Update 2024- buy your tires online and ship them here. They receive, mount, balance your tires and a charge a third of any other place. I stopped buying tires at tire shops. These guys are the best and are proud of the work they do.Top notch. Good at their job and they don t cut corners. One of my patches wasn t right, so they did it over again. First of all, they are willing to repair tires and don t try to cheat you into buying new ones and second of all when they do it, they do it, right.

Got told the tire would be one price but after checking out it s now another price. I don t like shady business dealings. Won t be coming back here

I jumped in my car and my low-air indicator for my tire was on. I called every major franchise place nearby and not one of them was able to get me in to check on it. I called K & W and they said- bring it in over, we ll get you fixed! This is why I love small locally owned businesses. I pulled up, they met me outside, and immediately got to work on my car. There was a nail in my tire. They pulled it out, put on a patch, and had me back on the road I. Less than 45 minutes.This place is small, but the customer service is BIG!!

Saved the dayWas in town for thanksgiving and realized I had flat went to K&W and big bubba quickly diagnosed that I did NOT need a new tire but just a patch/plug THEY literally saved the day and my pocket by checking first.

Found a screw in my tire about a mile down the road at 4pm on a Thursday. They had me patched and out the door in 30 minutes for only 30 bucks! Great service!

Completely ignored the bad bearings which is the noise I asked about. They fixed everything around it.I updated my review from 1 to 5 because my breaks are still going strong. However, if someone comes in asking about one thing don t deflect.

Absolutely fantastic - they're responsive to the phone and are honest and upfront with pricing and what your vehicle truly needs. Don't be scared off - some of the staff are quiet, and the owner is incredibly kind.Don't run to the dealership, support a fantastic business that happens to be black-owned and run.

I stopped there after driving by the place many times before driving on Memorial because I needed to have my brakes checked. The mechanic was very courteous, professional and very efficient in getting the repairs done. The price was decent and I didn't have to wait long. The other guys there were great as well. I would recommend you take your car there if needing repairs I'm taking my daughter's car as well to have it checked out.

Mark was super polite, quick, and honest. He did a great job on my breaks, and I don't hesitate to recommended this small business. So much better than a chain tire shop. I felt taken care of and never like he was trying to sell me anything extra. Thanks!

I came to K&W Tires and Brake Shop after reading good google reviews and they were not wrong! During car maintenance, my mechanic told me I had a nail in my tire. I called K&W and they told me I could come right over to take care of it. There was one gentleman ahead of me and I was still in and out in 20 minutes. They carefully checked my tired twice and removed some tiny pebbles - no nail to be found. I saw that they were thorough. They refused to take any money since they didn't fix anything. I highly recommend them and will be going here again in the future.

Just moved to Oakhurst and was looking for a tire repair place in the area. I arrived at 9:15 and was out of there at 9:35. $27 for a tire patch.Myself and another guy were chatting about how we found the place 'good Google reviews'. The guy working on my tire overheard 'its probably because we don't sell people things they don't need.'In the current economic climate - what else are you looking for? Would definitely recommended K&W.

Thank you to this wonderful team! I got a flat tire on my birthday, and they did a wonderful job navigating me to the most affordable solution (they tried to patch the tire before replacing it after finding one too many nails), and informing me with each step in the process. Also, I had a tag I couldn't get off because of rusted screws, and they broke a screwdriver in the process of getting it off for me. Thank you gentlemen! Respect and appreciation. Happy to have found kind-hearted and reliable mechanics

If i could give them 10 stars I would...I came dead set on wanting a wheel alignment.. Marcus said nah u need some tires..i said nah I'll get the tires later.. he said u working backwards.. get the tires then get an alignment... boy was he right!!!!Got 2 good used tires soon as i pulled off i felt the difference.. thank god for honest ppl like himHe also did my oil change!!These are good ppl!! And i highly recommend!!

I went here because I had an emergency need for a new tire. I called ahead of time to make sure they had the tire I needed and what it would cost. They told me $60. So, I show up and then they tell me they don't have any used tires...only new. So it would be $105. Nobody mentioned new vs new on the phone. Being that I had no choice, I agreed. When they finished, they asked me if I was taking the old tire...I said no. They said that'll be a $5 fee. Mind you, I am a rideshare driver and was particularly broke that morning so I had to ask a friend to venmo me money on the spot to cover this cost. When I finally gave them my card to charge it, the guy said it would be $118 with taxes and fees. NONE OF THIS WAS MENTIONED IN ADVANCE. What choice did I have? They had already done the work. So I had to call my friend again to borrow MORE money. The charge ended up being $118.80...almost double what was quoted to me at $60.This place will nickel and dime you for every little thing. I will never go there again, and I will tell everyone I know not to.

Mark is a true professional . This group is honest and straightforward and takes the time to explain what they're doing. Finally found a good brake shop. I would recommend them to anyone. Save your time and money and skip the chain shops.

Absolutely amazing! We came by right before closing, (15 minutes before) and they patched up our tired before closing. Great prices, great service, great quality. So thankful for everyone here! HIGHLY recommend to anyone who needs tire help!

I took my truck to have my brakes looked at and these guys did an awesome job. They also repaired a tire on one of my other vehicles. I would definitely recommend these guys to anybody looking for fair, honest, and quality work on their vehicles.

Had a blow out on the freeway. Called these people and checked to see if they have my tire size. They said they did & gave me a price. I double checked and said I will drive there on my flat. When I got there going 1 mile/hr, the price was 2.6x what they quoted. I told them what was quoted on the phone, they denied it. I left, preferring to run my wheel than to give my money to these people.

Dealer quoted $600 for brakes, and a two month wait. Mark, the gentleman who greeted me upon arrival, quoted $169 and zero wait. Was in and out in 40 minutes. Will be coming here for brakes and tires from now on.

Pulled up with a nail stuck in my tire right when they opened and Nigel was friendly, prompt, and did a great job patching it up. Very reasonably priced, quick, and quality work

I was told they had my tires in stock, only to show up and find out they had lied to me on the phone. Just be honest next time and don't waste people's time
