My fiance ( Robinson), took my car (Black q50 infinity) here on a Friday to get a diagnosis because it kept cutting off.He called almost everyday the following week for results. Each time they stated that they would call us with status by the end of day. That never happened. They never gave follow up. Finally the next Thursday my fiance called & they stated the diagnosis showed there's nothing wrong. The next day, I headed to an appointment & my car shut of in the middle of traffic for about 30 min. My family came out & they pushed car to safe locationMy fiance looked under the hood & trunk because we have 2 batteries. The battery in the trunk was disassembled. He hooked it up & so far so good. What professional wouldn't know this? Not only was the car out for a week this company showed no sense of urgency or no communication unless we called them. I would not recommend this company. Don't trust this company!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

All I needed was an emissions test, but it was honestly the quickest experience I've ever had at a mechanic's shop. Literally sat down for 3 minutes and they told me my car was ready. Quick and efficient.

I own a shop in Eatonton Ga. This customer tows in a truck with a fuel leak. Butler Automotive did repairs charged well for the repairs however short changed the customer on warranty. Butler gives a 12/12 warranty per their invoice. The part that they used provides 36/36 warranty from the manufacture. I did reach out to Butler Automotive as courtesy today from one shop to another but was met with resistance. I'm working with the manufacture of the part to get it warrantied as it should be done. the injection pump was installed 14 months ago with 455 miles put on it. Butler offered nothing outside of our warranty is 12/12. Chose your shops carefully. Customer Service must be provided!

Miko got our 1989 VW Cabriolet in for repairs to get the car running properly. I could not find any other shops in the area to even work on it due to the age of the car and it not being an air cooled VW. They got it running great and my wife is thrilled to be able to cruise with here cabby. Thank you!

I brought my car here because the check engine light came on. Bob was very helpful at explaining what was wrong with the exhaust system, what options I had for repairs and the cost was given to me upfront. We had an appointment for Tuesday at 7 am. We called on Wednesday for status and they told us they needed a deposit for the work on my husband's 95 GMC. I gave it to them and checked on it next day they said they were trying to find the correct part because they got the wrong one. We told them we just needed it fixed because there was a lot of work being done they put the old parts back on in less than an hour but had the truck 3 days and gave me my deposit back. Didn't fix a thing! They like easy fixed and easy money!Service: Auto A/C replacement

Love this place! People are so nice and quick at service, their parking lot is a bit small but that's alright lol pricing is fair but expensive for my taste but they do a good job for their prices so I can't complain about that

If I could give this place a zero I would. I was charged for an issue tha didn t even fix my car it made it way worse. And now I can t get a refund because they said it was a necessary fix but now my car is inoperable and dangerous to drive on the road.

Charged me $179 for a DIAGNOSTIC and tried to tell me that a tail light would cost me almost $100. I went and got it done for $15 somewhere else and received a quote for less than half of what I was told at butler. Ridiculous. Not sure if I was profiled or if this is just standard for them but either way, zero stars.

Don t take your car here unless you have an extra arm and a leg to pay for their labor. I m not making this up see the picture I took.I am just livid. I took my car in because I m from out of town and my check engine light came on. The only thing that actually was wrong with the vehicle was the knock sensor and circuit needed replaced. The guy told my wife oh yah based on the car s mileage you need coolant, transmission fluid and spark plugs replaced too. Ridiculous! My car only has 60,000 miles on it! And to do all that over $1,100 in labor! I went to go pick it up and the guy wouldn t tell me why I had to pay $1,400 until after I paid.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I went in yesterday to have my rotors and brakes replaced. The staff was very hospitable and friendly! The price was very affordable and Brent (I hope that's his name), tried to get my total price as close to my estimate cost! That was greatly appreciated. I was in and out in less than 2 hours! Thank you guys and I will be bringing car here from now on!

Butler will tow your vehicle as well as repair it. Need tires? They shop around to get you the best price they can. Never take your car there! They lie and manipulate you into services not needed. I took my car here a few months ago because it wouldn't start. They quoted me a price of over a thousand dollars. I asked the guy what all needs to be done for that price. He said tires and I said take the tires off that put it to a little over 800$ and I said what else is needed bottem line he was manipulative in his answer. Fast forward today my car is in the shop again but I refused to take it back to them. I called to find out what all was warranted on the work I had done, the guy looks in the system and says let's see we did brakes changed the battery and replaced the thermostat. I was livid I said Brakes!!? I didn't need brakes I had recently had a major brake job done including rotors there was no way my car needed brakes. If I have my car towed in because it wouldn't start why would I need a brake job. I will never use them again. I will find out tomorrow what's really wrong with my car but it's definitely not brakes.

