I m not sure how this shop has such a high rating. I would give zero stars if I could.Perhaps management has changed, but I had my insurance send my car here after it was hit while parked. I called to confirm that they would be able to fix my car in a timely manner, and they assured me they could.After myself and my insurance agent could not contact the shop via phone for weeks (go ahead, call them), I drove over to see the progress on my car. You can see from the photos below that my car was parked, had not been worked on, and employees were in the back talking and listening to music. Maybe they couldn t hear the phone.Do yourself a favor and send your car to a different collision shop like I had to after a month of MB Collision holding my car.

Maurice and his crew did a phenomenal job to my car! I hope the before and after photos speak volumes.I brought my car to 10 different body shops nearby (mostly chains) until I settled with MB Collision. Mines was an out-of-pocket repair, and the other places were either too expensive, too long to wait, or flatly rejected my car. Maurice, on the other hand, listened to my need intently and explained the repair process patiently. The pricing was the most competitive, so was the time to repair: It only took several days to repair after all the parts arrived.MB Collision is an independent body shop with years of experience. Their bare-bone business model (there is no fancy wait room or dedicated receptionist) makes sure that you'll get the best service and excellent customer care with affordability. This shop is totally scam. My took back my 2021 sprinter van incomplete after 1+ year in shop and this guy promised me to pay invoice of whatever cost to complete repair.Since then this guy never respond my call and I have no other choice that paying $1100+ out of pocket.so folks be smart and stay away of this shop

My initial interaction was amazing with Maurice over at mb collision. Will definitely have him handle my future troubles. Terrible service. I called this shop to have body work done on my Mercedes Benz. I told Maurice that I was looking for someone that knew how to fix these particular car. He assured me he was my guy. The shop had my car for almost a month, did not completely fix my car, ( said he was still waiting for parts a whole month later) that i would need to come back. I pick my car up and my check engine light was on. ( i did not bring my car with the check engine light on) my hood sensor was still on. I brought the car in after a finder bender i was in, so the sensor was on when i brought it. He knew it. He fixed the latch on my hood and told me, nobody told him he was suppose to clear the sensor. He was so rude about it as well, like it was my fault. I took my car and left and he refused to refund any of my funds although he did not complete the work and im going to have to pay someone else to clear that sensor. I brought my F150 King Ranch in for some repairs after a bad accident, after being denied at various other shops i found MB Collision, Maurice assured me they could repair my truck and YES they did! HORRIBLE SHOP! They had my vehicle for a whole month and never touched it. I kept calling to check on my vehicle and the owner told a different lie every time I called. I m glad I trust my intuition and went to see for myself. My insurance company paid for a rental and the rental coverage ran out because this shop did not work on my vehicle and just left it sitting on their lot. So now I have to take my vehicle to a more professional shop and will have to pay for my rental out of pocket until the work is done which could take 3 more weeks. Anger is not even the word. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!!!Service: Body & Trim

The guy i spoke to was extremely rude. Said I should find a shop that do things quicker when I asked him a simple question about the timeline for my vehicle. Never again.

Larry did a great job on my Cadillac Esclade. He did what he said he was going to do and ordered the part I need for my car. Then when I showed up to bring him my car he remembered my name and had everything ready ready to go. He was $30 cheaper than everybody else and did the work better and more thorough than any other mechanic I have ever been too. It was a pleasure doing business with Larry and he knows so much about cars. He was very personable, honest, and gave me a great deal for the work he did. I will definitely be recommending all of my family and friends to him in the future. He is truly a mechanic you can trust and rely on!

I am a repeat customer at Buckhead Auto Center and I love my service every time. I would recommend anyone and everyone to go here. Every time I go, employees go out of their way to make my experience amazing. Today, a nice gentleman named Josh changed my oil. My experience was quick and easy. He changed my windshield wipers and identified areas which I may need to pay attention to in the upcoming months. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating.

I had a dented bumper and spoiler on my Honda Civic repaired here and couldn't be happier with the result. Maurice is friendly, professional, and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. The dent he pulled out of my car was pretty impressive - I had 3 other reputable places tell me they would have to replace the whole bumper, and I wasn't surprised that they did. But somehow Maurice was able to pull it out, do a fantastic repaint job, and now my car looks like new again.

