Be prepared to wait and wait and wait. I had Roger Garner as my point of contact there. I did his job in calling the insurance company to get the claim settled because he couldn't reach anyone at StateFarm. I always got through and got money for all the items he wanted me to pay for out of pocket. Just as an example-the day I picked up my vehicle, the exhaust was still damaged from when I left it . So, now I'm waiting again for something so basic that should have been taken care of before they called to say my vehicle was ready. Not to mention that it took a week before they even ordered the parts for my car, yet provided the insurance company and myself an estimate for the approved repairs. Take your vehicle anywhere else, but here.

I was in a wreck a few weeks ago so my lawyer wanted me to get an alternate quote from a Buick dealership that uses authentic OEM GM parts. I called Jim Ellis collision and he wrongly told me that they only do 2014 and above quotes for collisions or maybe that s for his dealership only but I was able to get an appointment at Carl, Black and Roswell Will never go back to Ellis !!!

My 2018 Mazda CX9 was repaired here and I ended up with a car in which parts were left unpainted, other parts were several shades of white. Staff was rude, and work was an F.

I recently had auto repairs done on my Audi A7 at Jim Ellis Collision Center and they did a phenomenal job! I would definitely recommend them to take care of all your auto body repair needs!!!

Was not impressed by their service at all. Came in for a simple bumper repair. Was repeatedly told that I would be able to pay by the credit card of the carwash that damaged my car. I was told the repair would take 5-8 business days which was in actuality 2.5 weeks. I had to reach out to them to get any updates on the car and they often time did not return my call. Once the repairs were done, I was told that he would not accept credit card until I hassled him to keep his word. After I eventually got my car back, there was multiple places where the bumper was damaged....the same bumper that I had gone in to get replaced.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

UPDATE: So Jim Ellis collision center didn't fully repair my vehicle. During their "recalibration" they somehow recalibrated my turbo-charger and now are claiming 'it wasn't us.' This car was running fine before I brought it in to them and now I'm getting codes popping up. I'm telling you with all that I am, take your car somewhere else if you can because it's always something with ALL of their dealerships and now their collision center. It irks me that they took a car in for repair and then gave it back with an issue non existent before they received it. So yes, next stop is my attorneys office.I'm neither here nor there when it comes to Jim Ellis Collision Center. They do and will repair your vehicle but, there's always a but with them, don't count on getting it back to you in less than 2 months or more. It's not just me saying this. Read up on them here and on other sites, and you'll find out that they love taking your vehicle in for repairs but getting it back from them is a whole different agenda. After my Alfa Romeo was 99% completed, I was told they were waiting on 1 parking sensor to arrive the next day (at this point they've already had my car 2 months and waiting on parts is their STANDARD answer to everything). I received a call on Thursday that the part arrived and.........it would be ready Friday of the following week. Me: you need 8 days to install 1 sensor to the bumper? But wait.........I'm not done yet That following Friday I received a call that the part was installed and the car was ready to go...............ready to go to detailing and to get the car reconfigured, and it should be ready for 'pick-up' the following Friday they think. Yeah really, that's what they said, they think.Truthfully, and I do mean truthfully, I've had bad experiences with The Jim Ellis Group in their entirety over several years. My Saab, one Porsche for a repair and another occasion for a new purchase, my Maserati, and now this Alfa Romeo ordeal. I currently take my vehicles to other mechanics and specialty shops just to avoid dealing with them unless I have to take it to them specifically for dealer service or parts. So I can't say that they're bad guys but I can't also say they're my go to either. All of this to say if it were my choice I'd avoid them altogether, but that's just me, but it's tough when they own nearly all the different car brands in the Atlanta market. Just something to think about and of course just my opinion!

They "repaired" the front bumper on my Audi after a senior citizen hit me head-on in a parking lot while I was completely stopped at a stop sign. In addition to a horrible paint job (super thin), they broke about half of the plastic insert clips while putting it back together, so they just decided to hot glue it all back together. These people are HORRIBLE, but you won't know it until the paint starts chipping and pieces start falling apart.

