HARD LESSON LEARNEDI brought in my 2018 Chevy Silverado 4WD to be repaired by David. I've used his service 3 times prior with no complaints. This time after being billed $1,054, I still have the exact same problem as I began with. David made an agreement with me and he did NOT keep his word. A man's word is really all he has in this world and if you won't keep your word then you ARE NOT someone who I want to do business with. He failed at his job and he failed at his honor. A lesson that cost me a month of inconvenience in waiting to get my truck repaired and $1,054 for ZERO results. This is my truthful opinion, dismiss it and find out the hard way if you must. You're better off paying a little more and taking your vehicle to one of the local Chevy dealerships for repairs.

I do not recommend this place at all. I called the place and left the car there on Sunday last week David said that the 2008 Acadia gmc would take about 1 or two days and we would have it back it was a head gasket they needed to replace and they were going to charge 750 I went to go leave it at night. After 3 days they called and told us that the car needed new spark plugs and new coil packs and the total for that was 1,450 we agreed that he would add new spark plugs and 3 coil packs on the back for 1,150 after 3 days David called me and he said that the raidador had a leak and needed to be changed and the power steal pump also had to be changed before we took the car there the stirring wheel was perfectly fine also the radiar, when we went to go look at the car we noticed that they broke the raidador and the power steal pump they were trying to charge us 800 for the raidador in addition they also charged us 600 for the power steal pump when we told him that was fine before we took it there before they broke it he got mad and refused to give us any discount or help us with anything so then we told him we were not going to want him to change any of those things after we paid 1,227 we got to take our car home. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF

I met David and Shirley about five years ago. They were recommended to me by a friend and I've been a customer ever since. David is honest and he's a very skilled mechanic. I have sent many of my friends to him and all of them are completely satisfied with his service. People like David are hard to find nowadays, honesty goes a long way with me. He has never let me down.

I would not recommend using this place at all. Had my car for over 3 weeks charged me close to 700 bucks for a starter and now I have to take to someone else to have repaired.Service: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic

The owners are VERY responsive. We called for a quote for a replacement for rack and pinion for an 03 ford explorer after trying for 5 days at the Ford dealer in blue ridge. We got a quote from David's in under 2 hrs. It was incredibly reasonable. My husband is a mechanic but had a knee replacement so he could not do it. We were very pleased with the scheduling speed and quality work...so much so that we later had them do sealing of valve cover gaskets and intake manifold. Highly recommend them!

Quite simply I needed a tire plugged and they took care of it in no time at all. I'm sure had they had other things going on but they got me out in a timely manner. Yes I definitely will be going back to them for automotive and tire needs.

If we could give a one start we would. We just moved to the area and needed a great mechanic. When we call David s Auto & Tire the automated message says they are slow on business and will only be open Monday - Thursday. So we decidedTo support a local business and called in Tuesday and scheduled an appointment for Thursday at 3:30. While scheduling the appointment we mentioned that we wanted everything checked for major issues, new battery, and a oil change. I get there Thursday all they had written on the paper was new battery. I mentioned it again and said if there s anything else we need to do please let us know. Later that day they call us and tells us he needs more time on the Jeep, we said, no problem we will pick it up tomorrow. We drove by the shop and noticed that at 10:30 am the Jeep was already outside so we called to check in and they said David still need to test drive it first. At 2:58 they call us to tel us the Jeep is ready (they close at 3pm). I pick up the Jeep and they both tell me we did this, this and that and its all good now and the total is $302.76, anything else please feel free to bring it back to us. 10 min later we find out that the car got much much much worse. It is now dying at red lights and stop signs. (This was not happening before.) they are closed on the weekends so we had to wait until this morning first thing. I get there, I mentioned everything that has been going on to them and he simply says I don t know what to tell you, all I did was give you a new battery and a oil change . And I replied so the extra $100 was for what? You just told me all you did was give us a new battery and an oil change. David literally walked away from me and that was that.

Took my truck into the ford dealership - mistake one. Quoted me $2400 with over $600 in just parts. So needless to say I looked around. David was available and affordable. Went in and got an honest, secure quote. I dropped my truck off on Friday and had some difficulty contacting them afterwards but got ahold of them Monday. Would recommend and go to again.

David always treat his costumer right, the price is fair and on the old changes he's one of the few mechanics that greases every thing on, under, and even the zirks we don't know about. Highly recommend. Wont take my vehicle anywhere else.
