Honest shop with good customer service. Took my old Honda in for an inspection and was greeted by friendly staff who guided me to places to eat while I wait. The mechanic identified a cracked belt which was in fact cracked when I looked at it after the inspection. No urgent recommendations and a quote for $180 should I decide to go ahead with the belt. Thanks for not trying to rip me off :)

I brought my truck to Pep Boys on Piedmont Rd. after a minor hit and run on a Friday morning. Within a half hour Waleed had the truck in the air and discovered the the right tire rod and stabilizer was bent. The manager Rodney gave me an estimate and said they could have it to me by 5pm. He came through on his promise. Since my insurance adjuster couldn t make it until the following Monday, Rodney kept my car in the garage over the weekend. My insurance company took almost two weeks to get someone out. Pep Boys kept my car safe and locked up in one of their bays. When I finally came to pick it up Joe was slammed with customers. Despite having so many things going on he stayed calm and courteous with everyone. He took numbers down and called each person back. The truck drove as good as the day I bought it. The entire team at this shop is top notch! Very very grateful.

Love this Pep Boys! Everyone there is always kind and super helpful, especially to a car novice like me. I am grateful Joe patiently walked me through everything that needed to be done and answered all my questions. And it took less time than expected to fix! Will be coming back for future car needs

We brought our 2015 Honda CRV to the Pep Boys location on Piedmont for an oil change and service, and the experience exceeded our expectations. I had pre-booked the appointment, and upon our arrival, the team was prepared and promptly took our car in for servicing. Impressed by their expertise, we decided to follow their recommendation to replace the brake pads, and they efficiently carried out the installation on the spot.The entire service, including the oil change and brake pad replacement, was completed in just 1 hour and 15 minutes. The total cost for oil change, new brake pads and service was around $600. I highly recommend this Pep Boys location to anyone seeking reliable and efficient car service. The staff's professionalism and quick turnaround time make them a standout choice for automotive needs.

I made an 11 o'clock appointment. I got there 10 minutes early but it still took 2 hours just for them to tell me what was wrong. Then it took 2.5 more hours for the repair even thought he guy told me 1.5 hours when i asked how long it will take. People who came in after me left before me which i was not pleased with since they were walk ins vs my "appointment". Then, I specifically asked if the repair would resolve the noise I've been hearing in my car, the guy said yes. Noise is still there. For a $300+ repair? Unacceptable. Absolutely zero respect for my time. What was the purpose of the scheduling system? They didn't even tell me where my car was. I parked in the back near the service area at drop off. I waited at the building. At pick up, it's raining, and I have to walk across the parking lot to the auto zone next door to get my car. You couldn't park it in front? This is the second time ive had a poor experience. Not at this location, but I will definitely not be using them or any other pep boys in the future.

These guys saved me from a serious pickle. A nearby auto shop installed my battery wrong and blew up multiple fuses as a result, but one of the Pep Boys managers was able to save me from spending several hundred dollars on something that wasn t my fault. Their honesty and integrity goes a long way and I ll definitely come back. Thanks Clayton, you re the best!

I had the displeasure of interacting with a rude and unhelpful employee named Clayton at Pep Boys on Piedmont Buckhead. From the moment I walked in, he had a terrible attitude and seemed inconvenienced by my presence. When I asked for assistance with finding a specific part, he scoffed and rolled his eyes before begrudgingly pointing me in the general direction.Throughout the entire interaction, Clayton was dismissive, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful. It was clear that he had no interest in actually helping customers or providing any sort of satisfactory service. I left the store feeling frustrated and disappointed by the lack of basic courtesy and respect shown by this employee.I would highly recommend avoiding Pep Boys altogether if Clayton is the type of employee they have representing their brand. It was truly unpleasant experience that left a sour taste in my mouth. Avoid at all cost!!

