Don't waste your time or money at this dealer. Brought my 4runner in for the 50k service and was told, "Toyota requires an alignment at 50,000 miles," even though I told him my vehicle tracks straight and has no pull or vibration in the steering wheel. Well, now my SUV pulls, and the steering wheel shakes. These advisors and technicians have no idea what they're doing. I'll never go back to this dealer again.Edited to add: this was the last place that my oil got changed. I normally do all the maintenance on my cars, but since the 4Runner came with oil changes, I used those, so this was the first time I did my own on this vehicle. I had to use an impact air wrench to get the oil filter housing off because they torqued it so tight. It only needs 25 Nm, but apparently, somebody decided that they needed to tighten it so that it would never come off again. Of course, it's a cheap plastic housing, so it broke coming off. Please do not bring your vehicles here to be serviced. These inept clowns have absolutely no idea what they're doing.

I have had my 2019 Tacoma serviced exclusively at World Toyota for nearly 4 years now - they have done every scheduled service since 5K miles. Last summer I took the truck for service before taking a road trip from Georgia to Pennsylvania. 2 issues occurred. Prior to taking it in, I noticed the tire pressure was not the same on all 4 tires. The front left tire was considerably lower. It didn t trigger a warning light right away, so I didn t think much about it. About a week after the service, the warning light came on, and it turned out to be a nail in the front left tire, which I had repaired at a shop by my home. At the time, I remember feeling that this felt like something that could have been caught as part of the routine inspection that is allegedly done as part of the regular service. Not a huge issue, but I made a mental note of it.Much more problematic was the second issue. I started noticed a rattling noise periodically when I went over speed bumps or was on a rough road surface. When I got home from driving -1200 miles to PA and back, I crawled under the front to see if I could figure out what was rattling and was shocked to discover that the large metal splash shield that protects the bottom of the engine was missing 3 of the 4 bolts that hold it on. This entire large metal piece was being held in place by a single bolt and was dangling due to the lack of support. I got some zip ties to secure it until the next service.I emailed the GM of the dealer (Sam) last week prior to scheduling the 40K mile service and explained that I was losing faith in the service department after they let me drive off with the truck in this unsafe condition. I received a call right away from the Service Manager, John, who listened to my concerns and asked me to bring the truck in and request to speak with him when I arrived. I scheduled the service for 10:30am Tuesday Jan 30. When I arrived, I asked for John and reminded him about our conversation and asked specifically if the technicians checked tire pressure for the correct psi as part of the service and he verified that this was part of the standard check. He instructed the service advisor to make sure they 1. checked the tire pressure on all 4 tires and 2. replaced the 3 missing splash shield bolts after the oil change service was completed. To make a long story slightly shorter, the advisor said they checked all the tires for correct pressure and noticed some corrosion on one of the battery terminals, which they addressed. I drove off after paying and about a mile down the road, I scrolled to the tire pressure screen to find that there were 3 different tire pressures on the readout, matching what I saw on the way to the appointment earlier in the morning. Translation: if they even bothered to check, they didn t fill all 4 tires to the correct pressure. Then, after stopping for groceries on the way home, I opened the moonroof to get some air when I noticed the SAME rattling noise I had heard last summer. I could not believe what I was hearing after this issue was SPECIFICALLY highlighted as a major problem with the prior service. I pulled over and reached under to see that 2 of the 4 bolts were not properly secured causing the splash shield to bounce around AGAIN. I hand tightened them to stop the rattling temporarily. I ll crawl back under there again with a wrench and fix it properly tomorrow.I have zero faith in this service department now and will not be returning. If they fail to tighten bolts down on this part, what else isn t being properly tightened? If they don t check tires for proper inflation, what else goes undetected? What might have happened if that metal shield came flying off on the highway due to the missing bolts? It could have done serious damage to other cars behind me. Thankfully, that didn t happen. The only reason I m giving this 2 stars and not 1 is that the service advisor Isaiah was polite and discounted the service. I always thought that dealer service was the best option for protecting the value of a vehicle. No more.Disappointed.

Had my oil changed. They left the cap off. Luckily I only drove a few miles before the burning oil smell was obviously coming from me lol. Shame too because the staff was very kind and even provided a Lyft ride for me because there was a long wait time.

