Alan did an amazing job. I needed my ac compressor and condenser replaced a couple weeks ago. I had the parts already. I dropped my car off Friday morning and picked it up an hour before he closed. I have working air now. Just in time before it gets extremely hot. Going back to him soon. Recommend my family to go to him.

When we arrived at Allen s shop today, he had quite a few customers, and he immediately came to us and greeted us, then he asked us what do we need, and he looked under the hood, and quickly told us what was wrong and showed us the problem. There also is an AutoZone right next to his shop, so he told the parts to get, then I went to the AutoZone to get the parts, and when I brung the parts back, they worked on our vehicle right away, and it didn t take them long to fix what was wrong , And they didn t take any breaks when fixing our vehicle. They have a number of men working there that works on different cars. I like the quick and professional service that they provide. Their labor prices are reasonable too.

Alan is a cool guy. Just drive up, tell him what you need, and he delivers! These are my go to guys whenever I need tires or an alignment (which he does by hand, no machines). I didn't realize how sloppy of a job he did !!!Damaged my rim and said it was already like that.Try to sell me another one!After talking to him over the phone he told me to bring the car back, he'll fix the problemAnd give me $10 in gas to drive back to his station 1 hour away!The only thing he did was rotated the tire and he said he's not going to give me gas because he fix the problem!!I will never go back to him or recommend anyone.If you do so do it in caution he didn't care about me on my safety when he put that tire on knowing it made my car unsafe.

Alan last minute fit me in on a Saturday when he had plenty of other things going on and on top of that he got me in/out. Services: replaced my rack and pinion bushings and got her aligned too. One of the worst experiences ever!!! Overcharged on work that he didn't do. Had to take my car somewhere else when I finally got it back. They ran into my car door with a truck. They call themselves getting it fixed, but I'm my eyes, its still terrible. They stole my jumpbox(brand new, btw) and didn't want to pay me the full price for it. Never ever going back. I used to go all the time, for the convenience, but now, never ever again

7 months ago I went to this shop for a tune up and I told the mechanic about how shaky my car would get on the road and wanted him to find and fix the issue. The mechanic took me home which was nice of him while he diagnosed and tune up my car. The mechanic later called me and said that I needed a cv joint put on both side of my car and he was done with the tune up and he repaired my car on the driver side of my vehicle. Today I went for a tune up and since my car was still shaky I had a friend take a closer look at my vehicle. On the tune side of thing the spark plug was rusty and the brands didn't match. On the cv joint end my cv joints were in perfect condition and the real issus was the arm bar on both passenger and driver sides of my car once we took off the tires it was very noticeable where the shaking was coming from. I was charged $700.00 for this guy to hold on my car and return it back to me in the exact same condition. I will never go back to this shop. I recommend everyone to double check the request work from Alan's.Services: Auto engine tuning, Wheel alignment

Really Good service & experience. I had rims got band they fix it in 30 minutes they gave me used tier for that rims that massed up and one plastic piece came out from bottom of car they fix all this in around 30 minutes, definitely will be back when I have next problem. I really recommend this place for any year model car. Alan was cool guy.

He was good and fast! With my car, it was made in a overseas factory, so everything is inverted versus the US style of placements of engine parts, ie. my battery is behind the driver wheel and brakes so to change the alternator, the wheel and everything will have to be removed.Not only did Alan himself knew where emy water pump was, he fixed it the same day. Was pricey, but with the amount of work he had to do just to get to the water pump, it balanced out. Will go back to him if I need more repair.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The place doesn t look like much, but the service is honest and timely, which is hard to find in the world of mechanics. I thought my starter was bad on my Silverado, so I dropped it off with Alan. He called me a couple hours later and said it was just a loose wire to the starter, and I needed a battery. I was back in the drivers seat 2 hours later. They could have easily charged me for a new starter, but they were stand up honest guys. Thanks, and keep up the great work!Services: Electrical repair, Battery

I had a few issues with my car that needed an immediate fix, Alan was kind and swift and got me in quickly and had my car ready a couple of hours later! He did great work. I m very happy with the results and his prices are were very fair. Definitely beats going to the dealership and now I have my friendly neighborhood auto shop that I know I can rely on in a pinch. Mr Allen did very good job, my Toyota Camry was nobody can fix it, but he did fix, cheap price. Thank you very much, Allan, I come back again and price is very low, I like it. And he didn't take too long this vehicle he fixes same day. All other persons say, take 5 day. COME HERE!!!!!!! I am a young woman who knows absolutely nothing about maintaining my first car. After googling mechanics near me it led me to Alan s and I do not regret one bit. I have saved his number and he will become my regular mechanic. My car was shaking badly whenever i drove it and i decided to get it checked out. I went to autozone to figure out the cause and they told me i had a cylinder 3 misfire and i needed to replace the ignition coil. Alan was extremely patient with me and was on the phone with me while i was purchasing the parts and even offered me his personal promo code to get discounted costs on my parts. I also needed a new tire and everything was done quick and efficiently. In and out experience at a EXTREMELY Reasonable price. If i could give 1000 stars i would. Alan Auto Repair gave me fast service. I had to get a fender liner and an alternator (different vehicle) put on and Alan was able to get me in same day for a reasonable price. I was first recommended to Alan in 2000 when my 96 Tahoe's Engine/ Transmission gave out. Alan not only rebuilt it for a great price but had my truck sounding better than when I had the dealership working on it. The engine ran so quiet at times I forgot it was on. After that Alan has been my mechanic. I have been using Alan s Repair shop since 2011. He always gives prompt service for very fair prices, and will install parts of your choice unlike other repair shops which require you to install their own.On 10/23/2020 Alan promptly installed new rotors and pads on my front axle within the 45 minute window I had available for lunch. He charged me a very reasonable price, half of what a franchise mechanic would.I recommend his services and will continue to be a patron!Service: Brakes

