Was recommend to come here for the boiled peanuts and was so happy with them. Got 2 scoops for $9 which is a steal! The bag of peanuts was huge! Peanuts were so flavorful and fresh! Staff was so sweet. Will definitely be back on my next trip

Sunrise Grocery is our favorite place to stop as a family before we head up the mountain! The boys always get fresh boiled peanuts, snacks, and they love all of the old time candy they always have! I am obsessed with their clothes brand- Souled in Appalachia-Super cute and cozy!! So much fun! Owner is awesome too! Definitely take the time to stop in and check it out with the family

A step back into my childhood in South Georgia. Small town fruit stand with fresh veggies, fruit, home goods, drinks and the best boiled peanuts!!!! They have many more items for you to shop for. I love the outer look of the building because it's so country looking. The two guys running it on the day we went in were great!!! I wish I have gotten their names. They treat you like you're family. Very helpful! Can't wait to visit again!!Food & drinks: Great selection of fruits and veggies and cokes and such.

If you ever find yourself near Vogel State Park, be sure you find Sunrise Grocery. From the authentic handmade old-time candies, handmade gifts or Jason's boiled peanuts, you won't be disappointed. It's a tall statement I know, but Jason has THE BEST boiled peanuts I've ever had anywhere.

When you think of Blairsville GA, this should be one of your staples. Sunrise Grocery embodies everything that North Georgia is about -- from it's friendly and helpful owners, delicious boiled peanuts (you HAVE to get these when you come), handmade soaps and goods, delicious seasonal produce, and nestled in one of the most beautiful and photogenic valleys.

Absolute favorite place to stop! The homemade soaps are AMAZING! I have bought over the years handmade coffee mugs and soaps, shirts, pickled okra, and CHOW CHOW! My husband eats chow chow all the time and he said that theirs is truly the best that he has ever had!

Stopped in for some ice... Had so much fun shopping! Grab a jar of the jalapeno pickles!!! You won't be able to put them down. Found a bottle of Shirley Temple soda too! It was delicious! Remember, I mentioned we stopped for ice.... Well paid for all our treats and the ice, it started raining - we hopped in the car and drove off without the precious bag of frozen cubed water!!! LoL Didn't realize it until almost back to our camp site... We had a great laugh about it.It was a great visit! The staff is amazing!! Check them out!!!

Stopped in here coming back from Young Harris and got gas. They have 93 octane ethanol free gas with old style pumps. Quaint little roadside country store with a traditional feel. We need more places like this!

I LOVE this little stop!Found this gem years ago while heading into the National Forest to camp. It's become a personal mecca of sorts for me, and I'm not alone. Very popular spot for locals, bikers, tourists, hikers, and campers. It's been around for a while, and with good reason.Lovely couple, truly family owned and run. She makes fantastic homemade soaps, candles, and scents, each with an Appalachian theme and story. He is a professional photographer and displays his amazing work in a small studio made of old wood and tin. (He also offers photography classes).Tees, hats, drinks, fresh local fruits and veggies, homemade jams and sauces, gas pump for the bikers, boiled peanuts, maps, memoribilia...#souledinappalachia Nearby activities: Camping, kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking.

A great little country store with a wide variety of locally made snacks and food items. A fun atmosphere & friendly people make this a great travel stop whenever my family & I go visit the mountains. Don't miss the peanut boiler outside with its smoking dragon head! It's really cool & my daughter always gets a large order. They are really good.IF you found this review helpful please hit the "Like" button; and if there is any part that stands out to you as super-helpful or funny - leave a comment as it helps me develop better reviews for you & other people.

This place is so wonderful!! We went on a vacation and stopped at this little store!! I am so glad that we did because they have the best homemade soap ever!! My favorite is the Sunrise on the Blue Ridge!! I have since ordered 2 more times from them and I refuse to go back. Thank you for good quality products and service!!

Stopped for good price on no-ethanol gas and spent a little time enjoying the charming store and the nice folks who run it. Bought an interesting item. Planning to make this a regular stop on my future trips through this area.
