I have been a customer of Ricky Jordan s for over 15 years. Taken 4 different cars there but they literally played me and I was out of $400. I brought my car there because the sunroof was leaking back at start if 2023. They claimed they fixed. Advising that worse just needed to be reconnected. It was fine a for few months and then it started leaking again. I called them again and took my car back in. They charged me again to fix the leaking sunroof. This time it was that it needed to be blown out. This time they not only kept my car for 2 days I had to call just to get an update and I was told that they shouldn t have even tried to fix my car the first time because that is not something that they do meaning work on sunroofs. Today what happens, the sunroof is leaking again. There is no way every few months I have to spend out $200 to get a sunroof fixed. My car is not even 10Years old yet! I call today and was told oh you need to take it to an auto body shop they have the tools to fix it. While why was I not told this the first time before you all attempted to fix it. Now I am still out of more money to get something fixed that y all fixed twice. I am upset with the service received. After being a long time customer they could care less that their work did not hold up. While this is my first issue with them it s says a lot that my loyal means nothing as a customer to them. So this is a warning if you need your sunroof fixed do not go to them.

The wait time was pretty long but Rick and the customer service was awesome. I was very pleased, they were very honest with me about what was wrong with my vehicle and as a single woman up in age I felt very comfortable with them, I will definitely be back.

Ricky Jordans let my car run hot which blew off my brand new radiator hose and broke my temperature gauge. They plugged one of my vacum lines with my valve cover pin. My car had just came from another shop having the cam and heads replaced. They ran my car for 45 minutes in front of me and it never ran hot or blew off the radiator hose. Ricky Jordans left the fluid on my engine which destroyed the finish on my tstat house ,valve covers ,carburetor, intake and air breather which were all new from Summit Racing. Fluid sat on there so long it started rusting at the seem of the valve covers.I drove the car there so even if the line was to blow off why didn't hit happen when I drove and that would not of blown my temperature gauge. I also never received a call about any of this when I came to get them car i was informed I had been charged for a 44 dollar radiator hose as well as 33 in coolant. Which in total was $450 . Most of all the owner im guessing tried to tell me the car never ran hot. It is in another shop now making sure they didn't do any more damage. Terrible experience. Will have to have this rectified threw other measures. I wish I could give zero stars but save yourself the hassle of dealing with these guys i should of went somewhere more professional. Ps the car was only there a week.

They did a great job replacing thermostat and water pump on my Audi, and coordinated with the warranty company to get paid. Great job!

Our son was traveling late at night from Birmingham, Al to Macon, Ga when his truck began to overheat. We were in the South Pacific Ocean and couldn't do a thing. My son called a towing company and I searched the web and saw the reviews Ricky Jordan had and when the tow driver suggested Ricky, I knew we were in good hands. Once they began work on the truck I was updated on what needed to be done and Terry kept me posted as the repair went on. The water pump and belt needed changing and the guys got it done in a timely manner, 1 day to be exact. Being an aircraft mechanic for the #1 airline in the USA and being 5,600 miles away, I needed a #1 auto mechanic team to help me out. In my opinion, Terry and the rest of the team at Ricky Jordan Auto are the #1 auto maintenance team on the Westside of Atlanta and when you're in need of vehicle maintenance, you should take your vehicle to Ricky Jordan.Services: Auto water leak repair, Engine repair

I was referred to Ricky Jordan's by my neighbor. Prior to taking my vehicle here, I use to go to the dealership . I realized at the dealership I'm a number and not a priority. Quality customer service is an important factor to me when doing business. I must say Ricky Jordan exceeded my excepectation of good, honest, quality customer service. They communicated with me from the time I dropped my vehicle off until the time I picked it up. There were no hidden surprise about my diagnosis. They did an entire care inspection for free. They then addressed my concerned areas. I was sent a text message with a report of both. The icing on the cake was a picture of my vehicle, and attached a picture of the technician who was doing the work. I was able to accept my quote and approve it via text message. I had other concerns but, my technician said it wasn't time for a tune-up yet. The technician provided the correct mileage that my tune-up should be done. This allowed me to save a little bit of money. Had I went somewhere else I'm sure, I would have been up sold on other issues. Ricky Jordan's is one of those old school businesses that take pride in their work and their customers. I highly recommend using them for any of your vehicles needs. You can't buy this type of quality customer service. I now have a new home for my vehicles to be serviced. Thank You for making me feel like your number one priority! After being referred to 3 different places that would not work on my 05 VW Golf GTI, I finally found this place. I had my new wheels rubbing on my brake pads due to wrong offset. They were able to grind my break pads as a temporary measure and did that in a very timely manner. Final work was good and communication on point.

Great service. Always prompt with service, honest and not overly priced. Scott is amazing and is like an encyclopedia for cars. Whatever he recommends, do it! He s saved me hundreds, maybe thousands by giving me other options on repairing parts that didn t need replacing. Wouldn t go anywhere else.

My 4Runner has 328k miles on it and I was about to take it on a long road trip. I took it to Ricky's for pre-trip inspection and to fix leaking seals in the rear differential. They did a thorough inspection and fixed the leaks and even had my tires rotated and balanced at James Tires for me since they don't do that service. I'm driving my 4runner all over now and no problems. I gave them a deadline to have the car ready and they met that too.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Vehicle Inspection

Brought my vehicle to them due to it running odd it had no indication lights on!!! They then handed me a paper that had several codes on it and my check engie light was on. I went back to complain they then said something was off with the wiring.. They then took it back in the garage had 3 people looking at it and now I have a steering wheel light on! I noticed the good reviews left but I did not have a good experience as I am now left with these lights on!

