Impressed! I have used this place 3 times now, and with all satisfactory results over the last 2yrs. Always a friendly face and honest work! Operating my own business makes it really hard to do without my most used tool, my truck. I called today at 11, made an appointment for 1230, dropped my work truck off, and hoped that they could evaluate it and repair it before closing @ 430pm. I knew my brakes front and rear were going to need a complete overhaul.....because I had been doing the minimum for years. Yep, the front new rotors & pads ( which they warrantied, without me asking) and the back, new drums, shoes and brake cylinders (leaking for years). They truck stops like new again and the guys stayed after closing to finish it, so I would have it for work tomorrow!!All I really want to say is, Thank You!Great work, by trustworthy people, at an affordable price!Derek

Came in to be greeted by a very sweet and professional front desk lady Miss Olivia. She went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. Definitely recommend this shop and her!

I had called a week prior to my appointment and was told it would only be 150.00 to put my brakes and rotors on if I already had them which I did! Once we got there even though my appointment was at 10 am I wasn't seen until 11am and he tells me it's gonna be 269.00 I say nope put my car back together I will go some where else who's honest. I did too. I will never use the company again. Thou shall not lie!

Had the brakes bled. They inspected the brakes. The tech called to let me know the rear shoes needed adjustment. Completed the work within a couple of hours. No issues. Staff was pleasant and they beat the competition's price by around 20%.

If your buying a burger that comes with fries and a drink,...it's a package/meal-deal. If you want just the burger,...the price, without doubt, is significantly reduced to what you are receiving. Here at Brakes 4 Less, that principle does NOT apply. If you don't need your rotors turned but just need pads replacing,...you/me/we will still be charged the same as if you actually paid a technician to physically turn your rotors. This is illogical, unethical and ridiculously asinine. I can't think of any other establishment that does NOT alter or make considerations in terms of selling their goods, products or services. I feel that I am entitled to a refund and an answer that makes sense to the majority of the population. Paul DeanThe 3 star is not a reflection of the service nor the staff. They were very professional , timely and courteous. I fact my rating is a ONE STAR grade on their policy that needs to be rectified.

I've used Brakes for Less twice and I must say they are very honest and saved me a substantial amount of money. I don't live in the Augusta area but I can assure you, I'll travel back for future brake jobs and service.

Took my car in for a break inspection appointment at 3. The manager Joe came and told me that I did need new breaks. He said that he could get it done today and it was 3:37 on a Friday. They close at 430! But he said since they already had my car taken apart it should only take 1 1/2 hours. I know it is Friday and the guys wanted to go home for the day but I was walking out the door with new breaks at 430! The young girl who was still in training was very friendly!I 100% highly recommend going to this Breaks for Less location.Thanks Joe and your TEAM!!Service: Brakes

This shop has been put through stress test after stress test and always comes out on top. Rick, Joe, Brandon (just to name a few) make up a crew with serious attention to detail. This shop provided honest and thorough services to our newer model Explorer and warrantied every bit of it. We've taken a few cars to this shop and never had a problem. A++ would highly recommend!

