God led us to the Holiday Inn Express and wow what a difference in price and customer service. $154.00 and Andrew was a breath of fresh air with his customer service. He was so helpful. The hotel was so clean and comfortable. The breakfast was out of this world. Thank you Andrew for your hospitality and thank you to the breakfast staff for all of the delicious food and customer service too. It was an enjoyable stay!

Night auditor was friendly and check in was easy. Stains on the sheets, but they were clean - I could smell the cleaner. No soap in the dispensers - this is unacceptable. Other than that, the room was updated and fine. Check-out, well the day clerk didn't seem to know what he was doing. It took 15 minutes to check out. The online system showed that we had checked out but had not, nor did he see us checked out in his system. So, this caused a lot of confusion for him. There wasn't anyone else in the office to help him. Breakfast was typical, not superb but it was good enough. In the grand scheme of things, the stay was okay.

After leaving the Hampton Inn across the street where the reservation specialist wanted to charge us the rate for a fishing tournament that starts on Nov 1 $230.00 a night even though all booking apps were around $122.00 a night. It was an enjoyable stay even if it was for only 9 hours.

My wife and I stayed at the Bainbridge Holiday Inn Express & Suites for four nights in late October 2023. We were very pleased with the accommodations. The hotel in general was well kept, the rooms and breakfast area were clean and comfortable and the room was well maintained by housekeeping. We enjoyed the breakfast offering. The hotel manager, front desk staff and kitchen attendant were very pleasant and helpful. We appreciated the friendliness of Alka and Latika in our interactions with them. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will hopefully return for another visit with our family.

This is the best and only hotel I can recommend in Bainbridge. I'm a professional who travels and while I normally don't stay with IHG brand hotels, the Hampton in Bainbridge was so awful I decided to this time. What a pleasant surprise this stay was. Everything was fresh, clean, and comfortable and the staff was also very nice. Will definitely be staying again when I'm in town!

This is one of the better hotels in that area, I would strongly suggest that you pay attention to your bill. I was charged a $50 incidental fee and was told it would be refunded back to me. Every time I called I was told to contact my bank for the refund. I contacted my bank and again there was no refund. Everyone I spoke with on the phone said the same thing and no was shocked or confused by what my question was. This past weekend my husband and I were back in town and stopped in. This time, I was told that I wasn t charged, and that it would be handled. Today I get a call from the manager, same person we spoke with over the weekend, and she told me she called my credit card company. I used my debit card, there is no credit card company. This time she was trying to say that they told her I wasn t charged. I know what the bill was I signed, I have spoken with multiple people at this location and no one was had ever said that nor did they seem surprised I was calling and asking. It s $50, but more so the principal. Honestly, I m more frustrated about this situation and it s not worth my energy to continue to try and discuss this with the company. I was told this weekend that it would be taken care of, I guess this is how they handle business.IF we decide to stay here again, it would be a different style of payment.

Out of the options in this area, this is probably the best (unfortunately). Keys for three different people (&rooms) in my party did not work after receiving. Had to get updated keys on second night as well because they "expired". I've never dealt with this at any other hotel I've stayed at and it's really annoying when you've had a long day and just want to go to your room. Rooms: shower heads need to be updated. Looks like they came through and did a surface level remodel, but didn't update appliances in bathroom. Pretty awful shower experience, and bathroom just didn't seem the cleanest . Breakfast tasted ok, but there was a cockroach crawling on the ground in the kitchen area.....

Overall, it was a good place to stay. Check in was fine. The floor in the room was extremely slippery (entry way and bathroom). I went to front desk for some towels and she acted like she did not want to be bothered. The pancake machine was not functioning properly, even after several attempts by the lady taking care of breakfast trying to fix it. Not a deal breaker, she was very friendly and apologized. I would stay here again.

Good check in and good check out. Room was clean, bed was good (not great). Bedding was great. Only issue, the smell of unfresh AC unit was little over bearing. Smelled like smell good spray rather than cleaning coils. ( my opinion )Rooms: Everything was clean. Show head appears to be broken. (305) . But it works. Show curtain isn t catching all the spray I wiped up water that ran towards front door.

The keys all stop working within a few hours of using them. This happens every night, 4 nights in a row. After a long day, I arrived back to the hotel room at midnight, realized my key wasn t working again, and no one was at the desk / was answering the phone. I then waited for TWO HOURS and was locked out of my room. It a truly been a horrible stay.Additionally, they have been redoing the hotel so the pool is out of order, the main entrances are unusable during construction hours, and the washer and dryers are out of order. And even when I made a specific request to get my room cleaned (only once during my four night stay) it was never cleaned; I had to take my trash out on my own every night. There are also significant bug issues. My friend who is also staying here also was assigned to a room who already had occupants in it, and entered the room while they were in there.I ve stayed in holiday inns many times but this will likely be my last. One positive: the continental breakfast has been great. The staff working during the morning at the front desk have been great. But the key issue has been a nightmare, and they need to work on their nighttime staffing issues because it isn t fair to the customer to have to be locked out of their rooms in the middle of the night.

