This guy is unreliable, good talker and a liar. He really look like a crackhead at least that what I thought at first sight but because my partner recommended him to me and the work he ad done for him I went with him. Now I know he is a ripped off with a gift to gab, leave this guy alone eHe don't finish the job you can't get in touch with him he claim to have phone problems all the time and his girl friend be in on it with him, he is a hot mess. If some one recommend him to you run and run fast. Don't fall for thl lies. The car he rides around in is a sign as well. He's unorganized, tools every where and he talk more than he work. I blame me for falling for the trap but like the old saying goes fool me once.

Showed up on time, even picked me up from my house worked all throughout the day and night and even cut me a deal because previous mechanics misdiagnosed me. Highly recommend

I called him for a service, he agreed to do the service and told me he was on his way. He never showed and didn t answer my calls or text afterward. Very unprofessional .

L&J was a blessing to ME. I m new to Augusta, not knowing any reliable mechanics, having several tell me it was my rack and pinon. Even order the part that they claimed I needed. None of them showed up.I searched and found L&J, this young man came pronto. Showed him the part, he explained everything to me, even telling me that I might not need the part. Sure enough it was the wiring, I didn t mind giving him the price we had agreed upon for installation on something he didn t have to install. Even guaranteed his work for 6 months.Being a seasoned women his honesty meant more to me than the money, he even wrote down future things I should have checked out. Of course, he is the one that is going to do the work.I ve found a mechanic that I feel is reliable and honest. Check him out, you won t be disappointed.

After being stressed about my car engine and needing it fixed at a fair price I contacted Lynn. He came out promptly as he said he would. He was so knowledgeable about what was wrong and causing it to misfire. He fixed the problem changed what was needed and then some at the fair price he quoted me from the start. He knows his stuff without needing some big shop. I will definitely call him for any future repairs and I will highly recommend him to family and friends.Thank you Lynn! You made my day much better with your great service and caring about having my car working so I can get back and forth to work.

Awesome mechanic. I've been using this business for over a year now and I've never been disappointed. Works with you, responds quickly, arrives quickly, and fixes both my vehicles in excellent time with the best rates. I've called several companies before meeting him and since just to check others. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Lynn is great. He comes when I need him. He lets me drop off if I need to. He always advises how soon he'll be done if it's an hour or a few days. He's gone out of his way to rescue my daughter and/ or I when our cars needed service. I'm so glad I found him. He's always pleasant. He explains the problem and what he'd like to do to fix it to gain consent and clarity. EDIT: We had to take them to court to get our money back. NOT A MECHANIC. These guys will ruin your car and take advantage of you.This isn't even a business! It's a couple of guys doing it out of their yard in a trailer park. They have no idea what they are doing and strip bolts while they are doing it and that's if they remember to put them in! Worst "mechanic" I've ever seen, and isn't even qualified enough to be doing oil changes. He cross threaded the fitting on the radiator and we had to get a new radiator. The motor mounts were not bolted down. The AC compressor was not bolted in. It was missing an air compressor line. So much more wrong!! Was told everything would be fine for the engine swap and now I have no dipstick. The kid (Lynn Cummings) won't fix or finish the job and refuses to give back the money he "needed" to finish the job after being given MANY chances. See ya in court, Lynn!!

This man is genius. It was cold and I was on the side of the road with my baby. Don't know anyone around here and someone from Facebook referred me when I posted I needed help. He was very nice. I felt safe and assured that my car would be running again. And that it did he fixed it within 30 minutes don't ask me what he did but he did it. And I'm home safe with my baby and I'm not broke he was very affordable. Hands down best mechanic I have ever met thank you so much for being God's angel for women like me.!!!!!!

I m giving him a 3 star after contemplating a 1 Star. The mechanic showed up on time. He quoted me a price of 175.00 on the phone to replace my starter, which I had already diagnosed, but after realizing how complex it was, called me and said it would be 300.00. I negotiated the fee down to 240.00 and the work began. 3 hours later and working in the dark, he finished a very complex job. I felt he did a good job and went ahead and paid him the 300 anyways because he had diligently worked. My mistake was paying him BEFORE text driving the car to see if all was ok. I cranked the car and it was running rough. I called him back and he didn t answer. I text him. No answer. I simply wanted him to return and fix the problem. Well, 10 calls later, and no answer, I called from my wife s phone and he answered. He said he would come back the next day and fix it. He didn t. My father in law came over and found that two hoses were left disconnected. Had the mechanic just came back and connected them, I would have given him a 5 star. He knows what he is doing but didn t finish everything properly. Don t pay him until the job is 100% and there won t be a problem.

Great mechanic. He do good work and he's fast and did I forget to mention cheap you can't beat the deals that he have for the work that he do. I can actually say I am satisfied for the work he has done for my 2004 Dodge Durango I would recommend him to anyone that need their car fixed.

