This was an unexpected one -night stop over on a longer trip, due to driving fatigue ...but we'd definitely consider going back for a longer stay someday. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The new owners are working hard to up grade the entire park and it shows. Clean, roomy, shady sites and public facilities are well kept.

New management the last 4 months have made tremendous progress on the commitment to provide a family atmosphere with care and concern to all aspects of this camp. The grounds are now well kept, washrooms are refurbished and the safety of all campers is ensured through the very visible presence of Candy & Arizona who will not tolerate anything inappropriate. Candy welcomed us warmly, even sharing fresh cinnamon rolls! Her very kind welcome was much appreciated. Highly recommended!!

Sites were large and fairly level, with grass and stones and lovely trees around. Best to put down a carpet for comfort. Owners Candy and Arizona were very nice and friendly. Arizona patrolled the park, providing a sense of security.A few disappointments: the WIFI was virtually useless. The park WIFI would barely appear on your list of available WIFIs and when it finally appeared, the password continually indicated "incorrect". There was absolutely no cable TV signal at our site. Pool was not open because the park did not have a certified pool person to manage the maintenance. Weirdest thing were the washrooms. Very clean and a bit worn, but you could not lock the door, even though you needed a code for access. They are individual toilet/sink/shower combos. So, you could be sitting on the throne or taking a shower, and anyone with the code could barge in. Male and female washrooms had the same code. This was quite unnerving, and made me less likely to use them. For these reasons I took away 1.5 stars.Safety: Arizona patrolled the park and kept a good eye on things. No security for washrooms, however.

If you visited here before November 2023, you owe it to yourself to come back. The new managers are doing an amazing job improving everything about the park and they're about the nicest people you could ever meet. The location is a big plus right next to highway 84 and the boat basin park. If you're in need of anything during your stay, the management will go above and beyond to do whatever possible to help. We consider them friends and look forward to returning.

Mr. Arizona and Ms. Candy are wonderful hosts. The lots are spacious and include many pull-throughs. They are conveniently located about an hour from Tallahassee, but without the Florida prices. The Flint River is literally across the street. Dining and shopping, to meet any budget, is no more than 10 minutes away with some very nice restaurants within a mile. The park is fenced in, well lit, and well maintained. We will definitely stay there in the future if in the area.

We normally stay at high end resorts, but this campground was so close to the Earle May Boat Basin park that I had to try it. We were down for the first regional qualifier for the Georgia High School Association bass fishing tournament. It was very convenient, clean bathrooms and large sites. We choose site 15 for reference with our 40ft 5th wheel. I have nothing bad to say about the park. Candy was VERY welcoming and she also allowed me to have a last minute part needed for my boat delivered to the campground. We will probably be coming back here for all of our tournaments in Bainbridge. They are renovating the office and will be having the place looking great!Noteworthy details: Very close proximity to the Earle May Boat Basin Park

We were here for one night yesterday... passing through. Made our reservation one day earlier, online. Candy called the next day, to confirm our arrival time. Candy & Arizona are very kind & gracious hosts! Our site was shady, and level. We didn't use internet, we use our 5-G device from TMobile. Place was pretty quiet, allowing for the traffic on the Bainbridge by-pass that runs beside the park. Perfect experience!

I feel this RV park is in an excellent location. Mrs. Candy is wonderful & has made us feel right at home. The grounds are maintained very well & clean. The bathrooms, showers & laundry room are always so clean & smell clean. Mrs. Shirley is amazing & she s such a great side kick with Mrs. Candy. Those two are very Great!!The bathrooms do not lock from the inside so they are a MAJOR safety concern. Anyone can access the private bathrooms while you are showering if they have the code.We love the card nights & potlucks that Mrs. Candy & residents do. Such a home environment at the clubhouse with that sweet lady! Hands down, Mrs. Candy makes the place. Her warm caring invite to the park makes you feel so welcome. We love seeing all the residence making the park more beautiful everyday. It s a family here through the circle of spots. My husband grated the road & it is much smoother ride through the park. Mr. Robbie, the maintenance/grounds guy fixes everything quick & really keeps things looking great. And is always available if needed to help around the park or if you see something unsafe or sketchy.*Would recommend a dog park towards the green hill near trash bin (not too close) with bench s & a metal trash can secured in the fenced area. Most parks we ve stayed in have these.*Would also recommend a fence around the playground or gated park. Anyone can pull through here off the interstate & the play area is not fenced. Just Saying! Mom of 3With this park being where it is might not be a bad idea to make the resident part gated with a code. Leave the front & clubhouse open. Safety is what most people are looking for. We spend lots of money on our campers, animals & such. PS: we ve stayed at ALOT of RV parks. We travel 24/7. We talk to a lot of people & it s the common talk. Safety Overall all great family place!!30mins from Tallahassee50mins from Shell Point Beach in Gulf3hrs from Jacksonville, FLScoops is an awesome candy store downtown Bainbridge.