Okay, I am still here, so they will not be happy with my review, but I must be honest. The service at the check in desk was adequate. They did not inform me about the free breakfast, coffee, well, anything. They checked my id, then gave me my room key. I am using my holiday Inn points for this stay and they may not like that. I have spent thousands, staying at holiday inns across the country and had amassed over a million points at one time, so for the last few years, I have been using my points for friends and family, and my hunting trips to my property in South Georgia. The hotel started renovations last year and the rooms look great, but the room they put me in was infested with ants, everywhere, but Tonya who was working at the front desk moved me to another room as soon as I informed her of the infestation, so she took great care of me.The first night, I got up at 3:00am, to go hunting. There was No Coffee, but Holiday Inn Express advertises free coffee 24/7, depends on which one you stay at, but obviously not here. The next day, I went for coffee and they had No Sugar. They have an indoor pool, but of course it is not available, neither is the guest laundry, but they still charge the full rate or in the case of using points, the full rate is 20 thousand points per night. Their convenience store inside has just about nothing, so you better bring everything you need or you can go to Walmart, which is just across the street. In summation, this is a nice hotel, with NO AMMENITIES and plenty of Ants. Bring your bug spray but not the kids, since the pool is closed and was closed this time last year. The microwaves in the rooms are tiny and the in room fridge has had the thermostats removed so you cannot adjust them and they barely keep your food stuff chilled, other than that, its a nice hotel.

The pool was closed, was offered discount but never received it, requested two blankets which after hours we received one? Then I found yellowish marks on my bed, told the front desk. Was told I would receive a discount, but never saw it. The ice machine had little to no ice. Just really disappointed at the whole experience. No blankets, no channelLine up sheet nor book with restaurants close by

This Hotel has some serious issues with cleanliness and upkeep. First room they tried to put us in - the toilet did not flush at all, so they moved us to another room. This next room was not clean but it was clear the whole hotel was not clean. Towels under the sink were sitting on a shelf that was moldy from leaking pipe. Smell, bugs and everything from floor to bedspread were not clean. Note said maids only Mon- Friday 7am to 1 pmWe came on Sunday. Large spill on tile floor outside 2nd floor elevator was not cleaned in the 2 days we were there. If they are not cleaning something as visible as that what are they cleaning.Pool and Gym closed for repairs. We could not stay there another night.Staff at front counter was friendly is the only positive here.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting family in Bainbridge. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There is a hot breakfast served every morning from 6-9:30.We stayed a total of 3 nights. The hotel was clean, and the beds were comfy! The first morning of our stay, housekeeping came by and were under the impression we were checking out! Seems as though there was a miscommunication somewhere. We told them we were staying another two nights. We informed her she did not need to clean our room, but she made certain we had everything we needed. Great job! Thank you! Now, why the 4 star review? Well...our room never did get cleaned the remainder of our stay! I inquired at the front desk if our room was going to be cleaned, and was informed there was no housekeeping staff. They had gone for the day.We had no clean towels, wash cloths, or shampoo! The young lady at the front desk asked if it would be ok if she brought the items up to our room. We told her that it would be great! When we returned to the hotel that evening, no towels, wash cloths or shampoo were in our room. .In her defense, they seemed to be very short handed. We totally understand that this was a holiday week, however, your guests should always be taken care of. The rooms should always be cleaned, unless otherwise asked not to.That is really the only negative comment!

This hotel is quite a mess because it's going through a remodel but they're making visible progress each day. The extremely nice employees at the front desk(Showda and General Manager Chelsey ) more than make up for the mess. I stayed there 4 nights. All thestaff were very very helpful and nice.

I m traveling from Atlanta as a healthcare professional and I ve stayed at this hotel a couple of times. This past stay was not pleasant at all. Upon arrival after a 4 hour drive I found that my mini fridge was not working so I called the front desk they tried to tell me they don t have maintenance here right now (it was 3:00pm) and would get a replacement one in the morning, I told them I had food now and that wouldn t work. It took them 2 hours to get a replacement one from another room after I had to call and ask again. After work I shower of course, I found that the shower was not working properly, instead of it being a stream it fell straight down to the floor l, if I can put a video I will. Also the a/c was not cooling like the other rooms I ve stayed in, the lights and plug ins weren t working near the bed. I tried to switch rooms after work the following morning but the power went out the night before and at 8 am they said the system was down and would call me in 30 minutes to switch rooms a hour went by and I didn t hear anything so I had to keep the same room because I had to get some rest. It looks like they are doing construction or something on the 2nd floor because most of the doors to the rooms are open. I don t know why they thought it was okay to put a guest that s paying almost 500 dollars on this floor but I won t be staying here anymore. I ll stay at the Hampton down the street.

Gone downhill. Rooms are beat up and front desk is staffed by people who have no idea what s going on. We checked in one night and the guy on night shift smelled like he had been smoking weed for a week. I called customer service and never heard back from a manager. Housekeeping starts at 8:30am so no sleeping past then. Avoid!

Originally booked the hotel through booking.com, however, they don't easily share information to other providers. We booked this location as it had an indoor pool but was told it was down for renovation. Found out that it has been down for 6 months. At checkin the lady that is at the front desk was in another room and seemed bothered that we were there. Asked me what we needed and was not friendly at all.Room we were in smells, in disrepair and is not well cleaned. You can see by the images. Fortunately we are only here for two nights.

I would like to give the establishment a better review as it could be a very nice hotel, however it is lacking in a few areas. Upon arrival we were a little apprehensive as there was a gentleman by the entrance who was obviously intoxicated smoking and chatting with patrons. We checked in and the front desk clerk was very nice, we went to our room did a quick sweep and all appeared ok. I asked for some extra towels to be sent to the room on our way out for the evening and when we arrived back hours later, no towels, and this time the gentleman outside was publicly drinking and smoking at the main entrance. Then as we were getting our girls showered and ready for bed we found a crushed candy bar on the floor , last but not least as I inspected the pillows and mattress I found a bed bug. We were horrified and called the front desk she asked if we would like another room, but that was enough to for us. We had to take our children out of the hotel just showered and in their PJ'S late at night. The girl at the front desk did not know how to reverse the charge on our card for the room and she was unable to contact anyone to help her. We did receive a refund after calling the next day, but to be honest we should have been compensated for our stay at a neighboring hotel due to the inconvenience.
