Piss Poor Service...Called and spoke with someone bright and early to let them know I would be bringing my car in that morning. He replied, "bring it on in." I dropped my car off about 30 minutes later around 8 am. I decided to give them a call at 12:30 pm because I had not heard anything about the car. The guy said there's no one there to work on my car and I can either leave it over night or bring it back as if it was not a big deal. I picked my car up the same day. There's was a technician sitting on the ground in front of the car garage relaxing. There were two other ones chillin at the front desk and walking around with coffee. It's obviously a chill Friday for them. No one apologized for the inconvenience. Very non-chalant...They simply handed me my keys and sent me on my way. Disgusted is an understatement. You would think someone would have had enough sense to call me and say we're not able to work on the car today. But I sat around for hours waiting on a call that I never received. Not much work happening at Pep Boys on Austell Rd. I thought switching from the horribe Floyd Rd location would help but I could have stayed there. Needless to say, Pep Boys can longer get my business. I have a Pep Boys card that is useless because of the piss poor service. Do better and hire people who actually want to work.

Jeremy is the greatest! I only bring my vehicle to the Austell Pep Boys for service, and they never disappoint. The service is fast and efficient and Jeremy makes every effort to keep costs to a minimum. Additionally, I appreciate being honored for my military service with the discount that they provide to Veterans. I absolutely recommend this Pep Boys location. #SuperCustomerService #PrecisionWorkmanship

If I could rate zero, I would all because of Trey. I have been here before and the customer service was great, 5 stars, but today I met Trey for the first time, he was very rude and disrespectful. I came in for full synthetic oil change, the price I was told on the phone when we set up the appointment was different from what he decided to charge me. His behavior was very unprofessional when talking to my husband on the phone, I was just shocked. Not planning on dealing with him again. I noticed he was rude to other customers also.

I recently came here on two occasions and I was helped by the manager Billy. I had a bolt in my tire and they were able to effectively repair it! The mechanic was fast and efficient. I also came in for an oil change in the afternoon, and they got me in and out! The customer service is exceptional and Billy is very knowledgeable! I will return for more services.

Just wanted to say I have gotten the best service from Pep Boys at Austell, best service from any of the others in the area. Jeremy especially is really good at that location. They do great service at an affordable price! Highly recommend.

Frank was amazing! I was so stressed with my tire blowing out, when taking my kid to school this morning. He told me to bring it on in to this location. It only took about an hour to replace 2 tires which was enough time for me to pick up my kid from school. It was a pleasant and friendly, environment. I will be back for future work

This was my first time at this location on Austell Rd. Walked in a few days before for a quote & Mr. Billy was very informative, pleasant, very helpful. He literally answered all of my questions pertaining to a potential purchase & seemed happy to answer my questions. No lie, I also visited the floyd Rd location & the man in the front was so irritated by me asking a few questions. If I am making a thousand dollar purchase, I have questions! Anyway, please visit & come do business with Pep boys Austell Rd location.

It has been two weeks now, and my breaks still make a harsh squeak noises. I now have to pay additional money in another state to have them recheck some new breaks that I paid to be placed on all my tires. If this team can make me feel uncomfortable with the breaks service. I would be a fool to pay them to put on tires and place new ball barons on, too. I should have taken my vehicle to Tires Plus as my man told me to. I just forgot. I will listen next time.

Billy the manager was exceptional!! From his customer service on the panicked called to his amazing and helpfully demeanor during the visit, he was top tier!!! Omar provided the labor and he was very efficient and reliable!! Thank you gentleman so much for your service!! I would definitely recommend to anyone in the Austell area!!!

I m from PA , I came here with a flat tire . They didn t have the man power to help me so I would have had to leave my car behind but being that were not from around here I couldn t leave it there till the next day. It s the only car we had . After I got the bad news I walked out to my car and I tried to figure it out . I started calling other places in hopes that someone would have same day service . As I did that I saw the cashier walk out the store and walk over to me . He asked what my tire size was and longer story short , he told me to come inside that he would try help me out the best he could . My tire got changed and I was out of there in a matter of 30 minutes . They didn t have to do that , they had other cars they needed to work on , this hit me in a way that left me amazed. These are very good ppl , that was going above and beyond , and I will take this and the next person that I find that needs my help I will do the same . Thank you very much .