Candi and Arizona are the best campground management people we ve encountered in our 1 1/2 years full time RV ing. You can see from older reviews that the place was a mess when they took over and they work tirelessly (probably just make it look that way) every day to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. They do go above and beyond. There was a severe thunderstorm warning with expected 70 MPH winds yesterday and Arizona woke us up at 7:30 am and offered us shelter at the office/clubhouse where they and several other park guests were gathered. It was SO fun for everyone to come together to wait out the storm for a few hours over coffee and snacks as well as stories and conversation. (Arizona is a real deal western cowboy and not only looks the part, he lives it. He s got the best storytelling thing going on that you ve ever heard, like right out of a John Wayne western - well much better - like right off the ranch.)Safety: Park is family friendly, and Arizona patrols it day and night.Noteworthy details: This is very convenient to the downtown, and to a huge park with the river with more boat ramps and docks than you ve ever seen in one place, along with a nature hike, playground, amphitheater and so much more. Very safe feeling and dog friendly too.

This RV park is definitely in the cost-friendly category. Don t expect anything fancy AT ALL. However, it is more than adequate for a quick stop or even a month, for the price! It s right by downtown Bainbridge, and has a really nice walking trail right across the road. The spots are pretty big and they do have a not terrible in ground pool.

When I got here a month ago I would have given it a two-star review a month later with New Management I'm going to give it a five-star review because the new management has been working day and night to pick up the park and bring it to par.Haven't had any problems, nice and quiet, and management patrols day and night to make sure their guests are comfy because of them I decided to extend my stay for a couple more months just so I can see all of what they can do to this park being that they've done so much already.I wish the new management the best of luck in bringing up this park and getting it to a five-star the way that it should be for a park so close to the Florida line.Nearby activities: Directly across the street is a great bike trail, Nature Park and a fishing hole to throw your pole in the water.

We have been coming to the Flint River RV Park for many years while visiting children who lived nearby and attended FSU.The park has never been better! The new managers, Arizona and Candy, have made a world of difference. From the minute they arrived they committed themselves to excellence working tirelessly from dawn to dusk to address all the critical needs of the park and its guests to ensure that it is consistently FIVE STAR! You will not be disappointed in your stay here.Nearby activities: Park across the street with a beautiful boat launch and hiking trails. Quaint town of Bainbridge has parks shopping and restaurants.

The ground is clean the wifi is eeeehhhh the cable is in and out but the thing that kills it is the management is so overbearing and so nosey... Ppl don't pay 500 some odd dollars to have their family harassed everytime they use the public restroom because management thinks everyone in Bainbridge is coming to try and uae their little 2 washer 2 dryer Laundromat that you have to pay to use anyway!! Like let it go they literally ride back and forth all night and say even stopping to interrogate if ppl that are just using the toilets if they are washing clothes and kinda rude about it too! It's really not that serious y'all nobody trying to use your washer and dryers that I repeat ppl have to put money in to use we just be beedibf to use the toilet because let's be honest no privacy in camper restrooms and they clog often .. if it werent fkr this and the cableand wifi being so shotty it be a great place.

The Flint River RV Park is clean, has excellent hosts, maintains a clean pool, has excellent lots, is safe and is across the street from the Bainbridge City Park, which is a beautiful park with about 6 miles of hiking trails or bike trails that follows the Flint River and up into restored downtown Bainbridge. The park has many other amenities including boating, fishing etc. There are concerts, fishing tournaments, boat races, splash pads for kids, Christmas lights etc. There are many restaurants close by with any kind of food you can think of. Flint River RV Park is great place to camp for a few days or stay for a much longer time. Arizona and Candy are the real deal, they host special events, watch after the park and will take good care you.

I stopped here for the night while traveling through the area to my next job site and wish I could have stayed longer! The park is clean and well maintained with level hard packed sites, good pressure water, strong power, and sewer connections. The managers were a delight to do business with and I d definitely stay here in the future next time I m passing through!

