I never leave reviews but this place was so amazing. This can be a very stressful process and the team here was very pleasant to work with every step of the way. The communication was fantastic. They emailed, texted and left voicemails about every step to make sure that I was informed as things were progressing. They managed communication with my insurance company so I didn't have be a go-between. And the Enterprise Rental car office is just below their office. Dropping my car off, getting a rental, returning the rental and picking my car up, was a completely seamless process. I will never go anywhere else for body work. If they cost more than another place, the service and convenience is worth the price difference. Oh...and my car looks better than brand new!

I called at least 4 other places before I chose Gerber on Cheshire Bridge Rd.Tiffany answered my call and was professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Unlike the other places I called first, Tiffany made me feel like my business would be valued and that my car would be in good hands.Once I arrived at the location,'s reception desk, Minnie continued the standard set by Tiffany. Minnie was so pleasant, professional, and organized.Chris, the estimator, did a great job explaining the process for the repairs and setting realistic expectations for the timeline. He was also professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. While I didn't meet Hank (tech) or Sean (paint), they both did an excellent job on my car. I made sure to get their names to give them a shout out because the folks behind the scenes often get overlooked.I definitely recommend Gerber on Cheshire Bridge. While I hope to never need their services again, I would use them.

Despite scheduling issues, my experience was great. The repair was flawless and they made no fuss about painting and installing a part I had bought myself. They even removed duct tape residue I had on the door. I worked with Laura who was fantastic and very professional. She kept me updated throughout the week and even offered to stay until 6:30 on a Friday despite the office closing at 5:30 so I could pick up my car after work. The repair experience made up for the scheduling issues and I was overall very pleased with the work they did.The receptionist I dealt with was pretty incompetent unfortunately. She said my appointment would be 9/1, but she'd have to call me back to tell me the time. Never got a call back. When I called back (don't know if it was the same woman), she acted like the conversation never happened and I had to start all over. I also had the same issue happen before when speaking to a different employee. She ran around in circles trying to explain if I could drop my car off the night before and then got somewhat rude when I tried to make sense of her rambling. When I finally showed up, she took forever to find my appt and it seemed like they'd lost it somehow. Meanwhile they also lost the appt booking for the guy that had walked in next to me.

After my vehicle was broken into, my insurance company contracted with Gerber to replace my window. The morning of the installation I received a text that my appointment window was from 8am - 5pm (a 9 hour window). Around lunchtime, my technician texted to tell me he would arrive between 1pm-2pm. 2pm came and went with no technician. I then asked for an update around 2:30pm. At 4:10pm, I was told the technician would arrive in 49 minutes (4:59pm). 5pm came and went with no technician. The technician finally arrived close to 6pm. While Gerber has since waived the $40 that I owed, it took me two calls to get that done, and I was initially told that they simply could not waive it. With that being said, the technician (Anthony) was courteous and quick when he arrived. It s clear that his supervisors simply burdened him with too many jobs in different parts of the city. This should not happen with modern day trip routing technology. If you're a working professional with obligations, I'd recommend going with Safelite, as they provide much firmer appointment times. Your insurance company probably works with them anyway. Avoid Gerber at all costs.

I had a great experience here. Tiffany and Ms. Minnie were a huge help. They are easy to work with and quick to respond.

This place is really a gem! This is my first time dealing with a collision shop for a car accident. The insurance adjuster (Tesha from Travelers) had recommended this shop to me and she stated that they have a fast turn around for fixing your car. I choose the Cheshire Bridge location because it was close to my job. From beginning to end the experience was pleasant. All the staff was nice from the secretary, to the repair man and Steve Ball. They were able to work with me when I had to drop my car off. Also, there was a Enterprise down stairs which was very convenient. Sometimes it can be a little meh to get time off from work and was able to drop it off during my lunch break. I could not stay for the full drop off process but they still took care of me. Steve Ball called frequently and gave me updates. The whole experience was wonderful. If I could give ten I would! They also was able to wait for me to come and pick up my car and retrieve the rental on my behalf. When my car was finished and picked up I was pleased and sad that this would be the end of the experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would come again