Asked to have my car routine maintenance done before it expired, asked to have a buzzing sound and burning smell looked at after my car was rear ended. None of those things were done once I got my car delivered to me. The 360 dollars I spent to replace a tire that had a "nail" in it, once I received my car tire was still low and leaking air. Would give negative stars if I could because I kept asking to make sure it gets done before I had it shipped back to me.

They wouldn't do body work on my VW Tiguan, because it was a 2014 (too old for them), so I now have an appointment with Nally VW and they said, absolutely, they work on 2014 VW Tiguans and will gladly do the work. I will NEVER recommend Jim Ellis VW again!!!

I could not recommend Jim Ellis Collision more. Specifically Roger and Shane made my experience more than pleasant and productive. I was involved in a hit and run, and I have never had to repair anything major on my car. First and foremost, Roger and all of the car detailers did a fantastic job on my car (looks brand new after a horrible incident with significant, structural damages to my car). In addition, there was a large amount of miscommunication between the insurance, Jim Ellis, and my car dealership causing the repairs to take much longer than expected. Roger specifically took matters into his own hands and somehow got my car to me within 24 hours of the issues arising. Lastly, Roger informed me that Georgia is a "diminished value state", saving me a large portion of money. I never would have known this if Roger didn't say something to me. I could not recommend Jim Ellis more. Thank you, Roger and Shane, and Jim Ellis for a great experience. 10 stars!Service: Auto detailing

I dropped my car off to be repaired here this past summer in July. I experienced terrible service and a prank pulled on me. I had my car door repaired because I had damaged my mirror one day when I was running late to my part time job.When I initially called they could not give me an estimated date of repair completion and told me some parts were back ordered I patiently waited about 2 months to make an appointment to actually drop off the car for the repairs and then another month for it to be completed. I was planning to go out of town to visit a friend and had to rent a vehicle which is why I wanted to know the estimated time of completion so I could calculate the cost of my rental which I had to pay on top of my monthly car payments. The response I was met with was that they could not guarantee a specific date of completion which is fine but I would at least have expected an estimate which is what I was asking.When I came to pick up the car it was missing molding on the drivers side I was lied to and told this small part was back ordered for months. The last time I called to find out about the part I heard people laughing in the background so I realized they were pulling a prank on me. After this I reordered the part from a different dealership and they confirmed the part had never been back ordered in the system. I had to pay extra to get this part shipped from a different dealership when it should have been included in the cost of my repair.Overall I had a terrible inappropriate experience at this collision center and I do not recommend it to anyone. How do I start?Let me begin by saying I've been involved the car scene for a very long time now. I have very good eye for paint imperfections as I used to make a living off of it!David Bassett was my advisor, he kept me updated from day one all the way until my car was finished. Very professional!I was very hesitant about their work due to my experience, however I was wrong!The car paint is PERFECT, it matches fine, and no imperfections whatsoever!The job done by the Ellis team was very well executed!Also David Bassett hooked me up at VW for my service!Thank you Ellis team!

Terrible customer service. It took an email and 2 phone calls just to talk to somebody. After I brought my car in, they said it would take 20 min to get an estimate. Instead it took 3 days and 3 phone calls. Then they emailed an estimate and said they couldn't fix it, after saying they could and provided no explanation whatsoever.

Called about bringing in my 2021 VW Cross Sport. I was told it would be a year before they could get parts although they had never saw the estimate to know exactly what needed repairs. When having my car serviced at another dealer, they looked at my estimate and was able to locate all the parts. The dealership said there was no reason my car could not be repaired. I guess Jim Ellis just did not want the business or their manager would have checked on parts and not just blown me off.

They do an excellent job fixing your car. But you have to stay on top of them. Really would give 3.5 stars here. But they worked with me got me a really good loaner. Just daunting to have to keep calling and nit getting regular updates.

