We have been very satisfied customers of Barron Garage for almost 20 years now. I always feel that I am in the best hands when Chuck and company are taking care of our vehicles and us, too. Fiercely loyal to Barron Garage and for good reason. We as a family with 2 plus vehicles that range in age from 1968 to 2003 recommend Barron garage for any auto troubles, and they give referrals for any bodywork as needed. Just can't give a more glowing review... :)

We have been taking our vehicles to Barron's Garage for nearly ten years now. They have always been honest, up front, and friendly to myself and my partner. Though my partner knows little about cars (and I do) they never tried to pull a fast one on him or be dishonest. They are honest people who enjoy the work they do and it shows. They may not be the lowest cost in town, but they are honest, fast, and when they make a mistake they take ownership and apologize. Can't ask for much more.

I normally don't give reviews, but this time I feel I need to. Barron's Garage is simply the best auto shop I've ever been to. JR (guy at desk) is honest and does his best to make sure you get your vehicle back on time. Pete, the mechanic who has worked on my car for last year and a half, is awesome at what he does. He does a thorough inspection to identify the problem or problems and him and JR do an excellent job at relaying the issues back to the customer. As for price, most auto shops cost an arm and a leg, but on several occasions they have been willing to work with me given that I'm not making the big bucks yet (recent college grad). Either way I'd highly recommend taking your car to Barron's Garage.

First let me say that the guys are knowledgeable. This review is simply a reflection of ill customer service.I sent my car in on a Monday for an estimate quote for what it would cost to change the fly wheel.Thursday afternoon I got a call from Chuck with the quote of $700 to change the flywheel. Chuck also went on to tell me about a host of other issues that were wrong with the car (This included transmission issues, mounts, as well as body...keep in mind, all issues that I didn't ask for). After hearing the $700 fly wheel quote, I knew that the garage was out of my price range. When I scheduled to have it towed things changed.Chuck informed me that I owed $100 because he put at least 2 hours of inspection into the car. When I replied that I didn't ask for the inspection he began to be snappy, unpleasant and rude.I paid the money. My car will get towed, but just know that these are knowledgeable but expensive hustlers.

Chuck always fully explains the work he is doing in detail. He never starts work until he gets your approval. Prices are fair and affordable. He works on domestic and international vehicles (I have a MINI Cooper S and my girlfriend has a Mazda 6). I have always gotten my car back the same day which is great. Chuck's attention to detail is second to none! Thanks so much for making my life a little bit easier!

I had an issue with my vehicle, Ford Explorer. I took my vehicle to Ford and they wanted to charge me an outrageous about of money to have my issue resolved. I ended up visiting Barron Garage based on these reviews and I was very pleased with my experience. They were very helpful and saved me over 50% from what Ford had quoted me. They're a small mom & pop type place, but I would definitely go back!

I recently had my vehicle towed to Barron's Garage because of the reviews that were provided on-line. My initial conversation with one of the service men was not positive and he indicated that a diagnosis for the car would cost $150 and if I allowed them to fix the vehicle then the diagnosis would not be waived unlike the policy that the majority of repair shops used including dealerships. The serviceman also quoted me a $6000 price for what I described to him were the problems the vehicle was experiencing, although they had yet to perform a diagnosis. He did state however they should diagnosis the problem first before he gave a solid quote. I asked them to perform and we would go from there.I later received a call from another serviceman working at Barron's Garage named Chuckie/Charlie who seemed to be a more sensible individual. He thoroughly relayed to me what the issues were with my car. I had a major oil leak and several lines and hoses needed to be replaced. He quoted a price of somewhere between $2100-$2500. I was actually relieved that the price wasn't closer to the $6000 I was first quoted, so I asked them to fix the vehicle. They kept the car for about a week because they don't work on either Sat. or Sun. Although I had a major oil leak for some reason they failed to change the oil because Chuck/Charlie stated I should have the oil changed soon.I picked the car up after repair and a payment of $2400, within a week the engine light came back on and the car was overheating. I immediately returned the car to Barron's Garage and asked them to determine why the engine light had came back on within a week and I also asked them to change the oil. When I called back to inquire about the car they stated one of the hoses had been placed on backwards and I owed them $64.00 for putting the hose back on the correct way and $44.00 for the oil change. I was appalled that a problem that the car was not experiencing before but began experiencing right after they had "repaired" my vehicle had occurred and they wanted me to pay them $64.00 for fixing a problem that was highly probable they had created. Because I requested the oil change, I expected to pay the $44.00 When I went to pick up the car the serviceman was extremely rude and accusatory and stated I probably had let someone else look at the car who put the hose on wrong. His behavior was inappropriate and not warranted especially for a customer who had just paid the shop $2400 for major repairs a week prior. In the end they knocked off the $64.00 but the fact that they attempted to bleed someone of more money for an issue they openly admitted wasn't even a big deal and only took 30 minutes to fix made me feel this repair shop is not honest and especially not with women. I just pray they really did fix my car honestly and with true knowledge and that they mistakenly put the hose back on wrong. I would not recommend this garage to anyone especially not women or someone who isn't knowledgeable about vehicle repair.