Well they charged me $140.89 for a part that only cost $63.99 at Autozone and the diagnostic cost was not deducted from the repair cost. That's usually done at other places. But, the service was great and staff very professional. I've had repairs here before that I was satisfied with. I just believe this one was very over-priced.***Update*** Immediately after my initial post Butler contacted me to see if there was anything they could do. They were able to accommodate me by adjusting the price on the part and diagnostic. I was impressed with their quick response. I will return to Butler for future repairs.

I initially advised my office manager to use another shop that I have used in the past to repair her defective blower motor. Her initial quote from that shop was over $1100 with a 2 day turn around. We called Butler, Kenny was more than willing to discuss her issues.. We took her car at noon. The work was completed by 4pm. At a savings of $700 off the other shops quote.. Not only has Butler Automotive gained a repeat customer. I also will be using them in the future for all my family's automotive needsI appreciate the honesty, professionalism and integrity demonstrated by Kenny and the Butler staff that we encountered today. It's been just over a year since I had work done on my car from Butler. I had extensive work which cost over 3,000.00. So this is the time the review will come in handy to anyone doing major auto repair to their vehicles. When I took my car in, the staff was friendly and very curtious. The repair took some time, about two and a half weeks. I was told they rebuilt my engine. But now that I need work done on the same vehicle, not only has my warranty expired, but they now claim they just replaced the heads. So now I'm wondering exactly what it was they did, and really am doubting the quality of the work. Had I known before hand the warranty of their work was only 1 year, I believe I would have took my car to the dealer. So I suppose if your getting just the lube and oil change, yeah butler is the way to go. Anything major I recommend going to a dealer.

They do good work and when they give you an estimate they stand behind it. I paid for 1hr. Labor, and it took 3. The extra time to get it done was my fault, and the still only charged 1 hr labor. Great people to work with.

Went there to get my AC fixed a few months ago. I wasn't happy about the nearly $1,200 bill, but I was glad that they allowed me to pay half at that time, and half a month later. A short 5 weeks after I got the AC fixed, it was blowing warm air; so I had to take it back. They gladly corrected the issue. Another 3-4 weeks after that, it stopped working, again, so I took it back. Again. This time they fixed my faulty compressor. I give 3 stars because I shouldn't have had to return 2 times after getting this work "professionally" done on my car. It was a huge inconvenience for me. I understand mistakes happen, we are all human, but this being my first time using Butler, I'm a little surprised. Great people, I just didn't want to have to come back so soon after getting the work done.

I have taken all my cars here several times in the past. One of my cars was literally on its last leg and the guy working on it flat out told me it wouldn't be worth fixing everything that was wrong with the car because it was so old and the cost of repair was almost triple what it was worth. That kind of honesty you can't find everywhere. A lot of places would have taken my money kept me coming back. By far the best place I have ever been.

Went here for service on my mustang. Took to two other places first and they could not figure out what was wrong with it because no lights were on. In and out in less then a day and I mustang does not smell like burning oil anymore and is not smoking. Thanks for being a good out of town mechanic that I needed!!

On October 2018, my grandmother went to get her car serviced. They gave her a 12,000 miles or 12 month guarantee but within 3 weeks, she had to return to get the same part replaced. The second time it lasted 8 months before needing to get it fixed for a third time. She will go elsewhere for her services.

Out of towners and in a jam. Late in the afternoon high squeaky noise coming from our brakes. Called Butler, they said come right over. Short time later, said all is fine. Rock stuck in the wheel, be on your way, have a good trip. They were so kind and helpful. Wish we lived in Augusta and could use them all the time!

Butler automotive is a little bit more expensive, but, they are well worth the price! Guaranteed their work for a full year afterwards. Also, they were very communicative. I think I will be going back there again to get other things done for sure!

I ORIGINALLY GOT MYCAR TOWED THEIR IN APRIL FOR brake issues chancey dropped off my car I called during the day and was told they hadn't had a chance to look at it hopefully it would be by the next day they would have a answer I called the next morning and spoke to the person I originally set my appointment with to be told was I sure my car was there and asked to describe my car .I get a callback saying I apologize your car sat in the back all day with the car running I had high hopes of the issue getting fixed now I have another issue I expected more from a well known company Service: Brakes
