I had a great experience at Hitch House. The process of setting an appointment was quick, and they got me in for a hitch install the very next morning. The staff was incredibly friendly and had the job done in under 45 minutes, just as promised. I'm impressed with their efficiency and the high level of customer service they provided. I recommend Hitch House for anyone in need of hitch installation services. Five stars all the way!

One of the best experiences I ve ever had! After striking out at the U-haul store (disorganized, incompetent, inefficient, apathetic ), I called Bob at Hitch House to get a quote for a trailer hitch install. They were fantastic. Had all parts/equipment in stock, reasonable price, and could get me in same day. Quoted 4 hours for the job. I dropped my vehicle off and it was completed within 2 hours! Exceptional customer service and high-quality product at a reasonable price! I highly recommend.

I have not gotten a hitch put on yet. This rating is solely from my first experience talking to someone there. Very patient with me and explained in great detail. Joy to talk to and very knowledgeable about hitches. I am not sure the name of the man but he is around five nine and salt and pepper hair. Name maybe BOB. I have already suggested this place to a few people for a consult. I want a bike hitch on my car and with it being a sport car, I was told of the pros and cons of placing it on my care. Walked thru the entire process.

The best place to get your hitch installed in Atlanta. Buy it from them, they'll install it while you wait. They were fast and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

This is the second time I've had a hitch installed by The Hitch House. Bob and the team installed my hitch and made sure I knew exactly how to use the bike rack and all of it's features. They are very efficient, thorough and a nice group of guys.

Bob is THE expert on trailers, hitches, bike racks, wiring harnesses, winches and all of the locks and safety accessories to go along with them. We bought a used boat trailer that he inspected and installed some hub guards. He has spent significant time explaining the tongue weight and adjustments we could make to align the boat better with the trailer, even loosening some nuts that I would have struggled with. He has repaired my signals on the trailer twice, once it was a fuse in the vehicle, the other time, a previous wiring repair from the last owner had to be replaced properly - this diagnoses alone would not have happened without his knowledge and having the right tools on hand, we were in and out in twenty minutes! I would not feel safe going anywhere else as there is no way any Uhaul employee has the know-how and do it right attitude available here.

I never go anywhere but Hitch House, they done 3 Volvo's, one GTI and now my brand new Audi sq5 and they do the best work and it looks the best. I would highly recommend this place. You can barley see the hitch and thats what you want!!!

I was visiting from out of town to help a family member move and had to spend an extra day waiting on a trailer to be available. Once I went to hook up the trailer I realized the vehicle I just bought didn t have a hitch. I called a few dealerships and no one had anything in stock, but suggested the Hitch House. They went above and beyond and had me in and out the door within 45 mins. I can t remember the last time I received such good customer service!!

We got a trailer hitch and a brake controller installed on a day's notice so we could pull a camper that evening. Bob was very helpful, their price was fair, they were accurate in their time estimates, and the installation was quality work. Since my vehicle is fairly new, I wanted quality work and that's what Hitch House did. Also, I had a pretty productive morning working in their waiting room there. Bob was also very informative on how to configure the brake controller once we had the camper attached. We left confident that we were prepared to pick up the camper that night and we did without any issues.

Just dropped off my Tiguan to get my towing hitch attached. The person at the desk was friendly, knowledgeable, and very hospitable. After calling several VW dealerships and other installing companies, I ll gladly pay extra to get the service I asked for and promptly. The other places were asking me to wait at least 2 weeks to a month just to get the parts in to inspect my vehicle before installing. Tow House took my call and got the tow hitch delivered the next day and had me on the schedule within 36 hrs of contact. Upon arrival, I was greeted friendly and had a nice chat before being offered cold water from the fridge. I will be more than happy to recommend this place and also to come back to get any other work I need done!

Could not have asked for an easier or better experience at Hitch House. Wasn't able to remove a locked hitch on my new truck and Hitch House dropped everything to get me on my way. Was there a grand total of less than 10 minutes, the promptness and excellent customer service were outstanding. Will certainly go back for all my hitch needs moving forward.

