace all 4 tires. Brought it to Barnes for a second/ honest opinion, and they patched it for $20. Love these guys!

Great shop and made a hectic time less stressful! My car broke down on a trip to the Golden Isles and Kester and his mechanics were able to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately the shop from Jacksonville wasn't able to get the parts into town until the next day. Kester was willing to drive us to a hotel, but we had to get to back to our home that was three hours away. Luckily we knew someone in Jacksonville that could help us out there.We weren't able to get back down to the shop until the next weekend, and A+ watched my car for that period and garaged it at night. They ran drove it to make sure my car could make the journey. It has been running great since. They are experienced, have reasonable prices, and are honest. Brunswick is lucky to have this shop. Thanks again!