Our Toyota 4Runner's windshield EXPLODED out of nowhere today. We spent half an hour waiting to get our call answered and my fiance drove over with a completely broken windshield to get it checked today. My fiance was serviced by Colby who's been an experienced Toyota Service Tech for a decade. He was so unconcerned that our WINDSHIELD EXPLODED WHILE DRIVING. Didn't even ask if he was okay. What is wrong with you? There's zero reason why you have to be so difficult in HELPING someone. He kept pushing back denying stating, "There was never a defect or recall on your rear windshield," only until almost 10 minutes later he double-backed and said there WAS, but it expired. Our windshield exploded mid-drive. My grandmother could have had a heart attack! Colby wouldn't take accountability of his mistake on false info. Completely wasting our time going in circles with what my fiance told him to help acknowledge it was the defroster that caused the glass to blow up. Colby kept denying it like it's not already on internet forums. At least mention it to management instead of telling us there's nothing you can do. The window was not broken into, or busted, it exploded because the DEFROSTER button was BUMPED on. This is as bad as the seat catching on fire, how is it an expired recall?... What do you want us to do with a button that explodes your window?? Toyota customers shouldn't have their car windshields explode while they are driving! Me and my fiance could have been hurt driving on the road!! This is insane.Service: Auto windshield repair

Be prepared to wait here ALLLLLLLL day for even something simple as tire rotation and oil change. Even when you make an appointment. It's not even worth your time for their "Toyota Care" savings, which hardly covers anything. I'll never bring a car here again.

Do not waste your time and money here. My car left here broken when it came in perfectly fine. I just needed a tire rotation to get the Maintenance Required sign to go away and they found every problem under the sun even tho nothing was wrong. I signed up online for a $60 service and the service advisor forced me to get the $120 option. When I refused most of the services because I knew I didn t need them, my car doesn t accelerate properly anymore. Never had a single issue with this car until I brought it to this terrible place. Go to a different Toyota, this place ruins the brands name.

I had a terrible experience at the Toyota service center today. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told that they don't actually provide Lyft rides back home as advertised unless you have 2 or more repairs, which was not mentioned anywhere when I booked and I ve literally had an Lyft back home every time except today. The service manager was incredibly rude and unhelpful, giving me an ultimatum to either Lyft home and find my own way back to get my car or wait. He insisted I wait, even though there was a line of cars ahead of me and my simple oil change always takes at least 2 hours. When I mentioned that I've been a loyal customer for over a year, the manager said that's not their policy and that his agents were not supposed to be offering Lyft rides in the first place. This is false advertising, as they clearly offer a Lyft when you book an appointment and it says nothing about having a minimum of 2 services or can t apply to discounted services. When I asked if I would need to involve a lawyer, the manager said they would refuse to service my vehicle, admitting that the Lyft policy information isn't even mentioned on their website. It's outrageous that they would treat customers this way and then try to blame it on "profit margins." I will be looking for another dealership who treats their LOYAL customers with respect and loyalty in return.

This dealership is scamming people! They would show you only the price of items not the total cost so you would agree with the maintenance service. Also, they try their best to sell you the service your car does not need. For example, they wanted me to do a fuel induction for a brand new car of 25k miles.

Do not recommend!!! Took my truck in for 1 very specific issue. They found over $2000 in repairs needed. I did $1000 in repairs. Come back 4 weeks for the same exact issue and error code I brought it in 4 weeks prior. They want to charge me to look at it again and come to find out they didn t even look at the issue I brought it in for. Come to find out the service advisor Glenn didn t even put the error code in my paperwork for the techs to look at. I brought it in for one specific code that was leaving me stranded on the road and they didn t even look at what I told them the issue is. Management states they will call you back and never does. Call in speak with 3 people to see what s going on and no one seems to know then get a text 5 mins later saying my truck is ready. I asked for a supervisor again and advisor Glenn was stating he was the service manager when he is in fact not a manager. Don t trust this service department. I will not be coming back due to incompetence with the staff.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I had a free 10k service for the GR Corolla (it's expensive and rare ). Made the biggest mistake of taking it here since it's the closest to my place.Firstly and most importantly, they CURBED my new Enkei wheels during service. They agreed to fix it and not replace it.Secondly, an oil change and brake flush took 3.5 hrs.Thirdly, they made me replace brake pads 5 months ago, and said that I need to replace it again. I've only street driven this car in the past 6 months. So either they are lying now or they put used brake pads by charging me for new pads. This place is a scam. I will never come back here. Please avoid this spot at all costs.