I have needed a lot of work on my '98 Toyota Corolla, and by far Larry's Place has been the best place I have been to, and the only place I will go to from now on. When I first visited his fine establishment, it was on a friend's recommendation and I needed my alternator replaced. Sure the price was great, but most importantly, him and his staff are the most personable, honest, and accommodating people that I have had the pleasure to deal with. I always recommend him to my all my friends whenever they have an auto issue. This is really a once in a life-time place with wonderful values and an enormous amount of care put into their customer service!

I have been going to Larry Johnson's Buckhead Auto Center for about 6 years now and I have never been disappointed in the service and quality of work that they offer. They are proactively able to diagnose issues and get repairs done in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are reasonable and competitive with other local repair shops. Larry cares about his customers and goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.

(Because we can't give zero or negative stars). They WRECKED MY VEHICLE. Not a ding, or a scratch or a small dent. The entire quarter panel was smashed in when they had it for an oil change, and Larry Johnson has refused to pay for damages or even respond after first acknowledging the incident in email and first saying he would take care of it. His manager on duty acknowledged the obvious damage when I picked up the truck, and his demeanor showed that he did not care a bit. It was almost as if was just business as usual there. He did not even offer to call Larry to let him know of the significant damage. That is not all! The same time I took another vehicle (SUV) in for A/C work, battery and an oil change. After an initial inspection, Larry called and gave me very specific details on what needed to be done and the cost of each separate item. I approved the work. When I picked it up, the bill was over $200 more. It turned out that in addition to obviously padding the labor they tried to charge me $100 or so for rotating tires. Tires were never a part of ANY discussion. In fact, the tires were fairly new (which is obvious) and had about 5K miles. This was an obvious attempt to pad the bill (and I don t assume the new tires were actually rotated). The same manager had no explanation for any of this and did not even say a word as I demanded changes. He just looked down. Finally, before they wrecked my truck they offered, and I accepted, a $90 detail. The detail was, at most, a quick wash and polish that lasted a week. They did not even touch the interior. Maybe they were going to get to that before they wrecked it. As I type this, a lawsuit is on its way to Larry Johnson. I gave him a couple weeks to make it right and his response is to ignore it. He can now pay a lawyer or higher insurance, in addition to me. These issues are not failed repairs or parts, or merely a bill higher than expected. It is a pattern and practice.

Larry Johnson has never disappointed me. He cares about you, your car and his work. He has done several jobs on my Lincoln Towncars from air conditioning to dent removal. Prices are fair and work is done in a timely manner. The new shop is just around the corner and much easier to find than the old shop. He truly is a mechanic you can trust.

Buckhead Auto Center has always been great to me! Always super nice on the phone when I call to make a reservation and are always trying to get me in as quick as possible! Def ask for JOSH to work on your car! He is nice, passionate about cars, does a great job and always honest about what your car needs! Def a good thing for girls! I always request him when I get my car serviced!

Thieves with a big smile.Short Story:-Took my car in for jerking issues.-Larry told me my car was acting up because I had aftermarket parts on it, and I needed dealer parts.-Car had worse jerking AFTER they worked on it-Was charged for dealer parts-Parts were actually from AutoZone-I confronted Larry. Larry refunded me for parts and labor-A reputable shop later found the issue was a rusted electrical wire. Replaced for under $100.Long Story:Took my car in for jerking issues. I told Larry about my previous experience with shops not fixing my cars problems, instead charging me for TRYING to fix the issue. He assured me he would not give me my car back until it was fixed.They installed new engine mounts and charged way too much labor. Takes literally 5 minutes and 4 bolts to replace these.When I came in to pick up my car it jerked worse than before. Larry recommended I give them another chance to fix the issue. He was not willing to refund me for the incorrect diagnosis and unnecessary work.The parts still had stickers on them with part numbers. I googled the part numbers and it turned out the parts were from AutoZone. I went back to the shop and confronted Larry, he blamed another employee at the shop. I was refunded.They will not let you look at your car while they work on it and show you exactly what is broken/needs replaced. Every reputable shop I've worked with allows you to see your car on the lift before they work on it, so you can see exactly what the issue is.Stay far away from these over priced thieves. Do not believe these fake positive reviews.

