I went to Welkom s a few months ago based on a high recommendation! Mr.Johnny was old school knowledgeable and reasonable!! I actually kept calling him recently and rode by there yesterday and he was closed! What happened??

Mr. Wellon is awesome! I took my car in for what I thought would be a new alternator. Ten minutes after dropping it off, he calls to tell me that he ran a diagnostic test and I don't need a new alternator. He then told me to go grab a new battery and bring it back to him. Once I brought him the new battery, I was in and out in 30 minutes. I will definitely be taking my vehicles to him in the future. It's rare that you find that level of integrity in the repair world.

I have been a decades custumer of Mr Wellons, then our children got older Mr Wellsons became their mechanic. Mr Wellsons you will truly me missed. If I can make it there. I take it there. Mr. Wellons is always helpful and friendly. If anything goes wrong with any of my cars. Wellons is the place I go too. They make sure you're taken care of whether it's a diagnosis or repairs. My go to mechanic Ricky is always on point. I HAVE NEVER LEFT WELLONS AUTO REPAIR UNSATISFIED.

Went here to have alternator replaced. Other than a crazy customer ranting about how God put women "on earth" to do what men tell them to do, Mr. Wellon was very nice and the other staff did a great job on my car.

Johnny Wellons deserves city recognition. He's been on this corner for years and his service is awesome. Doesn't charge for diagnosis. Yes there are some things he doesn't do. But either his techs do, or he will recommend another awesome shop to get it done. But for the most part, almost anything can be repaired here....basic work like brakes, oil changes, tune ups, plugs, wires, fuel pumps, water pumps, oil pumps, major work like valves, head gaskets, engine swaps, and so much more....check him out

People who do it right the first time. I have gone to Mr. Wellons for 25 years. I call him Dr. Wellons and his place "The Wellons Clinic". They have not just fixed my car, they have helped me. They take time from working on your car to quickly fix some kid's bike or inflate his tire. Very 20th Century. I recommend them to people regularly.

This shop doesn't have all the fancy bells and whistles of a modern mechanics shop. In fact, they are limited in what they repair, however the items they can repair, they do great work and have very good labor prices.

I really had a great time at my number one mechanic shop thank you Mr Johnny the owner and Mr Marvin for fixing my truck as well as always keeping my vehicles in tip top condition great service and very professional mechanics keep up the good work God bless Reverend Ross be encouraged always thank you

Wellons did a great job on repairing my brakes. I got same day service and a reasonable price. I would go back to them for future service

a few years ago they were awesome. They are now doing poor jobs. I took the car to them for brake work and to fix a leak. They did not fix the car properly and I had to go to another mechanic to fix what they claim they repaired.

This mechanic is great! He's spot-on with diagnosing your problem and won't charge you an arm and leg very reasonable.

They pick what vehicles to work on and not. My truck was one they wouldn't fix because my tags were from Minnesota. D%ck beaters laugh and hung up the phone after I had the AAA ppl bring it there.