In general, the business left me an impression that the people here are skillful (at least better than the neighborhood), especially in electrical systems, and the price is fair (neither cheap nor expensive). My 2003 Dodge Neon was broken-in and the starter system was vandalized. After I towed my car to the repair shop where I usually went, they told me that my car need reprogramming and only Dodge dealers can do this. That means I should tow my car to 12 miles away and has no knowledge about the cost (but I know the dealers tend to overprice).Desperately I talked to another car repairing technician, who recommended Barrons Garage to me. Barrons Garage has the ability to reprogram. It rescued me from not only a long towing (it is within 1 mile to my home), but also the risk of unpredictably high cost (since if the quoted cost is too high, I can easily junk my car without other long trips).

Very helpful and honest. I have taken all my cars here for years and trust what they say. They have never pushed services on me and told me what they thought my cars needed long term.I have had many of my friends come here on my recommendation and save aton of time and money. Very glad to have this shop in Atlanta.

What a great shop! I have been going to Barron's garage for almost 6 years, you can really trust the mechanics opinion here, and they always have competitive prices. The receptionist isn't anything special to look at but with his quick wit and cheerless attitude it really brings that homey shop feel!!!

Great car shop. Thorough diagnostic accuracy combined with years of experience has created an atmosphere of confidence with all of our family members. The latest encounter with our '06 X3 involved a drivetrain problem that had been misdiagnosed by another shop closer to home (our bad for putting driving convenience before expertise). "Dr. Chuck" rode with me for a while listening closely under various speeds and road conditions. Based on his experience with squeaks per rotation (in reverse, no less) and the tone frequency of the roar/rumble, he correctly diagnosed the problem while we were still on the road, re-confirmed the problem later that afternoon on the lift in the shop, and had the problem fixed the following day. Total cost was just about a third of the other shop's inaccurate diagnosis and the correct issue was resolved. Thanks again Chuck and crew - we are regular customers again.

We just moved to Atlanta and needed a new auto mechanic to service our vehicles. Asking around we were directed to Barrons Garage and went by for a heating and cooling check service. The service was quick and very reasonable. We will be going back again for all car repair needs.

These guys are the best. Super knowledgeable and super accommodating. I wouldn't take my old classic car to anyone else. I've had the same mechanic for 30 years, but I like the others, too. They won't sell you something you don't need.

They took they're time to make sure everything was fixed correctly on my car. They were fair in they're pricing and kept me in the conversation with whatever they were planning on doing for my repair. I will not hesitate to return to Barron's.

Kept our car for two weeks, could not figure out what was wrong with it, then billed me $100.00 for this....???They told me I could not get me car back unless I paid them. They could not even figure out the problem. We were had by a crook.Make your own decision.

I went there during the 2015 summer with my Old 1979 dodge b250 campervan. After thousands kilometers of roadtrip, i can say for sure those guys were the ones most honest and gifted to take care of my van. I'm very glad i've found them at this time !

I took my car in because it broke down, and the guys here said they were backed up. However, they managed to get it fixed by the end of the day! They were really nice and helpful when I brought my car in.
