John is an extremely honest mechanic that takes excellent care of his customers. He s extremely fair with his pricing and never tries to sell you unneeded service. I recently had my Mercedes SUV serviced by John and could not be happier with his level of service, and expertise. RS Motorwerks is highly recommended for work on your Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, and or any other import or domestic make and model. Don t over pay for services at the DEALERSHIP - when you can get better service at a much better price!

RS Motorwerks has done a fantastic job servicing my Porsche 996 Turbo X50 for years. They performance tune package added a Europipe Exhaust, Brembo Big Brake Kit, Headers, Performance Chip, 19" inch Sportec wheels, among other small upgrades. All together adding at least 150 horsepower. Although I haven't put the car on a dynamometer so that's just my estimate.Their service team has been dependable and very responsive. Fair and honest prices. Fast turnaround. Easy to work with.It's my second Porsche RS Motorwerks has serviced. I was originally referred to them by the Porsche dealer service dept. because the dealer doesn't perform performance tunes or rebuild older engines or transmissions.Side note: I love that they will accept direct delivery to their shop for tires (and other parts). Saves a lot of time an hassle.I only wish they had multiple locations because their Dunwoody shop is a bit out of the way for my friends who live South of Atlanta.Services: Auto maintenance, Battery, Oil change

John diagnosed and repaired a complex issue with our Mercedes. The dealer couldn t figure out the issue but John and his team did. I would highly recommend them to any Mercedes owner.

I recently used RS Motorwerks for pre purchase inspection on the car that I was purchasing out of state. When I called to schedule a service I specifically asked to thoroughly check the car and provide with a report of all issues found.When I received the report the only thing was reported is a minor tire issue. The report failed to note that an engine mount was leaking, $1500 repair on that car, front fender panel misaligned, multiple scratches on the door and few other issues. Neglegence on the tech part is now costing me $1800 to correct all these issues which I could have used to negotiate a price down on the purchase. Horrible service, I paid to these guys to be my eyes and they totally failed!Services: Body & Trim, Vehicle Inspection

Had both rear brake rotors and pads replaced for my 2012 Porsche Cayenne in just 2 h today. These guys are highly skilled and also very nice. I am very glad that the final bill is less than half of what I got from Porsche dealerships. I will certainly recommend them to my friends and colleagues. As an owner of two Porsches, I am pretty for sure that they have experienced team to solve your problems with good price and high quality.

I took my Audi A6 to have it checked after the ABS light started lighting up. An elderly gentleman greeted me but was quick to have a younger man drive me home while they inspected my car (collectively referred to as "father and son"). The father called 3 hours later at 4:30 and told me it would be $2,500 expense to replace the ABS module. I asked for alternatives and was told there was none. I told him I cannot authorize the work until I research the issue, and asked that he has someone pick me up to retrieve my car. The father said he had no one there to pick me up, and to take a cab. I took a cab and found the father, son, and another gentleman there. I got my keys and the son presented me with a $108 fee. I was never told about any fee by the father when I dropped the car off. I lost my head for having to take a cab and then, this fee that was absolutely never discussed. I refuse to pay the fee. Chances are they would have the work but these people are sleazy and I get the impression they are strapped for money. They plan on retaining a collector to obtain their fee within 10 days. I plan to finish the diagnosis for my car and plan to take this matter as far as it needs to get. Your nightmare just started. Please govern yourself accordingly!

Took my wife's BMW in for a simple job and was quoted verbally 1 hour of labor which seemed very fair. Billed for 1.5 hours with no explanation beyond it was a 1.5 hour job. Wish they would have been more up front and I don't have time to argue or dispute charges over such a small amount. Would recommend getting quote in writing before you give them your CC info. I won't be going back.

1st Class folks all the way!! They try to make the the car repair process more than just a visit to the "dentist"!! They explain the problem carefully as well as inform the consumer of possible warranty or Mercedes "free fixes" whenever possible.Their prices are more reasonable than the dealer too!I'll be back.

