I m reviewing the service department as I took my VW in for its 30k maintenance. Making an appointment online was simple and streamlined. Easy to change the appointment too. Everyone at the Dealership and Service Department was friendly and welcoming. I waited while service was performed. Nice ample waiting areas with drinks and snacks provided.

Hands down, GJV offered us the very best service we have ever had at a car dealership. We started out by contacting them via the website chat option, and we were then connected with a wonderful lady named Liz. Not only did Liz answer every single question we had, but she guided us through the entire process with kindness and patience. The level of service we received from Liz, Ben, and Vicky helped us make the decision to purchase our very first brand new vehicle. We ll definitely be telling people about this location. For the first time ever, we weren t treated like unworthy nuisances and we re beyond grateful.

After spending about 6 weeks going back and forth with dealerships in the Charleston area (being lied to, numbers changing, etc) and not being able to make a deal, my husband happened to find a vehicle very close to what we were looking for here (we preferred a different color but the one we bought was our second choice). He sent a message with the numbers we needed to be at and had a response within 10-15 min right where we needed to be. Everything went so smoothly, there was no back and forth and they even met us halfway with the vehicle (in Columbia, SC).

I bought four vehicles from this dealership by far the best dealership in town and I've bought a car from almost everyone in town. Great service! Great financing and great sales.a shout out to Vicky and Haven for making it another great experience. But all their entire sales team is great.

Freda Bradshaw encouraged me to not delay in getting my tires rotated because it would lengthen the performance and life the tires. Also, She asked," would you like to get a car wash today also". That was a welcomed task, especially since Covet had interrupted service so much. So, I got a free car wash. Then like she suggested, I went straight on to Fire Stone and they gave me fast service there and checked all the tire pressures. I had a great service day. Thanks!

Giving 4 stars because, I believe the prices were a bit high. Little to no compensation package with the higher price tag when it would have been nice to have a little more for the higher price tag. However, the Sales Consultant Haven Brown did a fantastic job in helping us understand the many reasons why we should purchase the vehicle, which is why I'm rating the 4 Stars.

My son is the primary user of the vehicle. He took the vehicle in because it was making weird sound from the wheel. He was told that wheel bearing was on back order. When I was told about that, I asked him if he was told anything else from the maintenance. He said he was told that he will get notified once the order comes through. So I called the dealership to ensure that he is safe to drive the vehicle with bad wheel bearing. I was told that he should not be driving the vehicle. I hope someone from the service would have told my son that he should not be driving. Because by the time I contacted the dealership, he has been driving around at his college. Luckily, nothing happened but would like to recommend to ensure that the drivers understand what is wrong with the vehicle. Especially young drivers that does not know anything about the vehicles. Either way, his orders came through, I was able to get it fixed and deliver it back to his college.

I rate the sales dept a 3 out of 5 for being typical lying sales people, but ultimately getting a deal done. I rate the service dept with ZERO STARS due to poor management and customer service. Find out for yourself if you wish! The reason their service dept is a lot less busy than any nearby VW dealers should tell you something...

William Walker assisted my girlfriend and I in getting a car. We went in quite skeptical as I m not honestly super fond of car salesmen and I ve just had bad experiences with them. Honestly, we really enjoyed our experience as he was super friendly, very much personable and honest. When we arrived he had the car pulled up and ready for us, immediately he let us test drive it alone and I think that was a wonderful impression. Every financial question we had he stayed straight with us and there was no beating around the bush. As we waited for the bank to get us approved, we left and came back and he remembered our names and greeted us very warmly. It was a great deal and a wonderful experience and I d recommend him to anyone.

I was very disappointed when i was told my tires could not be rotated and balanced because they were after market rims, i have service tickets showing my tires have been rotated and balanced before so this news was a surprise to me. Service Advisor need to review customers vehicle history before telling them somthing can't happen.

Leased a VW Tiguan from here back in October. Liz was great and patiently explained all our options and took the time to show us vehicles that fit our requirements. At no point did she try to pressure us into anything, and we got a great deal. Dave was also great in explaining the terms of our lease agreement. It was our first time leasing a vehicle and it was an overall a positive experience!

The simplest of services, the VW's 10k mileage Carefree Maintenance service. I've a long relationship with Freda Bradshaw and she is the best. Professional, courteous, with a nice compliment about my new VW. I'm happy.

First time purchasing anything other than a Ford and couldn t be more pleased and impressed. From the first moment we stepped into the showroom we were treated phenomenally. From our salesperson Consuella to the GM Ms. Vicki and our finance rep Mr. Bill. We were taken care of every step of the way, shown patience because we asked a lot of questions and overall just felt really taken care of. Gerald Jones VW is incredible. Super impressed too that the GM is situated right out front and answers the main phone and she isn t hidden in some back office like I ve seen at many other dealerships. 10/10 highly recommend!

