This review serves as a serious warning to anyone considering this mechanic shop.Save Yourself the Trouble: This shop is a disaster. Unprofessional and deceptive, they prioritize unnecessary charges over basic customer service and fail miserably to deliver on promises. They even damaged my car! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Take your car somewhere that respects your time, money, and vehicle.Unnecessary Charges and Delays: Despite knowing what part needed replacement (I fix my own car sometimes!), they insisted on a full checkup ($95) before confirming the issue. Even worse, after finally diagnosing the problem, they promised a quick turnaround with a part order through them ($356 deposit). They messed up the order, adding a whopping $400 and further delays. Stuck and needing my car, I agreed, trusting their promise of a weekend return. Shockingly, the weekend came and went with no car. Calls went unanswered and the car remained unfinished for days. Different excuses emerged each time I followed up, including needing a new sensor!Unprofessionalism at its Peak: After enduring endless frustration and a complete lack of communication, I finally requested to see my car. What I found was appalling. Not only was the car not fixed, but they'd also managed to ruin the paint job. To top it all off, I discovered a discarded Gatorade bottle under the hood! This blatant disregard for my car's condition solidified my decision to leave without it.Empty Promises and Broken Trust: As I was leaving, the manager assured me he would call me "no matter what" the next day. However, at 11:20 am the following day, I had to initiate contact only to be told he was "too busy to talk" and would call back "in a few minutes." Needless to say, that call never came.I had to present myself an hour after.Obviously even if I was there nobody really acknowledge me until 45 minutes after.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not waste your time or your hard earned money at this place. They scammed my partner out of extra money after having his car a week longer than they said prior. Each time he attempted to check on his car and or take it home with him, they proceeded to stall and say something else went wrong. It's all smoke and mirrors here. He still had to pay an extra $500 when picking up his car for the "time spent" on the car. But guess what!? The issue is still present and now we are taking it somewhere else to have the damages they did fixed. Completely irresponsible ownership, unprofessional management, and to top it all off I don't even think they know what they're doing. You'd be better off getting your car checked by Stevie Wonders than this place. You shame this town! Absolutely disgraceful!

Can't recommend enough!!! I'm a girl in my 20's who knows nothing about cars & have the most anxiety when it comes to auto repair bc I'm terrified I'll get taken advantage of. These guys were PHENOMENAL! They were so kind & understanding, super flexible with schedule, & not pushy at all. I had to get 2 new catalytic converters, & they had them replaced/installed & my car ready within 1.5 days. They also called me & gave me updates every step of the way & would explain to me in simple terms what the problems were without me having to ask. They quoted me an outstanding price for the parts & labor altogether--and they even let me take a day to do my own independent research on the price before starting any work without making me feel pressured or in a rush whatsoever. You can tell that they have kids/daughters bc they really make you feel comfortable & secure in making decisions about your vehicle, safety, & bank account. If I could give them 10 stars I would!! Excellent job done & will be going back

My car was smoking like crazy and this was the closest place I could stop. The customer service here was amazing and they went to pick up the parts for my vehicle so I could have same day service. Thank you for doing an outstanding job repairing my Porsche.

Good price, quick service, nice guys. Only oil change place I've been to in Atlanta that bothered to reset my maintenance light after they finished.

My oil light started flashing and my car engine was grinding, so I swung into the nearest mechanic. This place was GREAT! They very quickly diagnosed my car and got it up and running in no time. They documented what happened so I can follow up with my usual mechanic. They did all this while they were obviously very busy. And the price of the oil change was much less than my usual mechanic. Highly recommend. They were helpful and pleasant and got me on my way as soon as they could.

They did a great job, but they told me I needed a tune-up. I paid like 400$ for that and air along with diagnostic. A week later, I had the same issues. Oh, you need a catalytic converter and air compressor. I don't think it's fair to manipulate people out of money. Just say you need alll of these things. This is what we can fix today

Don t expect accountability for their actions. I was up sold on a coolant flush for my radiator and when I drove the car the next day smoke begins pouring out of the hood. Why? The radiator hose had popped off and all the coolant drained from the car. When I bring it back for them to fix their mistake, all I received was excuses as to how it had nothing to do with their service and it would be an additional $150. Because after bringing it in the second time to let them reposition the hose, apparently this hose is corroded and needs a full replacement part. (It did not) I ask, why was this not brought up to me the first time they inspected the radiator and recommended a flush and why did you perform a flush knowing there were parts related to the cooling system that needed replacing? All I got in return were continuous excuses in order to not admit fault. Needless to say, they won t receive anymore of my money and they don t deserve yours.

Friendly staff not the most reliable and you have to call everytime to find out whats going if you need bigger tire issue repaired this is not the place , maybe for smaller places

My rating is based on the price. It cost $281 to put coolant in my AC. All the men I talk to say I was overcharged. The service person was nice and helpful though. Just the price wasn t logical.

Been going to Precision Tune Auto Care for years while I was at UGA in Athens and now in Atlanta, and I've always had great experiences. Was met with a greeting as I pulled up to the store and received honest and efficient assistance from Carl who helped run my truck diagnostics test and explored options for the best, cheapest solution. Carl is the MAN!!

Carl Is the man HES AN AMAZING PERSON. He definitely make sure your car is done in a good matter of time. Been coming here for years and as long as CARL is there I m definitely will stay a customer.