I took my Mercedes in to RS Motorwerks for a simple light bulb issue. They told me that I need an entire assembly so I said ok The price was 450.00. I asked them if they could change my light bulb on the left side marker as well and I had the light already. They said yes but the price would be 50.00. I told them not to do it and I would youtube it myself and replace it because I knew that was simple five minute project and I didnt want to pay them 50.00 for a five minute project.I got a call that my car was ready and that they went ahead and replaced the side marker for free. I was grateful and thankful until I drove home only to get out and see the side marker dangling from my car. A closer look revealed that the insert tab was broken. I called back to RS and they said ok bring the car back. I did and the gentleman at the front desk stated that he would order and call me the next day to pick up. I said that I will just be in Saturday to have it put back on. I got a call Saturday stating the part was in and it would be 47.00. It was not about the price but I felt that it should have been free being that you broke it. The owner Rob got on the phone stating that my car was a 2006 and it was due to break anyway????? I said well what about the fact that I told you not to fix it??????????? He stated well we already had fixed it and assumed that you would be ok with it since you told me to. I said you could not have fixed something without giving the customer a price. Anyway he decided not to use his business morals and make it right with me so I'm alerting the consumers about this situation and I am going further just so that he knows that he will not or cannot get away with being a complete jerk!!!!!! I will never go back to these dishonest creeps!!!!!!!!!

I took my BMW in for an oil change and John let me know about some additional things needed. I appreciate that he didn't tell me everything needed to be done at once so I had a timeline to work with. I have been bringing my cars to John for at least 15 years because he's really good, honest and a wonderful person. My wife's VW recently had some problems so I brought it to the VW dealership. getting the bill, i felt cheated and wanted to kick myself for not bringing it to John. You get what you pay for! This place saved me money on some of my Carrera repairs, but they made some major mistakes. My airbag module was misdiagnosed, and I paid them to replace an airbag. Plus, they added a custom bumper to my car and completely messed it up. I would not bring anything difficult to them or they will mess it up. For routine things you will save money from a Porsche dealership, but again, you get what you pay for.

I have taken my car to this shop for 2 yrs for the same issues! This last time I took it he charged me 500+ dollars EXTRA because he said he spent too much time speaking back and forth with my warranty company! Well I thought that was a part of his job! Now it actually was 800$ for talking to them but my husband talked him down to 500$ which was RIDICULOUS! I'VE NEVER HEARD OF THAT IN MY LIFE! So now I took my car to Porsche they tell me the wire on the part that he replaced IN OCTOBER 2021 was lying on top of my exhaust and burnt up! Ok my warranty won't cover that because they said it's NEGLECT from RS MOTOR WERKS! I call him and send him pictures and he tells me if it was something else that made the wires touch the exhaust that's on me! REALLY?? TAKE IT MY WARRANTY PAID HIM ALREADY BUT HE DON'T WANT TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS MISTAKE! LOOK YOUR HUMAN YOU MAKE MISTAKES EVERY ONE DOES BUT BECAUSE THE COST TO REPAIR IS 2500.00 IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT! LESSON LEARNED TO ME. I ONLY USED HIM BECAUSE HE WAS CLOSE TO MY JOB. BUT ONE THING I LEARNED IS CONVEINCE IS NOT ALWAYS BEST!!! SMH AND HIS PRICES CHANGE AS HE WORK!Service: Steering & suspension replacement

This place is horrible!!! Me and my wife have taken our Porsche Panamera back 4x now for the same issues! That he has repaired. He is extremely hard to get in contact with. He keep your vehicle for days and it s still not repaired right. Now we have missing parts PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEYService: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

Always fantastic. I trust them with all of my cars (BMW M3 and porsche cayenne). Everyone needs a mechanic they can trust who will also watch your costs. This is the one!

The dealer told me i need a new transfer case to i called these guys and was told they rebuild them all of the time and was given a quote and told to drop it off, the next day i get a call from them telling me that i need a transfer case and they have never rebuilt one and they want a diagnostics fee of $110 ? STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS !! THEY ARE DISHONEST !!