Got my cars brakes serviced. Price was good and the service done appears to be good. However when I received my car the battery was drained all the way and there was an issue with my transmission that did not exist before dropping the car off to them. I ended up getting the battery recharged at 0 cost at Advanced Auto Parts and had another store look at my transmission. The O2 sensor was left unplugged. An easy fix at 0 cost to me. So I did not pay anything extra except for some added stress and being down a car for 3 whole days trying to figure this all out. All in all not the best experince..Edit: one of the parts they received to put in my car ended up being faulty. I brought the car back in and they got a new part in and fixed everything up without charging any extra. Appreciate the professionalism of the store through this issue. First off; I read the reviews on here, particularly the low ratings and was hesitant to come here or even get my service done here. I went on a Monday afternoon knowing that I needed to get service but to what level I was not sure.I checked my truck in to get the diagnostic done. They put it up and told me what I expected but also gave some news that was good. I have had brake service in the past on other vehicles and usually when rotors fail they will tell you need new clamps (which might be the case sometimes I am sure) but in this case they were intact. They do rotor resurfacing here which many places DON'T do! The gave me two options at different price points (one temporary fix which would keep me going for a time and the other the proper fix for trouble free service). I opted for the trouble free fix and approved for the work to commence.While waiting for the repair a person came in a brake problem on his truck (2017 model). He described the problem and Brandon the service associate there started to describe details of the truck (ie - the year, mileage, etc -all without seeing the truck) and explained to the customer that the truck (the Customer had) has had issues and why it it did this AND told him that there was a recall for this very problem; that it was covered by the factory warranty. He offered to ensure it indeed was the problem free of charge and recommended the customer take it to the dealer to get it fixed BECAUSE it was a costly repair. He did this, the customer went to the dealer after leaving and my truck was done in an hour and change.If these guys aren't about the service or customer satisfaction and you leave here thinking you were ripped off or something then either you are nefarious, dishonest, or maybe had a small issue that might have been missed but con artists these people aren't. My truck feels great to drive and if or when I need ANY brake service again it will be at this location. Ask for Brandon the brake whisperer!!Best service ever!!! - yes this is a real review. i went here to get a professional opinion on my rotors for this used car i just bought becuase they seemed pretty bad but was maybe hopefully that something could still be done. when they first looked at them they were skeptical as to whether or not they could be resurfaced however they did it anyways (probably just to get a quick $100). they should ve just told me that they couldn t be resurfaced instead of taking my money because i still have to buy new rotors as they are causing my brakes to pulsate. will not be coming here again.

Everyone was so nice and extremely helpful with finding uncommon parts for my fiat500 in such a short amount of time. The team fixed my brakes and rotors within a hour or two. My car is driving so much more smoothly and I appreciate Rick giving me options on what I wanted to have done on my car after inspection. I will definitely be back for all my auto needs! Do not get your brakes done here. Go to Peach Orchard Rd and let Troy and his guys do them. This Washington Rd location is the worst. They replaced my brakes and rotors on 3/30/2023 and today on 4/12/2023 my brakes and rotors are scrubbing and grinding like they were the day that I brought them in. I was charged $500 for the front brake pads and rotors only, even though their prices list highest amount is $399 for front and rear. Save yourself the trouble, because I was told by their customer service agents, in order to get a refund that I would have to return their parts which is fine, but I have to basically get another brake job which cost more money and bring them the parts back before I can get my money back or let them correct their mistake with the warranty putting my vehicle at risk again. Their customer service agents are the rudest people which would make since if they are doing shifty brake jobs.

Back again (Nov 2023 with a new rare car 1 of 500 for 1986). Joe and the crew set up an appointment for a full shop effort to review and inspect the 1986 Bertone. There is good Old School knowledge with Joe. Nice Work.First review (1980 MGB) Was able to see Joe for an inspection of my (40 old) braking system. Usually I do the work, but since Brakes4Less came to town....it will be best to have professionals execute these tasks. Brakes done correctly are of paramount concern for classic cars. Joe took the time to gently inspect/review my work. All is safe. Nice to have Joe and Brakes4Less now in Augusta GA. Thanks.

I had the front and rear brakes replaced on my vehicle. This particular vehicle has brake wear sensors on the passenger side front and rear brake pads. I was told the sensors were bad and I declined to have they replaced. I ordered new sensors and while attempting to install them, I learned the original brake wear sensors were not reinstalled with the new pads and caused a warning light on my dash. These sensors are reusable and they were no warning lights prior to the brake job. The worst part is they left a locking clip off of the retaining bolt for the brake pads. This is a huge safety issue as the bolt could have came out while driving. I was then forced to check all 4 locations to ensure the locking clips were installed.Service: Brakes

Rick and Joe were phenomenal. They did a great job, treated me like family from the moment I walked in the door and took INCREDIBLE care of my car. Will not go ANYWHERE else but here. Love these guys!
