Tough to write this review because I never want to have people blow up my spot, but I love this business. Patrick is a straight shooter and you can tell he loves solving problems. This is an old school shop, no frills, 3 bays, smaller lot, but I'm always impressed by how quickly they move vehicles in and out.I moved to ATL from Chicago and was in search of a business I trusted with my 1965 Barracuda, and Patrick has been a godsend. He's evaluated an oil leak I couldn't find, done break assessment and repair, and fixed a trunk lock mechanism I couldn't get in.It's not an appointment online type place, but you need to call before going. That said, because they're always working, they're not going to pickup the phone all the time. This is part of keeping overhead low and prices low, and the prices are fair. If something changes, he will call you and talk through it. I think I speak for all mechanics not operating at a large retail location when I say, stop asking for updates, it's in their best interest to get you your vehicle as soon as possible.

I am not knowledgeable about cars. When going to the auto repair shop t's an easy place to be or feel taken advantage of. I didn't feel that way when I went there.When I explained what was happening, he believed me even though I couldn't get it to happen in front of him. He fixed the most pressing problems first, in an honest and thorough way. He is willing to help me get my 2005 Chevy in good running order one bit at time.Despite the fact he has PLENTY of work. I had a good experience and I will be back. I believe he is also a person who will say " I don't know" or he will find out.In a word, GREAT! In some other words, "THANK YOU!!!

Patrick got me in the morning after I called him for an AC tune up and brake service on my Volvo. He called and walked me through what he was going to do - and even found a good deal on parts. I left my car due to a cracked engine mount and also needed an antifreeze change and flush. Patrick and his son did a fantastic job on my car. I was able to pick up the car on the same day and was charged a very reasonable price. I will definitely take my car back to Patrick and Company as needed. Thanks for the great service!!

I have had Patrick make several repairs and he not only did them for a reasonable price, he advised me that one repair I was sure needed to be made, did not need to be made. It is hard to find an honest mechanic and then try finding one who's reasonable. Patrick is both! He never puts pressure on you to spend money you don't have to. He'll also explain the repairs in easy to understand details. You'll never walk away before completely understanding what he's doing.

Patrick is a trustworthy mechanic. He's also very accommodating. I had to had some work done on my car but couldn't come back to pick it up until a week later. Most shops that I've been to charge for overnight vehicle "stays" but Patrick was very nice about it and allowed me to pick up my car when it was convenient for me. Thanks Patrick!

My clutch suddenly went out on Thursday and I got my car back on Wednesday. His shop is no-frills but Patrick is fair, fast, and does good, guaranteed work. I highly recommend to all my clients and friends.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Patrick is the premiere mechanic, as far as I am concerned. He is extremely knowledgeable and honest. I could give him a blank check, and know he would be totally honest about the amount. Patrick is a no nonsense mechanic. Very hands on and honest. He worked on my Nissan not too long ago. The shop I took it to before and 2 other dealership said that only dealership can only worked on my car since it's a specific Nissan issue. Patrick proved them wrong, I got my car so quickly and the best part I never have to deal with the dealerships-as everyone know that they are no good. I highly recommend him and very thankful for a friend that introduced me to him. These type of small business is very rare nowadays and I hope people support them more often.

Ok I can take up a whole page on saying what a great mechanic he and his son, James are. They are the best and most reasonably priced mechanic in Atlanta! No one can compare! I love love love these guys!!!!!!!!!!!

Patrick goes out of his way to try and save you money, and always does a great job. Twice he's fixed something minor and not charged me for it at all. Patrick and James are also both awesome guys, highly recommended!

We broke down on I-75 in Atlanta headed from Florida to Michigan. Fuel pump went out. Patrick promptly fixed it good as new at a much more reasonable cost then the competition.

I have been going to partick for over 10 years, and i recommend him to all my friends and family. Always upfront about pricing and if their is a cheaper alternative to fix something will let you know about it. Honest mechanics are rare this days...

I feel the need to warn people about this business, my classic car is now sitting with a ruined motor after I've paid a grand and this was the third price change he gave me And my car was running PERFECT it was just running hot. I took my car in to replace the oil pump, I bought the parts. He convinced me the timing chain needed changing but my car ran perfect and was just running hot (I had already flushed the cooling system) but reluctantly I agreed believing and trusting this guy. When I picked up the car he tells me I may need to replace the radiator??? Plus the bill was unbelievably padded. My first quote to change the oil pump was 300, then it went up to 845 including the timing chain. When I arrived to pick up the car the bill was now 965, he gave me a list of extras he had to do including a 35 dollar alternator belt. I have NEVER in my life paid that much for a belt!! I had the car towed home and cranked it, I immediatly noticed my car was running so badly it was actually shaking, my motor was knocking and now it was making a high pitched whining noise. I immedialty called him and he said it was running rough because he was unable to set the timing because I needed to buy another part! So why did he not completely repair my car while it was in the shop, seems like he knew my car was damaged and he was in a hurry to get it out his shop. I drove less than a mile from my house later that night just to verify it was no longer running hot...and it again overheated so i was stranded after midnight! Now it sounds like chains are rattling in the motor I believe the bearings have failed from oil starvation, a mechanic told me a loud whining noise is a sign of failed oil pump so I wonder if he even installed my high performance melling oil pump. Also when i got the car home the hoses were hand loose, I had to tighten them along with the fan shrowd plus had to replace antifreeze. Won't return my calls, signs of a crook.

Been going to Patrick for years (wont go anywhere else!).UPDATE: I've moved out of Atlanta to Carrollton, GA [1h 20min West of ATL] but I'll still take my cars to Patrick. Why? I TRUST HIM.

I visted this shop when i was a kid i just found this shop still here called patrick told him i had a air condition problem told me come in 10 30 next day his son started on my car as soon as he came in ran tests and found exactly what problem was with father who name is patrick father like son great mechanics and a very good price to fix my car out of shop very fast these guys are awesome you want good mechanics and good prices go here to fix your car they work great together keep up the great work thank you patrick and patrick your friend bear iam glad i called because hard to honest mechanics

Head gasket job was done by Patrick's son. After repairs, my engine blew. Patrick claimed it wasn't his or his son's fault. Ha! Rip you off