The Hitch House staff was beyond helpful!I called and left a message for a quote in regards to my Honda Pilot. They called me back the very next day with a quote, however, he explain it varies in regards of which bike rack I choose.I made an appointment the very next day, because their customer service over the phone was fantastic!Upon arriving, I was greeted with a good morning from everyone. They explain the benefits of what a hitch does and what would be the best bike rack for my truck and bikes.The labour was amazingly fast!!Afterwards, I was giving an in depth walk through from A-Z how to lock my bike rack, how to put the bikes on correctly, they explained to me how to use the extra tools and equipment to make my bikes stable. They also gave me the opportunity to demonstrate how to put my bikes on and how to lock my bike rack etc...They asked me- to be on the safe side to take pictures just in case I forget.Nowadays, it is hard to get good customer service, but The Hitch House went far and beyond!Thank you kindly for your outstanding service!! Most importantly, thank you for caring about your customers safety.You guys are awesome!!Charlena

Excellent, friendly customer service and great timely work! I needed a hitch to be installed asap when my van broke and I needed to buy a smaller vehicle to return back home to CT. They fit me in right away and got the hitch installed on my new vehicle perfectly! I'm so excited to get my trailer and future bike rack to use very soon! Thank you Bob and team!

I initially was going to go to uhaul for a hitch for my bike rack after reading some of the reviews about steep prices and customer service. Uhual gave me mixed quotes, didn t seem to know what they were talking about, and very hard to get ahold of. I called hitch house (recommended by REI) and they gave me a clear, out the door price for $200 cheaper. I got an appointment for the next day and was out the door in less than 20 minutes. As for the customer service, I thought they were very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. Maybe they were having an off day for those other reviewers? Or maybe the other reviewers are just jerks who got put in their place

Couldn t have had a better experience. Had a Hitch and bike rack installed. Bob spent a lot of time showing me the bike rack and how to install, lock, multiple ways to mount a variety of bikes, etc. It would have taken me days to figure all of this out on my own. They were quick and great with any questions I had. I can actually say I had a fun time getting car work done. That s a first.

Pay attention to the reviews that describe this place as rude, patronizing and unfriendly. Those reviews are spot on and anyone giving them more than one star just got lucky. I went to them back in March based on my VW dealer recommendation to have a electronic brake controller installed. The installation took hours, cost about $500 and wasn't completed because, after all that work and money, they identified a bad ground wire. The tech explained how to install a new ground wire and told me to, "come back anytime I was in the area and they would quickly test that everything worked". I finally got back there (I live 20 miles away) when I was in the area in November, 2020, I was told they were too busy, they were short staffed and there were people waiting for their installations. I would need to make an appointment to come back the next week. Too busy for a five minute test to see if I even needed to make an appointment? Too busy for the five minutes it would have taken for them to do what they said they would do? Yep! That's these guys! And to top it all off, they added it was my fault for waiting so long to come back. Go any place but here. You are almost guaranteed to get a better price and better service and you will certainly get a better customer service attitude.

Just had a Curt hitch with wiring installed on my Outback at Hitch House. Easy to schedule an appointment over the phone, and they had the hitch I needed. I arrived early to my appointment but they got to work right away. Was in and out in under an hour! Price for parts and installation was fair. Excellent customer service! Thanks Hitch House!

It was great doing business with Hitch House. We had them install a hitch and bike rack on our Santa Fe Sport. Both Don & Bob were extremely helpful, explained the pricing thoroughly, and went step by step on using the hitch & bike rack. The work was completed earlier than expected and it was less expensive than the dealer. I highly recommend them.

Amazing; Customer Service beyond reproach! My wife and I scheduled an appointment to have a hitch and bike rack installed. When we arrived Bob had the hitch mounted with the rack installed, and two bikes placed on the rack in under 15 minutes! After the installation he took my wife and I out to explain all facets of operation of the hitch, bike mounting, and rack removal. We purchased the rack, and hitch on Friday but by Monday we changed our mind regarding the type rack we purchased, we decided we wanted a platform style rack versus the hanging style we had purchased. We contacted Bob and asked whether he would take back the hanging style rack and mount a platform style while giving us full credit for the rack we had already purchased. He not only did that he squeezed us in on his busy Monday schedule and did so in minimal time. We headed out on our bike vacation on time thanks to him.I have recommended them to all my friends and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering a hitch, or rack purchase. Fantastic customer service, Thank you!!