"I place a high value on good customer service and reliable auto maintenance when deciding whether to return to a business. For me, Pep Boys is a clear choice. Even in emergency situations when I've had to leave on short notice due to family emergencies or unexpected events, In 2021 my daughter was found unresposive in her dorm room in South Georgia. In 2022 my 35 year cousin was murdered in Florida. Just 2 weeks ago, a beloved senior citizen from my hometown passed. I drove to each of these funerals more that 5 hours. I know I can count on the expertise of Jeremy Taylor because of consisceny he exhibited over the years. Despite being transferred to different locations multiple times(Marrietta, Cumberland, Piedmont and Austell), Jeremy's patient explanations of the parts and service process keep me coming back. As a woman, I appreciate not being pressured into services or without understanding the reasoning behind them. Additionally, Jeremy keeps me updated on any delays or schedule changes that may arise." Billy service manager was not very informative. He says it shouldn't take but 1 hour and 45 minutes to fix a window. I was in pep boys around 745 and had to wait for mechanic to get here but then after they get here they pulled others so I asked how long and what up. Billy says let me check. He comes back in and says they pulling it in. By this time a customer after me leaves. Around 1130 Billy says still waiting on part. Now remember I got here around 745am. Billy is not friendly at all. One mechanic evidently picked up my order and started making comments to Billy in front of me. You think that flies over with me NO IT DONT.people be careful with them

Made same day appt for oil change and new battery. Prices are regular and fair for the market. They did all the work without much hassle. Dropped in. 30min later all was done.

I went to get my break pads changed. I also asked for them to do a diagnostic test on the car because it was pulling a little when driving forward. They stated that when turning left the vehicles parking assist would turn on. ( a problem I never had) They told me I need to take it to the dealership because they can t fix that. Once I got back in my car and started pulling out the parking lot I noticed the car was not driving as it normally does. Every time I took a turn my car felt like it was dragging as if the e brake was on. Come to find out they turned the 4x4 on my car. They diagnosed a problem that was caused by them turning the 4x4 on. I called back and told them that they turned on the 4x4 and that was causing the car to feel like it was being stopped when turning. I was then told that the only thing that I would need is break pads. I paid them for a problem that was caused by them turning the 4x4 on.

I purchased four tires Saturday and never had a problem with my 2014 Buick lacrosse pulling left or right. On the way home I notice it pulling to the right and took it back the next day as it was late. Someone did another alignment which made it a little better but it's still pulling a little. I feel if I take it back they will come up with a problem I didn't have when I first took my car there in the first place.

Trey was able to squeeze me in on a Tuesday morning. He was also super honest with me about the state of my car and showed me proof that i needed a new tire and explained the details about what the process for changing your break oil. He did not tack on things I didn t need for my car like Toyota service does. I really appreciate his honesty, and his care for customers. Highly recommend!

Dad bought a tire there 6 months ago. The tire that was installed has not been removed since installation. Took it off today to do the brakes. 2lugnuts were cross threaded. One broke off the other stripped all it's thread's. When I called to have it handled they wanted to charge us to fix their mistake. Unless I bought three more tires from them. Then it was free. Not how I do business. If I screw it up I fix it.

The man Trey at the desk was argumentative and rude. I called to get information on my truck and where the brakes were done and he told me he couldn t do it. I called another Pep Boys and They were very nice, but when I called back to tell them that they could ve looked up my information he was rude and when he should ve just said he was wrong.If I could give zero stars I would. I m educated and well aware when someone is back peddling , for him to talk down to me saying he didn t have my license plate or vin when I could have given it to him . So insulting he never asked for it he just didn t want to look it up.

The staff was helpful and patient as I picked out tires for my truck. They also got the tires and installed them quickly.
