Extremely unprofessional.I come in with a car diagnostic and list of parts for replacement asking for an estimate. The woman behind the desk says I need an appointment for that so I make one.I drop off my car at 8 am for my appointment, I m asked if I have a check engine which I obviously do since I came in for an estimate WITH the diagnostic of the check engine light. After I leave a couple hours pass and I get a text letting me know the estimate is a ridiculously high amount of 2.5K mentioning other things I didn t ask an estimate for. When I clarified that I just wanted the estimate for what was originally talked about, they bump the price down to 1.5K. I let them know that I want to reschedule for a later date for the repair when I have that amount of money and they then let me know The Diagnostic is $89.95 .I came in with the diagnostic, I just wanted an estimate, why on earth would I be charged almost 100 dollars for them to tell me what I already know and the price for the repair?I call and the woman is being difficult saying they had to run tests that I wasn t told about. We get into an argument and says, If all you wanted was an estimate I could ve told you that day it would ve been $300-$1500 so what was the point of making me schedule an appointment? She continues to dig herself a deeper hole until her husband had to take the phone, tell me I owed the money if I wanted my car and hung up the phone.AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

Elton s has been my go to mechanic for 2 Honda Accords and one Honda CRV over the past few years. They perform top quality work, provide excellent customer service and above all else they are very honest and that is what keeps me coming back. I couldn t recommend them enough.

I got my exhaust upgraded and later down the road my muffler was came off going down the highway and I went to them and got my exhaust rewelded because I had an exhaust leak and this company was the only one that touch my truck. And I stilll had a problem with them. Not going back ever again. I don t recommend from my experience with them.

Great local shop. Went to get my oil change and was done pretty quickly. Prices were pretty fair as well. I will definitely use this shop for my car repairs

Vehicle needed brake job done. Low grade technician. Angry and banging my new rotors on engine blocks!When job is complete I goto leave and there is a high pitch noise that was not their previously. Bring it back and technician tried to blame it on something I knew it was not (I have 10 years on and off experience). Technician took a look at it and finally admitted he did the job wrong and fixed it.I was going to walk away just grateful my brakes were done and not go back. I wake up next day to my radiator and coolant being completely empty.Two days prior to bringing it in I had done a coolant system inspection and everything checked out, no leaks.Do not go here.

Top notch mechanics, friendly quick service. What more can I say, they are the go to shop for all my business. I had not idea they were around. My car stopped on me and I didn't know what to do next. I was referred to Eltons. My car was towed, fixed and returned within 48 hours. I needed my car for work. So I'm happy I didn't have to rent a car and waste money.

Poor.. never fixed the problems I was having with my car and told me everything was fine with it... I believe them because I'm not a mechanic until I took it else where to find out they lied to me..

This place is fabulous!!! I'm so glad I found an honest place to take my cars to! (That's actually hard to find as a woman!!!)I thought my van was done for... and I was out a few grand, that I didn't have! But it was luckily just a hose. Which I got fixed about 2 months ago in Florida, and cost about 250 dollars. It blew, and these guys fixed it for 100 bucks!Turned a bad day... into a not so bad day! We just moved here, and I've definitely found my mechanics!!!

Just completed some underbody work with my personal car after completely damaging the right side panels traveling around the broken roads of Atlanta. Passing through Savannah I was referred to Elton s Auto & they did great.They diagnosed the issues, showed me what was wrong and what would need to be repaired, they assisted me with ordering the parts. The cost was much less than what I would ve payed going to Mercedes Benz Dealer.The staff is nice, knowledgeable, and good at their career.The gentlemen at the Discount Tire at Goldley Station referred and I m happy they did because I m not from the area and I didn t want to be deceived or taken advantage of any way.I totally forgot to take before and after pictures for the review but the under body of my car looks brand new. I feel much more safe now driving around and I ll be returning for some brake work before getting on the road.Services: Auto body & trim repair, General repairs & maintenance

Elton's Auto did a fantastic job on my Nissan Altima. They kept me up to date with everything that was wrong with my car. Had it completed less than a week. Super professional. Extremely grateful for their service. Definitely recommend. It also completely slipped my mind but I wanted to thank you guys personally. Thank you

I had the pleasure of having Terry and the team take care of my F-150 yesterday. They did an excellent job of diagnosing a tricky issue and performing the repair (coils and plugs). The shop is honest and could have added other services that I was concerned about, but didn t. I would definitely recommend the shop for your vehicle. Thanks to Terry and the mechanics who worked on my truck.