Flint River RV is less a park than a weedy, buggy vacant lot. We had the same experience as many one star reviewers here; grass in need of mowing, excuses about the park being purchased a year ago promising that the new owners were making improvements, dogs roaming off leash, faulty wiring causing our power to come and go, no gates or other type of security, sub par bathrooms, and what looked like a homeless encampment in the site next to us, with the occupant roaming the park in his socks, muttering to himself, likely in need of community mental health services he was not receiving. Mo, the manager on site responded immediately when I inquired about the individual and stated he was known to park management and was not dangerous. Little consolation but I did appreciate the timely response. There is a Walmart nearby, a fairly large Wynn Dixie, and downtown Bainbridge has some lovely shops and a good restaurant, The American. I would not recommend this park and I would strongly urge anyone to continue driving the 35 miles to Tallahassee before settling for this neglected and depressing "park".

I was told this campsite is now under new management. By reading the past reviews, I m sure glad it is under new management! Mr. Roger and his wife were both very helpful, informative, and friendly! We have never stayed at a campsite where the managers come by and check on you, or came by just to talk it was very nice of Mr. Roger and his wife to do so! We ll be back, even just to see them again!

This is positively the worst park we have camped at in our 50 plus years of camping. The grass was nearly 2 ft tall and we had to carry our little dog to the road to walk her. We asked some of the campers when they cut the lawn and they said it hadn t been cut in the 2 months they were there. It was hard to find the hookups in the long grass. One site had a water leak and it was just running down the road, by morning it was a huge puddle across the whole road. We were only here over night and if we weren t so tired from driving we would have requested a refund and found a place to park elsewhere. It was noisy all night from the nearby traffic. And for all this we paid nearly $50. This park has a lot of potential but not under this management. Clearly no one cares to upgrade this park which is really sad! We gave it one star only on it s potential. Campers had left their garbage on the road as you couldn t find the dumpster. I can t even imagine what the showers must have been like. A sad place!!!!!

In reading the reviews, the new owners said to give them time as they are working on improvements. That is not what we found..it was awful! The grass was not mowed and was really high; the flower bed were in horrible shape with lots of weeds overcoming them; the entrance had a broken ice machine, lots of dirt and by no means was it welcoming; the mini-golf corse was such a eye-sore; I would not have let my child play on that playground as it was all broken down with trash everywhere; the sites were all uneven; the king-time campers were really bad to look at .I could go on and on. All of these could have been taken care of in the 6+ months that the new owner (which lives up north) has had this property. It is going to stay in this shape until they get new management that is willing to work. They had lots of open sites and I can see why!!!! By the way, Trent River has nothing to do with this campsite; it is a totally different identity.

I stayed for about 6 months. It s probably the place I ve stayed the longest at so far. We have stayed at hundreds of RV parks, campgrounds, rv resorts across the United States and Canada. I must say Flint River Rv Park is a great park for the money. I love the monthly price of $550! For the price, you get a huge RV site, it s across the street from one of the nicest city parks in the area, and you get free entertainment most weekends over at Earle Maye (across the street)The RV park manager Mo is super friendly and always ready to help out.The park is just gorgeous. The grass got cut recently. They have made improvements to the road. I haven t needed 4WD on my truck. My favorite part of the park is that you can ride your bike across the street to an amazing bike path. The Fourth of July show was amazing lasting over an hour and a half showing one of the best fireworks display I have ever seen. You get all kinds of vendors and really fun events. It was amazing tbh. Usually, when I pay this price point, you re in the middle of nowhere, not across the street in a very bikeable area. The spots for RVs are massive, so you've got plenty of room. Recently, they changed the packages to be stored inside of the office. I prefer it when the packages were outside so that I could grab them in the middle of the night when I got off of work. I know that the change likely came as a regard to some of the reviews here. For RV internet, I would recommend using Tmobile Home Internet. It's $55 a month and may be your cheapest way of getting internet and you can move it everywhere you go. We were measuring roughly 350MBPS each day. Great place for that at this park.Oh yeah btw there is a slight highway noise. My RV ac tends to be quite louder than the traffic so it did not bother me. I ve had this happen at most Rv parks.I totally loved my time at Flint River and would definitely stay there again. So yeah, I'd say check it out and ignore the reviews.Nearby activities: Earle May basin is amazing park to walk to!Walkability: Very walkable area