I ve been going to Precision for YEARS and never had any issues until I used this location. I took my car to them a few weeks ago because my car wouldn t start/ had issues starting. They said they were going to perform a full diagnostic. They later called me and told me that there was nothing wrong with my car and that I could come pick it up free of charge. I asked the manager Carl was he sure and he replies This is what I get paid to do! As the weeks went on I notice a delay in my car starting but figured it was something I was doing. Lastnight my car wouldn t start at all. So I called the shop and voiced my concerns. The gentleman who I spoke with told me they would send someone out to me today. I called the shop and Carl , the manager answered and yet again had an attitude with me when I asked about the service. He said he would call me back and never did. I ended up having AAA come out and check my battery and alternator. They told me that their diagnostic found that the battery simply needs replacing. If this location would have done what they were supposed to do and checked the battery I would already have a new one. The 1 Star rating is really for Carl and his lack of care and professionalism. I will never take my car here again!

I went to this place before and they over charged me and didn't do what I asked, but I wanted to give them another chance. Got an oil change and wanted an alignment done. I was informed that the machine for the alignment was out of service. I brought my own oil, and filter and was charged for the highest oil change service they have at least it could have been the lowest since I had everything. One week later I get a oil change message on my dash called and they said it just need a reset. Went had it reset and the message came back a week later went to a different place and was told the filter was very loose and leaked out 4 quarts of oil. I have been going to Precision Tune for years and don't know if I should go back to this locationServices: Wheel alignment, Oil change

Just Genuine ppl, It s quiet and clean always! I don t think I ve ever been here longer than an hour, but I ve only ever needed an oil change (knock on wood) so I haven t experienced wait time for other services. When your here ask for Carl!! I am rating Precision Tune Auto Center on Cheshire in Atlanta, GA, 0/0 stars because they did not properly perform the necessary maintenance on my car, which led me to spend over $1200 for a car that is still not running properly. On 8/14, the car started smoking and I had to have it towed from over an hour outside Atlanta. I informed Precision Tune's employees that I was in the middle of moving to Midwest with my wife in the car, therefore it was imperative that the car be fixed and running safely. When I picked it up Saturday afternoon, the mechanic told me to drive the car at least 30 miles to ensure that it was running before I continued on out of state. I only made it twenty miles before the car started smoking once again and the car had to be towed back due to them just filling up the coolant and oil due to the cap coming off, which was the original issue. After the second repair, which ended with them completely replacing the radiator, I didn't even make it a mile before the water pump went out on me. This is after I was assured that the car had been test driven by two separate people. I asked the employees if they actually test drove the car before me, they both stuck to the same story. Later they admitted that they failed to properly decompress the engine. The owner refused to pay for the damages that his mechanics caused and admitted to causing, but gave me a "50%" for the water pump (paid $200). After the third repair, my wife and I left. We still had to pull over 5 times within two hours to prevent the engine from overheating in the middle of rush hour. Due to them not checking the engine light that was on saying "p0118, the coolant temp sensor was not replaced and we had to pull over buy a new one, figure it out, and grab a hotel room because it was too late to keep driving. After we replaced the sensor and took off, it kept reading hot and due to the fan not cutting on when we were going below 40 MPH. It made it due to high speeds, but still acts up and STILL leaks coolant while driving. I will never return to Precision Tune Auto Care or recommend that anyone give them their business.Service: Engine repair

Manager Carl took the time to explain, in a straightforward and honest manner, what needed to be done to my car without making me feel like a dummy. I have been going to this Precision Tune for years and have always been treated with respect and received good service. Don t go here! Lies, faulty work and just poor customer service. After calling corporate and threatening to make an insurance claim, the owner offered me an $800 refund . Long story short, I still have not received the work promised or the refund!

Took my truck in for an oil change and had it out in thirty minutes. No appointment. No problem. Spent my time talking to the owner Steve who is crazy fun and definitely a passionate man for his work. Bathrooms are amazingly clean, coffee is delicious, and time passes without a breeze. If you base your decisions on reviews, don't look any further, I guarantee this is a right pick. (Any negative reviews found are with previous owner and should be disregarded). (:

I needed air in my rear passenger tire. I pulled up and the manager was standing out front talking to one of the mechanics. I ask if they can put air in my tire because the (free) QT air pump was broken. They charged me $5 for air in one tire. Air costs $5 for 20 psi. The manager said that his mechanic has a $2,000 work order to work on and he isn t gonna stop to pump air in the tire unless it makes sense. But they were chillin out front when I pulled up. I don t recommend this location for free air because it costs $5 per 20 psi. Definitely not happy.

I have already reaped the benefits of a year long promotion on my first visit. Even though I had already bought a booklet that includes or discounts a variety of services, the owner gave me the discount online that doubled the discount I was aware of. The owners are very nice and they were finished with everything very fast! I also appreciate the clean waiting room and restroom in addition to the complimentary coffee, tea and cold bottled water. I plan to do all of my preventive maintenance at this Precision Auto!

I ve been going here over 2 years and never had any issues. The new owners are awful. I took my car here for a simple oil change and was told I needed a new power steering pump due to the noise and oil that has leaked. I drive my car everyday and never heard a noise. I sat here over 4 hours because they kept receiving defective pumps. Once I told them I had to go, they said the new pump would be there in 30 minutes. I instructed them to just put my old one back on because I had to go. My car sounds 10x worse then it did when I brought it in yesterday. Not returning.

The guy running the place is very knowledgeable. Went in for brakes an rotors and they were replaced faster then I expected. Hes also very flexible and easy to work with. This has become my go to shop since moving to atlanta this year.Service: Brake service & repairService: Brake service & repair

Locally owned. I came in for an oil change around 11:00am on a Monday. There was no wait. The owner s wife promptly greeted me at the counter and took care of me. I ended up needing new break pads and a tire rotation as well. All of this took only about 25-35 minutes. There was coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and cold water bottles in the waiting area. That was a nice touch. Overall, I was very pleased with experience at this Precision Tune and will definitely be returning for any future automotive needs. (Heads Up: Check their website for coupons before you go!)
