I was very satisfied with the service that was provided by Mercedes and her team members. I had an appointment today at 6:00. Mercedes called me requesting that I come in earlier due to them being understaffed. I said sure no problem. I greatly appreciate Mercedes and her team members working together in getting my vehicle completed.

Great prices. Unbeatable actually. The lifetime tire rotate and balance is well worth it. Good at Walmart all over the country.Seems like the experience of others may vary, but personally my experience was one of prompt service. Like with most automotive service centers, especially busy ones, it helps to arrive early. This makes a much bigger difference than you may know.You're in and out faster and work will be performed by more alert techs, not worn out from hours and hours of labor.

I ordered a tire on the Walmart website I put in my make model and tire size in and I said I wanted it installed at the location I was picking up the tire at and that was the bobby Jones Walmart location and the appointment was set for Friday at 9 . I go there Friday at 9 and they tell me they can't put the tire on because they don't work on BMW mind you they asked for the make and model of my car before I ordered the tire and nowhere on the website does it say Walmart doesn't install tires on BMW and neither does it say it anywhere at their tire center on bobby Jones. They told me I would have to get it installed somewhere else even though I bought it from Walmart. The lady at the desk was rude I asked for a manager they said she was on her way I waited 40 min then they told me she wasn't at work yet then I asked for a discount they said we can't do that either I ended up having to spend 40 dollars at NTB to put the tire on I bought from Walmart and I drove to Walmart on a flat tire and they still made me drive from their tire center on a flat tire in order to make it to NTB if I had known they don't install tires on BMW I would have known just bought the tire from NTB the truck install would have been cheaper if I had bought the tire from them . Never again will I buy tires from Walmart and if you drive BMW please don't buy tires from them they will wait till you come to your appointment then tell you they can't put them on because it's a BMW . I don't want to give it any stars I'm giving it one because that's the only way they let you post your review the one star really is a negative star.

Ordered tires for my vehicle, which is a dodge sprinter van. I added in all the details and scheduled a service to have the tires installed. When I got there they informed me they could not install the tires like they didn t have all the info prior to my visit. I rearranged my schedule for this and instead got 4 tires shoved in my vehicle which caused damage to the interior which was not exactly ready to transport 4 tires. Would not recommend at all. Go to discount tire and save money, time, hassle, and possible damage.

Got to Walmart at 9:15 am on a Sunday for an oil change, before I could ask a question they were rude and told me to move my truck to the parking lot, ( no signs) I went inside and was told it wouldn t be long as there was no one in front of me, while 4 workers changed 2 tires on the only car in front of me, I waited over an hour for an oil change and wind shield wipers( which they forgot), let s just say I won t be coming back to this Walmart for anything. Well I went back to the store for some groceries as I am traveling, and the inside was worse than the tire center, see my pictures and see what I m talking about

Update: Changed my rating to from one up to four stars for good tires and installation service, and friendly staff. Found out they open at 8am on Sundays. They need to change their computer system because everywhere it shows as 7am including scheduling appointments. It would also be beneficial to receive an approximate wait time instead of waiting 3 hours.Initial post:Had an appointment set for 7-8am to put on two new tires. Arrived about 7:05 am. Lights are dark. Doors are closed. Other customers waiting outside. Had to cancel the appointment after it being 7:40am and still no lights on, no doors opened, and no answer on the phone. They finally opened up just after 8am right when I was about to leave the lot.

Absolute nightmare experience. Unprofessional, disrespectful, and unhelpful. Back on Sunday, August 27th, I purchased four tires for my Lexus from the Augusta Supercenter. I selected Walmart because it stated I could pick an appointment as early as two days later, and the service included installation for an additional fee. I set my appointment for August 30th, at 5pm. I got into my car around 4:40pm, at which point I received a call from the Auto Shop saying they only received two of the tires, and they can't install them because my car is "high-end" with low-profile tires. Not once did it state that the tires were not eligible for installation online, and there were multiple days to alert me of this, along with the delayed set of tires. Additionally, I have no means of transportation for the tires, hence needing installation. I was then told the manager would call me back and they never did. I submitted a complaint to Walmart online and they forwarded it to the store manager Yvonne, but I never received a follow-up. The Auto Center cancelled half of my order without telling me and the other half has been delayed almost a month. No effort has been made on their end to remediate this issue so I cancelled the rest of the order. 100% do not recommend this Walmart or the Auto Center. If this is how they treat a member of the military and lifelong customer, be wary of using any of their services.Service: Tires

It takes nearly 2 hours for an oil change if you're one of the first in the door. Oh, they'll open the doors late. I've also taken the liberty to add photos of all the things they'll say you declined but were never even asked about. I've taken my vehicles to other walmarts and recieved faster service and nobody made the decision to decline services for me. The woman at the desk was nice and friendly but I'd definately recommend going somewhere else.Service: Oil change

In the car service area I was assisted by a woman who even checked the book for my parts I needed. We pulled them from the shelves together. I let her know I was going straight to a mechanic to install the parts.Imagine my shock when told these parts do NOT fit my vehicle.I guess she felt she did a good job.That day was such a run around day, considering that my mechanic was in Grovetown and I was at Bobby Johns location of Walmart. Then I still had to spend again and wait for the correct parts to arrive and be installed.Later I came to return these parts.The return area is always filled with people who don t care about any customer needs and they are too busy to be approached or interrupted.The girl who handled my returns was more concerned about chatting about her birthday to her coworkers.I always leave thankful for the great return policy but wondering why they hire such bimbo s who have no real care about customer experience.

