Malcom Cunningham is not a dealership I would recommend to anyone in the market looking for a new or used vehicle. I recently purchased a brand new 2024 Chevy Camaro 1SS with 6 miles on it on February 23rd, 2024. Needless to say I ve been back and forth to the dealership about 5/6 times since. My fianc� also purchased a used vehicle (2019 Chevy Trax with 90k miles) a day or so prior to when I purchased mine. Starting with my vehicle, my sales person was Michael Flythe and I was also assisted by Omari Dante. The sales process was fine, I was able to negotiate a decent price and the whole purchasing process probably took around 3 hours. Upon the completed purchase they took my new vehicle back to the in house detailer and gave it a quick wash and clean up before I took home. As soon as I got home I noticed a dime sized minor dent in the rear quarter panel and later that day an enormous amount of scratches/swirl marks in the brand new black paint. I reached out to Michael about the dent and was able to eventually get that fixed but it took two separate visits dropping the vehicle off before it was fixed. First reason they gave me was the body repair guy didn t have his kit and the pollen was too bad to repair the dent and make any needed paint corrections.. understandable. They went ahead and did my first 500 mile oil change upon my asking after the engine was broken in (I ve had the car for about 3/4 weeks at this point). I addressed the swirl marks before I dropped the car off for the dent repair and was assured by Omari and Michael that I would be happy with the condition of the vehicle when I come to pick up and that they would make sure my tank is filled up . When I picked the vehicle up the dent was non existent which I was pleased about. But I could definitely tell the detail was below average. I still noticed marks and visible scratches. I had planned to get the vehicle ceramic coated which included a 2 step paint correction and a complete exterior detail so I was hoping that would minimize and hopefully hide the substantial amount of paint insecurities left on the car. Got my hopes up for nothing because upon picking my car up from the 3rd party detailer(not associated with dealership) he tells me the whole car is marred and the swirl marks and scratches have penetrated the clear coat. So here I am now $1200 in the hole and still seeking resolution from the dealership. The detailer wrote a receipt basically saying there is nothing a detail shop will be able to do. The car will need to be wet sanded to fix the paint on a BRAND NEW CAR. Almost two weeks ago when I had it ceramic coated (car was picked up Friday with completed coating) I went into the dealership and attempted to air my concerns with the paint finish with the service manager Mike Jones. Ended up waiting almost an hour while he was out of the office and he eventually got back to the dealership, looked at the car for about 5 minutes and said he would have his 3rd party body guy take a look at the car. Last week I called 2-3 times and could only get ahold of Omari Dante. Supposedly Mike jones the service manager who told me to call that Monday is out of the office all week.. ok understandable. Stuff happens I get it. I call this week on Monday or Tuesday (Week of April 8th-12th) to speak with Mike Jones again. Finally get ahold of him and he says to call back Wednesday to see if the body guy is going to be at the dealership either today or tomorrow. I call today around 12pm and cannot get ahold of him. I left a message and never have heard back. So I m assuming this is going to be a long drawn out problem. The people working at this dealership are polite I will give them that but when it comes to problem solving or making promises they are definitely not dependable. My fiance also bought a vehicle like I recently stated and they have told her at least 4-5 times that her tank will be filled up and it never has. Her process of buying went fine minus the fact that she had to wait a week an a day to actually take her car home. Do better Malcom Cunningham

My experience at Malcolm Cunningham in Augusta was top tier. Salesman, Travis worked hard and diligently to get me in the vehicle I wanted. The guys that work there are all very laid back and cool which makes the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. I m already totally in love with my 2024 Chevrolet Trax!

I experienced a frustrating delay during my recent oil change on 2/2/24, lasting over two hours. Following the service, I attempted to contact the advisor regarding a potential overcharge. Unfortunately, my repeated attempts to reach him by phone were unsuccessful, with extended hold times and a lack of response. The receptionist promised to convey my information to the advisor, but I never received a callback. This recurring difficulty in reaching the service department by phone is disheartening, resembling the challenge of pulling teeth.The extensive OVER two-hour duration for the oil change not only felt unreasonable but also disregarded the value of customers time, affecting other scheduled commitments for the day. This extended wait adds to the overall frustration of the service experience.This isn t an isolated incident; the excessive wait time isn t a one-time occurrence but a consistent issue with each visit. As a loyal customer, having purchased my vehicle from your dealership, I ve encountered repeated challenges. In a prior service, after a tire rotation, my tire sensor malfunctioned, and I was informed it would cost $112 to replace. Strangely, after the recent oil change and tire rotation on Friday, the tire sensor is miraculously functioning normally again. This inconsistency raises concerns about the accuracy and transparency of the services provided.

Please, please change the wait "music!" It is painful to call the dealership and be put on hold.It is excessively annoying and your employees do not deserve to have a customer unleash pent up dissonance when they pick up. It's been the same (loud) "music" for years now.Please change it!How about something easier on the ears? Your employees deserve to listen to customers peacefully at ease!

I visited this dealership about 10 days and they have a beautiful Chevrolet corvette, I decided to purchase the vehicle, secured financing through my credit union, but when I went in to complete the deal this dealership has some protection guard things which were clearly marked "optional ", but they are attempting to force customers to buy these optional products as part of a mark up. So I decided to just walk away and the salesman and sales manager made zero attempt to work a deal with me. I'm not sure if maybe they were holding the car for someone else or what, but this experience sadden me because I have been doing business with this dealership for years.