Ashley is amazing! I can t sing enough praises about her and everyone at Jim Ellis. I recently got into an accident that was not my fault. The person at fault s insurance company was offering me pretty much nothing to repair my Porsche. It took around 3 weeks of negotiations to get them to cover the full amount. Ashley did everything to get me that full amount and constantly kept me in the loop despite COVID impacting everything. I m so grateful to her and everyone there for their amazing customer service. My car looks amazing, definitely what I expected out of a Porsche certified repair shop! I couldn t thank her enough. I definitely would recommend coming here for any repairs!

The Collision Estimator, Ashley, was so professional and involved with my car. She kept me informed with the process, the insurance company, rental car, where my car was during the repairs, painting, and detailing.The repairs and painting we re phenomenal. Every detail was taken care of with perfection. The clean up and detailing made my car look like new.I drove 45 miles to Doraville to have my wrecked car repaired at Jim Ellis Collision. The professionalism and quality of work was spot on. I highly recommend Jim Ellis Collision.

Advisor was great with my 2017 Audi Q5, but sad it will take a minimum of 3-4 weeks to get parts because they come from Germany and with the install work, are so busy with FL cars from hurricanes. Two weeks in rental so far, hoping to find out when parts and work will be done, maybe 4-5 more weeks. Good communication with advisor and gave me honest timelines, so not really a surprise.Hopefully, time there will be worth it. Many other Audi owners I know said that Jim Ellis is supposed to provide excellent work, especially Audi. So worth the wait.The Enterprise Rental car person was great, didn't get his name, but sure wish my insurance company allowed me to use them - I would have had to pay out or pocket - but would have saved me a lot of BS with Hertz on PTI.

Car was repaired very well, but the communication was horrible here. I needed to get other repairs done in the service department and wanted to schedule an appointment according to the completion of the repairs at the collision center. My representative did not communicate well at all. Had to go to the Audi North Atlanta to get repairs done because loaner vehicles were booked up for atleast 3 weeks. Had my representative had better communication skills I could have made an appointment since the repairs took about that long anyway. After years at Audi Atlanta location I will be taking my business to this location. They went above and beyond to accommodate and I'm very appreciative!

I am so very impressed by the work done here. Ashley my advisor was very knowledgeable and did an unbelievable job in getting my car restored. I would highly recommend this repair shop to anyone who unfortunately gets their luxury car damaged. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

Brandon Mueller took excellent care of me! He was courteous, professional, and efficient. He was able to get me seen the very same day I called and kept me notified on the progress of my repairs. He explained in clear detail what they would do to repair my car and afterwards he again explained what was done and assured me everything went as planned. I would use Jim Ellis Collision Center again and would recommend them to friends and family. They will not disappoint!

Our Service rep (Anthony), was not the best at returning calls and seemed he couldn't care less about our experience at Jim Ellis Collision Center. We were told our car would be ready on a certain day (mind you we are out of state) and the day the car was supposed to be ready we did not receive the car. Of course on the next day we were frantic about receiving our car in that our rental was due back in less than 24 hours (we wouldn't have had a car). I had to call him to try and figure out why the car hadn't been completed and asked him if there was anything he could do to help us, given our situation. I asked if he could walk down to the service department to see if they could potentially expedite our car. He told me that it would be too far of a walk for him and offered no other types of help. Eventually we had to resort to upper management (David) and he was very courteous and understanding and ensured that we would be taken care of, to the best of his abilities and not to worry about the rental. Shortly after talking with David, I got a call from Anthony telling me I shouldn't have tried to go over him to get my car serviced because he is the only one who knows what's going on with my car. And then said that they won't be paying for anybody's rental because that's not their responsibility (mind you this after talking with David and him saying they would pay for it, if it came to that). The lack of class and respect for the customer is just sad on Anthony's part. Non-the-less the car is fixed and drives . However, if you choose to go to this body shop, I would not recommend using Anthony as your service representative.

Even though Jim Ellis Collision Center is a high-volume repair shop, Brent Martin and David Bissette gave me the individual attention that I needed. Not only did they pay for my rental after my insurance coverage lapsed, they also thoroughly cleaned and detailed my car. They also gave me moment-by-moment updates on the status of my car, and returned my rental car to Enterprise after I picked up my vehicle. My car hadn't looked that clean since the day I bought it. Thanks Brent and David!