Man , I visited the Auto care center last Monday, and I had the best experience, great customer service.. The woman was very kind and helpful .. And I was in and out promptly, did my shopping and got new tires in the same amount of time .. I haven't been this pleased at Walmart in a few years ... Ever since they have made it our jobs to buy and ring up our own stuff, from my opinion Walmart should at least give us discounts for having to ring up our stuff we are buying from the company. It's a shame ... But this experience made my day ...

Horrible service on the morning of 10-7-23, short staffed, slow, etc, just sad! The lady that was working didn t have any urgency and was even laughing at a customer when she should have been doing her job at a quicker pace.

Always good experience, one bad experience (felt disappointed)I almost always come to Walmart for oil change and tires. They are inexpensive, decent work and nice people. Still they are. But what happened today didn't feel right.I came to oil change. After service, when I leaving, I heard sound from tire, like gravel stuck in there. I was in hurry, didn't want to check right away and thought it will go away. After half mile, sound was still there. When I check, I saw a nail on tire. It wasn't there before, and sound just started after I got the car, I'm so sure about it. I wouldn't feel bad otherwise.When I went back and explain it, they asked me to repair. Although I mentioned this happened in their hands, they said I have to pay for repair. I really don't mind paying it, it's cheap. But I'm disappointed by their approach.I think I would still keep going Walmart, but probably another location.(All previous experience 4.5 star, last one 1 star)

The staff is nice but nobody will ever attempt to answer the phone so instead of a answer to a simple question I has to drive 25 mins to check tires that wasn t fully ready when a call could ve saved me time

They were very quick to get my tires on my car. However, one stem had a massive hole in it and caused tire to keep going flat. They didn't even catch it! Had to go to another shop to fix. Lucky I made it to distination.

Incompetent!! I bought 4 good year tires and got the extra hazardous warranty which covers nails getting in the tires. Called and told them I got a flat and roadside plugged it and I wanted a replacement. Was told to bring it in and they would prorate the cost based on the tread. Get here, wait 30 minutes until 11am for them to open back up for them to tell me since it was plugged by roadside I have to buy a brand new tire for $112 I LITERALLY SAID THAT OVER THE PHONE!! Wasted time and money. I ll never return!!!Service: Tires

After making us wait over 2 hours for a simple oil change, they called us back to tell us they couldn't even perform the oil change because they didn't have the correct tool needed, which was just a simple hex key that they even sell in Walmart. The employees had no remorse about making us waste a good chunk of our day. I've gone to the North Augusta location and they have serviced my car a few times, yet this one just happens to not want to do it apparently. Very unprofessional (Unrelated, near the auto center an employee walked by reeking heavily of weed while in uniform). Will never be back.Service: Oil change

I normally don t post bad reviews, but I had a pretty bad experience today. Tried to call multiple times and nobody what answer. I finally got through to someone and she hung up on me. I called back and finally Confirmed that the auto department had indeed been open. When I got there, a gentleman from the auto department advised me to request a flat repair. So I requested that, then after 2 1/2 hours was advised that I would need a new tire. And then was told that they did not have my tire in stock so they couldn t help me. When I said that I wish they had told me that at the beginning, instead of apologizing or anything, I was told that s just how it is. That s how it is everywhere. It is not, in fact, like that everywhere. I ve had flat tires before and have had much better experiences. This was pretty disappointing

I have never had service like this in my entire life. The sales associate behind the counter is rude and unreasonable. She has no compassion or empathy and makes excuses by saying that it's the "Walmart Policy" when you ask about asinine rules and protocol. I was there since 9 am to get 2 new tires and was told I would have to wait for about 3 or 4 more cars that were ahead of me. This was understandable since they only had one tire guy doing service on a Sunday. I casually waited outside on my phone but when I happened to look up, I saw this ONE TIRE GUY helping a customer, who came AFTER me I might add, with her WINDSHIELD WIPERS. Windshield wipers?! I went inside to ask the associate if this was acceptable and she had a nerve to shrug her shoulders and say I dont know. Girl! As soon as she gives me my receipt, I will be calling to make a formal complaint against her and everyone else can get it too!Service: Tires

Please note that even though online it says they close at 7pm they stop taking customers at 6pm!!!!! My 3 girls and I had a flat tire this evening and my husband came from work to change it for me. He arrived at the tire center at 6:20pm and was told they aren't taking anymore customers. He then said online it says y'all close at 7pm & he was told they stop taking customers at 6pm. So now we have to take time off of work to in the morning to resolve the issue when it was publicized online that they do not close until 7pm. I can assure you that in the morning they WILL NOT get my business. This is the second time we have received very bad customer service and we will NEVER be back again and will definitely make it widely know.

