Take 5 on Atlanta Highway in Athens is a great place to get a quick oil change. With the price of everything going through the roof, its nice to know I can get get a reasonable oil change at Take 5.Real deal hack. Google and look for a coupon

I had such a great experience here on 3/14/24! The lady (I can't remember her name, she was pregnant, arm sling) was the most helpful. Even though she was handling my ring up and check out, she made sure the guys were on task and checking everything necessary for my car. Not only did I get an oil change, but her and the guys caught that my coolant was 100% almost done for, and my filter was AWFUL. She and the guys also offered to remove my broken skid plate for me before my damage was done. I had been there 2 times before and no one had offered to do such a thing for me! This team yesterday was INCREDIBLE. I'm so excited to continue to use them while I'm here in Athens for college. They also offer a very generous college student discount!

Typically Take 5 is my favorite and will remain that way. However, this particular visit in Athens took over 45 minutes due to some of the employees continually talking amongst themselves.Bee was my person and I give her props. She moved quickly and efficiently. Everything else was outside of her control.Great pricing, and they treat veterans very well.

My experience there is great Answered in details questions that I had also explained and concerns on what needed to be fixed on my truck in the near future requarding on the things that they checked. They all were very kind, super friendly and very professional. That was my 2nd time going there and the 1st time I felt the same way. I will recommend them and thanks for your great service.

Busy day but they were communicative and attentive. The lady who helped us was also so sweet to my kid in the car. Really enjoyed something I normally don t think about too much. The coupons I was emailed were significant for a discount and I will happily come back over and over. Thanks!

Will NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN!I recommend others DO NOT GO THERE! They left a bolt loose after my oil was changed, oil was leaking for 2 whole weeks! I took my car back. The guy went back underneath and tightened up everything, said nothing was found but the leak stopped ! I m sure it did because they had left a bolt loose or out of my car and didn t want to admit to it. Then on yesterday, I went to top off, I had sat there for 10 whole minutes and nobody came out to say anything about it when they d get to my car. All I did was get out and ASK? The girl that works there went off! on me, she made the people behind me back up and told me she was NOT giving me any service, but didn t give me a reason why.I had to go buy oil to put in my car.If they were behind on customers all they had to do was come out to my car, be professional and say so.That s how you do business, I want the number to the corporate office because I ve been doing business with them for years and she needs to be reported.I refuse to let someone treat me this way

Stopped for a quick first engine oil change, and the female worker kindly talked me through everything and ensure everything was good with my tire and AC filter as well. This was my first oil change and I was alone but she made me feel very informed and understood during the whole time :) Would love to recommend & visit again!

I ve always enjoyed getting my oil changed at take five because they are friendly, helpful, and efficient. Unfortunately, at my last visit my skid plate was not reattached perfectly. Shortly after I left, a corner of the plate came loose and started dragging on the ground. By the time I could figure out what was happening and get back over to take five to get it fixed, this wasted more than an hour of my day plus gasoline And I had to miss part of a family activity. The staff were apologetic, and they fixed it, although the plate was somewhat damaged from dragging. I would have expected a major coupon for my next visit given this experience. It was the opposite of convenience. I understand mistakes will happen , but they should have made this right beyond just reattaching my skid plate.

Everyone was polite, knowledgeable. They checked everything very well.I have one issue with the oil gauge going from low to high and beeping for low oil pressure. It s never done that before. They told me to bring it back in and they would check everything. I got shots in my back the same day, and haven t had a chance to go back yet. I trust they will take care of it.

The gentleman in his mid 40's who guided me in the bay was extremely rude and treated me like I was stupid. I have a very large truck and have been driving it for years. I don't need someone to rudely tell me how to drive it, and his attitude cost this store a customer because I immediately pulled through and went somewhere else. I don't want someone who treats people like that touching my vehicle. With an attitude like his, I would most likely come out of there with a stripped drain plug or something worse. I don't trust someone with a bad attitude. Not to mention the guy who greeted me said he was barely alive when I asked him how he was doing. What is going on here? Take 5 is usually extremely professional... next.