So basically , I had my first service with them. Where I have taken a package which includes tire rotation, and everything. However after sitting for an hour I had given the report stating the flaws in the vehicle but same was not fixed and was told that same will be checked again in next visit, so I don t know for what they have charged me $168 without doing nothing to vehicle Also will like to add please don t take the last slot of 4pm they have a good reason that all our technicians has left after 5 pm so will do it in next visit which will be after 6 months.

Save yourself the trouble. The service department is a mess. Came in with an 5k service appointment and after 15min was helped by Timothy who assured me it will be done in an hour or so. 2 hours later I go to find him to get an status update I found out he is gone and work order is passed onto Isaiah Campbell who doesn't know where the truck even is after 15min of looking he finds it sitting nothing done to it. I asked to speak to an manager and was directed to Criston Alexander who starts making excuses on why the truck had been standing. I ask to speak to his superior and he mentions he is the only manager instead of directing me to John Pitera who is the service director or at least give me his details to get in contact with him. I end up getting my truck back and went straight to sales manager who sold the truck to me and he was kind enough to get me the details of John Pitera. Please situate your service department, don't take up appointments you can not fulfil and make sure your manager acknowledges there are leaders above him and he is not the only point of contact.

This is my second try to get service on time. I set up an appointment and got there on time. I still don t have an update an hour and a half later. I politely request an update and get told that the car hasn t even been looked at yet. I ask how long and there is no definite answer beyond it will be at least another hour . Service manager said the appointment is just to talk to a service agent, so it s pointless to book an appointment if walk-ins get the same SLA. It seems to be the manager has gotten used to slow service with no updates to customers and giving no answers about his shop. Terrible service. I wouldn t go back but here I am trying to get a basic oil change at a Toyota service center.Save yourself some time and be early when they open and pray that you get your car back under 3 hours.

The service was very poor. I sat in the car while I watched the service advisors laugh and giggle in the service area. 30 minutes after my appointment I asked if anyone would help me and then a young lady came out to say it was going to be 2.5 hour wait. That is horrible

I came to World Toyota for a Multi-point inspection on Rear Brakes and Engine Oil Leak on Saturday Feb 17, 2024 at 01:00 pm and worked with Service Advisor Nicholas McCann.Service Technician Thome Daevon Lic #150396 informed Nicholas that I need both rear rotors and rear brake pads for the rear axle and replacement of VvT/I banjo gasket for Engine Oil Leak.I returned back to World Toyota on Monday Feb 19, 2024 to check the actual leak of VvT/I banjo gasket for Engine Oil Leak in person at the car and approve the work to proceed. VvT/I banjo gasket was replaced and all the oil spill was cleaned simultaneously.I requested both Nicholas McCann and Service Technician Derrico Kyle Lic #90006 in person at the car to perform a road test after the replacement of VvT/I banjo gasket to check for Engine Oil Leak again.I have informed Nicholas McCann multiple on Saturday Feb 17, 2024 and Monday Feb 19, 2024 times to thoroughly have a Service Technician to check the valve gasket, other gaskets and not just VvT/I banjo gasket thoroughly for all possibilities of Engine Oil Leak.Nicholas McCann said he talk to Thome Daevon Lic #150396 on Saturday Feb 17, 2024 and there is only one Engine Oil Leak at the VvT/I banjo gasket and he did complete diagnosis of Engine Oil Leak.Nicholas McCann said he talk to Service Technician Derrico Kyle Lic #90006 on Monday Feb 19, 2024 and there is only one Engine Oil Leak at the VvT/I banjo gasket and he did complete diagnosis of Engine Oil Leak.I once again returned to World Toyota on Tuesday Feb 20, 2024 to re-check if the Engine Oil Leak is fixed after driving over 150 miles. There was a misunderstanding by Service Director John Pitera on how and tone of my statements I have made which can be explained in detail if required but I don't want to divert the topic of the email conversation from service repairs to personality issues but I can briefly explain this.Apparently Engine Oil Leak is still not fixed and Engine Oil Leak is still leaking when I have taken a second opinion to re-check Engine Oil Leak. There is recklessness, incompetent and incomplete work done by Service Technicians namely Thome Daevon Lic #150396 and Derrico Kyle Lic #90006 by not examining all the Engine Oil Leak thoroughly because after the replacement of VvT/I banjo gasket Engine Oil is still leaking.Apparently there is approximately 12 months warranty on parts and approximately 30 days warranty on labor but I was informed not to return again to World Toyota, this to me is a serious issue from Service Director John Pitera.Service Director John Pitera says I cannot dedicate how the work has to be done to his Service Advisors nor tell Service Director John Pitera also that let us go back to your office and discuss this Engine Oil Leak issues. Service Director John Pitera said he has tolerated enough to an extent and it is now time for me to stop coming here ever again, well there is a consequences to this statement made by Service Director John Pitera with Human Resources of World Toyota that I am going to be following up with General Manager Curtis Smith first and the time has come for Service Director John Pitera to go home and Toyota Motor Corporation is informed and I will follow up into this matter until it is resolved as well plus posted reviews of Google, Yelp and BBB.Now that I cannot return back to World Toyota and the Engine Oil Leak is still present, how is this problem going to be solved. I have paid $240.45 invoice # 973104 for Engine Oil Leak which is still not fixed, please advise.