The throttle body in my car went out and was very urgent that I get it fixed that same day to get to work. I stumbled upon Alan s auto shop and Alan and his crew were very friendly and able to get my car fixed and for a reasonable price. Just moved to the city so not sure of any other mechanics around but will definitely be going back here with my car needs.

Terrible experience! One of our vehicles broke down so my husband immediately had it towed to the closes auto repair shop .The owner installed a part( starter someone else suggested) 2 hours goes so by i call to see if it s ready to be picked up and he said the engine & gasket was blown but he installed the part!! if he knew that why install a $200 part to a car that your saying is no good ? he didn t bother to give us a call to let us know and still wanted $150 for installing which we paid ! this happen on a Saturday 3/13/2022 he talked about how cold it was so we agreed for monday that he take the part back off & put the old one back on you will not believe as soon as they opened up and he got the part out he wanted the car off his property my point is the business is no good and not fair it seems he s money hungry i understand desperate circumstances but really?? the appearance of it screamed no , I should have knownService: General repairs & maintenance

Charged me $45 for an oil change they werent equipped to do. They asked if i brought my own oil and filter which i hadnt. They then told me i would have to walk next door (to auto zone) and buy my own oil, but they ended up having some oil to be changed in 3,000 miles. Didnt offer me any details on the type of oil or anything. Also had no stickers for next my change, saying they would get more next time. no need, as I wont be returning.Service: Oil change

Had a flat tire and found Alan s place was close by. They had me in and out in literally 20 minutes, which was amazing. HOWEVER, I was told that my tire had been replaced (they only sell used tires) and I found out a few weeks later that they patched the old tire while charging me for a new old. An expensive patch. Also note it s cash only.

Called after trying to repair my own car which didn't work out. I called and Alan understood exactly what I was saying. I have an Audi and everyone was telling me how expensive it was going to be to fix it and to fix everything and even fix my bumper back to normal was a great price. Also got my car back in 24 hours. I highly recommend.

I had a previous oil change at another place and they put the oil pan bolt in way too tight. I rounded the bolt and Alan repaired it very quickly when I came in. He is very easy to get along with, professional, and courteous. I m from NY, recently moved to ATL. I have a Jeep & I ve always taken it directly to Jeep for EVERYTHING. I took a chance on this shop & it was honestly the best experience I ve gotten at any mechanic shop. EVER. Especially as a female walking in alone, some shops will milk you. They were honest & explained everything vividly & showed me the issues. Also Auto Zone is next door! (Alan helped me get money back on my used parts) overall, I paid less than I would have paid going to Jeep or other recommend shops. I was listened too & helped & learned something in the process. Alan is stuck with me. & I m stuck with him. As long as I m in ATL, his shop IS MY GO TOO! This is a great spot. The young man Mr. Blake always assists me. He is very friendly and helpful. If he's not able to the other mechanics have no problem coming over. I get my tires, oil changes, headlights and a switch change. I have been going here for all of the 4 years that I've lived in Atlanta and they've worked on all 3 of my vehicles. The only reason that I didn't give a 5 was because they're so popular that there is a wait even when you have an appointment.

Alan & his guys repaired my 2012 Nissan Versa when the fuel pump went out. I'd already had it looked at by another mechanic but they said it was just the fuse. 2 weeks later, it was out again...so I got it towed to Alan's Repair on Metropolitan Ave., just South of Cleveland Ave. He gave me a very fair price to fix it...and let me pick up the parts at NAPA, so it was cheap as possible to get me rolling again in a couple of days. Alan is great! He has fixed my honda a couple of years ago. CV joints, tune up and tires. Recently changed my brakes on my Sorrento. Quick and knowledgeable.*3yrs ago update: Alan provided excellent service today. I had my alternator replaced and he did this in short noticed! He also recommended services and let me know when I should look into getting repair completed. Also the price was GREAT...$500 LESS THAN PEP BOYS! I will update the next service that I need. Great Job Alan!!!
