Easy in and out with key drop & appointments. Quality service and good value.Suggestions for management...Consider improving the parking area soon. You almost need an SUV to navigate the standing water and potholes. Not easy to see the actual exit on your way out. Nothing fancy needed... just dump some more gravel around. That would help.

I have never in my life even considering giving a mechanic a 5 star review, but Catherine's Auto Repair deserves it! Geornette was my point of contact and went above and beyond by giving me timely updates and working with my hectic schedule. She ran me through everything wrong with my beloved car in a way that I could understand without talking down to someone who doesn't know much about cars, and was always so kind. I dropped off my car alone in my flight attendant uniform, and let's be honest- a lot of mechanics would have taken advantage of that. But the price Catherine's charged me was unbelievably reasonable for parts and labor. I have been searching for a reasonably priced mechanic that I can trust since I started driving, and I FINALLY found them.

I've been using Catherine's ever since I moved to Atlanta and they've been nothing but amazing with the work they do and the service they provide. Whether it is just scheduled maintenance, service check-ups before big road trips, or recent car emergencies, they've always been reliable and informative about what's going on with my car and what they're doing to make sure it keeps running. They also have their customer's best interest in mind when it comes to things like the cost of repairs and locating the source of any issue so they know what needs fixing. I have been taking both of our Mercedes to Catherine's for 4+ years and I am extremely satisfied with the services they provide. The staff is friendly, professional, and honest. They explain all of the services needed, options and costs. My cars have always been serviced quickly and at a competitive price. The quality of work is exceptional - I have never had to bring a car back for a 'follow-up' repair. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing automotive repair services. I used to go to my dealership for maintenance and I m never going back. Catherine s provided maintenance at a reasonable and transparent rate and even provided very candid advice about the long term maintenance of my pretty old vehicle. Whereas the dealer mechanic tried to sell me on repairs worth 1.5x the trade-in value of the car itself, Catherine s (against their best interest in terms of getting my sign off on expensive repairs) was honest with me of the costs and of the fact that these one-off largest fixes will likely keep coming for an older car. They helped walk me through the trade offs of continuing to repair the old car vs considering getting or leasing a new one, and allowed me to confidently make the best decision for myself. I recently moved to Atlanta and was referred by a friend to Catherine's Auto Repair. I was looking for an honest, quality mechanic shop that charged fair prices. Within a day and a half, Catherine's Auto Repair was able to diagnose and fix my front brakes, rear brakes, and wheel bearing at a great price. They were friendly, transparent, and took the time to explain everything clearly to me before they began any work on my car. They even sent photos of the parts on my car that needed repair. Can not recommend them highly enough. I have been a happy and loyal customer at Catherine's for probably 4+ years now. They are trustworthy, kind and efficient. Every time I bring my car in for any little fix, they do a great check-up on the car to let me know what's needed long term beyond my ask, but they also understand my wallet and help me prioritize my car maintenance items.

I have used Catherine's for several years and have had a great experience each time. Last week, a friend's elderly father was in town and had card trouble. I knew exactly who to call. Catherine's was so helpful in getting him back on the road and safely back to his kids and grandkids. Catherine's diagnosed the problem quickly, found the part and repaired the car. I am extremely distrustful of mechanics, being a youngish woman, but I have never once felt like Catherine s has been dishonest or tried to pull one over on me. They are quick, convenient, and do good work without being overly expensive. And best of all, I never feel talked down to.

Second time going here, I was referred by a family who has been going here for years. I went to pep boys first to get a break inspection and of course, they tried to get me to replace everything for over $1500. I declined and brought my new accord to Catherine s, turns out I don t need half of that and I m paying below $500. They are awesome, nice, and understand the money situation if you re right on money. I ve been looking for a new mechanic since moving from Buford, and this is the place!!!!

I could not have better things to say about Catherine s Auto Repair. The service is fast, painless and very transparent. Everything was explained clearly to me (someone with no car knowledge) and they recommended the best options for me and saved me over $2000 compared to a recommendation from a nearby shop. Honestly, this is the first experience at an auto shop where I didn t feel like I was being taken advantage of for my lack of auto knowledge. I will no longer take my car anywhere else and have already recommended to all my friends in the area.