Do not take your vehicle here. Wait was atrocious. Appointments do not matter. Mine was at 11:30 AM for a simple oil change. Did not have the car done until 2 PM. Other customers were complaining too. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. I will never come back.

Recently purchased a full set of Falken Ziex ZE950 tires from this Southeast Toyota Dealership. I was sold "brand new" tires factory stamped THREE YEARS old and fed the exact same programmed line by all the employees ("All tires are kept in a climate controlled facility.") which by the look and condition of the tires sounds like a load of BS. They physically looked like they had been driven on. To resolve my issue they offered, free of charge, to install a second set of tires. The only problem, this particular Cooper tire was just over two years old and looked dirty and dingy just like the first set but at least not like they had been used. The only tires they claimed they could get that weren't aged were their version of a General Tire only sold by Southern Toyota Group. I wasn't interested in buying into this line about how great this tire was, which didn't carry the reviews the tires I had selected, so my options were exhausted and I left, for a third time, angry and frustrated with the first set of tires still on my car. None of this plays into how badly they treated my rims during the alignment or the fact that they lost one of my solid chrome air caps, only to offer my some knock off alternative, parking my car away from the building and leaving me to return to ask where to find it. Based on their constant explanation that their hands are tied, that they have to contact their supplier/warehouse and they only have one, I would recommend never buy tires from any Southeast Toyota Group dealers. Good deal or not, in the end you really get what you pay for. I highly recommend Discount Tires, they've always treated me great and it was very remiss of me trying to save a buck and trust this bunch. To the "GM" responding to these reviews, its been a few weeks since this all happened but I wrote you then, before writing this and no response was given. Do you just use your lackeys to copy and past that meaningful response? Working with your Service Department leaders wasn't a breeze either as I spent most of the time trying to call in and reach them.Read into other reviews, similar dishonest practices have been levied against this service department. As there are only 24 reviews at the time of writing this I imagine more can be found in the main World Toyota review board.

This was my worst visit. I had some things stolen out of my car during service. We know to take our valuables out of car, but I didn't know I needed to take everything out for safety and security. Who ever did it didn't even try and hide it. I got in my car and my stuff from glove compartment and other compartments was scattered over my seats and floors. I can't tell all that's missing but I know I'm missing at least 4 items if not more. This was very upsetting and disappointing. This is not what I pay $800. A month for and nothing is being done about it.

