Very disappointed with the customer service experienced today. Not too sure if Tamera is in a management position or if she is a sales associate, however her lack of competence for Advanced Auto s Return Policy is concerning. I expected better.

By me being a professional trucker I have to handle a lot of business over the phone. So I called Advance Auto Parts and the lady that received my call was very professional and curtious!!! I had various questions and she remained helpful through entire phone conversation. Thanks for your help (Tamara) excuse me if I misspelled your name. To add to my experience Calvin and JR really helped me resolve my issue with my commercial account. They were also very helpful and patient.

EDIT: My review was meant for the Advance Auto parts on Cleveland avenue, not the one on Donald Lee Hollowell parkway. I have never been to the store on Donald Lee. My apologies for the mistake. I blame Google LOL When Google asked me if I'd like to write a review, I assumed it was for the one on Cleveland avenue.In actuality, I believe this location to be worthy of three stars, but I'm giving it two stars because the Boomer behind the counter was a tad misogynistic. Not overtly. Just passively.Other than that, they had the item in which I was looking. I was hoping to spend a little extra cash on some fun car accessories, but their selection is purely utilitarian. No fun to be had :-(So, I browsed their car cleaning products, hoping to spend some money on something to make my trip worthwhile, but alas, their prices are the highest I've ever seen, comparatively.I like to spend money, but I definitely look for bargains. Which is why I went there in the first place. Specifically, for their three-piece wire brush drill attachment set. As of the time of the posting of this review, the cost of the aforementioned is $4.99 lol

The return policy clearly states that if a customer return something and it still under warranty it is at the managers discretion to either issue in exchange or refund I just came with a AC charge hose that was very defective and the manager at her own discretion decided to give me an exchange instead of a refund and that s what I had requested. It s 9 AM in the morning and ate hardly have any customers all I wanted was my 13.06 back that I paid for this item so I could go to auto zone like my father recommended. I simply asked the manager named Christina if she wanted to give me a refund because it was at her discretion to give me a refund or an exchange but she wanted to give me an exchange and I was wanting my money back and I just purchased this item a day before I highly recommend no one shops here they have horrible customer service.

Great customer service. The sales associates were very professional. The guy who assisted me was hands on. He showed me how and where to put the oil in my car. What type of brake fluid and coolants to use. He made it exciting becoming familiar with my new car. Advance auto is the place for great customer service and auto parts.

Tamara. P WAS AMAZING! I left another store after they were out of battery cleaner. I call up Tamara and she reassured me the item was in stock. Upon arrival she immediately directed me to where the item was located. I also needed some detail brushes for my project, they were out of stock on the shelf. I felt like I just couldn t win, but Tamara came through again and checked the back stock and brought the brushes I was looking for and restocked the shelf after. Simply smooth customer service!!! Tomorra was very helpful too, cut my finger and she got me a band aid free of charge!

The employees were nice they tested my battery and alternator, they were short staff so could not install battery. I still would return to this location. No mask required.

My car battery went out this past Saturday, so I went to my local Advance auto where I was greeted and asked if they could help me. One of the staff members (Chris) walked in and said "ma'am you know you left your car running?" I told him yes because my car won't start back up if I turn it off. I then stated I need my battery and alternator checked. He was very willing to help and grabbed the tester box. Told me a needed a new battery. He installed it and checked my starter and alternator and showed me the results. He showed willingness to help from the beginning yt the end. Great customer service!!

I am a business owner and I have never left a bad review. I know how it can negatively affect a business. I am doing this to try to help the owners of this shop. The employees are consistently rude and unprofessional. My feelings are not hurt and I don't take it personally. I just want the owners to understand how awful the staff is at that place. It's actually kind of hilarious how rude and unprofessional the employees are.

But you must be careful. This place will try to rip you off when it comes to redeeming your warranty. The manager there will give you the run around, then will try to throw you off by pointing to the yellow mat on the register counter that tells you about store purchasing into, hoping it will confuse you and cause you to give up... Not me.. I called corporate. And got that lol manager right together with the info corporate gave me. The manager had no choice but to concede and give my money for the starter I recently purchased that fails within 3 months. Ugh.... Make sure you purchase with your speedpass.. Or they may get away with it.

It took two trips to return a part that we didn't need. The MOD did not want to personally address my concern came to the front after she thought I was gone. There I was and then she had no choice but to honor my return but after she suggested to sell it to a mechanic shop down the street.My response..."Do I look like a crack head" smh!
