I've used them in the past and they've done decent work at resonable prices. Lately, they have become outrageous with prices and attitudes. They require you pay fees and other diagnostic tests that are not needed but to increase their profits. Customer service has decreased, the receptionist speaks to you like its a privilege to talk to them, not that you're a paying customer. Very disappointed in the service and will take my two vehicles elsewhere to be serviced.

Honest & thorough shop. I took my car in for an inspection which was $69 (very reasonable) which included a test drive and they put it on the hoist. They said "everything looks good" & that it was a "really good choice, who did you buy the car from?" The reason I know they are honest is because it is an old car and they couldn't see when the timing belt was changed (there was no sticker and it didn't say anything in my owners manual). Instead of just blindly recommending that I do it, they asked if I knew when it was done - it had been changed shortly before the inspection. Good to know there are some good guys around!

Please heed the many warnings saying that this establishment will place random parts in your car without your knowledge and overcharge you for it. I brought my car in recently and was charged for a part without communication only for one member of the staff yell at and berate me, use video cameras and microphones as ways to condescend, and question customer integrity. For your sanity, please take your car elsewhere-- you will be better taken care of!

I am no longer in Atlanta but wanted to make sure I left a positive review for K&M. After the place I had been taking my car for a decade was bulldozed I had to find a new place I could trust with my aging vehicle. I am thankful I found K&M! They took care of my vehicle and did some major repairs before I moved to a new state. I wish I could remember their names, but everyone was helpful and took me seriously, which doesn't always happen for women. I have recommended them to folks I know still in Atlanta and have gotten positive feedback from them as well! If you need trustworthy, knowledgeable people, who won't take advantage of you and your wallet, K&M is the place.

My car is there right now. I've never worked with an Auto Repair shop so communicative, straight forward, and honest. They don't talk down to me because I'm a woman. They don't invent other things to fix while tending to a problem. They get the car in an out at super speed. And I've compared their prices, they are clean.

This place was great! We were traveling though on a road trip from Nashville to Atlanta, when our check engine light went on. Not only did they fit us in at 3pm on a Friday, but they also ran a full diagnostic, ordered parts and got everything done by 5:15pm! The staff was very friendly and they did a great job! I ve been a K&M customer for several years now. The owners and gentleman at the front desk are extremely helpful and transparent. I fully trust them with explaining the problem and providing an adequate solution. Highly recommend K&M.

As a woman it is difficult to walk into a mechanics and not feel completely taken advantage of. I will never go to any other auto repair shop after my experience at K&M. I felt respected and for once did not feel like I left with a whole list of problems that needed to be repaired. Kaz is the kindest man and kept me updated on the status of my car every step of the way. 10/10 experience!Services: Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have gone to K&M ever since moving to Atlanta 7 years ago. I can honestly say, I know nothing about cars besides that I should regularly get oil changes and keep air in my tires. However, Kaz always make sure I know what exactly needs to be done in order keep my car functioning safely and efficiently. Called this place asking for a quote on upper radiator hose for my BMW. In the middle of our conversation I mentioned I purchased the part & the technician said we are not interested in your business & we do not use customer supplied parts & immediately hung up the phone. Had he given me the opportunity, I would have simply replied I was okay using parts they ordered considering I could return the part I purchased from rock auto . Extremely unprofessional. Cannot recommend a business that behaves in this manner.

This place was great! We had car troubles driving theough Atlanta and they were able to fit us in on very short notice on a Friday afternoon! They did a great job and were able to get us back on the road in 2 hours! Very friendly and helpful! I took my car to VW TWO TIMES and they said nothing was wrong but my EVC light kept coming on and my friend at work referred me and they found the problem and fixed it! My car runs better than when I originally bought it and it runs at a lower RPM now. K&M fixed my car that I thought was totaled after another mechanic (Firestone) did some shoddy work which left it undriveable. She s running better than ever now. I ll be coming back for sure. I would recommend K & M to anyone.

These guys are awesome! They came highly recommended to me by my stepfather, who had an issue with his Honda that the dealership couldn't even fix. They fixed the issue with no problem! These guys have fixed both of our cars at the best rates that you can find within 5 miles!

My experience with K&M was professional, pleasant, and quick. I'm a young woman in my 20s and don't know much about cars, but I feel safe and comfortable bringing my car to them without fear of being overcharged or having shoddy work done on my car. My roommate and I have both had them work on our cars this week, and will be continuing to have them work on our cars. Bryan in particular was very pleasant! I trust K&M 100%.