I was referred to various places by USAA after a car accident. A lot of the places USAA recommended (including other Geber locations) had mixed reviews. I am glad we chose the Cheshire Bridge location. They were wonderful to work with from Minnie at the front desk and Laura (the estimator). They kept me updated during the entire process and they were able to complete the repairs in one week. Amazing service.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Laura did a fantastic job overseeing my repairs after a wreck last month and truly went above and beyond. There were a few miscommunication issues with the office regarding my pickup details, but Laura made sure to communicate with me during the process and once my car was available for pickup. They were able to get my car in much quicker than I was expecting. I would definitely come back here in the future for any work I need done.Service: Body & Trim

This was the best repair experience I ve had for my car ever! Chris was very responsive and the repairs were prompt. My car looked spotless upon receiving it. He also gave me a good tip on getting out a stain in my passenger side seat. I hope to never need body work on my car again but if I do I will be going to Gerber.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Had my car fixed here last week and they are very considerate with my situation. Had to reschedule drop off and when I was ready to take it in their shop, they were able to fix it in a week! Mr. Grunt was the one who assisted me and was very helpful. I told him I won t have a rental car and will really need my car asap, he didn t guarantee it but said will be done in 2weeks, to my surprise they were able to fix it in a week. My car looks as nice as before the accident. Thank you!

Update: Gerber contacted me after the review and fixed the issue. I"m disappointed this is what it took to get my car fixed to my satisfaction as I have used this Gerber for all of my collision repairs in the past and have always been satisfied w/ service.__________________I brought my car in for a quick dent repair, and Gerber was able to fix that without issue. Our main problem is after the repair, a piece of the repair continues to become detached, and Gerber refuses to replace the broken part.We are very frustrated and just would like the car to be adequately repaired as was paid for in July 2022.Service: Body & Trim

If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars, I would. I recently had an issue with the bumper. I immediately took my car to Gerber's and although they were booked until June, they accommodated fitting me in. I was told that I would need to leave the car with them for a couple of days which I didn't mind.Well, a couple of days ended up being a couple of hours!!! They discovered that they only had to reset the bumper. Thank you Gerber for finding a quick, simple and cost effective solution. This is my third time using Gerber over a ten year span and the courtesy and professionalism has always been the best. They will continue to be my go-to for any body work and I highly recommend them for any collision repair.Service: Body & Trim

This is my second time utilizing Gerber and first time at this location and both experiences have been so positive. We were in a tough spot with the timing of the repairs due to a pre-planned road trip and Laura worked with us to ensure that we didn't have to pay out of pocket for our rental car or otherwise finagle getting our car picked up while we were out of town, enabling us to really enjoy our trip. She was so understanding, flexible, and kept us up-to-date along the way. I, of course, hope we don't need more repairs any time in the near future but if we do we're coming here and hope to work with Laura again! Thanks Laura & Gerber!Service: General repairs & maintenance

If I could give zero, or negative stars I would. I absolutely would never recommend this auto shop to ANYONE. I had dropped my car off to repair a small dent after given a competitive estimate. After never being contacted, three days from dropping off my vehicle they called me to let me know they backed into my car creating yet another dent. They never contacted me after dropping it off to let me know the online estimate still stood but only that they had caused another issue. When I went to pick up my vehicle - I noticed there was no license plate on the back (assuming they took it off when they had bumped into it). WRONG, they told me that I had dropped it off without a license plate. Why was that the first time that I was being told about the missing plate? The first thing that should have been done was give me a phone call regarding the missing tag as well as the estimate moving forward. There were no time stamps on the photos taken or security camera's to back up any accusations (we are in the year 2020, how do you not have the time a photo was taken). While speaking with the manager he had no sense of remorse or concern for this issue. The amount of unprofessionalism and lack of customer service is something I have never encountered. I will NEVER be taking my car or any future vehicles back to this establishment, nor will I recommend them - in fact I will ensure everyone I know hears of this and never provides them business.

