Billy was hands down the best auto sales representative I have ever dealt with. He was extremely knowledgeable, sincere and friendly, and we enjoyed getting to know him. We left the purchase with confidence about the car, Billy and the rest of the team that works there. Five stars out of five.

The service from Eva and Billy was the best. They worked as a team and got the deal done with no issues. I was at the dealership to sign and pickup my vehicle and I was in and out in 1hr and 30 minutes tops. Excellent service.

Five stars isn t enough! I am not affiliated or paid in any way, I just think that highly of the GSM at this dealership. This is the 2nd Volvo I have purchased from him and his team and he is doing everything right! My purchase experience was actually fun and exciting like it should be. We really felt taken care of. Highly highly recommend.

We came from Atlanta to shop and our original salesperson was out ill. Bill Stuever jumped in to assist, took us for a test ride and completed the purchase of a very nice used Volvo. Not only was everyone very nice and helpful, but the quality of the used car was head's and shoulders above other dealerships we shopped previously. Thank you very much for a great car and a great buying experience.

Great service as usual! I put my XC60 in for an oil change and tire rotation and it was done in under an hour and a half. Robin is a great service rep!

The staff (once I was able to get in touch with someone) were very helpful and friendly (especially since I had to bring back my car a second time in one week). The two people in the service department (at the desk) and Dee were very helpful.

Disappointed. I was greeted by a friendly lady who directed me to the service desk, when I told them I spoke earlier in the morning with them they stated I had the wrong person. I drove roughly an hour from Lake Oconee only to be told that I am not eligible for a loaner vehicle due to my age. Wish someone would have clarified the requirements before driving this far.

Last minute appointment was made. I was able to get my vehicle in for service. The technician did a great job servicing and washing my vehicle and getting me back on the road in record time. I really did appreciate the service provided.

I had purchased in August a lease/pre-own Volvo from Volvo Cars of Athens. I had noticed that the brakes seem to have a shuddering effect when I applied them. When I brought the car in, the mechanic indicated that the brake rotors were found to be warped. Long story short; this could have been a very expensive repair outside of the pre-owned warranty on my car however, since i only had put less than 2K miles on the car, the Service Department felt that the proper thing to do since I only had the car a very short while was to replace those rotors on all four wheels and to ensure safety and intergrity of the car was to go ahead and replace the brake pads as well. I was a bit overwhelmed at the dealer doing all this work and they bore the expense to ensure that I, the customer was safe and well cared for. How many auto dealers would even consider taking out of their profits to do this for the customer?? I assume not many without the customer shelling out quite a bit as well. This is after all, a VOLVO. I have bought 4 cars from this dealer and I will be back for # 5 in a couple of years (God willing). I cannot thank my salesman (Billy Steuver), the service team of whom I am privileged to always have to assist me; Robin and Josh.I cannot say or offer enough appreciation for Volvo of Athens and the following people I mentioned above for how grateful I am that they are the epitome of business, service and overall customer care!Gladly submitted,Larry M. I am on my 2nd leased Volvo from this dealership and while the salesman are amazing the customer service and the service department are the worst I ve ever experienced. My 2024 Volvo has had multiple issues, I definitely got a lemon. Many times I ve called or tried to call only to have my call dropped or leave a message that never got a call back. I tried to make online service appointments only to show up to have them say my appointment wasn t in their system. They didn t care about the problems I was having, they were totally unconcerned and as the previous reviewer stated the service I did get was incomplete and shoddy. I don t know what s happened to this service department either but my new Volvo just completely died on me Thursday and after calling on Friday about it they still haven t picked it up or even called me or replied to my email about my problems with the car!. They gave my daughter a loaner (I m out of town at the moment) and were very rude to her as well. I also recommend staying far away from this service department as well for anyone who already has a Volvo but would also not recommend Volvo at all after this horrible experience with a brand new luxury car . It has not been a luxury experience by any means whatsoever. Too bad, I loved my first Volvo .

Purchased new in 2016 from dealer and 99% serviced by Athens dealer. Seven years later at 90k mileage a blown head gasket. Buying Toyota from here on out. Contact Hunter Volvo Cars Asheville for their findings.

I have been doing business with Volvo Cars of Athens since 2012 when I bought the first of 3 Volvos from them. That said, the sales team is amazing and honest; however, in the last 2 years something has changed in the service dept. Where it was once very reliable and dependable, it now is atrocious. They lack any semblance of communication skills, the mechanics are inept or dishonest- I honestly am not sure. And the service manager is perhaps the most the concerning. Nevertheless, I highly recommend if you need your Volvo serviced to stay as far away from this dealership as possible.

Great experience with the amazing Volvo service department. Robin is an absolute rock star that worked our XC60 on a moment s notice. Extremely professional and knowledgeable on every level. Would highly recommend for all your Volvo service needs.
