I bought break pads and rotors went to Uncle Mechanic Auto Repair today 2/16/24 to have my rear breaks replaced. The mechanics were attentive and friendly. Most importantly they "ARE" efficient and FAST!!!!! And Fariba was welcoming with EXCELLENT customer service. Their rates are more than fair and they are not out to rip you off. I HIGHLY recommend them. Any other auto repair I need..... THIS IS WHERE I WILL BE GOING!!!!

I have a Nissan. I needed some major repairs. I received excellent customer service from the owner and I love that they honest about what I needed done. They gave me the best price and had my repairs done by the end of the day. I highly recommend using Uncle Mechanic!

I ve recently taken my 2009 Mini Cooper and 2003 NB MX5 here and would highly recommend Uncle Mechanic to anyone ! Their mechanic team has an incredible amount of experience working on foreign cars you d except to pay triple the price for at a dealership or specialists . They really go the extra mile and showed me specifically what went wrong with my Mini s engine while having it disassembled. With my MX-5 they had the car lifted and showed me what went wrong with my suspension and allowed me to walk under my car and inspect it for rust myself! This inspired a lot of confidence in me that they are transparent and very reliable, the owner Fariba has been incredibly helpful while always giving great estimates and accurate time frames for when work will be complete.

Uncle Mechanic charged me 1/3 LESS than what the dealership and other shops quoted for the same repair! They did a fast job, a thorough job, and most importantly an affordable repair. They are an honest company and I'll definitely bring all of my cars here from now on.

Thank you faranaI went for fixing transmission shifter, roof lights & door for my car, they did a great work in best price, After a week I faced some different issues with door again I went back to them they did it without changing even single penny.Now everything is good and my car runs great.

Uncle mechanic gets 5 stars from me, customer service is extremely great I received updates on my car, uncle mechanic got my car back up and running in no time, plus there prices aren't bad ! I will be taking my car back for any fixing I need in the future!! Thanks for the first class experience!!

The staff at Uncle Mechanic were great. They checked the car to determine why it was making a loud clunking noise. They repaired it and made sure it was good before giving the car back to me. They understood the importance of the car working well since I had purchased it for my daughter. I am very appreciative for their thoroughness in accessing the issue. I called around looking for someone to replace the a/c & radiator fans on my car since if they don't work the a/c only cools while the car is in motion AND the car overheats any time you stop, this is Atlanta of course you will have to stop. Anyway most places I called wouldn't install the part because I already bought it. I called Uncles and not only would they do it BUT they could do it next day PLUS they worked with my budget since I JUST lost my job. I dropped it off and they were done in a couple of hours with great service. They are an honest shop and honest hard working people. Please give them your business! I will definitely go there again.

I have taken both my car and truck here for service. Each time I have been pleased. Fariba, is so kind and you can tell that she really loves what she does. Also, you can't beat the prices or the service anywhere in the area. I am so glad I found someone here that I can trust to fix on my vehicles, don't break the bank, honest, trustworthy, and kind. I don't have to drive back home just to get good service. My 04 Dodge Ram 1500 started running hot. Thankfully, got it home and popped the hood, yep, there was a coolant leak. Let it cool, then drove it to Uncle Mechanic. Gave Fariba(she is great !) my info and told her to call when her mechanic took a look. As I suspected, the radiator had a crack in it. She texted me the estimate, I approved it and it was ready for pickup the next day. Got it home and popped the hood to replace a bolt I took off the plastic shroud to see where the leak was coming from...they had already replaced it ! I checked the coolant level and it was filled to the full mark ! My truck is running nice and cool again ! Thanks Fariba !

I own a Jeep Wrangler and noticed some unfamiliar sounds coming from my vehicle while driving. I live near this business and happened to pass by it and decided to stop in and see if they could take a look at it. I had previously taken my vehicle to two other local shops, who quoted me an incredibly incredibly high rate to repair my vehicle. Upon entering this shop, I was met with incredible understanding, kindness, and an incredible rate for repair in my vehicle. I also wanted to mention that this was same-day service that happen to have been the fourth of July. I was incredibly pleased with the professionalism, along with being kept informed of the progress, as well as the actual work performed. I could not recommend this business more. A big shout out to you guys for a really helping me out and giving me a new go to spot for future repairs!Service: Engine repair

Excellent service! I had my brake pads and rotors replaced yesterday. The service as soon as I walked through the door was personable and pleasant. Throughout the maintenance service of my car, I was informed about other maintenance issues my car had which if were left unnoticed, it would have cost me an arm and a leg. I highly recommend this place!

This is the second time I have brought my car to Uncle Mechanic, they diagnosed the problem within 30 minutes and took care of the problem for a very fare price. I hope they will around for a long timeJS

My daughter's car started having issues with acceleration and all lights on the dashboard appeared. After a quick Google search and a few calls around, we found ourselves at Uncle Mechanic. The reviews did not disappoint. We were warmly welcomed by Fariba, who assured us they could run diagnostics immediately. We got the results within 30 min. They discovered the battery problem where other places assumed transmission and engine problems. The car was repaired within a few hours. The communication was great, the price was right and the thoroughness of answering all of our questions exceeded our expectations. We were even offered freshly made tea. I cannot say enough about Uncle Mechanic and its owner, Fariba. I already told my family and friends about them. I highly recommend this auto shop to anyone and everyone. It feels great to have such a trustworthy auto shop in the neighborhood. We will be coming back.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

Great mechanic shop. Family owned. Fabia is amazing and they do good work. Helped replace my brakes and rotors within a couple hours and haven t had a problem. Highly recommend for repairs. Will for sure be coming back for all my car troubles.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Ms. Fariba is very accommodating. They also clearly explained to me what repairs they ll be doing. I was consulted regarding the parts that they are going to replace - they made sure to give recommendation and I get to pick the one that fits my budget. Moved to Dunwoody 18 months ago and needed to find a good mechanic close to home. These reviews were strong and decided to give Uncle Mechanic a try. I took my wife's car in for new brakes and was so happy with the experience that I returned a week later to do brakes on my car as well.

I am always very critical of giving five star reviews but on a busy Friday I was able to get my car worked on super quickly. I purchased the brakes myself from auto zone and was able to get seen same day. Fariba the owner was very professional and kind an even shared the story of her late husband and his dream to open up a shop. Pricing was very competitive this is a hidden gem honestly.

Came in for a diagnosis and told them I was I was worried about my steering/car shaking. Was told I needed to replace my steering rack and it would've cost me $800 (400 for the part, 400 in labor.) Once I realise labor was +100/hr I took my car to a family mechanic and learned my front left rim was bent and the rest of my tire rims need to be rebalanced. Essentially my car had no problems. Saved myself from being finessed $800