I took my 2020 vehicle to Geber on Cheshire Bridge Rd to repair my bumper after a minor fender bender since they were given to me by the other driver's insurance company. What was supposed to be a 3-4 day repair turned into 9 days. They delivered the vehicle to me with a chip in the paint of the freshly painted bumper along with a cover cap missing. They insisted the part was correct. After viewing other vehicle at the dealership, it was evident a piece was in fact missing. When confronted with the photos, they conceded and agreed to fix both issues. I was told it would be a same day repair. That same day repair turned into two full days. When I picked up my vehicle, there was a white haze all over left side of the bumper. I also noticed several nicks in two different prices. I sent it back to them 3 times the same day before I finally gave up and left. QC seems to be foreign term to them.I never received a call from the general manager nor has he called Travelers back to discuss my complaints. A manager at Travelers gave the the dealership's collision center approval to proceed anyway.Gerber actually glued broken pieces back together and used those instead of ordering new replacement parts. That is completely unacceptable for a any vehicle let alone a brand new 2020.I would never trust Gerber with another repair.

Laura was great at ordering parts and scheduling. Clint was excellent with the repairs. The car looks great and oddly enough seems to be running smoother/better although I only got my side mirror fixed. Excellent team and service. If I ever need anything else done, I'm coming here. I strongly recommend.

The process was not smooth at all and ended with them causing scratches and marks on my car and refusing to fix them.I dropped off my car and they insisted they would start on it and keep me updated. I get the automatic update text a couple days later not the 8-10day window of fixing, but now a 3 week window. Fine, annoying that I was not actually called, but fine. Then the next week I get an automated message saying it will be ready the next day which would be over a week early. I change my work schedule to be able to pick up my car during business hours, but no calls received. I call them around 2pm and get informed it actually won't be ready, but they didn't bother to reach out and inform me. I go to pick up my car yesterday and find damage that wasn't there. My contact says it is marked on the intake sheet and I point out no, the door is marked on the intact sheet. The scratches on the bottom rocker panel and side mirror are not marked and were not there. He assures me he will do what it takes to make it right. Fast forward to today and the manager calls me in the afternoon and says I need to pick up my car those marks were there. I explain no, and the sheet locations and how that doesn't match up at all. The manager says I did it and they were there speaking loudly over me. I will admit I did lose my temper and use a curse word and hung up to end the conversation. I'm blown away by the poor communication and lack of accountability. I speak with my insurance adjuster and he informs me he has the manager on the line and the manager has agreed to fix the issues. I show up to pick up my car and see some attempted fixing. The manager does not come out to speak with me though I can see him in his office and my contact at Gerber is ducking his head behind his monitor like that will help me not realize he is avoiding speaking to me after assuring me this would all be dealt with. I will not use this company through my insurance again and apparently now will need to take pictures of every inch of my car before ever dropping off at a shop again. It really is sad as I have used Gerber before in another state and did not have these problems, but my experience with this shop will ruin it for the entire company.

I'm very impressed with this business. They went far above and beyond the Call of Duty. Chris who was the estimator was able to look and see that the positive battery terminal was loose. A person had rear-ended my car and the impact loosen the battery terminal connections causing the car not to hold a charge. Chris went and got a wrench and tighten the terminal connections which fixed that problem. The car repair has not been completed yet but I'm already very impressed with this location of Gerber Collision & GlassService: Body & Trim

Got in an accident. Brought my vehicle in. They "fixed it" and as I was picking up I noticed everything else they messed up. Scratched the front bumper pretty good and messed up some of my rear interior. So they took it back and "fixed it" again. I came back, again, and went to check it out and found yet another scratch. At that point I had had enough and decided to just leave and take to someone else. Keep in mind this is a brand new vehicle so very easy to tell where they screwed up. Would not reccomend to anyone at this point in time. I also found paint on my floor mat, not the end of the world, but still a lack of professionalism. Very disappointed in a company who is supposed to be very good.

Driving in Atlanta is like walking through a mine field. I have had many things happen to my car and since the first time my insurance sent me to Gerber Collision, at this location, I ask to go back to the same shop. Customer service is on point and their work is exceptional. Even if you go back for something not related to the incident, they help you out with whatever they can. They really go out of their way to make you comfortable and let you know your vehicle will be back to its original condition if not better. Making an appointment is the least of my worries and for me it is worth the wait when it comes to getting amazing service.

Took car to Gerber Collision & Glass for repair estimate after reading great reviews. The car was ultimately deemed totaled by insurance company due to cost of repairing a 2005 Honda CR-V. Clint and the team were amazing through the process and incredibly helpful even though they made no money! I would definitely take any future vehicle to them for repairs. They are a class act.