Taking my car to Catherine's Auto is the best decision I have ever made. Each time I take my car for a repair, I never have to worry about them finding hundreds of dollars in additional repairs, which has been my experience in the past. They do a thorough diagnostic exam and let me know what other issues I have, but, they in no way make me feel if I don't get the hundreds of dollars in repair, that my car will break down and leave me stranded on the side of the road. The Manager or Technician always make sure I have a complete understanding of the services I am receiving and don't make me feel silly for asking questions. Everyone greets you with a smile and even if you don't get the services that are recommended, they don t respond is anger or dismay. Good customer service means having thorough knowledge of your inventory, experience with your products, and being able to help customers make the best choices for them. ... Good customer service is treating customers with a friendly, helpful attitude. This definition describes Catherine's Auto Repair Staff perfectly. I highly recommend Catherine's Auto to everyone I know, when they ask about car repairs. Every car I own will always be repaired by Catherine's Auto. It's a great feeling to be able to take my car to an Auto Repair Shop and not feel that I am being taken advantage of just because I am a female.

Here's what happened. I was quoted a price, and it was a good amount of money. As they were doing the work, they found the problem would not require the part that was very expensive. They called me and told me that they found the problem and cancelled the order for the expensive part. I will recommend Catherine's Auto Repair to friends and family from here on out. These are honest people who aren't trying to make money off of you. Honesty goes a long way in my book, and I appreciate it greatly. Not looking forward to any more car troubles, but I am looking forward to working with Catherine's again soon.

Wow, it seems like a weird thing to get excited about, but my family is so used to getting jerked around by auto maintenance/repair shops - so our experience with Catherines has been phenomenal.Very efficient, made sure to run everything past us and most of all they do really quality work for a really decent price. Not to mention, they don't try to upsell you on anything, they're super honest about what needs repairing and what will need repairing soon etc etc. I feel as if most places would just try to repair everything at once, upsell you on parts or repairs you don't need and will just in general try to scrape that extra buck off.At Catherines? Cathrine's Auto Repair did an excellent job with my Honda Pilot. The staff was very professional, courteous, and timely. I came to them with a list of repairs from another Auto Shop. I wanted a second opinion. They confirmed some of the repairs I was previously quoted weren't needed and gave me honest advise on the repairs that were needed. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I would refer them to my family, friends and co-workers.

So nice and so honest! I have gone twice now in emergency situations with nails in my tires. Each time they squeeze me and have patched it. By told me the last time it was a little dangerous to patch but did it well enough I could get all the way to Tampa, FL. Highly recommend!

Catherine's has serviced my family's cars since she opened her first location on Piedmont Circle in the 2000. I hated getting my car serviced, post-divorce, because most mechanics were condescending and (I believe) told me I needed repairs that weren't necessary. I tried several dealerships and had the same experience. A co-worker suggested I give Catherine's a try and I've been a loyal customer ever since! Joinet (not sure of the spelling) is the best! She's friendly, professional and always pleasant. The mechanics repair what's needed and Joinet tells you what can wait until later. If they don't get something right the first time, which is RARE, they make it right, at their expense.I took one of the basic auto classes that Catherine used to offer, this was a tremendous help when I had a car that was barely holding on. Joinet suggested that I not put any more money into the aforementioned car. How many mechanics would give that kind of advice? A lot of them would continue to take your money. All of this is a long way of saying "Good work Catherine's and I look forward to many more years of having you guys service my car!"

I was told that my car needed a new motor because there was no compression. I had my car towed to different garage, which identified the issue as a flooded engine. They quickly identified the issue and fixed it promptly. Needless to say I would not recommend them .

Took my '99 Xterra to the shop on the west side of town about 2 years ago. Left specific instructions to exchange all fluids and belts only. After about a week or so in the shop, I picked up the car. Since that time I have had a rattle in the engine, and an increase in oil consumption not present previous to their repair. In their defense, I never allowed them to fix the issue, but that was because I didn't have another week to wait. Fluid and belt changes should be able to be completed in less than 3 days. Vehicles should be returned in a better condition than when they arrive.

I really want to give this place 5 stars but I feel as they over charged me. Also they charged $25 for a quarter tank of gas when it already had that much before I dropped it off. Also a quarter tank of gas cost me $10.I am very happy with the repair and the car is running very well.