Still waiting on my refund for work that was never done. I do not recommend. Very inconsistent and unreliable. He will take your money and make excuses. Thought he was a good mechanic because of a previous job until he hustled me. Will NEVER refer anyone or use his services again. P.S. don't pay him until the work is finished!

I should have paid attention to the bad reviews but I always want to give people the benefit of the doubt. He came out on August 16th to replace my alternator. He bought his own alternator and said it only had 36,000 miles on it and if anything goes wrong just call and he will replace it. The alternator went out on September the 18th. I called him and of course he asks you to text him(don't really know what's that all about but I digress). He text back and said he can replace the alternator but he will have to charge a service fee. After going back and forth a couple of texts about why I had to pay a second fee for a job that he done less than a month ago I agreed to pay the fee. He said he will be out today or the next day for sure. Of course, he never showed and I text and called no answer. So, now I have to pay someone else to do the same job he didn't do a month ago. Taking him to small claims court would be a waste of time so I will just let God handle it because he teaches lessons man cannot.

I will never use again I do not know how he has 4.4 stars. Very unprofessional. He was supposed to put a motor in my expedition. He changed the price on me several times after he got my vehicle. He stated it would be better if I towed it to his shop. He does not have a shop he is working out of his trailer. The picture of the shop in his ad been closed down in Augusta GA off of Gordon Hwy. He put the motor in but after he did and started it up he said the car was backfiring and almost caught fire. He demanded I come get it. I told him I was at work he said in a text I need your car moved today cause he was tired of messing with it. I got off work and towed my car back to my house. I will never use him again. He still demanded money cause he said he put alot of work in. I paid him cause he did do some of the work and he demanded the money. But my car was still not fixed. Another mechanic looked at it and he had the firing order wrong

Knowledgeble, fair pricing, and prompt. Had issues with vehicle and being new to Augusta area did not know who to reach. L&J came promptly to my location, took me to pick up new part, and had job know in no time. Would definitely use again!

If I could give 0 stars, I would give 0 stars repeatedly. I contacted this "business" about repairs for my vehicle. Whomever answered, at first, seemed professional. Aside from the "im ready to get under your hood" comment which I brushed off as mechanic lingo. Anywho, when discussing the problem with the vehicle, he asked the make, model, and year to which I provided all answers. However when he got into specifics of the EXACT model (which, i am still unsure about being that I did not purchase said vehicle) I responded with an unsure "sure". He immediately HUNG UP ON ME! Worst customer service EVER!!!! His previous reviews were very misleading. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone, he is unprofessional. His integrity has me questioning his business as a whole.

On the way to Atlanta, my husband's truck broke down on the side of I-20. L&J was the only person willing to come out to help us. He work on the car throughout the night in the rain, although at first we thought the initial was fixed in turned out to be a bigger problem. We ended up have to spend the night in Aiken. The next day the truck was fixed properly and we were finally back on the road home. Thanks again for helping us in a stressful situation.

He slept through our appointment a few times n then he never showed up n when he supposively fixed my engine light nope it's still there he also supposed changed out my box sensor he didn't so so my car is barely hanging on n then he cut the catalliac converters put of my other car without permissionServices: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repairServices: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

All I needed was my tire to be changed because the last time my tires got rotated , they tightened the lug nuts so much it made it almost impossible for my boyfriend to get it off. We called and he came within 30 mins. It took about 30 mins to do it and he was able to get the lug nuts off and change my tire for me. He was very kind and I plan to call him from now on for any auto needs !

I was so happy to have had Met Lynn!!! He owns and runs a fair, honest business, and does EXACTLY what he says!!! If as in my case, your vehicle has more than one issue...He will tell you, show you, explain it to you

Do not use. Complete scam. Paid him to work on my wife's car. It's been 4 days since the last time I heard from him and the engine is completely torn apart. You will be found and taken to court. 0 stars

I've had the pleasure to do business with one of if not best mechanic I've come in contact with. He's very efficient, knowledgeable, and reasonable. Professionalism speaks for itself I would recommend anyone with no hesitation.

I am very disappointed by the response I received from this company. My wife's car died on Friday evening and I called to see if they could come to our home Saturday morning, the person I spoke with assured me that would not be a problem.It is now Saturday morning, an hour and a half after we talked about him being at our home. I have not received a call, he has not responded to my texts, and my calls go straight to voicemail.

Absolutely a great find.!! my car stopped in the middle of travel I had no clue why ..it never has happened before. Lynn came , diagnosed, and fixed the problem and a couple of others too! Awesome and quick!!! Thanks for all your help!

This mechanic knows what he is doing, friendly, and is the only mechanic that could figure out my A.C. system. And he his prices are great! Call him if you need anything.

Competitive estimate, prompt and punctual, and did a fantastic job on the plug coils and plugs for my f150. Would absolutely hire again.
