I was out of town from Nashville, my engine light came flashing on and off, car sputtering, so we asked my air bnb host for recommendations and they sent us a great reference about JD Auto so I called and left a msg, JD called me back before his shop opened and said he could get me in and figure it out. He did more than that. He replaced all my old spark plugs/coils and topped off my oil in under 2hrs so we could make it to an event in time. He was kind and so helpful, fast and accommodating. I m truly grateful. The price was VERY fair. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE in the area or traveling through. Thank you JD!!

I made an appointment. I chose to wait for work completion. They were very professional. Took care of my repair in a timely manner. I will definitely be coming back in future. I did not feel like they were taking advantage of me because I was female

I bought an older, high mileage car and have for the most part had few problems. Each time JD has been able to resolve them for a very fair price. He is truly an honest mechanic. He replaced the valve cover gasket for a fraction of what a dealer would have charged. I also had an issue where the engine with shutting down installing and JD was able to replace the EVAP system parts causing the issue. He will also be very pragmatic about what makes sense to do and what is not urgent. this is especially useful if you were trying to plan ahead and budget so you can get an honest assessment and plan accordingly. I would recommend this mechanic.

In most interactions the beginning is always great with most businesses. But unfortunately that was not the experience I had.I wanted to support a black owned business but now I will be giving my money to someone else. As a business I just expected more professionalism from all the great reviews and referrals that I received from others to assure me the experience here would be great. Another one bites the dust. Communication did happen from the beginning but wasn t handled properly. A question that could ve been answered immediately and solved any problems was answered the next business day even though I sat there all day. Anytime I had a question I was looked at as if I was the issue. The sooner the important questions are answered the easier it is for both parties to move forward. Definitely feel like my time was wasted especially if they already knew my warranty wasn t going to be accepted after being told what it was. Could ve easily sent me on my way 10 mins after being there.Happy everyone else had a great experience that s been going there for years. Wish I could ve had the same, my car will be handled by a business who respects my time, conversation and money. Just happy I found a business that is fixing my car now and appreciates my business and is nice to women of color. Good luck to future clients.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Where has JD been all our lives? He s honest, consistent, friendly and fast. He s worked on both my and my partners vehicles and repaired all issues without fail. I m happy when I go there because I know I m in the hands of a professional who loves what he does. I cannot recommend him enough.

I have been taking my boyfriend truck to JD for years and he is an amazing mechanic and is not trying to rob you and has always found the issue and fixed it ..and we appreciate..we refuse to go anywhere else...he is truly a blessing..

I worked with the man himself - JD. He was so nice and let me make an appointment! So many shops around here have a "you must be here at 8:00am or forget about it" - which is impossible for a lot of people, which is infuriating. JD was patient and treated my car with a lot of care. He made great recommendations on my brakes and was honest about what it really needed! This is officially my forever auto shop!

Third time we have brought our cars here; EVERY time we have not only gotten exceptional service, fair prices and quick repairs ! JD is the type of local business owner we want in our neighborhood. He is friendly and upfront about what needs to be done. Not only would I come back here again and again but I have continually recommended JD to my friends and neighbors.

JD is my go to for anything auto related. Was so lucky to find him because he is 100% trustworthy, incredibly friendly and i always leave knowing my car is treated with honesty and quality care. I also love that it s a family run business and the prices are totally reasonable. Will always recommend JD!

JD s Auto Services are fast and affordable. I called JD Thursday afternoon and he told me to bring my car ASAP. When I arrived he gave me a quote and told me it would be ready Saturday before lunch. To my surprise he called me the very next day before 3pm. He had a cancellation and fixed my car very quickly. I ve never had such quick and amazing service. I will be returning! Thank you!

Life Saver! I dropped my wedding band in between my gear shift panel and JD removed it in less than 30 mins! He s also very reasonably priced! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JD Mechanics for auto repairs big and small!

We used to live in East Atlanta and used this place a few times. Great mechanic and HONEST. He checked the brakes and rotors in about 3 minutes right in front of me. Dropped it off around 9 am and it was done by 11. We just moved away and I am still gonna take my car there. Thanks for being an honest mechanic.

J D Auto Services have been providing quality services to me and my husband Rasheed for years. Jr. Is a stand up family oriented business man that is respected by many. Best mechanic in ATL! He is amazing, can work within a budget, and offers you full menu: do you want temp fix or permanent one. Our AC just needed refill of freon <the safe environmental one> and we were off under $20 <a freon can cost that much!>. He has repaired every ca, truck, RV we've had! We trust him fully!

Recently went close to closing time with a broken fan in my AC. JD's son was professional, personal, and efficient. He also gave me a discount on my oil change for having some work done. Highly recommend!

[posting for my mother]DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN.Instead of fixing your car when you present it with a simple oil leak, they overemphasize other Emissions issues when it is not even time for you to take an Emissions test.They quote you a ridiculous repair bill of $3000 and proceed to lie to you about various buyers willing to purchase your car for parts for $500.They do not even offer to look at or repair your oil leak.When you ask questions (at the urging of male friends) they become irritated, hostile, and tell you to pick up your car immediately or they will get rid of it.JUST GO ELSEWHERE!!!I ended up getting my car repaired for $420 instead of $3000.I plan on calling the Better Business Bureau too.

I have a Cadillac SRX...Love my Car....I took my Sister's Camry to be checked Out after getting an estimate from Toyota that looked like the National Debt...JD repaired that car for half the Price...I also found that he trained on Cadillacs....He's knows what he's doing and a Nice man...He's my new mechanic now....Can't say anything but Good things about JD and his Work.....

POOR, POOR, POOR. My husband's car has been there for 2 weeks. He calls no answer, he'll go by there and the shop is closed, THEN told him he needed a motor and wanted to charge him a ridiculous amount of money for it. DO NOT USE J D AUTO REPAIR for you vehicle
