3 days back from deployment, on my way back home for R&R leave my 2017 Silverado started to have some serious transmission problems. Mr. Transmission was the only shop in town that could get me in quickly, the others shops would ve had me waiting 2+ weeks. Within a week of dropping it off, my truck was good-to-go. Friendly customer service and also honest hardworking people when it comes to transmission problems. Definitely skilled at what they do and highly recommend !Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

I called to get a quote on a Toyota Camry 2012 transmission, A guy answered the phone and asked what is the car doing. I told him the car is not moving in any gear. It will go into gear for a few seconds but when the engine warms it want change or go into gear or drive at all. He says you will have to bring it to me so I can look at it before I can give you a quote. I might be a woman but I happen to know you just need the vin number to price transmission. Plus what you want me to do tow the car over there just to get a quote. Wow I miss Charlotte can t wait to go home. Do better Mr. Transmission Augusta Ga.

I have never written a Google Review before but these people's kindness is outstanding. My partner and I just moved to Augusta and went here on a whim not knowing who was good and who wasn't so it was such a relief to have such a positive experience with them. They are honest, affordable, do great work and quickly. My car had a recall and they went above and beyond in explaining exactly what was wrong with it and why, explaining how the damage would affect my car long term, printing out all information in relation to the recall and referring me to someone who can help me elsewhere. I was really impressed and really appreciated that they were honest about what they could help with because they could easily have lied to us and taken our money and the car still be broken. Go here you won't regret it!!

It is extremely rare in the auto repair biz to find someone as friendly,helpful and HONEST as Bobby...the Mgr. Having been in the car biz from the sales side as well as having a company car for many yrs, my exposure is quite extensive. I don't know anything about cars let's start there!! The store manager Robert was awesome and sweet. He took very good care of me and my vehicle! They were honest, courteous, and helpful. I thought my car needed transmission work, but after looking over my car I was told what was honestly wrong with my car. It was the motor mounts.They didn't try to push unnecessary services or work off on you like some other places I have been too even when they know you are not knowledgeable about auto mechanics. He told me what was wrong and fixed my car. When I got it back and drove it, I didn't think it was the same car. It drove so well!!! I will definitely be coming back if my vehicle has any other issues in the future!!!! Thanks to everyone at Mr. Transmission who worked with me or on my car!!

Bobby and his crew are the best. My entire family takes their vehicles to his shop. You may have to wait a week for your vehicle to be fixed, but its worth it. Once it's fixed, it's fixed! Also, they are very respectful, and if you are military (active, retired, vet, etc..) they give you a discount. I highly recommend Mr. Transmission on Gordon Hwy. Don't go anywhere else!

Let me tell you, these are the nicest people you will ever meet. They changed my daughters flat tire for her when she was on side of the road near the shop. Since I had such a good impression of these ppl I went ahead and let Robert fix a brake line in my car. They are trustworthy and able to repair most anything. I recommend if you are in the area to try this place. They stay busy for a reason.

I took my brother there to have his truck looked at. They were very professional at the shop and over the phone. We, non-mechnics, tend to self diagnose our own car issues, however the guys at Mr. Transmission said they needed to check it out before pricing us for major work that may or may not needed to be done. Thats was a first for me. If I had Transmission issues, this is where I would go.

I love Mr. Transmission, they are quick with very reasonable prices, and the work is done right. They have took care of me really good twice with my Honda civic, I trust them 100% with my car, and I don't trust many mechanics. I would recommend Mr. Transmission to anyone.

Daughter had a transmission issue with an old car while at school in Augusta. We live 100+ miles away and were stuck. Bobby helped us navigate the situation without investing too much. We are very pleased with the work and truly feel fortunate to stumble on this honest operation!

They seemed honest I am always skeptical about car shops being honest I told them if it needs a whole new transmission I would just junk the car they could have said ok well will just replace the seals. But they didn t they said it s not even worth trying that because it s too far gone they just charged me 20 bucks because all the fluid they had to add. God knows us little people who don t have a lot of money need honest repair shops because most of are struggling to begin with!!

Make this your FIRST stop in Augusta for auto care. I had a transmission issue I had already been to the dealership for and Mr. Transmission came recommended not only by the internet at large, but Jeep forums as well.I went in and though the Manager Robert said he wanted to look at my vehicle, he said that day he didn't have time but to come back Monday morning first thing and he himself would check it. Monday morning he did. Though the error code and issue had seemed to have gone away, he checked on the various causes and explained to me what I could do and didn't need to do because that part of the vehicle was still in perfect/great status.He the RECOMMENDED me to a different shop in town who could do a part he could not, resetting the TCM. Robert did not charge me a penny for his diagnostic work on my Jeep or his time, and when he satisified all he could, he recommended a shop in town who had different capabilities than him to make sure the vehicle was safe.Robert and Mr. Transmission is more concerned about you having a safe working vehicle than they are about their own profit. I will absolutely go to Mr. Transmission again in the future if need be, and will always recommend them first for any vehicle maintenance.