Cole and the whole team did a great job. A lot of attention to details and Cole fixed my maintenance light (which other oil change services have not been able to turn off for for the past two years). I will be going back!

I love going to get my oil change at this location all the employees are very nice and respectful and make sure you are happy with their services. The management of this site is so easy to talk with and makes you want to come back with the highest quality of service his team does with not only oil change but anything that you need.

This was my first time at a take 5. I just came back home after a long distance road trip. It was a Sunday and my normal place is closed on weekends. This place did a fantastic job, and I really appreciate their great and friendly customer service. I will definitely be back. Especially due to the added bonus of the FREE top off! Boo yeah!

I got my oil changed here earlier this month, and they didn t secure the plate over the oil filter when they finished. It s almost seems like they bent it??? It came loose and has been dangling under my car, would not recommend this place at all.(updated) i changed from 1 to 2 stars because i went back to get it fixed and the attends very nice, but a bolt still came loose once i drove off

I received exceptional service from Bee and Demetrius today. Changing oil on a Smart car is no easy feat, but this crew carried out the task efficiently and paid attention to the particularities of the car. Friendly crew & swift service!

Really liked the service but it's way too expensive I got the high mileage oil change and on my sticker they put to return for oil change in 3,000 miles. That doesn't sound like high mileage. I'm doing my own from now on.

Unfortunately this was filled everything that you do not want in the 10 minute oil change experience. My family and I were visiting this location as we were in the area for the holidays visiting family in Georgia traveling from North Carolina. I arrived to the location around 2:24 and left at 3:38. Well over an hour to get in and get changed. In between each of the three bays there was what I'd like to call the oil change machine where it draws the oil through vacuum or suction from the top of the engine without having to remove the oil pan plug. These were not in use so the technicians remove the oil plug to change the oil. Fine. When they remove the oil drain plug, the oil as it flows from the pan now splatters and collects onto the vehicle covers on the bottom of the vehicle. This I don't discover until I'm back home in North Carolina and see two dinner plate size oil stains on my driveway. I checked the oil level in the engine to ensure that it's not leaking from the drain plug and the level appeared fine. So I decided to elevate the vehicle to get under it and remove these two covers to clean the mess and set it back right. It's at this point that I also inspect the drain plug and I noticed oil is dripping from it. So now I have to drain all the oil in order to remove the plug to resolve the issue and put it back together. So now at this point in my 10 minute Take 5 oil change experience I have $140 invested, more than an hour at location, two more hours at my home to clean the mess and address the leaking drain plug and also had to add another 8 and 1/2 quarts of Euro spec Castrol synthetic 5W30 (another $75) when I'm finished so when it's all said and done the only thing I drove out of there was a new oil filter.

I m not sure of the name of the female mechanic who did my oil change, but she had a great sense of humor, and was a very kind person even took the time to say hello to my daughter on top of being very professional. It was actually an enjoyable experience. Thank you.

Had two employees help me out when I came to get an oil change and they found some issues with my car. They explained what the issues were, how they would need to go about being fixed, and even pointed out where to. When I asked em how much the visit would run me, since I felt like they gave me valuable information, they said nothing. If I remembered their names, I would name-drop them, as they deserve the recognition. Alas I m forgetful. Definitely recommend, and when I get my car resolved, they will be where I go to get oil.

This is one of the only places I trust to change my oil; and the only one in Athens. The workers are always so friendly, quick and helpful. Only place I ve gotten my oil changed in over a year!

Decent service for the price, the service tech was helpful in showing me options however he claimed he was the fastest in the shop and in doing so might make a mess. To be honest I know this is a dirty job but the amount of oil on the undercarriage of my car and in my garage after returning home was alarming. I normally do the work myself but was in a time crunch, after further inspection there was oil all over the front bumper and my car was just a mess. Honest about what extras you do and don't need. They went above and beyond getting a part offsite(air cabin filter) while I waited in my car an extra 10 minutes. I'll be going back. Quick and professional!