Exceptional knowledge, service, work ethic and more throughout several exchanges, handled in a consistent manner, and by more than one person.I first went to Hitch House for an adjustment after self-installing a bike rack that was recommended by a retailer (who also had recommended Hitch House). Bob, the owner at Hitch House, provided the adjustment at no cost, and informed me that the rack was too heavy for my vehicle.I considered buying a different rack from them, but upon consultation, they ultimately recommended one that they do not carry and then provided installation and instruction with uncommon generosity. Blew my mind.I cannot recommend the Hitch House experience highly enough. Bob and his team set an example for humanity.

I called a day ahead to give them my car's make and model plus to set up an appointment time. The service writer was friendly and knowledgeable. From the time I pulled in until I left was under 30 minutes. I'm a happy customer!

This place is the BOMB!!! We had a 5th wheel hitch issue while passing through Atlanta, from Massachusetts. Unable to get the replacement bushing, Bob used his 30+ years of skill as a fabricator, welder and hitch installer and got us back on the road, safely. The replacement part is on the way and our hitch dealer back home will do a replacement then. If you want professional see Bob at Hit House, Atlanta, GA.

I purchased a hitch and a bike rack for my 2013 Subaru Outback back in December 2012. The hitch was exactly as expected, and so was the bike rack. There was no muss / no fuss. I have had no issues with the either since installation.When they installed the hitch they also installed the wiring to hook up a trailer if I were to ever tow one. Fast forward four (4) years, and I borrowed a friends popup camper. This was the first time I have ever decided to tow anything other than my bike rack. When I hooked the trailer lights up they did not work. I purchased a new set of tow lights, and they too did not work.I called The Hitch house and explained the situation. They told me to bring it in, and they would look at it. I brought the car in, and they found that the module for the lights that they had installed four (4) was no good. They replaced the module, apologized, and sent me on my way without charging me anything. They actually stood behind their product! They have made a customer for life, and the next car I purchase I will be bringing here, and I will sing their praise to all that are in the market for a hitch for their car/truck.

Made an appointment to have a hitch installed in an hour. It took about 15 minutes!!! Fast and friendly service with reasonable prices and they have most of the needed parts in stock!!

Hitch House quickly set up an appointment to install a hitch on Our SUV. The professionals here make sure to do it right the first time.The installation was completed in about an hour, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. They're quick, but they take their time to buff, sand, and finish the job so that everything is clean and looks nice.

They did a fantastic job. Never had a hitch installed before and needed one for my bike rack. They were more knowledgeable, more professional and cheaper than any competitor I spoke to. They had to special order my hitch and rack, but it came in before they anticipated and they called me to let me know I could come in earlier. Did a good clean job in the amount of time they estimated it would take. Installer was very patient explaining exactly how to use all the features of the rack I bought from them (price on my Yakima rack was $20 less than anyone else in town, then I got 10% off the entire bill (ex-labor) for being a Southern Bicycle League member and buying hitch and rack from them together). They did several little extra things for me (without me asking) like customizing the wrench supplied by the rack manufacturer so it would work better with my car.I'd go back to them again in a minute. My only minor knock is that the waiting room area was a little lame (and I had to dig deep to come up with a negative)BTW, speaking to the staff, it looks like the business changed hands 2 years ago

I rarely write reviews. Hitch House is a case study in customer service and certainly deserving of a glowing review. They do a fantastic job. For just over half the cost of an OEM hitch (only) from dealer setup, I got an expert installed hitch plus Yakima bike rack. Do not go anywhere else. They are the best.

I contacted this business about getting a hitch installed for a car that required a special hitch and was told it would take a week for the part to come in and be installed.It didn't take a week. It took 4 weeks just to find out this business wasn't going to be able to take care of me.TLDR: go with U-Haul. Is 50% cheaper and their customer service is better.After the first week I waited a couple days to hear back from them and still hadn't heard anything so I called. Their phone appeared to be disconnected. After trying to call a few times I started looking for another way to contact them and emailed them.After some email exchanges and three weeks later I was told by Bob that due to the "tone" of my emails they would not do business with me. He told me that he shared my emails with "others" and that they told him not to do business with me. I never consented that my emails could be shared. My emails contained no foul language, but they did express frustration that I was not getting clear communication from the business about what was going on. It's completely within their right to not do business with me for demanding better customer service, and it's my right to leave this review and encourage you to go to U-Haul instead. It's half the price and apparently they can get me in next week.