Maurice was great from start to finish. I have used him several times to fix things on my vehicle. He is honest and genuine. He never over charged me for anything. And figured out ways to save me money but still get the job done. He will be the only person I use to make my repairs going forward.

I highly recommend this shop! Larry makes getting your car fixed a breeze . The estimate was was more than reasonable and the repair was executed in a timely matter . Larry has excellent character , and cares for his customers. I've made him my "go to car repair man" and you should to !

If I could give Larry at Buckhead Auto Care 6 stars, I would. I called Buckhead Auto Care as I was on my way to take my car to another, closer shop to get the rear brakes done. He quoted me a way better price than the other shop, and said that he would include an oil change as well. I brought it over to him in the late afternoon and told him that it may need a brake fluid flush as well, and if it did need it to go ahead and do it. I picked it up the next morning; the brake job and oil change were done perfectly, they had done the fluid flush as it was quite dirty, and the car was returned to me with both the exterior and interior cleaned. The fluid flush, brake job, and oil change still came in at less than the nearest "competitor" had quoted me for the brake job alone. Larry is a stand-up guy and I'll be taking my BMW 135i to him with all my automotive needs. Can't recommend this place enough.

I was in a car accident and did not want to go through insurance. They fixed my vehicle same day and at a cheaper rate than 6 other collision shops I had went to after being told it would be a three day to two week wait from several other collision shops nearby. Recommend 10 out of 10 and this will now be the place I repair all my vehicles! Thanks so much!Service: Body & Trim

Had my car in his shop for over a week. It was returned late, damaged, and incomplete. A list of empty promises later maurice refused to pay or fix the damage or reimburse me for the extra time and work I had to spend. I ve lost an extra 68% in repairs on top of what I already paid. I would give 2 stars instead of 1 is because he used to run a good ship, but those days seem to be long gone (back in 2017 was my last visit prior to this). He s serviced 4 of my cars and referrals. I will not be referring anymore, or wasting time dealing with someone who s regressed to an amateur. He s lost his best employees as well. Bummer.

Larry Johnson's Buckhead Auto Center is one of the best auto repair shops in town and I know sometimes they get busy...but that's because everyone knows this and takes their cars there! I have called last minute for little emergencies a couple of times and always the answer is come on by. Larry does his best to make sure he can take care of everyone and if sometimes he is unable to accurately give me a wait time I am cool with it because I know if I need him in a jam I can rely on him. Seriously I would rather wait a little for someone to give me an auto repair major or minor that I can trust than a guaranteed wait time for some possibly sketchy work.

Changing my review....I now own a brand new Jeep and I will take it here over the dealership. I trust them...period. They have been consistent and reliable going on 7 years now for me as a customer. Even when something goes wrong as usually does with cars, they fix the problem and come up with satisfactory solutions. I don't feel talked down to or like I am being taken to the cleaners because I am a woman and do not understand cars much. Trust is important to me and I trust them...end of story!

I was in a car accident and wow is all I could say. I can t even tell my car was hit because it looks brand new. They gave me a great deal with great quality as results!!! Big Thanks to Maurice & Mario for the great work and fast service they did for me to get me back in my car!!!! I will return for any future body work needed and will refer everyone I know here! Where do I start.. Larry is a true FAMILY man. Meaning, he treats his customers as if they are his kin. That's the vibe I get everytime.I had 1996 Lincoln Town Car, needed an engine replacement. Most shops said it was worthless and a waste of time and money, but at Buckhead AutoCenter, they seen the potential and since then, my car has been running like new. I've had a few major jobs done here and they've always been very prompt in completing the job and always make sure it's done right. The honesty here is amazing, It's a huge weight off my shoulders knowing I can go somewhere without getting ripped off in some way.

I recently moved to Atlanta, and needed a mechanic. Larry Johnson was the first one I tried, and I was very thankful. The shop has friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service. I like the new location, too! It is closer to food and things to do while you wait for your car repairs.