The initial work being done on my car was handled well, though the timeline was longer than first promised. After getting my vehicle back when the work was complete there was a loud grinding noise coming from my car. I returned to Gerber for them to correct the failed fix. It went as far up as the manager to try to push off the fixing of the non-fixed vehicle. The manager even went so far as to tell me to lie to a dealership about the work being done to see if they will fix it under my warranty. If you're getting basic work done, I think Gerber should be fine however, if you have any sort of complicated work to be done i do not think Gerber is up for the challenge. They spent more time trying to find excuses than to fix their mistake.

I brought my 2013 Honda Pilot to these guys after it had some front end damage from a pretty minor accident. We bought the car at Garber (good experience) and I've had it serviced there (also good) so I figured why not go for the trifecta and give their collision repair shop a shot. Long story short, they did a great job. It took one day longer than the original estimate (3 days vs 2), but the car looked perfect when they finished. They also fixed some marks on the side door that were there before the accident without charging me anything. I pointed them out when I dropped the car off, asked if they could take a look, and they fixed them for free. I thought that was pretty cool (got the car back better than how it looked before the accident). I don't have experience with other collision repair shops in the area so I can't benchmark them against others, but I can say that they did an excellent job repairing my car and they were very easy to deal with.

One of the worst experiences I have had with an body shop. They called and claimed my car was fixed and ready to go. Even notified the rental car company and my insurance which was another hassle. I came to pick up my car and it was a horrendous job. The specialist came out with a marker and made 20 marks on just the fender alone that they painted. There was debris under the paint, the fender wasn't aligned properly. So I refused to take my car until it was fixed. This was on Wednesday after they already had my car a week and promised me it would be done by Friday. So Friday came and went, no call, then I get a call from a manager saying he's sorry and it will be a few more days. So my cars here another week and I finally come to pick it up and it's still not ready. I told them I would be here when they open so my car would be ready and still wasn't ready when I came 2 hours after they open. Now I'm sitting here waiting for them to clean my car, I will NEVER be back nor refer any one to come here. This place does a sub-par job.

Fire Tye or whatever her name is. I called 8 times in a row. She doesn't listen and constantly talks over you, making it impossible to get an appointment. She assumes you psychically know the exact times they conduct estimates. She constantly hangs up on you. She is rude.Clearly she does not like answering your phone and she completely sucks at communication.Tye, as she calls herself, is your customers' first introduction to you and your company and if the service I got today is indicative of how she treats your customers, I'm surprised you are still in business. My insurance company referred me to your company the last time someone ran into me. I came back this time because you did a good job on the car despite going through the same type of huge hassles and inconveniences with your reception. Specifically; a few times telling me I had an appointment and when I had showed up on time was sent away because the reception didn't put me down in their calendar. I naively thought it was an uncommon occurrence.I'm finding another body shop. If you call up and find it extremely difficult to get an appointment for your car... it's no you. Somebody must have hired their niece.

I had a collision claim during the early part of the pandemic in 2020 they were excellent especially under the circumstances professional and did a good job. I've noticed that many companies used the pandemic as an excuse to be rude but they did not. They maintained their same level of professionalism. Now I have a new claim then I'm taking it back to them because they did a good job before.

Do not do business with Gerber!! They took a week longer than they said they would and so of course I complained. I was paying for a rental out of my own pocket. They were very short and uncaring on the phone. When I finally got my car back, the driver side seatbelt didn't work and the driver side window would not roll down. Not wanting to leave it with Gerber again I took my car to the dealer to get fixed and they said I was actually missing two parts that they had to replace, There was no reason for them to be working on my window or seatbelt as it was my bumper that was damaged. They did this out of pure spite. Terrible service!!

Only giving a one star because I can't give a zero. Had to take my car back 3 times for issues they missed. I WILL NEVER refer them. With the name Gerber I should have known. ALLSTATE was awful too. They referred them. Definitely not in goods hands.

Sorry for the late post. My car was serviced on 12-30-2019. I had no issues at all with Gerber. Thank you so much for your service. Ask for Alicia and you cannot go wrong. Thank you Alicia.