I got two new tires for $100 each and I had received an used tire before for 90 dollars. The staff was friendly and helpful too. Service was fast and thorough. I will be back again.

Tire change was okay, but they didn't let me know they didn't have the oil filter for my car and couldn't do the oil change until after I noticed no cars were in the bay so I stopped by the counter and asked. I received a text saying my car was done after I'd paid and got to my car.

Always understandable understaffed, however attitude, and professionalism goes a long way with me, so one star just dropped from three very nasty people!!!Will not honor battery warranty!!! Did some test on the battery said it was okI have taken it twice ( it's not the alternator or anything mechanical it's a dead cell per my mechanic) The lady manager just seems to believe that I have nothing better to do with My Time then bring a battery back and forth to Walmart!!!Services: Tires, Auto battery replacement

I went for an oil change. Everything with the oil change itself seems to have gone fine. They did not put a sticker in the window so I can easily remember my next oil change though.However, the service is what I was not happy about. I was told it would be an hour until my car was even put in for service and then they would call over the speaker when it is done. After walking around the store for an hour and 10 minutes, I came back to see the progress. The garage was empty and my car had moved so I figured it was done. There was only 1 cashier and a line of customers and she kept walking away from the counter and answering phones. After 15 minutes of waiting in line, I get my keys and pay. Come to find out, my car was finished in 35 minutes but there was no intercom call for me. I won't go back, what a waste of time.

I called before coming and asked if I could get my tire checked today or would have to wait until tomorrow. The lady told me that I could come today because it was first come first serve. I got there within 20 minutes only for her to tell me to come back tomorrow because they are closed. I would ve greatly appreciated that information before driving in the rain on a bad tire.

Came in for tires and oil change. Decided to shop while I waited. 1 1/2 hours later they still hadn't pulled my car into the bay . At almost two hours they finally started working on it. Over 4 hours later it was finally done, except no oil change,and the tires weren't properly balanced. Tech claimed they couldn't find "the tool" to change the oil. Having changed the oil in this car before, I know there is no special tool needed. Good thing people don't have to work or anything. Horrible service and dishonest.

Checked in at 8:50 am on 11-23-18 for their High Mileage Featured Oil Change . The attendant asked me for my phone number 3 times, and I told her 3 times. I asked if she knew when it would be done, and she said we call you when it s done. I walked across the hiway to Starbucks, then Lowe s. Walked back and stopped at the Hobby shop. Next thing I realize it s about 1:00 and no phone call. I walk back to Walmart, grabbed a few things inside on the way to the Auto care. I get there and it s a new attendant. I asked if my car was done she said yes. Why did no one call me? She didn t know why, she just got here. I pay my bill and go to my car. I open the door and the insides not vacuumed. They advertised on their web page and on their board under Lubrication Services Include: *Vacuum Interior. Instead of Vacuuming the interior like they advertise and posted, they said on the invoice, Declined. That is a flat out lie! They never asked me when I checked in, and they never called like she said they would when my car was completed at 9:59 am. It s a good thing I didn t have anything important to do that day but spend my time and money to get lied to. Twice! Thanks Walmart! Not!

Been here twice so far and to be honest I'm gonna have to go somewhere else for an oil chance. Extremely slow service and everyone seems to move as if they don't have a purpose. Price is good but not with the 2+ hour for an oil change.I also asked for a headlight restoration both times, just to save time for myself, and they kept telling me they were out of the product to perform the task. I literally walked to the auto part of Walmart, bought the kit, and did it myself. Not a fault on their end but at least stock some stuff to perform what you have listed on the board.

slow slow slow slow slow... I've been here waiting almost 4 hours for 1 tire... there were about 6 people in front of me getting their tires done as well, but all 4.... seeing as I only need 1 I'm not sure why I couldnt have been taken care of sooner. bad customer service. and the old lady with no bottom teeth is rude..update here again a day later and the new tire is flat. they come back saying we found the problem you have a nail in the rear nail wall HOW IS THAT THE ISSUE, THE TIRE THAT IS FLAT IS THE FRONT PASSENGER, they then ask how do I figure it was flat?I will no longer use this tire and lube.

Asked for valve stems to be replaced regardless of current condition due to them being over 20 years old when getting some tires mounted. The lady either didn't tell the service tech or the tech ignored the request because he left the originals in. Now I either have to hope they don't fail, or pay someone else to fix it. Won't be going back.Service: Tires