Michael helped me pick out a car and I left with it the same day. The vehicle runs amazing and looks lovely. The workers also helped me clean out my garage so that I could park my car inside. I kid you not. They truly went over and beyond. Incredible customer service. 10/10. Shop here!!!!

I had an appointment at the service department for a recall part replacement, my appointment was at 10:00 so I arrived at 9:30, they said it should take about an hour or hour and a half. So I waited and waited so I finally went to the back around 12:30 and talked to someone, they said it should be finished, so a tech come driving my vehicle around about 12:35. I was so disappointed, what good is an appointment if it going to take that long

The service advisor Don was very helpful, after picking up my car I tried to remote start it and it wasn't working but it was working perfectly fine before I had my car serviced. My advisor took it back into the bay area and had it restored immediately.

I usually get my truck serviced where I bought the vehicle, but I called this dealership for an appointment. I arrived at Malcom Cunningham for a service. When pulling into the bay, a representative came out. I asked how much it would be for the 15k service. They wanted to charge me over $300 for my 15k maintenance and kept trying to push an injector inspection and cleaning on me (when I know I don't need it). He said it is recommended now due to the quality of gas presumably. Then I told him I only wanted the normal oil and tire rotation. He proceeded to tell me it will be around $140 but if I only wanted the oil change, it will be $109. I was kind of in shock as now I knew what some people talk about when they get taken advantage of when getting a service. This was the first time I have encountered this. However, still shocked, I gave my key to them and went to the waiting room. I immediately called Milton Ruben (where I normally get it serviced), the associate told me the prices and all. I went and asked for my key back as it hadn't been pulled to the back yet.When I arrived, Christina took me in as always and she explained it more thoroughly just as the representative I talked to on the phone did. Oil change, tire rotation and if I wanted a pour in type injector cleaner, total was around $136. This included topping off any other fluids and inspections. I am always pleased with the service from Milton Ruben and will recommend them over this dealership service.I am usually not one to leave "terrible" reviews, but this was pretty outrageous and felt it needed to be said.The reason for the 2 stars is because as far as the parts department, I felt they have been on point when I ordered things, and it was delivered to that dealership.

My experience at Malcolm Cunningham Chevrolet dealership was super fantastic. Mr. Ormari Dante made me feel at ease, the experience was stress-free, and I felt no pressure. His demeanor was friendly and warm. Even the finance manager was very friendly and helpful.I am glad that I was led to come to this dealership. All the personnel were friendly and ready to assist.

I was in town for a medical procedure that prevented me from keeping my appointment at a different Chevrolet dealership. So I used the Chevy app to make an local appointment, but there wasn't any appointments available online. I called Malcolm Cunningham directly and I was able to get an immediate, same day appointment.I recommend calling any business directly if the online site says the company is not available.

The service was good, but not great. I informed the service dept, about an issue that I had with my vehicle, but was told that there was no issue. After I left, I began experiencing the issue again, and now have to make another appointment to have them look again. To their credit, the issue wasn't one that was obvious, but it appears that there was no troubleshooting on it though.

Joshua Santiago was awesome right from the start. I came in with the paperwork I got from the other Chevy dealership and asked if they could meet it or beat it. So there was really no haggling and no pressure. I never felt pressured by Joshua. It was the best car buying experience I ve ever had. I went from a Lexus to a Chevy and the Chevy is much nicer than any of the three Lexuses I ve had before, I am very happy and satisfied. The person I talk to about warranties and such was also equally friendly and not pushy. I m going to tell everyone about Malcolm Cunningham!

Updated review: When I bought the car there was a tire pressure sensor that was broken on a tire but the tire was fine. They agreed to fix it for me. Being that I paid $28k for this car- you think they would ve done that for me with no problem. Wrong! The car even came with a 90 day warranty. I ve been getting the run around about them fixing this one sensor. Keep being told they have to order it because they don t keep in stock, which was fine. Even took it up there for them to check it out and was told I would get a call back. Haven t heard from anyone and it s completely out of my character to beg. Not to mention, 2 out of 4 tires were at 4s for tread life so I carried them to my tire place to get them replaced. Even had them replace the $60 sensor with no problem at all. Baffles me that the sensor was only $60. For context- I ve bought a $17k car from a different dealership before and they went above and beyond to take care of my requests which there were more of. My only request for this car in particular was that they take care of that sensor for me and they couldn t even do that. I still love my car but i m not happy with the service and won t be taking my car there for service. I felt the price was high in general but was so excited so I just went with it, but that s on me! There was even a 2k+ certified inspection done on the car that was added to my bill which is whatever. But if you re going to do that- then why not fix the bad sensor that was found? The service team was pleasant, I think the service time was maybe a little longer than what I was expecting. Also I did not receive the car wash that you advertised. Hopefully my next service visit will be better.

Today Bradley provided me with excellent customer service in the Service Center. I went to get my car serviced with everything that was due to be serviced. I explained to him my budget and he suggested the most important things that was needed. Overall my experience was great and he was very knowledgeable and I trusted his recommendations.

I found a car on CarFax that I was interested in purchasing. I spoke with someone at the dealership and she confirmed that they had the car and it had passed safety inspection and was available to purchase. I inquired about the low price and asked if there was something wrong with the vehicle. She said nothing was wrong with it. I confirmed that I would come to the dealership today by 3pm. Upon arrival I am told the car is actually $7000 more than the advertised price. When I showed them the CarFax ad with the lower price then suddenly the car didn t pass their safety inspection and isn t for sale. What a waste of my time and an insult to my intelligence. Zero integrity at this dealership.