First let me say the sales rep who sold me my vehicle was awesome. I've brought cars from him before mostly Hondas so I always delt with the service department at Honda. This is the first time I Buy a Volkswagen. So being that VW is still under the Gerald Jones Corporation I expected to get the same type of service I got when I use to take my Hondas to get serviced. Boy was I wrong!!! I only had my car for two weeks my sales rep assured me I have a warranty and the rattling sound the car was making should be covered to call VW and get it serviced. I set my appointment come in that day and the service technician I got was a man name Kieth . When I explained what's going on with the vehicle he treated me as I didn't know what I was talking about and even told me I don't even need the appointment tried to rush me off and send me on my way with out checking my concern. I said to him how can you tell me it's making normal sound with out test driving it like I ask you to because the sound happens when the car is on drive and you press on the brakes and you hear it more when the air or heat is on. So after asking him more then once he finally test drove it like I asked him to and heard the noise for himself. So they kept the appointment. They didn't offer me a loaner vehicle or nothing like most dealerships would when getting your car serviced. I had a co worker come get me I dropped my car off at 845am my appointment was at 9. All day I waited to hear back from Kieth nothing the next day nothing I had to reach out to the sales rep who sold me my vehicle and speak with the service dept at Honda to get an answer from Kieth at VW. It took 3 days for me to get my car back and guess what the engine mounts had to be replaced because they were worn out on my vehicle that I just purchased 2 weeks ago.For me that wasn't the problem I understand when a car needs work it needs work. My problem is the lack of Customer Service and Communication I did not get from Kieth my service technician. I work and have a Job just like he does I deal with the general public just like he does and I had to figure out how to get to and from work for 3 days because of the lack of communication. Had he communicated with me better. I could have made better arrangements been more prepared to not have my vehicle for that long and could have been more understanding. Instead he gave the energy that he did not value me as a customer and did not want to deal with me at all from the time I pulled up to that service station at VW and Audi. Honestly for what you spend on having these types of vehicles you would think the Customer Service would be way better then what it is. When I finally was able to pick up my vehicle I was greeted by a lady I believe her name is Freda, I rather deal with her the next time I need my car serviced at VW but Kieth discouraged me from ever wanting to buy another Audi or VW ever in my life. Next time I want to buy another car from Gerald Jones I'll stay on the Honda side. I know a Honda is not an Audi or Mercedes Benz but the customer service you get from Honda exudes Mercedes Benz Quality. They say one bad apple can rott an entire tree at VW and Audi that bad apple was Kieth for me .

I live in Virginia. I was on a road trip home from Florida back to Virginia and went out of my way to drive into Augusta, GA to visit Gerald Jones Volkswagen. This is the only place I am willing to by a car, especially a VW. My last car I bought from there died last year and I had to buy something from a local dealer in VA. It was a mediocre experience, the new car was terribly underwhelming, and their service department was very rude. I stopped into Gerald Jones VW to ask Sonny Tucker to help me trade-in my car for my ninth car from them. I knew I could trust Sonny Tucker and that the Gerald Jones VW team would respect my time and get me back on the road to Virginia in a timely manner.

Going to Gerald Jones VW we knew exactly the sales person we wanted to work with. William Walker had some great reviews so we worked with him on buying our used Toyota Rav4.William was very Professional and negotiated a fair deal up front.We Thank William for his attention to making our deal happen and hats off to everyone at the Gerald Jones dealership for the overall experience.

So I have to leave a review about Brad! The energy and approach of the entire team is personable without pressure or haggling. Also specifically I was going through a big health transition and they made sure I didn t have to add any concern with the character of the sales experience. Brad made sure I was taken care of, communicated well and wanted me to have no gray area about the details involved in the sale. Another part of this is my old vehicle had come to its end and I was concerned on multiple levels and for them as a team to express naturally a humanity and authentic engagement was comforting to say the least! I left with a vehicle that brought me joy, met my needs and I also was clear that I had a vehicle that would give me premium performance

It was one of my best experiences buying a car! My family arrived at VW looking for financing a standard sedan, but we left the store leasing a Tiguan . All different than we thought just because Mr. William Walker asked us the right questions, gave us all the available options, got support from a VIP team at financing and sales, which allowed us to make the best decision for our family.If you go at VW, ask to talk with Mr. William Walker, if you leave not buying, at least you will get a free boost in your mood, serious, the guy has such a energy.

Visited Gerald Jones VW dealership recently to check out a couple of vehicles we liked online and had the absolute pleasure of meeting Mr. William Walker.He asked us all the right questions from the get go, and never tried to pressure us into looking at something outside of what we actually wanted. He was fast to get us what we needed done on a time crunch, patient with us, and honestly my face still hurts from smiling and laughing so much that day, surprising because auto shopping can be stressful.Everyone was so kind, helpful, and thoughtful! I got major family vibes from the whole VW staff. They were super sweet to our little one and made the long part more bearable for him. William introduced us to everyone we d need to speak with and kept us busy during the waiting part, which I am SO thankful for. They informed us of everything without pressuring us to buy more than we needed.Feeling in control of such a big purchase and decision was a nice change of pace. Couldn t beat the price they gave us on our VW Jetta trade in, or the price of the vehicle and protection we selected. Absolutely obsessed with my new VW Tiguan (best anniversary gift ever!).Highly highly recommend this location and if you go, ask for William!

My oil was changed successfully, however, I was told that it would $950 just to change my brakes and rotors. That is completely unacceptable. Also, after getting my vehicle back the engine light came on and has not gone off.

Had the best experience yesterday with the Gerald Jones VW team! Decided to trade in my 2018 Chevrolet Malibu for a 2022 VW Taos. I was treated like pure gold by Consuella, Bill, and general manager, Vickie, despite my millions of questions and late-night purchase. This awesome group went out of their way to help me stay in budget for my purchase while ensuring I was comfortable the entire time. They are patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I usually would give four stars to state always room for improvement. This time it's a five star, not only were they able to get the free oil change in, they did it a day prior to long distance travel. That goes above and beyond knowing that normally things are scheduled a few weeks in advance. Very professional and extremely helpful!

I had a wonderful experience here. The salesperson Liz and sales manager Victoria are awesome, working patiently with me and never being aggresive. Finally settled on a Tiguan and could not be happier. This is my 4th VW, will definitely buy from here again.