Had a good experience getting my car AC recharged here - got several quotes for $175 or more then found out Pep Boys charges $75. That only includes 4 ounces of freon & then it's a charge per oz but it came to $125 total, much better than anywhere else. They left the charging port cap on the windshield but they also noticed and diagnosed a leak before it got worse. I will probably take my car there again. They don't have a great waiting room so don't plan on hanging out there.

I was told by another certain auto shop @midtowntire that my alignment did not stick, and that I would need to replace the rack and pinion, which would total just under $1,200. Came here to get my alignment check to see if in fact that was an issue. Not only did they set my alignment, they took pictures throughout the process. James and Jeremy were awesome. Huge thanks!

I must admit things started a bit rough with trying to get my tires delivered. Because I ve had great experiences with Pep Boys in Hiram, I decided to give this branch a chance. They absolutely came through! They were on time in starting my tire installation and as always, did a thorough check on my car. I also needed a new battery and terminal, which they confirmed my suspicions on that one. Because of all the work I was getting done, they were able to find discounts and cut me a really good deal. They were really busy yet stayed on top of keeping me updated on my car s progress. Despite being so busy, they remained really nice and professional.

RATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NEVER EVER LEAVE YOUR CAR AT THIS DIRTY, UNKEMPT FACILITY OR YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE!! PEPBOYS ARE CHEATS AND LIARS, GASLIGHTERS, AND THE WORST OF THE WORST IN THE MECHANIC FIELD. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY YOUNG LIFE.I called ahead to ask for a simple tire change and was told on the phone it could be completed same day. Instead, I get to the location and am told to wait 2 days for a new tire to arrive. At the end of this 48 hours, I go to pick up my car and it is violently shaking, dashboard lights going crazy, and it is undriveable. The mechanic spent 35 minutes trying to convince me these problems existed when I brought the car in, and only backed down once I showed them the initial service report which clearly stated there was only a 'tire pressure low' light on when I arrive. I get a call the next day and am told RATS CHEWED MY ELECTRICAL WIRING and it would be an additional $1,200 to repair.After fighting on the phone with the store manager and customer service for a week, I used my insurance to tow my car to a reputable mechanic who did the repaired for around $800. The most I got from the store managers was victim blaming for signing the paperwork that says 'pep boys is not liable for damage done to your vehicle when it's in their care".... what kind of sketchy place even puts this in the fine print unless this happens all the time. Just a great way for them to scam for more money.

The low tire pressure light came on in my car, so I stopped to have the tires pumped up. The guys were fast, kind and helpful. regrettably I did not get the employees name, but he even checked to make sure that they were filled to the recommended factory spec.This seems like a mundane Service experience however, customer service across-the-board Seems to be subpar at best so it s refreshing to have a nice experience. These tires are nearing the end of their lifespan, so I will definitely be coming back When it s time to purchase new tires! Thanks guys and please keep up the great work!

Excessive wait time. Waited almost 3 hours to get 2 tires put on. There were several other people that were seen before me but arrived after I did. Very disappointed in the service time. My time is valuable. If you are in a hurry go somewhere else.

Do not visit here. Went in for a simple oil change and tire change in the same visit. I left with an oil leak, and coolant overflowing out of the top of the reservoir. And on top of it all had my gas cap stolen when my car was sitting in the parking lot for no more than an hour after servicing. Don t waste your money here

I wouldn t go here personally, they didn t tell me my car was ready (went for oil change) so I went around closing time bc it was supposed to be ready same day, it took forever to get checked out. Paid, left, I started driving and hearing a screeching noise. Pulled over my splash guard was barely re-attached. I didn t have tools or a means of reattaching myself and I still don t know if driving home with that (since they were closed after) damaged my car or not. It made driving home really difficult. They didn t give me a sticker, and they left a dirty seat protector in my car. I didn t know for a fact the service was done based on how little care I could tell was taken in handling my car. I had to miss work to go back the following morning and get it fixed and even that took another hour. They didn t keep me updated so after an hour I realized my car was finished, it just didn t seem to be a priority to update me or get me on my way to work.They offered me a free oil change next time but I will not put my car in their hands again.