After the undercarriage of our car was damaged at the construction mess at i-16 and i-95, eltons auto shop saved us when we needed them the most. We are so thankful we found a reliable mechanic so far from home. Quick service, kind people and highly recommend.

I highly recommend theses guys! For one, they are very nice, and for me, that goes a long way. For two, they was able to take care of my needs and have my car back in a timely fashion. I was not disappointed, and my car is running better than it was when I got it. Please see them for any and all of your car needs. You will not be disappointed!

A sentimental gift was stolen out of my son's truck when he had work done here. It was not expensive as it was a multi tool but very petty. Stay away!!!!Reply: It doesn't matter whether it was a bait or not, nothing should go missing. And he is 100% positive the multi tool was there when he dropped of the truck. Police up your own workers because if costumers stuff goes missing, rest assured your stuff does as well.

Just passing through and needed brakes changed. They got us in right away and let us know we had a bad control arm as well. Even though it's late in the day, they ordered the part and will fix the control arm in the morning. Very nice and honest people. Thank you!!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Wouldn't recommend. Had to go somewhere else to have the work done since you canceled my appointment when I walked in at exactly my scheduled appointment time. I understand things happen but it was the unprofessional and unapologetic tone with which I was told. I was sitting outside your gate when the owner pulled up 15 minutes before my appointment. A simple apology and phone call would have been enough for me. I guess you have enough buisness and don't need mine, so I gave it to another local shop.

Elton's Auto is excellent. They are honest and their prices are fair. They completed the work in a timely manner and were finished when promised. We paid exactly what we were quoted. Very good communication, outstanding customer service. Catalytic converters, flex pipes, raised exhausted, filters. You name it, they do it well! We will be returning to Elton's Auto.

OUTSTANDING! The tire on my trailer blew while driving between Savannah and Atlanta. AAA said that they wouldn't cover my trailer tire so I Googled tire service in the area I was stranded on I-16. Elton's came up and the man himself answered the phone and listened to my situation. I sent him a pic of my tire which unknown to me had lost its tread and didn't blow. He directed me to his shop and how to get there safely. While driving to his shop, he called every 5 minutes to be sure I was fine and was waiting outside when I pulled up. Although it was obvious that his shop was busy, he quickly got the tires I needed and got me back up and running. He even gave me an extra rim he had and put the tire that didn't blow on it so that I now have the spare that I needed. When I got the bill I was pleasantly surprised that it was very reasonable and showed no indication that it was an emergency and I had disrupted his appointments. Two hours later my phone rang and it was Elton calling me to be sure that I was ok and that the trailer was pulling fine. Can't recommend Elton enough and I can only hope that my company aspires to give the same level of service that his does!

If you are looking for a trust worth company go here! We were having issues with our Ford, it was saying it needed new converters. So we approved the estimate for 1,000 and told him to proceed. When they got into taking them off they saw that they were already replaced and the people who did it left the old one on and it caused them to get clogged. They cleaned everything up and only charge me $90 !! Usually someone would do the work even if I didn't need it to get the money. Great job guys!

I've been taking my vehicles here for everything that I cant do for the past 15 years! This is a great old school garage!Update since 4 years ago: The shop has been sold to an employee and has drastically gone down hill. Now it is just like all the rest of the shady garages in the area!

My truck developed an exhaust leak so I swung in there one day and had them take a look at it they diagnosed the problem which was a donut Gasket off the driver side manifold and had me back on the road in a jiffy. I also had some minor Body Work damage to the front end which they fixed the next day. Their Tech did an awesome job thank you very much.This was my first time here and I must say I like the people here they seemed to be honest & trustworthy and they have very fair prices.

Elton's is the premier home-grown trustworthy local shop you've been looking for.Think twice about visiting the dealership or a large service chain like Goodyear. They love to make you spend extra on repairs you don't need. Elton's is my local go-to for maintenance and they even do exhaust. Ownership is friendly and cares about their customers and their vehicles. Elton's saved me about $500 in unnecessary repairs quoted by a dealership service department. The parking lot is gravel and has some dips so be careful if your vehicle is low or your shocks are bad.

I'm not one to do reviews, but I needed to do this one. This shop is superb!!! I'd been traveling and still had some hours to go, they took me in and seen about my car even though they were full and wanted me to come back in the morning, they squeezed me right on in yes they did and the best staff (from the bay to the front desk) you could ask for so friendly and knowledgeable, thanks for everything. Go check them out, you won't be disappointed, I promise!!! Thanks Again.
