Thee absolute worst place!! Below average customer service!! Seems to be ran by some Grumpy older guy with no patience for customers at least not black ones any way!! And he rebuilt the transmission on my 2009 Tahoe for around $3500 in December of 2021 only for it fail 2 years later after the warranty!! Go figure!! So I asked if they'd at least offer a discount since it was his work that failed he readily said that there would be no type of discounts and I would just have to pay for another rebuild!!! Definitely unsatisfied!!! I wish Google had a zero star option because that's what they deserve!!

1st time called, attendant hung up the phone. 2nd attempt, was informed that she had just left for lunch and will call back. Never received a return call. Poor customer service

Don t waste your money or time with this family owned business. I wouldn t even recommend them to my worse enemy. We took it back to them, twice, letting them know it s still slipping. They told us nothing was wrong with it. Now here we are, not even 6,000 miles on the rebuilt transmission, and it s toast again.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Would not take my car there, they riped me off. Kept said that my car was fixed, it was not. Now telling me they can not find my papers with warranty on it.Would not even give them a one star. I called them to discuss about my warranty. The owner himself hung up on me. I was talking to him nicely. I am a Christian and always believe in doing the right things. Well If I was any of you, would not go there for them to work on your transmission. They were suppose to rebuild mine, what they did instead. Was to get on of there shelf, first tried to tell me that they did rebuild mine. That's what I paid them to do but not what they did. Warning stay away from this place

My son took his truck to have a new trans put in. He didn't even get what he asked for. He got his old trans rebuilt and still not right. He has taken it 3 times to get fixed and that old man told him that that so called warranty that he gave him wouldn't cover the parts. So he had to paid more money.In the end his truck isn't fixed and is going to another trans shop to get fixed. I will never recommend this place to anyone. They will rob you blind.Service: Transmission

Worst ever..2800 later.. mustang ..had to return..would drive..out of his lot ...kept it 6 weeks..takes three days..an now has terrible harmonic vibration..I'm like u..best place ever..not now...total embarrassment..lousy.. everything..find another.. please....

Had a transmission replaced here about a month ago. The truck started making a loud whining sound 5 days ago. Drove the truck to cheesborough s so they could see what was wrong with it being has I have a 3 year warranty. Some old man got in the truck and drove it around the block and told me there s no odd sounds coming from my truck. Now 5 days later the truck is broke down and will not go into any gear but reverse.I called today and the same old man answered the phone. Told him my problem and now he s telling me I told him the wrong year of truck and that he doesn t know anything about my warranty. To top it off he said I don t know lady, call back at 10 and hung up on me.Service: Transmission

Best Customer Service and great job on repairs! Julie and her Father Mr. Cheesborough are quite the team. They are personable, trustworthy, and they know their business. My husband wouldn't trust anyone else to work on his cars.

I own a heating and air company with a fleet of service vans, Cheesborough's keeps our vans in tip top shape. They have also worked on the transmissions of our personal automobiles and have always taken great care of us with both, our business and personal vehicles. We were quoted double the rate at the dealership, and we could not be happier with our decision to allow Cheesboroughs to do the work. They are now our first call when we have a need for our vehicles.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I ve had to take a chevy silverado back 4 times to get it correct. The last time i picked it up there was ants everywhere in it due to one of the employees leaving food in it.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I needed to have my daughters transmission replaced. I went to Cheesborough's and was given awesome service. It was ready when they said it would be and the price was very reasonable. I was even given a warranty. Employees super nice.

First I would like to thank Julie for her patience and professionalism in dealing with my warranty company, also Mr. Lee and this team for their great work on my transmission. Cheeseborough Transmission has provided nothing but top notch service and professionalism. I highly recommend.

Had my transmission fixed in Chattanooga. Rear seal was leaking was under warranty. First thing owner tells me is gears transmission is not one of them so no warranty. Show him my paperwork and says they charged you good for a transmission. Call gears in Chattanooga they talk with this owner. Gets the seal replaced for me and pays this shop on the spot. And they are part of ARTA group after all if only this shop would of looked. Poor customer service. Spend your money elsewhere. And get the customer service you should get.

These guys are great. Took a pick up truck to them with a bad vibration that no one else could figure out, they test drove it one day and put it on a lift the next. Found an out of balance driveshaft, and fixed in same day. Truck drives great. Will be back!

They don't stand behind their work. Gave me a warranty for my work that was done and then I started having problems with my car they claim my car was out of warranty. It could not have been I was not able to drive it.

Great costumer service. I was broke down during a trip and needed parts. They only had some because of my older vehicle but they took their time , made some calls and wound up getting me what I needed. It was really above and beyond. Thank you

I was told that my Mazda van needed a new rear end for around $2000.00I took it to cheesborough's and they diagnosed it as a loose pinion nut which they tightened for $50.00 and that took care of my problem.I highly recommend them.

He doesn't honor the warrenty that he gives you he just tries to find a way to blame you well got my results today from the crooked RC court system today in the mail and it said that I didn't prove my case why should you have to prove a warranty when I had 12 months or 12k miles warrenty .it had been only 800 miles and 2months I don't care if you have to do it right 10 times as long as is under warranty .But that's the crooked RC court system for you.

OK so I got a price from them the other day for a 4l60e was quoted $830 so I get on their website to do some research and check the reviews and I seen on there it said 4l60e specials $895 with the exchange of your old one,so I called back today 9:30 AM and this gentleman picked up the phone and yea so I asked about the pricing on it again and the website he said the transmission is $1850 I was like well why does the website say 895 and he was like shit date what the prec is 1850 date s all i no,just extremely rude and unprofessional I would definitely not do business with them hate to see how the transmission actually worked , I mean the Chevrolet dealership stiller ship wanted $ 1500 with a three year unlimited mile warranty . The way I look at it Cheeseborough transmission is kinda like the maaco pant shop of transmission s.

Well I had my tranmmission rebuilt at Cheesborough's the did a OUTSTANDING job on my truck and I would recommend anyone to there shop very very friendly people

They over charge, took two and a half weeks kept giving me different dates bad customer service horrible, I guess it the owner a really old guy really needs to be home, he do not need to be talking to customers i didnt want to here how difficult the job is not from a transmission shop, and how why they are buying parts as needed you know you going to need a wave plate it less then $7 and they still charged me $3318