I pulled over to this Pep Boys because my tire was going flat in the rain. I drove over to the open garage area and asked Waleed where I could get some air put into my tire? He said, "I will take care you right now." He immediately got the gauge and pump and bent down and began putting air into my tire in pouring rain as I sat behind the wheel never leaving my car.I was beyond appreciative and I asked him if I could buy him lunch? Waleed said, "Oh no, all I want is to make sure you get home safe and have good day." This gentleman showed me so much concern and courtesy. He is an asset to Pep Boys and humanity as a whole. Please recognize Waleed for his gallantry!!!

After purchasing 4 new tires the next day while driving to work my car would not exceed 70 mph without shaking. To the point my vehicle notified me to keep both hands on the wheel while driving. My tires also felt like they had less traction than they did prior to getting new tires. I then had to make an additional appointment at another location the next day to fix the problem and get my tires balanced, which took 2 hours to be completed.

The service and communication at this spot are fantastic. Everyone is really thorough. They took me outside to see the leaks in my tires visually before patching to make sure I understood what was going on. Really appreciate how straightforward and efficient the services are. The managers and staff are really nice.

I have an electric car so I don't need things like an oil change. But I do need my tires rotated and I hate having to put my own air in. Come here in and out quickly and the tire rotation is free! Complimented with friendly service this is my go-to place.

Let me start by saying the guys working here were very polite but the whole experience was pretty terrible. I m traveling through town and had a blowout on 85. We only have the one vehicle and had to get it fixed asap. I booked a 3pm appt for a Saturday. I called at 8am that morning to confirm they had the tires I needed for my car because I ve had experiences in the past where the shop didn t actually have the tires in stock even when online inventory said they did. They confirmed they had the tires. I showed up at 3 and had to wait on site because we only have one vehicle. My car sat for 2 hours before even being brought into the shop. Then they got it up on the lift and after 30 minutes I could tell there was a problem. They kept going back into their warehouse and I knew they couldn t find the tires. After 1.5 hours they finally told me that even though I was told that morning they had the tires they only had one tire. I told them that I d take the one because only one blew out and I couldn t come back the next day to have one to match. After everything they said the tire was $140 even though online says they were $90. After fees and all one tire was going to cost $207. I was surprised by the cost. At this point I was the last person in the shop and had been there over 4 hours. They said because I was patient they d give me the warranty for free and take off $20. So 4.5 hours later and $187 lighter I went to leave only to see they didn t even put my spare tire back. I had to do it myself in the parking lot, although one guy came out and helped after he saw me working on it. Absolute nightmare.

If you are in a hurry, I'd go somewhere else. It took them 4 hours to patch a tire. We called ahead, making sure they had the ability to help us and were told to come in. Then we arrived a couple of minutes later and were told it might be a couple of hours before they could get to us. We came back 3 hours later to check, and the car had not been touched yet and were told it would be another hour. My suggestion is that they take three of the four ppl sitting in the office and have them work in the garage if they need more help. We were glad to get the tire fixed, but this was an excessive wait for such a small task. If anyone came in past 2:30 pm, they would not have finished their car by closing at 7.

I had a great experience at this Piedmont Road location thanks to Jeremy Taylor whom I believe is one of the service managers. I ran into issues with my car while visiting the Atlanta area. He kept me updated on the status of my repairs and made sure we were satisfied with the service and competitively priced parts. Professional, courteous and an excellent communicator. I highly recommend this location!

Wasn t our first negative experience with pep boys but will for sure be our last. Asked them to look at a window that was off track and stuck. We didn t want a new motor or anything out in the window as this is an old car. We just wanted to window back on track and completely up. The man randomly came up with $350 in repairs and checking for damage. When we weren t happy they went down to $250 randomly. We decided against and got the car back. When car was returned to us the window was even more off track and looked worse than when we had brought it in. They claimed they hadn t touched it only looked at it. Ended up getting the car home and took the whole door apart. Ended up fixing the window ourself and saved $350.