I have been a frequent customer and have left good reviews before. I went yesterday to get an alignment performed and oil change after I got new tires. 2.5 hours later I get my vehicle back and the vehicle was misaligned and I had to take to another dealership who showed me the alignment report and how world Toyota had completely messed it up. Not to mention the I have received the vehicle with 6 more miles on it before it went into world Toyota service. Horrible service the reviews are right stay away from this place.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Wheel alignment, Oil change

Terrible service, came in because of clanking caused by the stabilizer being loose. Got quoted for everything but THAT initially. Technician had the balls to tell me face to face that a splash guard replacement was worth ~$450 for 2 splash guards (it's a 25 dollar part on amazon and any other service center) and $80 for 5 bolts. Furthermore got quoted ~800 for strut replacements. All in all, nothing what I came in for because turns out they did not have the part. Waste of 5 hours of my time. How they are quoting/treating people in this service center is criminal. Absolutely do not trust the quotes you get from here!!!!!!!!

Disappointing Service Experience at World of Toyota ChambleeI recently had my first service visit at World of Toyota Chamblee, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. From the lack of communication to the neglect of important service tasks, I was left quite dissatisfied.Firstly, during my visit, I was accompanied by Alana Collins, who assured me that she would provide updates regarding my service. However, to my disappointment, I never received a call from her. This lack of communication left me feeling uninformed and unsure about the progress of my car's service.Furthermore, one of the issues that stood out was the absence of a car wash. I have heard from friends who visited other service centers that they received a complimentary wash, which I did not receive. It is disheartening to see such inconsistency in service offerings, especially when it is something that can significantly enhance the customer experience.Additionally, despite requesting a tire rotation, the tire PSI was not checked. This oversight is concerning because proper tire pressure is crucial for both safety and optimal vehicle performance. It is disconcerting to think that such an essential task was overlooked during my service appointment. Moreover, I was instructed to contact the body shop via email for an appointment regarding some alloy wheels issue. However, despite promptly reaching out to them after the service, I never received a response. This lack of follow-up and communication further added to my disappointment and frustration.Overall, my experience at World of Toyota Chamblee fell short of my expectations. The lack of communication, absence of a complimentary car wash, failure to check tire PSI after a tire rotation, and the unresponsiveness of the body shop are aspects that need improvement. I hope that my feedback can help the dealership enhance their service quality and ensure a more satisfactory experience for future customers.

Probably best to avoid getting service done here. Most recent service was for a tire rotation. All of my lug nut covers and wheels are now scratched. On top of that there were a handful of lug nuts that could have been removed by hand. The attention to detail by the service department is questionable at best. If something were to happen I'm sure they would deflect liability. This is on top of previous service where the engine intake filter housing not being closed completely and a new wheel being installed with a PSI extremely higher than recommended. I have let the general manager know about the shortcomings of my recent experiences and was contacted by a service manager.Edited to add that prior to my review I emailed GM Sam Pakarati and my concerns were handled in an unhelpful manner. So his response to my initial review is misleading.

Don't waste time with their service department. They have no clue on their own vehicles and too lazy to even hookup their diagnostic tool to troubleshoot.I brought the car in for some warranty repair that the automatic high beam doesn't work anymore, and after hours of waiting they brought my car back untouched because: they can't simulate night driving so they couldn't check the functionality of auto high beam.I took it back in and spoke with service manager who agreed that the tech should be able to simulate night driving by covering the light sensor to check the functionality of automatic high beam, and so the manager took it back again. An hour later it still came back with the same response from the tech. The manager said he didn't understand why the tech couldn't just cover the light sensor, but he can have others take a look if we leave the car there for few days. No loaner was offered so we refused. The next week we took the car to Atlanta Toyota service center for the same issue. Their tech hook up the car with techstream and immediately found out the automatic high beam was disabled. It was fixed right away and we drove out within 20 minutes. It certainly is a huge difference between someone knows what they are doing vs someone who didn't even bother trying. I will not waste any more of my time at World Toyota again.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

After an 8 year breakup with World Toyota s Service Department I was unfortunately reminded of why I left - you re treated just like a number. I had to wait 3 hrs only to be told that I d have to come back when the parts are in stock. I also found that my car had been sitting there for 1.5 hours after the inspection was completed before I was told. I have better options to spend my money and Saturdays. Thanks again for the reminder of why I stopped coming and please make a note in my file that if I do show up for some crazy reason to remind me of the pain I am about to go through.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Coming back for the third time. Issues with alignment and balancing. I feel like I work here without being paid. Wouldn't recommend it to family members or friends. Joseph Chillious, service member, is great! Mechanics aren't.
