Great job gentlemen !!Some years ago I got lucky and found out about Far East Motorworks from an owner of a classic 1960 s BMW. He said that he had also owned a Honda Accord and recommended Far East Motorworks very highly. Gordon and all the guys take great care of our Honda Accord Hybrid. If you own a Honda or Acura this business is the best in Atlanta!

I've written a favorable review for these guys before, and I think they're very good. But I want to share another story that is dissappointing. I took my 2011 Honda Odyssey to them for a comprehensive evaluation. The van was blowing puffs of smoke very infrequently and it concerned me. I was given a list of items that needed doing, and I did all of them for $4,200, thinking I would love to keep the van for many years. It had 190k miles.Since then, which was 5 months ago, it has become apparent that, like many Honda Odyssey V6 engines, it had bad rings and that was causing plugs to get dirty with oil, and I just had to replace the catalytic converters for $2,400. Finally, as I tried to sell the vehicle at 195k miles, a mechanic who wanted to buy it, quickly discovered that there was oil in the coolant, indicating a blown head gasket and the van stopped running well.I think these days, and maybe this is no one's fault, mechanics don't do compression tests to evaluate the status of cylinders. I think this problem was diagnosable at that time, and I might not have spent $6,600 in the last five months on a van that had a bad engine. Instead, I was told to just change the spark plugs unless it became too frequent. My point is, was it too much to expect that when I took it to them for a comprehensive evaluation, that they would have diagnosed the status of my engine? And my assertion is that there was something wrong with the engine when they evaluated it.I think they are good, but I also think this was a lapse on their part, and as a lay person with only rudimentary knowledge of car mechanics, they failed to provide the information I sought.

Recently purchased 2017 Honda Ridgeline. Made appointment to inspect and bring all maintenance up to spec. Now good as new! Very happy with service and cost so will be back again even though I live in Monroe.

I was hesitant to leave my dealer but they wanted to do too much unnecessary work and charge a ridiculous amount for the milestone service. The quote was no where close to other quotes.I decided on Far East Motor Works as they had positive reviews and their quote was reasonable. They were friendly, accurate, timely and made it an easy experience. They didn t try and upsell. I will use them with other mechanical needs going forward. Bye bye dealer

I ve used FarEast for the last two years for regular maintenance and repairs on my Acura. They ve always provided excellent service at a fair price, much less than the Honda/Acura dealers in Atlanta.

New to Atlanta and heard that Far East Motors was the best in the city for Hondas. Visited them for the first time today and can say they are a high quality, friendly, honest mechanic shop. Definitely will be my go to mechanic for my 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid

As a loyal customer for more than a decade, I have nothing but respect and gratitude for Gordon and his ethics and professionalism, as well as for his employees, including Robert at the front desk. I've always found the work to be of the highest caliber and more than fairly priced, and there is a sense with all employees of genuine caring for the customer's needs. I think Far East is a gem of a business.

FIRST VISIT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I recently inherited my parents' Honda and brought it to Far East Motorworks for a maintenance light and a few issues with my AC and door lock. As I was a new customer and unfamiliar with this car, they were so thorough in checking everything about it and Gordon was especially helpful to explain what his team felt it needed to be safely driven, along with what the itemized costs would be for their work. From the very beginning with my call for an appointment, I was impressed with the professionalism behind this business. I sought them out because they focus on Honda repair and I am very pleased with their work and expertise. My Honda has a new home for its maintenance with Far East Motorworks! Could have destroyed my engine. Thought they had done quality work on my car years ago but had a mechanic look at it recently and was astounded at his findings on the work that they had performed. I usually wouldn't come back and change a review later but I was just not very pleased with this at all.

I lucked up and found Far East many years ago after bad experiences with mechanic after mechanic, and after years of being taken advantage of by the large dealership/service centers. Far East has always been completely honest with me. I have used them for routine services as well as repairs. They assess the issues, call me with recommendations, and are always honest as to whether they believe it s urgent or if it can wait. Their pricing has always been competitive. I only wish they sold/serviced tires as well but they ve specialized/limited their services which is likely why they are excellent at what they do.

Exacting ProfessionsI took a 33 year old Honda that was my grandmother s car passed down to my mother. It needed attention. I was given a super fast diagnosis and repair turnaround and trusted value for services and parts. My dad was a mechanic so I kind of depended on these specialists and they came through! So grateful for Far East Motor Works!

They keep my dear, old Honda CRV running, are prompt, honest, reliable, and I love supporting a good locally-owned business.On top of that, quite a few times when I d had a car issue that concerned me but I didn t know if it was dangerous or not, I d call or stop by and they would give me their opinion or even find a way to quickly adjust something. After the terrible experience I had at the dealership, I was so thrilled to go to a honest mechanic shop who specialized in foreign vehicles. I took them my 2013 Acura TSX for CV joint replacement. They called me to go over the repairs in detail, and quoted me very reasonable prices for the work they needed to do. Lastly, they had it done in the time they promised and in my book, all those factors are definitely what makes them a 5 business! Thank you guys! True honest mechanics are extremely hard to come by and I highly recommend them for Acura owners!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement

Went in as a walk in so I didn t expect fast service but definitely didn t expect zero communication until 2 weeks after I dropped off my car. After calling a week after dropping off the car every day for an update, I left a voicemail to never receive a call back for another week. Coincidentally, I called from a friend s phone and they picked up immediately. When I tried to call back from that same phone, no answer, but once again when I called from an unknown number, they picked up immediately. Maybe the service when you make an appointment is better but they told me I just had a battery issue and a few weeks later, the same lights that were turning on beforehand, came back on. I ll be taking my business elsewhere.

I used to take my Honda s to Far East Motors and when my cars were under warranty I stopped. I have returned recently and received the same great service. They are kind, honest and do great work. My car is 5 years old now and I will continue to take it here for repairs and check ups. My husband wishes he could take his BMW there, because he sees the kind of place that it is.