Ricky Jordan is a terrible excuse for "Auto Repair". Save your time and hard earned money and have both better spent elsewhere.I did not take the advise of many other 1 star reviews and thought surely those horror stories couldn't happen to me. I was wrong - I have spent over $2,000 to essentially have my car damaged by coming to this pathetic excuse of an auto-shop. The original issue with my vehicle was never resolved, and an extremely choppy idol paired with a broken A/C were all that resulted from my multiple visits.Don't expect a call back from the owner or management to talk through and resolve any concern you raise with staff. The only remedy offered is to leave your vehicle for further inspection, and as was the case in my experience and the case of many other one star reviewers - this inspection period always returned results of further unrelated issues caused by incompetent mechanics.Please save your time and money - this level of unprofessionalism should not be rewarder with you business.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

WELL WORTH THE READ!!!I would rate this poor excuse of a mechanic a "0" if possible. My 08 Honda Ridgeline was delivered to Ricky Jordan Auto Repair on 12/15/22 and was supposed to be tested the next day. Finally got it diagnosed on 12/20/22 after agreeing to pay for a second diagnostics for a (blown head gasket). Turned out to be pin hole in one head. Agreed to cost of $3,911.00 (doing heads and timing belt service all at once) and was told by Scott on 12/21/22 it should be ready by 12/22/22 depending on if the head repair shop could get the heads back to them quickly. Got call 12/22/22 at 8:57 am from Scott and he said they got heads back and everything looking good and should be ready by the end of day. Never heard back all day. I called at 4:01 pm and was told that the "Master Mechanic" had a issue and the motor was binding. He turned it over anyway and it jumped time. Crushing the valves and having to have the heads redone again. Finally picked it up 12/29/22 and noticed the valves ticking. I spoke directly with Ricky Jordan about the valve noise all the other issues I had experienced making him fully aware of everything that transpired. He acknowlged and told me to drive it for 200-300 miles and the valves would stop ticking and to bring it back and they would adjust the valves to factory specs. I paid the invoice and left. Looking over the bill, I see he used cheap parts and not even the recommended parts for Honda. He also marks up parts by almost 80% and can see the example here (Import Direct Timing Belt Kit With Water Pump - 20358K from Orielly $209.99 and he charged me $367.17) I noticed the next day that I was getting a puff of blue smoke everytime I stopped and the truck sat for about 30 minutes. Made them aware and even showed video to Keetah as well as head mechanic in which Ricky Jordan instructed me to do. His head mechanic Chad Cobb confirmed what I was seeing. Also told them I feel like it is under powered and my gas mileage dropped by 3-4 miles per gallon. Tried calling multiple times and was completely ignored. Called from a different number they did not recognize and the answered. Spoke with Ricky and he just makes excuses. In the end, I have over 5 pages of notes made of everything that transpired and shows he has no fair pricing, integrity and no transparency in his business. I will continue to post reviews everywhere I can and hopefully people will do the research on his business before making the same mistake I made. Again, Ricky is a poor excuse of a mechanic and hides behind his service writers instead of facing problems that they create. Save yourself time and alot of money by going to a reputable and honest mechanic shop.

Affordable, mechanic I'm the neighborhood. I've been driving BMWs since about 2005. Originally took them to Tim on Thornton Rd until about 2010, then started taking it to Shannon (Cane and Amon) right across from Ricky Jordan. Shannon's not there anymore so I found a new home here. Good service but takes quite a while.

I had the worst experience with this Mechanic shop. I would not recommend Ricky Jordan Auto Repair. I brought my car there to get the camshaft replaced ever since then my car is not the same. Went in to get one thing fix came out with multiple problems. Not only that my vehicle was three for 2 months. My extended warranty expired while they have my vehicle sit in their parking lot without no communication. They are the worst. My husband called for 2 straight weeks to talk to the owner Ricky Jordan and Scott would not let us talk to him we even left multiple messages but nobody returned our calls.I will be reporting them.

I took my Audi to get diagnosed. They front desk people are nice and they seem like they want to help. The issue was they misdiagnosed my car multiple times. They probably had my for a total of two weeks, which required me to have to rent a car. They was never able to fix the issue or get my check engine light to go out. they tried multiple times. they charged me $1900. I ended up taking it somewhere else. Just a bad experience for me.

The short of it I have brought 2 vehicles now to them and they are really nice and caring. I had the WORST day and truly appreciate the sincerity, concern and willingness to help especially with insightful advice on how to handle my situation that wasn't my fault. Fixed my boyfriends radiator on his car, fast turn around as well on getting the work done on both vehicles and listening to what we had to say about what was wrong with the vehicles. Great all around, can't go wrong choosing them for mechanics. and their tow choice Matt is top notch as well!

Customer Service is EVERYTHING. Iwould definitely recommend Ricky Jordan's Auto Repair. I live in NC and set up the service over the phone.Scott was very personable and made me feel comfortable with sending my vehicle there for service. I was extremely happy with the turn around time, the service we received and the reasonable price. They fixed what was wrong (water pump) and did not make up "additional repairs" needed. Brought my car back to life! My CRV sat for almost a year, following several mechanics that couldn t figure out what was wrong. I wasted thousands of dollars. This company is an excellent place to bring your vehicle for repairs. Techs are very knowledgeable and know what they re doing. Also, customer service is exceptional.