I have been living in Atlanta for the past two years and have had a hard time finding a trustworthy mechanic/garage. An acquaintance of mine told me to give K&M a try...I did, and so far I have yet to regret it! K&M and Bryan (spelling?) has been very reasonable with prices and has been completely honest with me. K&M has mounted new tires for me, gave me an oil change, replaced an O2 Sensor, installed new spark plugs and some other minor miscellaneous repairs. Bryan has always quoted me the costs before K&M tackles the repairs and I have not had to pay more than was quoted...if anything, I have paid less. Another thing I appreciate about K&M is that they are not trying to rob me of all my money. While working on my car, there have been other minor issues found but they have been good about telling me that they aren't detrimental and can be fixed at a later date. I will continue to use K&M and if you're looking for a reliable, reasonable and trustworthy mechanic/garage....give them a try!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery, Oil change

Decent service, completed the oil change in less than an hour on a Tuesday morning. However, there's one major issue I have. They said they did a "general check" for my vehicle and pointed out that my air cabin filter needed replacement, and I agreed to let them replace it. But they didn't mention that my car battery also needed a replacement. 3 days after my visit, my car battery died, and I don't know why they didn't check for that. If I had known, I would have asked them to replace it when I visited. Huge oversight on their part, as they didn't check for such a major issue.Service: Oil change

Great service and honest and reliable workers! Had my car quoted for close to $1000 for a starter repair at AAA Toco Hills; After speaking with an employee here - I was given the exact price of my starter part, and the exact price of labor (which AAA was exaggerating heavily) . The K&M employee (sorry I don't have a name) was honest, upfront, extremely helpful, and quoted me a more reasonable price! Would highly recommend!!

I needed to go in on a Saturday morning for an emergency battery replacement. Not only were they able to get in me in lightning fast, they gave me an honest estimate for the work-up price to test the battery and also the most reasonable price for the battery I've seen on the market. The last time I had this battery replaced was about two years ago and they charged me more than double the price that K&M ended up doing it for. And I was in an out in under an hour (more like half an hour total time). Great service, great price. Highly recommend.

This place is very clean and friendly. The front desk was very polite and patient and took great care of me. I bought a nice 2011 4Runner and got all the work on it from here. Great quality service with VERY reasonable pricing. I have had K&M do almost all of my car work since I discovered them. I've always found them to be straightforward about what needs to be done and accommodating on schedule. They get the work done when they say they will, and if they are too busy, they make me a time to come back. I've had other mechanics take my car just to get the work and then constantly say they are delayed - K&M asks my urgency and gives me a realistic idea of the timeline. They've done everything from tires to alignment to oil changes to brake master cylinder to fixing body mechanical issues (sliding door on minivan) to electrical problems (broken wiring harness). They always show me their price on parts, and try to get a good deal on them even when the part is a bit obscure/specialty. When I would check on my own, I'd find they were honest about the cost of the part, and while some repairs have cost me a lot of money, I've never felt they overcharged me or did anything unnecessary. I've worked with Kas and Moody for years, and now Brian. Quite simply, I trust these guys. In all my years they offered consistent service and I trust they would never screw me on anything. They have gone out of their way to help me when they knew I was in a pickle having a BMW that has turned into a maintenance nightmare. I cannot fully express to you the confidence I have dropping my car off and knowing it is left in good hands. They have repeatetedly earned my respect and service. I trust only K&M to work on my vehicles. Even if only an oil change - I trust them. I've been bringing all of my vehicles to K&M for over 10 years. My son, my ex-husband, and everyone I've ever referred business to, continues to do the same. You may have to drop off your vehicle for a day, as they tend to be busy, but your vehicle will be repaired and you will not be over charged. Kaz and Moody are the best!

First of all, after 20 plus years of taking my car's to K&M I've never gotten anything but good mechanical attention by honest people who do their work well and are pleasant to me.Also, if you have what seems like an overwhelming number of problems that you can't afford to fix all at once they will prioritize the repairs for you so that you can have the most important work done first and the least later on. They will also let you know if you're dealing with a potential safety problem.The owners, Moody and Kaz have a great sense of humor as well. I have never left there unhappy.

Friendly, very professional and fair. The alternator died on my 2013 Chrysler 300 and they had it fixed in a day with no hassle.I would definitely go back to them again, I certainly felt like they were very upfront with all of their cost.

I was recommended to this place by a friend. I went to the dealership to have a headlight replaced and was told it would cost almost $1400 ($900 for the wiring harness + labor). I took it to K & M; they were able to order this same wiring harness and put in a new headlight in under two hours. Total cost: $139! I will definitely be coming back to them for regular maintenance on my car.

True story: they stole my catalytic converter while it was on their lot - then they charged me to repair it ! Spoke to a lawyer, they are liable under Bailor-Bailey Act, going to sue them. Watch Out !Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

They were good...fixed only the issues I asked them to after they did a full diagnostic on my car. I called around and the price they quoted me for the issues were comparable to other mechanics in town. Gave me a list of other recommended work needed, which is helpful. Fast service. I would come back.
